Best Spiritual Being Poems

Premium Member Broken Wings Unsheathed

Resurrections lone fallen spiritual being, kneeling within the darkness of mine
Own tormented soul, broken, fractured at fetters ivory appendages, a flightless
Angelic Dark winged angel standing alone, weeping in the nights blackened clouds of utter blindness, a disarmed shield maiden of heavens grace!
Seeking the lightning storms final thrust of thunders rapture, my burnt scorched
Feathers descend cascading downwards, as melting leaves captured in the
Autumn winds of betrayals flame of the sinful heart, left unsheathed!
Virtue’s innocence lies slain in the battlefield of mercy’s shamed, shattered
Is the core of faith’s fragile child, lost amongst the hailing hurricane,
Battered and bruised, the white dove soars beyond clarity’s grasp!
Biting tears clash against the bare exposed flesh, stinging with malice’s
Hatred, as the face of God shuns this black fleeced lamb, whom broke
The vows promise, and interfered in the world of man!
Banished daughter of the light, unable to capture the winds of flight,
Transcendences none descendant trapped by the loving spirit
Willing to help the mortal being, begging for mercy’s compliance!
Yet shadowed by the dark illusions of the hastening storm of
Ignorance, she shed forgiveness tears on behalf of the unworthy,
For in the night humanities brethren turn away from the hungry,
Homeless, and the lost children that huddle within the darkness!
Thin are the clouds separation, as the storms rage begins to abate
Gods anger grows to the point of understandings loving, the grates
Of heaven casts shafts of grace, weakened by the hailing wake,
The lamb is unable to move amongst the silences eye of the hurricane!
Ever gently is lowered the cradle, the rocking crib of the healing
Miracle set at the flash points ushering of forgiveness, for the Shepard
Has reclaimed that which was lost!
In chorus spiritual assembly a small figure sings with heights
Reverence’s praise, and the master of the divine smiles
Upon this child of light, for her voice shines above all others,
For she is the fallen, now arisen with the wings
Of the outcastes singed!

Premium Member Cause, Regard and Meaning

Pain’s shaped effects pass thru joy’s sieved prep
to map my spirits journey of primary urge to me.
With confidence of honest feel comes the promise
that I am a spiritual being having a human life.

Individuality and authenticity themes, I long sensed,
as two needs to pursue for my eternal accord.
My emotions in every scenario are where I go
to willingly absorb all feel to best aid my soul.
Down, up and sideways my fragile has laid
until the granting of a new emotional day.
Should I ignore challenges and pain,
I would deny my spirit its depth to claim.

With gratitude I roll in blessings and joy,
give thanks for every uplifting mood.
At the start of my memories as feel-kept
is my Father, God, love-strengthening my steps.
God is my cause, regard and my meaning,
but not so religion with its pointed shards.
My faith is one on one in its honed stays
and nature the church I deeply savor.

Living true to the uniqueness of my layers
is reason my Maker gave me distinct flavors.
To witness truth principles in now moments
is my greatest sweetness in earth business.

Premium Member The Journal

In the dusty cobwebs of my inspirational mind,
I’ve written volumes of scripted details, pondered
Epic thoughts, and let mine imagination roam the
Fields of complete abandonment.
A wild child of freedom’s reckless spirit, I’m dived
Head first into the untamed wilderness of the human
Stratosphere, seeking beyond the unknown country
Of the mental unconscious mind, then free fallen into
The waves of insecurity, rescued by mine own self
Sustaining life preserver, called survival.
Line by line I’ve written into my life journal, leaving a
Legacy behind me worth preservation’s finest gilding,
Bound are these pages of mine existence with love,
Tenderness, and freshly cut rose petals, of remembrance.
Reflected in the cover of my life book, are the joyous
Faces of those whom loved me beyond words of
Expressions comprehension, without emotions tears
For they celebrate my life, not with sorrows regrets
But with prides respect and honor.
Through hell’s fire I’ve rambled and traveled, being
Tested by friend and foe alike, but I’ve lifted myself
Beyond the flames of reality, bathing within the warmth
Of a divine faith of loves power everlasting.
I’ve been given the spark of the eternal, it breathes
Within me, it drives my spiritual being, to over come
Ignorance, intolerance and ambience sloth of spirit.
At times I’ve been tempted to dance, against the flame
That flickers in the night, teasing me, taunting me,
To choose wrong or right, but mine feet stood stead
Fast, yielding only in my secret world of dreams escape.
Yes I’ve mused amongst the fantasy realm,
Flying, soaring into the abyss of illusions mirrors,
Clashing as a bird smacking at the glass of reality,
But I’ve awakened wiser, a soldier better prepared
For the battle known as life.
In this journal I bequeath all that is the best of myself,
To those for whom I’ve touched, and in memories moments
Of stilled realization that I’ve gone, dare let no tears blind
Thine vision let no words of sorrow spill from your trembling
Lips just do me the one last favor for which I ask of thee,
Simply look upwards, and smile.

