Oh, my name is Witch's Titties
I'm the leader of the band
Tho' only two in numbers
they sag down where life is grand
They swing like gaucho's bolos
	to excite your fancy balls
Can toss 'em o'er my shoulders
to go dancing up the walls

she meets
               her final moment
with a swan song for the ages.
the theater is packed in like sardines.
           a cynosure of all eyes.

           her own stitched shut
            as she starts to sing.
               her face, baring
           tracks of trickling tears,
         flush with searing passion.

            her voice, quivering
             with raw emotion,
           reaches a crescendo.
                 a final bow
 amid a thunderous standing ovation.

     sustained cheers and whistles
      from a captivated audience
           a celebrated soprano
          rings down the curtain.
the end of an illustrious career.

         goodbye kisses abound.
              red roses catapult
                 to the stage.
                a swan song
                to remember.

The Maiden's Song - a Poem By Giorgio Av

(Metrical form of writing worthily represented here in this poem composed by Giorgio Venetopoulos, had remained unpublished.)

The maiden's form diffuses neath the rain
and beautiful she steps around the sage
The mists embrace her dream on this domain
and vernal age.

The autumn raindrops fall, forever thin
They sing the maiden's song that lingers high
She fled to college winters that akin
have gone awry.

She fled above the plains where women sing
The heartfelt painful songs of love that stings
The iron bells of Sunday callings ring
for queens and kings.

Above the castle's walls the coldness casts
and dancing snowflakes fly to years before
where trees saluted his departing masts,
for e'er ashore.

Forsooth her shape outlined above the field
Where flowers blossomed in the air and smiled
The quiet dusk her heart sedately healed
descending mild.

Across their Summer lay the swaths of scythe
the mowing ended and a wedding song
two wraiths recite, thus on the wheatfield lithe
for e'er belong.

The Woman I Want To Be

The woman i am now
Is only half the woman
I want to be
The man I am with
Is more than half the man
That I need
I was never really
Good at math
But when I put one and one together
It equals two people
That fit each others equation
Living everyday as if it was my last
I strive on
I push on
Day after day
Finding myself
The bits and pieces that make me, me
Building that other half
Of that woman I want to be

Strong Woman

Strong woman
That woman
Who tears behind the mirror?
Made me who I am
My hardened heart she took
Tenderized it with love
Took my salty tears
Turned into joyful tears

That woman
Who sighs behind the mirror
Sighs in memory
Memories and feelings
Hardships she went through
To feed my whole stomach

That woman
The woman pulling back her mucors
Does so in fear
Fear that ill not be what she hoped
That teared woman
Crys in fast and prayer
Crys for my dark self
Cries for my future

That woman crying
Tears down her body fluids
Hopefully that her anger and disappointments
May atleast flow out with them
Her body almost running dry by now
That woman calls upon God
GOD atleast make him better
That woman cries for me
That woman cries for her lineage
That woman cries night and day

How I came to be
To be what I am
I don’t know how
A slave of the world
A slave with one work song
A song entitled failure
The first stanza of calamity
The last stanza dead man where I am heading

Looking at her cry
Twists my brains
Is this what I am?
Is this my purpose to the world?
Is this the man the world wants?
Is this what God spent time Molding
Is this what the bible describes?
Just for her
Just for her I take my life back
Just for her God I stand strong
Just for her I say no
NO no no this is not me

Come mummy take this handkerchief
I don’t wannna see those tears again
I love you mummy

The Pink Lady With Yellow Candle-La-Bra

Tell me friend
How best to paint a woman
Brilliantly colourful and extremely fastidious
Who is an African princess
Blending aggression with femininity
And radiates grace, charm and suppleness
The marks of womanhood
A woman who bathes in array of candlelight
With an usual candour for candle-la-bra
Chatty, cheery, and pardonably cheeky
Materialistic, Modern, and Maiden
Exuberant, Extrovert
Rosy and Rounded
Opinionated and Opportunistic
Meticulous and
Annoyingly Anorak
A woman who is gorgeously trendy
A wonderful volunteer, a touching friend
With big searching eyes
Talk about the lady also known as
MEROMA.

