Tangent

Two lines, looking for answers Who dared to cross different planes They gambled with numbers and letters Searching for x in sun and rain From east to west, they tried to find They also tried from north to south The value of x they'd always mind They cried all night just to be figured out And so one day, before they finally give up They crossed again the crest And there their lives have touched mayhap That was the first yet also the last So tragic and so odd Their lives have met yet then parted O life is really so sad It just divides anything united