Premium Member Angel Over Quiet Waters

Max painted the blush-blue sky
the nest of grass and teal-still waters.
Bursting from his vibrant paintbrush,
a vision that appropriates the canvas.
His hubris angel halo-crowned,
the see-through wings - yellow, blue,
red and pink clipped by the frame.
The rosy countenance without eyes,
has a felicitous sunset glow.

The spiritual being wears
its huge, red heart like a necklace -
it is surrounded by sunny rays.
Attached to arms and shoulders -
seven buttercream blossoms,
cupped in navy blue.
The angel’s, likely hovering,
over the waters, as it
wears a striped and speckled gown,
no feet in sight.

I would like to call the angel a she,
as she is so dazzling,
but in God’s word, we only meet
Michael and Gabriel
and the devil, Lucifer.

Establishing a possible, he,
with broad shoulders,
beautiful beyond belief,
an arresting figure of peace.

A daily reminder
of the existence of life
beyond our realm,
I’m happy that this bright
and vigilant angel
crystallized on Max’s canvas.

Premium Member Poltergist

It is the unsettling feeling of uneasiness, the unseen
Presence that quickens your pulse rate, are you being
Watched, what lies in the darkened hallows of the
Black shadows?
Why does the whispering wind scream beware, into
My inner ears consciousness, making the blood
Within mine veins run icy cold, light to the touch
Invisible finger tips brush against my bare exposed
Neck, yet no one is there, just the chill in the night’s air.
Then in the hushed silence every sound stops dead,
There is absolutely no breeze, nature seems frozen in
A complete quite stasis freeze of stillness, a rigidity
I’ve never experienced before.
I’m a human statue paralyzed in place, motionless
Just waiting for something to happen, should I
Flee or stay, my mind races with a stood cold’s
Adrenaline's rush, but for God’s sake I’m completely
Unable to move!
What is the definition of reality, as the lights
Flickering, and my four walls of living shelter
Shudder, I’m forced to question sanity vs.
Insanity, thin grows the line of realism!
Dualities cabinet doors swing wide open,
As the plates of life’s routine smash, against
The walls of ethereal existence.
A trickster’s spirit is this wild raw force, of angers
Power unleashed, this poltergeist whom lashes
Out me, from his deadly zones terrorizing abyss.
In fears screaming, I yell what do you want
From me, and It responds in a terrifying
Voice, Get out this is my house!
In a flashes rude awaking, the spell of motionlessness,
Is broken, the captive hostage is released, I’m free
At last to run, and I do so without questioning’s
Reasoning, never to look back, never to challenge
My decision, for it is his house, this poltergeist,
May he dwell in his own living hell forever?
Do you not believe my story, for I care not?
For I’m sound in both mind and of body,
Once a none believer now a born again
Spiritual being, who realizes the other side
Does exist, and it has touched my life
With voracitie's true evil.

Premium Member Tribal Gypsies

His voice is as a still whisper, a hushed sigh
Rippling through the evergreen mountain pines,
A spiritual being calls in native tongue, come unto
Me, my chosen people of the sacred plains.
The drums beat in the setting sun, as the tribes
Join together in one bands march, the Dakota, Shoshoni
And Cherokee, these wondering nomads, of the open plains.
It is time for the great migrational transitioning,
Heeding the great spirits, seasonal warning,
These tribal gypsies, become a unified people, of the vast
United beneath the vast grasslands Prairie.
Instincts driving force urges them ever forward,
Across steeps terrain, and rolling hills, deep canyons
Depths divides, onto the open plains,
For soon the great buffalo will arrive.
To bowl and cup, do they carry all possession
Necessities, leaving behind only Mohicans prints,
In the dust.
Legacy's children play, and run beside the caravan's,
As warriors on horse back, boast of adventures
 Of seasons long ago.
Mile markers of trails woven into the earth itself,
The wilderness wild country lies ahead, in this big
North American Continent, yet undiscovered by
The so called civilized white men.
At night falls rest, a small village emerges, where
Nothing stood sense last years grand journey.
Canvas tents, fill with families warmth and laughter
For freedoms people, live by the great spirits calling.
In ritual dance, do these indigenous tribe give thanks
And praise unto he whom provides substances life,
And liberation’s autonomy.
As the suns rises and dawn approaches, the earth rumbles,
Shaking, beneath the hardened hoof, thy brother the buffalo,
Has come once again, the promise kept, assuring
The tribes winter survival.
Evergreen's pastures, lure these creatures of thunder,
Ancient beasts covering the great plains, as a black
Cloud descending, as if massive locus’s onto
 The flowering fields below.
The hunters rejoice in the abundance set before
Them, the harvest of meat and blessings promise,
Taking only what is needed, wasting nothing,
Yet giving thanks praise for everything.

Dreaming of You

...leaning closer for a kiss
mmmuak, smooches into a happy land
arms wrapping around breathless
echoes of steam engine
shooting out exclamations of amazement
adding zest to the citrus flavor of our spiritual being
I feel indulged in the softness of your voice
as you fine-tuned your love to my frequency
gliding on the same wavelength
spiraling into fireworks of lemon and honey
with each drop falling a sparkle to Mother Earth
landing in harmonious union of two flames entwined
You move your fingers with a crackle and hiss
electrifying my body arching to your touch
a fiery tango under your spell
You make me sizzle in your burning passion
I feel unscathed by the gentleness of your soul
as you embrace all of my imperfections...

