Farewell To Mr Spock

The world today must mourn the loss
Of a soul that touched generations across.
This man who changed how we looked at space,
And was associated with the Vulcan race
For where he traveled friends were made,
Hearts touched by grace and the love he gave.
And when departing he'd raise one hand,
Give split Vulcan sign from their planet grand.
With just four words, “Live long and prosper,”
Good will prevailed and hope was fostered.
What Hollywood started five decades ago,
He made much more as new fans showed.
Everyone esteemed those pointed ears,
Wherever he went throughout the years.
With Kirk, McCoy, and Scotty too,
This team of friends endured so true.
Folks loved to watch him face harsh foes,
Armed with his logic head to toes.
How often it had saved the day,
If mankind just followed his ways.
But now he's left this planet to see,
And boldly meet his destiny.
For Leonard Nimoy was his name,
Eternally honored now rests his frame.
Yet if by chance there's another race
We find one day in outer space,
All we've learned from “Mr.Spock”
About logic should help us a lot!
But more than that we must confess
His human side taught us the best.

For Spock

I wish they could live
forever, but that can't be,
my childhood heroes.

RIP Leonard Nimoy. Live Long (in our memories) and Prosper.

more emotions
may cloud our logic
where are you Mister Spock?

Mr Spock Smells Something Good

When trying to understand women
Mr. Spock is my role model
An eyebrow raised in curiosity
Just waiting to hear something illogical (i choose poorly with women :)

But even Mr. Spock
Sometimes gets a wild hair
Like that time he breathed those spores
Then smelling something else in the air

His hair as black as coal
His blue shirt calmly reassuring
But there was definitely something odd
About the way his ears were pointing

Casting aside the advice of friends
Letting a flower’s scent cock his head
But when he started acting like Tom Jones
It caused a state of dread

Fist pumps into the air
Busting a move to ‘Lady’s Night’
Even a hound like Kirk was appalled
When Spock thought he was Napoleon Dynamite

Say What?

As electrifying as a disco ball
Churning lights, sparkling gems
Like Marty Feldman on happy pills
Blurting out, “I’m in LOOOVE, Jim!!!”

So if a sweet smell hits my nose
I’ll remember I’m emotionally impaired
“A man has got to know his limitations”
And next time I’ll take a cold shower

A tribute to Tommy, Son of Spock, he might get on some of Souper's nerves with his bantering , but he really is very charming and compassionate.

Mister Spock Gets Angry

Mister Spock Gets Angry

By Elton Camp

(Please don’t read unless you are familiar with the original Star Trek)

Spock has his emotions in control
But occasionally loses it, I’m told

The greeting he usually will say
Won’t come out the same way

To a person who brings him strife
He doesn’t wish to have a long life

Likewise, for him to prosper well
An angry Spock isn’t going to tell

He fails to follow Vulcan creed
To his human half, he’ll give heed

With these words he will assail
“Life briefly and fail”

Mister Spock For President

Mister Spock for President

By Elton Camp

As a Vulcan, he cannot tell a lie
No matter how hard he may try

Logic drives his every decision
So he cannot be put in derision

“Live long and prosper,” he’ll say
Who’d want it to be any other way

Any emotions he can put aside
So his true intentions he can hide

It’s years between needing sex
So no mistress his term can hex

With ears pointed just like Satan
To anger him, others will be hatin’

If his enemies should have bad to say
He can easily have them beamed away

Like Captain Kirk On His Way To Meet Spock

I got this rap rock while the hoochie on my sock
Drop
I got eyes to see & ears to here
I shed a single tear to help numb the inner pain
Goochie hand bag for my favorite lady
Got to keep it clean like Scoobie Doo
I bit off more then more then I could chew
Hook :
that's how I roll bust up the tempo
that's how I roll bust up the tempo
eating his favorite fish is his dish
smoking fat blunts with the stereo popping
Star Trek came to us in a fantasy land
a new episode every week
what's good my friend don't need to pretend
think of the blues don't watch the news
stretch forth your arm and point it to the door
Uncle Vince out back in the bar kicking it with a two bit whore
Crack is more then on your Ass
no one in this life gets by on a free pass
a cosmic collision of television
gave me a sought off vision
Captain Kirk on the way to meet Spock I got this rap rock
searching for the latest trend
while sticking it to the man with the plan
yesterday we used to pray yet
today you say it ought not be that way
We got space invaders around us every day
they don't make space shows like that anymore
instead we got Trick Daddy who could be such a bore
years that I hurt for something real
I know nothing is worth me coming back again
rap is an explosion left deep inside
we run away and hide its not a glide
like Snoop Lion we need to be flying onto so much more

Mr Spock

Mr. Spock you are so logical, intelligent and composed a statue of stone so emotionally unsold. Or are you so you think, full of wisdom full of thought do your thoughts betray you, do they Mr. Spock?

Emotionally stunted, always in control uncontrollable passions within your brain so many passions still untold. Your struggle to deny the passion deep inside betrays your enjoyment that life can provide.

Mr. Spock you are so logical, intelligent and composed a statue of stone so emotionally unsold. Do you have wisdom Mr. Spock so intelligent, and controlled do you have wisdom when so much to with hold?

So logical and so stunted you are, indeed Mr. Spock an emotional computer with so many scars…Poetry by Dean

Premium Member My Tribute to Spock

Spock was my surrogate dad as I grew up
My dad was alive but elsewhere
My mind was filled with stars and meeting aliens
I so wanted to be an astronaut once upon a time
I was lucky enough to see Leonard Nimoy
At a symposium during my college years
What an amazing actor!
He's still my mentor, even to this day
See you, Spock, on the otherside one day
(In Search of . . . the next dimension.)

Thank You Dr Spock
