THE MALT SHOP

I would wager every school has a no-touch clan -
Four or five debs who really know how to play
And they share company only with those coolest
      studs of the day

Money, looks and politics are basic to the royal
      suiting up
One must look just so, act just so and appear only
      at just so places
Well? do they appear at the malt shop?
Oh, no – none will see those faces
It’s just so too common for them to show

So? Where did I fit in?
I didn’t – to dances didn’t go
Didn’t know how to smile just so
Didn’t kiss VIP bottoms, you know

I used to pass the noisy place and shake my head –
Such a waste of time, such decadence, values dead
And did I, mister well read, want to go
      to the malt shop,
Smile, laugh, flirt with the girls?
Damn right I did!

Premium Member Awaking From Silence

There is a language barrier being created
adopted and fostered by social media
controlling certain dialect from surfacing
kept down with bad manners treasonous acts with character
Governing bodies has signed the soul of democracy away
to address another human life form rubbished neologism
Firstly a status of hate filled pride needs to be brought into account here
to alter facts and grammar suiting a wicked agenda correction
This has no value when examined for what's right and just
silence is no longer a tool of the innocent party
when powered to speak with lawful manners
from the wool of a Lamb knitted into a soul
the Lion will roar within this arena
Words are enslaved put in chains by bigots
backwards justice in the end will fail terribly
because the finger and pulse will always point out
The truth from deep within a person's heart

Silence Not Just Opposite of Voice

Silence not just opposite of voice
More of ear turning deaf to outside noise

Close ears to outside din
And hear subtle murmur within

Listen Heart beats in rhythm and rhyme
No music composer can beat the music divine

Listening same beats for sometime
Makes one slip in meditation anytime

One drops BODY then MIND falls
Weightless, thoughtless Light one feels

Slip one may in trance
Levitation one may experience

Eternal Bliss engulfing
As if in Heaven surfing

Longevity of blissful state, on practice depends
Veteran or amateur, sooner or later it ends

Silence ruptures, clamour overtakes whisper
Bliss vanishes, pang emerges

One day sound fails to impact hearing sense
That is when one is laid into permanent Silence

Silence of graveyard not just opposite of cry in maternity ward
More of listening to death than speaking of life as trump card

Silence not just opposite of voice
More of dropping body dead, aligning life suiting soul's choice

My Life Is Like a Movie

My life is like a movie
well in my eyes I can truly be the ruling
I'm the doozy, Uzi shooting through the rooting
super-computing, fusing routine, never will use these
suiting every few, cleverly blue
see who? me looting every noose
I'm severing, choose to openly rue the recipe soon
why? I earned what worth my brain stirred
the curse, the pain hurts
the search for lame burns
they burst away first
in vein, I lay crazed, when I say hey
I feel they may make fate, destiny a gate
to make way for the day, decay great
face hate to be ate, ached, eight by eight shamed, by the rain saint
pourin' poorness upon the fortune
forced to force feed forty four before we orbit coarsely
im boarding, morphing for these unholy moly forces
I'm holding royal loyalty, I fully see the rhyme dulling
coldly spine showing time, breakin' like folding my soul in nine
for the care of sharing the fire for the fight
in the focus on the light when I write it right, just get excited

Wesley's Horse

The little creature knew the roads.
From town to town his Friend
Would seek a fitting gathering space
To focus on life’s end.
No burden he, and speaking much
To Someone Fatherly
Then speaking to assembled crowds
Pressed close that they might see.
And some would laugh with rude disdain
And some would nod assent
And some would cry out for relief
As Friend would urge “Repent”.
The creature tethered to one side
Heard thoughts rehearsed in mid-day’s ride
But now with pressing tears.
And folk came forward to the man
Imploring more of Jesus’ Plan.
Been like that now for years.
A horse would think a paddock green
A suiting place for rest
But paths of love, with Friend above
Had suited this horse best.

Queen of Sky

blessed with yellow beak
a dark colored queen parade
in sweet scents of life

jealousy soaks mates
as her white neck bracelet
seduce surrounding

at the peeps of dawn
she sings suiting serenade
to her nesting kids

she flies and perches
beneath duty-poised sunshine
hunting for her kids

while at cold-veiled nights
she wing-secures her sweet kids
as silent murmurs

I'M a Dream Chaser

I'm a dream chaser chasing
After my dreams for the risen King.

I'm running after my dreams,
At full speed like a water stream.
Not backing down from another fight
In fact I'm getting ready to take flight.
My bags are packed and on board,
I'm ready to soar with Captain Jesus at the core.

I'm dreaming big and running full of power like a cell tower.
I'm dedicated and standing in faith,
That God's vision for my life,
Will be displayed by him in every way.

I'm called to be great call me "Nate the Great"
And I know I make a lot of mistakes and that's okay.
I know I will overcome,
Defeat every obstacle that comes towards me.
I'm determined to be the best me that I'm called to be,
God's got the victory and he lives inside of me.

Ready, set, go
I'm coming to face my fears and run my race.
Brace yourself I'm breaking down the Great Wall
And watching the bricks vibrate and shake,
Like an earthquake as they fall like the New Year's ball.

