Best Sprinkling Poems
all my beloved glance from stars above
like candles that twinkle in the night sky
and in my dappled dreams they see me weeping
so, they sprinkle twinkling magical STARDUST~
silently from ethereal clusters
and I gather each enchanted piece within my h e a r t _

a sprinkling of spring
red buds blossom through nude trees...
spring weeds dress the earth
That blurry mirage of sizzling heat
As the trucks passed by, steam rose from concrete
Irvington couldn’t build a swimming pool
But came up with a way to keep kids cool
How I begged my mother to make the walk
For three hours of laughs and silly talk
At noon kids gathered in a cement pit
Sprinklers turned on, we enjoyed each minute
Refreshed, we passed beach balls or we played tag
But mostly we just ran a jig-and-jag
The park had swings, slides and arts and crafts too
But at sprinkler time, none of these would do
In the years before air conditioning
Torrid rays of sun we kids were shunning
Inner city children escaping heat
This was our favorite summer retreat
Moms, kids in swimsuits till showers ended
Ice pops passed out to the towel-tended
On weekends Dad drove us to the seashore
But sprinkler days with Mom I remember more

Ghostlike droplets, falling fast
Pouring streams of God’s sentimental
Remembering music from the past
Caressing each dream so soft and gentle
Raining grief, restoring moon and stars
Secrets uncovered by the midnight song
Heartache revealed, stories in glass jars
Kindling the music who chants all night long
Glorious prayers whispered to the night
Praising the One who brought hope to abide
His love is a love that can make everything right
He offers me wisdom so I’ll abolish all pride
Showers drizzle through my heart, soul and mind
Leaving me a still that feels beautiful and true
He offers me hope that His grace has defined
As the reason for this story that makes all things new
Ethereal songs pour across the mountains so blue
Hesitating in the pines to remind us He gave us One
A Son who writes the wonder into every breakthrough
Jesus, the light who decides if we’ll one day hear “well done”.
When the rain stops falling and the sun pours out its beauty
I rise to see the kindness of a lingering still who blesses me
The Presence of His grace tells me that my only duty…
Is to love without conditions, to offer love that is completely free.
Listen to the old, old story of One who writes the prayers
On the heart who believes He is the gentle in the air
Remember to hear His words, sometimes written in tears
He will never leave or forsake and His love is beyond compare!
her gentle raindrops
sprinkling yellow tulips
welcome in april
She wears a pale gossamer gown,
aglow with a sprinkling of stardust,
the moon dances with the sea tonight.
He waltzes with her shimmering reflection
in a romantic rhythm that ebbs and flows
until dawn when they whisper, "Farewell."

sprinkling of snowfall
blankets the hardy crocus
winter's last chuckle
AP: 2nd place 2025
Rain sprinkled on my forehead.
She sprinkled on my nose.
She sprinkled off my freckles.
And went other places sprinkle goes.
Rain dripped past my armpits
She dribbled down my belly.
She oozed past my knees.
Sliding past breakfast jelly.
Rain pooled in my crevices,
Luckily I did not mind being wet.
Sprinkling kind of revs me up
You would know that if we’ve met.
Have a day that's full of cheer
I'm sending love to show I care
Pass it on to someone else
Dont keep it all to yourself
Spread some happiness around
Through the lands and through the towns
Don't be stingy let's others see
By using some pleasantry
You can show how to release
Lots of kindness care and peace
I challenge you to take this dare
Sprinkling joyness everywhere
