Best Stealing Poems
Would you steal an oil painting from someone’s wall?
Would you steal cultivated flowers from someone’s garden?
Would you steal an author’s great novel?
Would you steal quilts made by someone’s grandmother?
Would you steal pottery from a gallery?
Would you steal artwork displayed by artists?
Why would you steal someone else’s creativity to claim as your own?
Plagiarism is stealing someone else’s heart felt emotions put into words, someone else’s creativity.
Stealing is stealing, it’s not yours and it’s a crime!
The elegance of a duck gliding over the still pond....poetry in motion.
Down here the serenity of this afternoon of May
suddenly shattered by a busy kingfisher,
it swoops down to water for day's last prey
sending ripples in the still pond water
and then vanishes in the hushness of dying day.
The Spring comes alive
as a cuckoo starts singing
last song of the day,
its beseeching tone echoes
in my mind and in nature.
Wings of migratory birds in sky
stealing Sundrops for a new dawn.

We accept the GREAT Grace of Jesus, works of pure love
So we get eternity and so much else
Does it mean we defend those who steal and hurt others
again and again and again and again (only westerners)
When we suspect Syria used chemical weapons, we do not wait
We bomb the same day (in whose Name? Hubris, not Jesus)
So, let us help other nations prosper, reduce emigrants
And we will not have to return precious artefacts, pay millions in fines
And have courts tell us, "Don't separate refugee children from Moms"
Because we are forgiven much, given much (USA!) and need reminding:
Don't turn refugees as you did Jews in the 1940s from these shores
Or intern Japanese Americans because we went to war against Germany
(But preferred to turn yellow when race matters impinge on humanity)
Race matters .... yes, race matters: even in forgiving, it seems
No, to the question as title to this poem: Let's get real, kinder. Kinda ...
Hues of a darker shade, cascading across skies of illusion....
Evaporating waterfalls, of lustful desires and want
Brought forth amid fairytale words, from within fantastical thoughts
And I thought, shall I sell my soul, for their very own, desperate and lost?
I would rather smile at the stars, and, walk away from it all!
Then to ensnare myself within satans lies and delusions....
Of disappearing phantasms, that shall never see the light
Beyond these shadows of alluring and enticing, beguile
Cloaked in the dripping blood, red, of eternal fate
How precious and colorful, vibrant the flower seems to grow....
Before the desperate eyes, cast, into the darkness' chambers
As it whispers its soothing, and wistfully wanton assurances?
While sprinkling its fabricated moondust, upon these emptying souls....
Walking through this mystic wonderland of waste
Wherein shadows beckon and call, dangling their dreams of desirable
Treasures and promises, that their blackened hands, could never truly hold
Except, in these fantasies of tomorrows nothingness....
While singing these songs of hopeful yearnings, that they, shall never know!
Perishing, within the firey flames, that engulf, their abrasive sight
As pretending to be more, than satans very own, offspring
Stealing lives and shattering souls, with lovely portraits that sound
So ambitiously sweet, until, reality comes, to carry them forever away....
Not upon spectacular prisms of golden rainbows, or endless oceans, of emerald blue tides
Nor, glittering cosmic trails of stardust, which encircle, their gasping final breaths!
But within rushing rivers of sorrows crimson, cold....
Trading their eternal paradise, for a fairytales devisable fantasy, sold
To a ghost of sugar laced words, spoken, enticingly, from the tombs of a corpse
Pretty thoughts and pretty things, created, by the prince of hell, himself!