I'm a dream chaser chasing
After my dreams for the risen King.

It's time for me to break free
And live my dream at the count of three.
I'm relentlessly spreading your empire,
Like a wildfire.
Breaking down my barriers
Like the walls of Jericho.

Not waiting around the battlefield in fear anymore.
Where are all my Soldiers? Suiting up for combat?
I'm not just a conqueror,
I'm also a mighty warrior;
I refuse to lose sight of my victory.

After the fight I'm part of a team that's got my back,
Through every crack on the track.
Over the hills, and through the valleys,
Even in the most crowded alleys;
God's angels are by my side
Flying high in the sky.

I'm living from within
A new day is getting ready to begin.
I'm taking my place next to the King.
Unashamed to proclaim
That I'm living for the one who forever reigns.

I'm free forever in the savior's name
And my life will never be the same.
I've received a revelation
And no matter the situation,
I'm going after the dream
That will change a generation.
I won't stop until I reach the entire nation.

I'm a dream chaser chasing
After my dreams for the risen King.

No matter the situation,
I'm going after the dream
That will change a generation.
I won't stop until I reach the entire nation.

I'm a dream chaser chasing
After my dreams for the risen King.

The Wings of a Dove

The way you speak,
The way you smile,
Makes my emotions leak;
For a while.
The intensity of our glances,
Always influence my heart to do prances.
Your caressing words,
Influencing the birds,
That fly in the sky,
Where truancy lies.
The dominate passion,
Suiting your fashion.
Surrounding our love,
With the wings of a dove.

Spy Versus Spy Versus Spy

If looks and money are what your about
your not getting very far with me
If you believe we use sattelites in space to watch television
you have to be kidding me

One happy victom
center of attention of the brand new dance
teaching his mentors the set up
and allowing them to practice
unbeknownst to the hardcore satanists
we have been watching them all along
practicing our own genre of miracle play
and plotting to trump the hole in their plot

Now they believe in magic
as the media strings them along
i am soo easy to get to
since i am the blind leading the blind
practicing the perfect act
to get away with the perfect crime
this is the leash around your neck
and suddenly it has become mine

Center stage of a plot
where they carry out the joke of me
never understanding my subtle warnings
never fully knowing
there is a hole in the plan
for the world does not revolve around you
and your twisted desires
we did what was right
and will continue to fight fire with fire
Act 1 scene 1 practice makes perfect
act 1 scene 2 an act of our own
act 1 scene 3 deadlocked and now you know

The life around me, fitting me like a glove
a practiced routine
waiting to be noticed so we can play our trump
Spy versus spy versus spy
and in the middle the blind leading the blind
the story of a century you cant afford not to pay attention to
but miss out on it all the time

We told you it was a group effort
to do your bidding mr. powerful renegade
this choke chain around my neck should remind you something
something we have in common
but you didn't know i was refraining from pulling the chain
it's getting harder to breath this unbreathable air
it's getting more difficult to handle the constant lies and drama
I will be fine
just pull this chain
choke you back
we will switch shoes
and welcome to my cult classic

Spy versus spy versus spy
soo many people playing yet too many oblivious for their own good
i could keep this up for your best interest
but thats not suiting me anymore
so we watch you practice your routine
wait for the hole in your plan
and prove it
we are deadlocked
deadlocked
no way out for all involved
I step to the side
you get whats coming to you
i get to move on

Just Don'T Leave Without Me

Pardon my heavy pace,
Heavy as I may seem.
Indecisive as i maybe,
I am working towards thee.

To that far left corner
I must move this piece of furniture.
And this one to right corner
No, Im throwing it out the aperture!

That reaction was not proper.
I need to repent instantly.
This right doing, is not proper.
Isn't there a manner much suiting?

Heavy as I may seem,
I am working towards you.
Indecident I might seem,
Leaving with you is my ambition.

You are gentle.
With David you were.
You branded him your own.
The man after your own heart.

For furniture i care not.
Neither for silver nor gold.
I booked a seat in your boat.
Just don't leave without me.

This Road To Victory

On This road
See I not myself
Rubbles broken
And walk on the kneels
I might have do

On This road
Skulls of yesterday starters
On the valley of decisive wars
Where the fainting
Has become lame

On This road
Where lions roar
Snakes hushing
The ground full of scorpions
No way ahead one thinks

On This road
Others once thread
But suiting and less dangerous
When all should have crossed
Yet only few scaled through

On This road
I cannot walk with opened eyes
It is a journey of the blind
I just need more courage
On this road to victory

Pendulum of Time and Space

Swinging on a pendulum in some random place moves people; like me.
Clocks in general are quite the intricate workings.
Telling time must be of up most importance as much time spent on the making of itself.
Time making time that swings upon a pendulum of wisdom comparable with life and life in itself is beyond mysterious.

I stand in a place at times.
I swing at places sometimes.
I may be—at times—a pendulum.
I am life—as wisdom is not always to be wise—
I am like a pendulum that is like life and displays wisdom when it swings that fuel life and also death.

Back and forth we repeat our own ancestors actions as we ignore the advice we are unmistakably gifted.
Books upon books have the answers.
Person after person ignore these books and make up they're own answers.