Premium Member Who Are You

Who are you!!!

it doesn’t matter as you will be judged
not by who you are
but by the perceptions of “who – they think - you are”.

Oh, I know, you don’t judge - you evaluate
my look, my posture, the tilt of my head
the whiteness of my teeth, the “cut of my jib”

filter all that I say through the detritus
of your mind, your experiences,
your standards of excellence – or fraud.

My background will sway your interpretation
of all I do, or say. “Well, what can you expect
from someone from such meager beginnings?”

Opinions will be tested for malleability,
beliefs will be rubbed against your “touch-stone”
the efficacy of my prayers measured against your icons.

So, all I can tell you is that I – am me – warts and all
a highly evolved spiritual being sailing through life,
seeking the serenity of the sea’s welcome.

I am an instrument guided by the hand of creation
slicing through the crust of fear, softening hardened hearts,
whispering to the wind that “we are at peace”.

If you must ask “Who Are You?” perhaps you may
benefit from gazing into a clear pool, smiling at the reflection,
asking yourself: “Who - Am I?”

Awakened by the Whip-Poor-Will
Then the cooing of the gray Dove
Spring's sun shining _call of Bluegill
The Oak doesn't call though my precious Love

His love's infallibility
Lift's me in times of trouble and strife
Through all predictability
Of His love like tunes of fife

His great reliability
Lifts me in all of life's great storms
For it's sustainability
Keeps my awesome spiritual being warm

Eagle Spirit

Whenever I close my eyes to meditate,
or my soul drifts in the dream world,
an eagle spirit visits me;
it sits on an oak tree branch,
and stares at me as though it's known
me for eons, which it has.
Suddenly it flies straight into my chest,
in form of a white ball of light!
Whenever the eagle spirit flies into me,
I can see the progress of my intuition,
strength, courage and tact. I can see
who I am, without anyone's perceptions.
Just as the way an eagle grows a new beak
and new feathers in pain in the sun,
I weep deep within my soul,
learning and unlearning in cycles
what it means to be a spiritual being,
with a human experience.....

Religious Bigotry

In one spiritual being we do agree
Under varied names we called thee
From different images they were mold
How they came to be varies when told

Religion unites people of same beliefs
Some are powerful enough to sink ships
Some struggle to put their name across
Others use violence to justify their cause

From then on religion has great effects
Confusing people on issues it redirects
Constitutional laws are taken for granted
Religious edicts are usually adopted

Religious bigotry does not make sense
Makes us passive, sexist and subservient
Prohibiting contraceptives and abortion
Spousal divorce and same sex relations

Governments tend to take advantage
Faithful convictions justify wars instead
They allow them to beat, burn and kill wives
An eye for an eye for those who won’t abide

For them there are only male and female
No gays or lesbians can walk heaven’s trail
To have plenty of children is a gift of life
Taking birth control pills is like killing a child

And so backward the world moves
As increase in crime and poverty proves
As wars were launched in aid of religion
People kill to uphold their congregation

The Bible says that the day of reckoning
Is when various sects have started sprouting
If only we can learn to respect each of our beliefs
Discarding religious bigotry will save us from grief.

Premium Member Lightening In a Bottle

Run, jump and frolic with childhood abandonment,
Grab down, that dusty old mason jar, recapture
The lightening in the bottle, of yesteryear’s remembrance.
Refresh one's youthful heart, in the memories evergreen
Pastures called imagination.
In the meadows of human thought, all remain young,
Release thy inner spiritual being, race the wind,
Feel it's liberation, brushing against your face once more.
Time stands still here, within this field of dreams,
The eye of the hurricane is set aside,
Within this lulling of the life's stormy seas,
Reality ceases to exist, in this fairytale never land.
Shed every layers aged texture, be as one reborn,
A kindred reflection of the child of innocence, lying
Within thy inner self.
Relive pleasure's laughter from long ago, when troubles
Were unknown, only glee and happiness lived in our
Realm of true joy.
Let the pain of heartache float away, as bubbles drifting
From the palm of your hands, than popping
 Unto air's nothingness.
Come recapture the lightening within the bottle,
Chasing those glowing ageless memories, and relive
A lighter time in your life, infuse one's youth again,
Entrap that fragile spark, in a glass mason jar,
A delicate tinder box, flickering within all of us,
Whom wish to stay forever young.
Shatter that thin pain between these worlds,
Keep the youthful fire burning, let it shine through,
In all it's brilliance to touch all those surrounding thee,
Enlightening every heart around you, embracing them
And enriching their lives.
Oh what harmonious music lies in a child's laughter,
So free, so liberated, without cares restrictions,
Look into the beautiful eyes of the kindred, and remember.
A time when one chased the fireflies, in a timeless meadow
Of thought, run, jump and frolic with childhood abandonment,
Once more, and feel alive reborn.
