Gossip 2
Written: by Miracle Man

Hardly anything unseen can remain hidden for long.
Ravenous appetites for gossip always seek to prolong,

We can never be unchained from things in our past,
To others, in thought, were coupled hard and fast.

Though superficially interred we think them forgotten,
But Satan comes with a spade to unearth the rotten;

Premium Member A Pretty Face

Give me anguish that feels like my heart has been staked,
Give me betrayal, entrapment, and hatred of my race.
Give me shame, humiliation, and painful disgrace,
But please oh please spare me, a pretty face.

The Stereotype

Live by Stereotype,
Die by Stereotype,
Living superficially with double standards,
Racism, sexism, Haters,
Hating on who you want to be,
Who you were,
and who you are,
Biasing opinions on bad examples,
Not wanting to learn the truth,
The truth silently hiding behind the exterior,
The reality,
Blind to looks,
Based on actions, attitudes, and personality,
Based on honesty, pride, and intelligence,
Based on...
The truth...

Promises Not Kept
                                            by Chuck Keys

As leaves flow in the breeze,
Change. Peanut butter needs jelly.
Water can taste dry - alone effortlessly.

Color is a difference. Superficially superficial.
A little boy lives without ... - Fearful. Tearful.
Cold without a roof.

My mommy isn't home,
Job searching in disguise. No. Heatless
And brrr, cold smiles ... anger heartache.

Daddy, what daddy?
TV was stolen, again.
Willy got cut up, bad.

Spend money on me, not war,
Nothing changed since Martin
Why? I'm hungry. Oneness.

The sun's a majestic and radiant power
And all it caresses is warmed by its kiss.
It revives each day with a new beginning,
But in evening, succumbs to twilight's dim bliss...
To be bright and radiant as the rising sun,
Yet glow softly as sunset when day is done.

The moon, such a solemn and lonely sphere
Lays like a jewel on the velvet of night;
A defined silhouette on the darkness of sky,
Reflecting a tranquil, but mysterious light...
To be bold and cool as the moon's icy spark,
Yet meek as the shadows that hide in the dark.

A breeze playfully stirs in the fresh morning air
As it travels its way unhindered and free,
At impulse can turn into a gale of a wind,
A determined master of the land and the sea...
To be childlike and free as a soft summer breeze,
Yet impelling and strong as a wind felling trees.

The misty whisper of a drizzling rain,
Quiet and soothing as a gentle hum,
Can become the beat of a different song
With torrential pounding like a jungle drum...
To be gentle and coy as the raindrops of spring,
Yet persevering as a rainstorm's wildest fling.

The crystalline flakes of a snowfall descend
Creating vast blankets of whiteness that gleam,
Superficially masking the time-weathered earth,
A vision to behold, so peaceful and clean...
To be light and fragile as the new-fallen snow,
Yet deep as the earth that is lying below.

Titless Girl

This reality is a titless girl:
Nothing to offer superficially;
But if I peeped under her breast,
I'd receive what'd put my soul to
rest.
Sadly, I haven't the greatest of
senses
To blow my fallible beliefs out of my
ear;
What's offered underneath will stay
in the rear.

Black Rainless Clouds

The dark cloud lifted to find ourselves on the global stage
In spite of the stage fright, we united into a fist of courage
The arable land awaits, but instead erodes from our uncertain steps
The endless boycott and protestations, but the rain never drops

We choreograph a new rain dance
Blame migrants and superstition for our circumstance
Blame our dark history for this now sinking ship
Blame Politian(s), we elected to power for their poor leadership

Too much freedom (without responsibility) can be liken to too much rope
Too soon have we discarded Mandela’s robe of hope
His dream was to make the tip the top of our continent
He had the makings of a king, but chose rather to be president

The burning rubble fumes black rainless clouds rendering us blind
The choking smoke throwing us further into darkness on the ground
What if the rain never comes and we’re forced to immigrate
Are we to expect a warm welcome when hatred is what we cultivate?

Egoli, our heart of gold worn superficially on our teeth
A pretentious smile to hide a forked tongue in the mouth
Poisonous is what our jealous face has now become infamous
Our generous flag up in flames to show the world our true colours

The Beloved Romote

MY BELOVED REMOTE

I sat om my remote unit after a tiresome day at work
so tired was i that i let myself go and it broke into two

i am spying our receptionist TD remote with much envy
just lying there on the reception desk no one catering it

remotes very strange gadgets only superficially understood
small but very powerful just watch a man fiddle the gadget

you will realize its a symbol of power an status in social setup
i broke mine humbly i suffer the indignity of a manual system

i have to leave the warmth of my couch blanket and tap loved tv..
the few pitiful buttons are now supposed to substitute my "gadget"

its a gadget of technology whose worth few appreciate till broken
suffering humiliation of punching the four buttons on actual tv set

they have now gone digital migration and a tvs menus reads as thou
its the encyclopedia Britannic we need tutor-age to decipher manual

that's why i keep eyeing TD remote for you never know the day that
i will need a replacement seeing that market is flooded with imitations

the orient guys are flooding the market with cheap fake imitations
driving the lovely gadget to a low life expectancy it suffereth in silence

i love my gadgets and the remote guarding them jealously for loss is grief
to them lazy bones claiming fatigue now being tortured to leave warm 'duve'

Meadow Mind

MEADOW MIND

Just as surely
My mind is also a meadow
Choked with out-of-control
Wild creations
And filled deep with ******** in places
May seem attractive to another’s eyes
Superficially inviting
But difficult and impractical
To live in