Lies
Truths
Where lies truth?
Truth lay upon the heart of ignorance.
Lies lay atop the trampled grasses of egotistical pride.

Thoughts matter.
All of them.
Thoughts shape our actions.
Think about your own thoughts.
For me, at first, it was unreal.
My thinking wasn't the good guy..."He's a good guy"...they'd say.
Well, my thoughts would beg to differ.

Judgment
Good
Or
Bad

It's going to happen.
By us all...

The very ground we walk upon is judged.
Judgment is in our brains.
This ability to judge is a blessing.
Choice is freely given to you.
I decide to choose what's best suiting for me.

Me
Me
Me

You
You
You

Both are incorrect . . .

This place we live in together is called Earth.
This life we are so lucky to live is shared and not our own.
This pendulum of time is just a metaphor instructing us to keep pressing on and moving forward.

You
Me

The answer is us and is we—Having a time, together in one place, fixated on a pendulum.

Get Off My Back

Washing and drying
Folding and clothing
Scooping and dumping
Hustling and bustling.

I follow my routine
Each tuesday, thursday and friday
Getting all the chores done
On rare occassion one is saved for tomorrow.

Yet, your never satisfied
You try to throw off my pattern
Adding new things that don't swing
While you make empty threats
That I ain't buying.

You may bark all you want,
But you don't got the bite
Even when you put on a mean face
Trying to make everyone bow before you
Just because you think your the boss.

Then you tell me "Wait until you land a job"
"Just see how hard that'll be"
That's only your opinion
Because your work is full of idiots.

So don't push your beliefs on me
You may be experienced
Yet when it comes to jobs
You don't understand
That all jobs differ.

I'm doing my best
Just like the rest
To find work out there
That's right for me.

As long as I'm happy
Relating to my field
Suiting to my skills
An environment that's just right
Then I've found the ideal job.

I love to relax and have fun,
Pausing the fun button
To get the job done
Then get back to bliss.

I know the time
Check off the chores
On the list in my mind
I get it all done.

Helping you out
Groceries and tasks
I get them done
Multitasking everything
To balance work and pleasure.

You see negatives in life
While I see positives
Think I don't use my head
I use it more than you know.

You see the grass as gray
I see the grass as greener
You see the glass as half empty
I see the glass as half full.

I Rapunzel, You Gothel
Your wrong about me,
Your wrong about people,
Your wrong about jobs.

Learn to loosen up,
Accept the things in life,
Be more appreciative of the people
That surround you that care.

Smash your negativity
With the hammer of positivity
Because I won't put up with it
So just get off my back.

Twisted

You were born to be a filigreed crown
to soar like the swift never touch ground
but they gave you labels suiting their thought
words sharpened like knives in which you were caught

Spoken words in unisons cacophony
untouchable not decent not fit for family
oh the old wounds and their residual pain
I just want to see you soaring again

The others hated you without any word
their actions spoke louder than expressions heard
unworthy to speak to or even be seen
to be hidden from others aspersions as mean

How on earth could you possibly shine
when you felt their ridicule locked forever in time
I watched you dry up before my own eyes
in the heat of the ire the flame of despised

Like an animal branded wearing its mark
cast out like our Lord flung from the park
on rocks were you broken too limp to hold
to crawl and to cower where reception is cold

The unthinking know not the powers of word
wrestle not with ideas conceptions they've learned
who never consider that our mouths are the flame
that torture the sensitive stab them with pain

How long does it take for a heart to die
too scarred to ask questions or the wondering why
a planet of suffering the agony of breath
like those barely living and too slow is death

Where you can hold stars and dance in the day
to sing of life's joy partake in its sway
be moved by its chords like crescendo of song
to be not cast down like everything's wrong

The scar like a keloid to thick to peel
weather beaten hard shielded like steel
Walls like a fortress the place you reside
away from misfortune the dark place you hide

Listen my Love my words are for you
I know where you shine I've seen them accrue
If I thoughtless hurt you please let me know
I'm only a student molded like dough

Break out beloved create something new
polish your character bid cruelty adieu
set your sights high seek always insight
let love be your leader in words that delight

Premium Member A Hunger Unfed

“Inspired by a Native American Legend using a story of
‘hunger unfed’ as a metaphor for inner conflict.” ~~~ The Poet.~~~

"The Grandfather spoke in a gentle voice, calm and clear,
As he described to her, the two beasts without fear.

The first beast you have inside you my darling child,
This animal is sullen and untamed, a persona that is wild.

It's a bold animal, who exist alone and ignores other’s feelings.
It goes about, suiting itself and choosing its own dealings.

It is strong and defiant and never does what it’s told to do.
It fights with the other beast that also lurks inside you.

The second animal is calm and pure, and does as it should.
It will obey you and choose to do what is right and good.

Its desire is to protect you and look after you all day long.
This animal has a righteous nature, although it is strong.

It will be loyal as it’s a passive beast with a side that’s meek.
These two fight each other, as to live within you they both seek.

Both hunger, as they are unfed, the winner is important indeed."
"Which one will win Grandfather?" "Child it will be the one you feed."