....Stealing Souls....
Time goes by but the pain is the same
lonely nights I call out your name
I lose sleep, toss and turn
to hold you tight I forever yearn
If life were easy if life were fair
I'ld be holding you each night my dear
Your in my dreams and on my mind
I'll make it up to you by stealing time
Stealing time for our love won't die
an eternity for us won't be denied
For each moment lost I'll give you two
Stealing time to be forever with you
Heaven and hell and the earth between
I'll find you on the winds of wings
Don't cry for me be strong and believe
cherish the time we shall forever be
Stealing time for our love won't die
an eternity for us won't be denied
For each moment lost I'll give you two
Stealing time to be forever with you
Stealing from the bribe treasury
of those that fight bribery
to my bank account overseas
for stealing is not corruption
That money is ours
stole from our resources
that is hidden overseas
for stealing is not corruption
Ohh, arise o-compatriot
to served our heros past
for stealing is not corruption
so peace and unity
Stealing Peas
all summer, warm-hot and lazy,
the garden grew taller, so much taller
than me. wondered where it came from
all that green life.
I helped papa plant the seeds
my finger deep into the brown
cool soil it smelled like safety,
home. it tasted like strength.
seeds are so tiny how does it fit?
but no matter, good things were
appearing all over the plot
tomatoes so red and bursting
the beginnings of corn cobs
beans, green ones, yellow ones
and peas oh… fat and
round and sweet, irresistible.
I hid behind stalks and vines
and stuffed my face with glorious peas
filling my pockets, with the empty shells,
for later,
hidden inside the compost heap.
A memory I'll NEVER forget, by crikey
Jackie stealing home, my hero almighty
Eleven at the time
Baseball's ultimate crime
Forever and always etched in my psyche
(With the old Montreal Royals of the International League in 1946)
It's not love,
But I'm good at pretending.
Only stealing a bit, still the guilt
Would consume me if I could feel, so
Grateful I'm only alive for tonight,
He's mine for tonight.
Every one is a liar, no matter how
Nice they seem,
She need never know, and
So what if she does?
Would hate myself but
This isn't me, and
I need it more than anyone could.
Hours later, he's got his, this is the part,
Here comes my rush, only lasts the night but
Right now, I'm being held.
I'm warm.
I'm safe.
I am alive.
Blissfully shut out logical thought and leave
The feeling I am loved.
Morning. I am numb once more, and
On my own. He is gone.
I don't feel a thing.
'Til next time I need my fix,
No shame will stop me, I'll keep
Stealing love from whoever is
Willing to lie this week.
Fact is, when nobody will give,
Beggars have to steal to live.
I took ten dollars
From my mothers purse
As a child
To buy lollies
And the like
There was lots
Of money in that purse
A few days later
At the dinner table
My parents discussed
Where that ten
Might have gone
They had all kinds
Of theories but
Never blamed us kids
That gnawed at my
Conscience
I never owned up
But never stole
Again.
it starts off slow...slight breeze like a whisper
like burnt toast in a crisper
one black cloud in the sky but i can't see the silver lining...eclipsing the sun
gettin lost in the living while i get drunk with the dead
now my mind starts to bend
s.o.s. now i'm sending to falsified gods...now i worship pollution in poisonous ponds
by villians and vixons i'm gettin robbed
now i'm the fool of the village...plundered and pillaged
one more drink the devil keeps dealing...
sad soul that he's stealing
my heart beats hard like a wardrum banging
love, life, and innocence...now from death trees hanging
singing and swinging and pounding sweating fists against the wall
bricks start to break as i can hear chaos make its long distance call
cracked and crumbled and exposed to evil
now i stagger and i stumble while the gruesome and the gory start to growl and grumble
now i'm set on fire and i'm turning into flames
no health no healing...
sad soul that he's stealing
another drink and another drug...another wind up toy turns into a twisted thug
diamonds turn into dust
truth turns into lies and trust turns into rust
saints turn into sinners and winners they weep
demons creep where angels sleep
never say never...from the largest to the least
on legacies of lunacy i keep leaning...
sad soul that he's stealing
You're a life saver
and I'm a jolly rancher in the ash tray,
too bitter for your lips
but sweet enough to keep.
Stealing Oxygen
with seduction, i quail to touch
n' play, sensually displaying
your body, vividly distinctively,
cross examines the moisture of
my lips, stealing oxygen,
deeply under hypnotized vision,
I dare not awake, the passage
of my drug, for it is the love
that ponders our souls, so tru
n' rare, through my veins, to
never lose it...pumping through
your veins I charge...in and out
you heart by large...at times
slipping into
ventricle...dispensing oxygen
from lungs...collateral artery
slit this time, love splattered
spectacle...making me feel
impeccable...

I'll put a spell on you
And you'll know it when I do
You'll see my face wherever you go
I'll always be in the know
If you do drugs
You can forget hugs
When you're tempted to steal
You won't get a meal
And if you get drunk
I'll turn you into a skunk
And if you can turn yourself back
I'll give you my hand to smack!

reaching yet not holding, being and touching without a feeling
upon the folding seas, in fleeting flickers and with fingers short
or very long, I appear regularly in movies and am sung of in many
songs, by me are colours altered as I fall upon the world without
a sound, and when Ii stand.! on grass earth or sand, it is for none
to bid me no! or move me from my ground, at other times when I
arrive I will take up a good half of everything that goes right round,
yet as it was i the days of yore, and as it will be in the coming days
galore, when you search me will nothing be found!