Sociopath Part 1

You don't see me
As a woman
You only see me
As your prey
Your next meal
Seeking to devour me
With your razor sharp fangs
Superficially charming
But, I see through your facade
Your smoke and mirrors
Aren't fooling me
Salivating at the
Thought of making
Me your next victim
You feel Carnal desires
Burning inside you
Swelling up like
A tidal wave
Trying to make this
Surfer catch a ride
On your cryptic sailboat
In your sea of
Sacrificial lambs

Cruel deception
Pretty lies
Cool as an
Autumn breeze
With every single
Act of prevarication
That you commit
Shakespearean performances
In your presence
Acting out so many
Histrionic displays
Of drama to seduce
The gullible souls
Who want to understand you
So that you can exsert
Your dyspotic control
Over their lives
Enslaving them
Your narcissism
Prevents you from
Understanding the
Tears they cry
Because of your wrath

Monotone voice
No accentuation
No emphasis can
Be heard because
You don't mean
The words that
Leave your lips
A poker face
Lacking grace
Devoid of sincerity
Communication only
A tool to manipulate

You

You
just I met
and gazed into
Your
exquisite eyes shining as
brilliantly as the moonlight
casting its delicate reflection across
the steel gray waters of the deepest sea
and
of the darkest night.
You
I saw standing there
waiting patiently for me
Your
smile is the source of my
contentment
as radiant as the glowing stars in a cloudless night
reaching out to caress my face so sweetly
sultry enough to dissipate
my every objection and rejection of
You
being carelessly near to me
plummeting so deep into some
thing that may be beyond what love is
or can ever be
could I bear to let go of my rationality to embark into
this vast passion beside
You
that superficially consumes entirely and spews out
remnants of me?

How To Repair the Breach

In order to repair the breach we must finally concede
that there's a disconnection from God that we must address by deed
for as naked as Adam and Eve were when they tried to hide from their sins
we need to take a long hard look inside ourselves once again
In the sight of God we're all covered with sin like dirt on clothes
we need to reposition ourselves so of our lives God can take control
we must be brutally honest and look within our own hearts
before we can attempt to judge others on ourselves we need to start
by the way we talk, our spiritual walk and the way that we behave
as none of us are sinless let's be more united in order to be saved
put the pettiness aside, throw out the trash, the personal baggage and issues
those titles, the positions, the ranks
and prejudices that have us divided and confused

In order to repair the breach we must do a true self examination
remove the weight of sin from our hearts to be cleansed for spiritual preparation
to spend less time on those things that are not of God
to spend more time reading His Word and then taking It to heart
no longer to feel disconnected in our relationship with Jesus Christ
removing the plank from our own eyes in order to see the true joy in life
the joy of the Lord that gives us the comfort and the strength
that unlimited power supply that will go the entire distance
we must stop being so self-centered and to God open our minds
by disarming the enemy's influence and embracing God's Kind
to be there for each other more than superficially
to care and love one another more authentically
to recognize that Jezebel spirit so consumed with power and material wealth
to reveal and then rebuke it so we can retain our spiritual health
God desires to take us to a place of victory
we just need to stop being our own worst enemy

In order to repair the breach, the joy must be restored
that spiritual contentment that the Holy Spirit affords
so rediscover and reconnect to your Savior Jesus Christ
reestablish your commitment and the covenant of speaking life
forget about the trials and tribulations that God said He'd take care of
trust in Him to provide and then bask in His unconditional love
to have true gladness and the grace of God now within your reach
your connection with God has restored the joy and thus repaired the breach

To Collect

Seasons pass as tendencies fall
Tripping over laws that order societal resolve
A laughing matter not for the victims assailants never caught
Consuming thoughts processed opposite happy holidays

Timely reminders of days with doubt of faith
Following what remnants of personality are left
In remembrance to the passing of a seasons embrace
Changing of tides gradual yearly overflow

Floating precariously upon the viscous layer that is ground level
Humid are the days within this worlds corrupted bubble
Popped superficially the seams of jeans without repair
Airy and light the right direction for health is to share

Open up the closed door that bridges only hope
That shines us through the night filled days
Trials our tasks that drift us to part different ways
As the tearing of our eyes judge loosing growth

Never giving up knowledge in search of what is to be believed
Minds expanses with infinite possibilities wants needs to reach
To gain the sponge of absorption an advantage rarely sought
Fill to leak what we read sharing the truth that speaks with free thought

A literal fantasy that unravels all destinies
Untied are the shoes that do trip over no thing
Imaginary is the divide that conquers our mind
Faced with a message to seek ourselves and find

The laughter designed to wrap us in figurative speech
Leeching opinion outward most personal belief
Revolting awareness currents honest denial
The waste collected to be filed in the system since a child

The World Is Weeping

The world is weeping, can you hear it?

For the first child whose innocence we stole, for the first tree we cut, for the first soul we omitted..the earth wept......faint.....distant...unimportant

As a writer I know many words.....but none of which grasp the horror I feel towards the human condition, none of which can convey the pain we have subjected ourselves and our planet

The world is weeping, can you hear it?

Love is a word we created to spite ourselves, to contradict the evident, for it truly is the one thing we cannot fully assimilate as a species.
We claim we know how to love, we claim we know the intricacies of freedom and yet there is not one night where the billions of souls inhabiting our world are not faced with the atrocities of pain, hatred, loneliness, and self disgust

We have now created a world where it is common understanding that “To Live” is to be conflicted with eternal pain

How many children must we mess up? How many souls do we intend to damn? How loud must the earth weep, our people bleed, and the planet die before the human race understands that we fear losing a “humanity” we never had. That in order to free ourselves of this eternal damnation we must truly, and not superficially, understand what the words pain, love, and understanding entail.