She's a Dreamer

I wanna tell you a story about a little girl
A beautiful sweet little girl
who enjoys living in her
own world of recluse
hopscotching to the beat of
her own drum
She's a dreamer and boy let me tell you
her imagination loves to run wild
You may find her gazing at the stars
envisioning the birth of an
ORANGE MOON
while love RAINS DOWN
Once gray skies dissipate
Heaven then opens up
as the GOLDEN LIGHT OF THE SUN
sticks to her skin like HONEY MOLASSES
She imagines taking A
LONG WALK to admire
the beauty growing
from the branches of
an APPLE TREE
reminding her that she too
grew from her family roots
to become BEAUTIFULLY HUMAN
 She is CROWN ROYAL
BLESSED to have witnessed God
line her journey with FOUR LEAF
CLOVERS to impregnate her
with luck in the form of strength
It empowers her to move mountains
and dismantle walls 20 FEET TALL
Fearing no DANGER
she marches ON AND ON
like a SOLDIER pushing through
rivers of obstacles GETTING IN THE WAY
of her purpose
The SPRING SUMMER FEELING
leaves her SO IN LOVE
as she quietly confides in the flowers
by telling them
"the ancestors are WATCHING ME"
all while dancing to THE EARTH SONG
wearing peace and
blessings on her feet
while basking in the
manifestation of gratuity
He mother nurtured her
with food for thought
refilling her with infinite wisdom
She can hear her mother's gentle voice
telling her "GON' BABY, DON'T BE LONG
TIMES A WASTIN' and
be sure to pack light TODAY so you
don't hurt your back trying to
reach your NEXT LIFETIME"
The sticky sweetness
of an EPIPHANY rest on her mind
She levitates amongst the clouds
to swing on a rainbow
She don't want nobody
next to her on this journey
but the good Lord
guiding her beyond the ROLLING HILLS
and the valley low
holding her hand
until reaching her destination
to the woman she aspires to be
In her possession she has $3 and six dimes
a bag full of scribes
and a book filled with PENITENTIARY PHILOSOPHY
written by Mumia Abu-Jamal
I am proud of this beautiful sweet little girl
who enjoys living in her
own world of recluse
hopscotching to the beat of
her own drum
She's a dreamer and boy let me tell you
her imagination loves to run wild

Crush, But Not a Rush

(Chorus: song (rpt. 1x)): As I was raised up on my relationship life
It was hard for the one who had a crush on me
I sometimes crushed him back, but its not a rush
Even though time after time I had to blush
He was my crush, but not a rush

(Verse 1: rap): Not trying to push on you wrong baby boy
Im telling you, you’re not dealing with a toy
But it’s this part of me that you will never know
I know you see the love that I try to show
Now look at this broken heart you got to mend
I don’t wont to send my love
I want to share it with you
But this one person had step in my life, including others
down the road that crushed it down piece by piece
It seems as if this broken heart
Just isn’t going to be put back
paste by paste
I know its my only lips you want to taste
I know its my only body you want to feel
I know its our love you want to share
I know it seems as if I don’t care
because in my eyes you’re just a crush, but not a rush

(Chorus: song (rpt. 1x)): As I was raised on my relationship life
It was hard for the one who had a crush on me
I sometimes crushed him back, but its not a rush
Even though time after time I had to blush
He was my crush, but not a rush

(Verse 2: rap) I know my love is the only thing you want to taste
But boy please believe that I need my space
I know its my face that you only want to see
And my heart you want to set free
Cause you tired of these skees
But Im not on that B.S.
Im on a woman stage of something so real
I know you want to feel in me
But I don’t think you see
that im not looking for love
of these so-called men
Can’t you see in order for me to keep my head up high
Is to only look beyond the skies
Because when I’m down
I know that the one beyond the skies will comfort me
And if its really your love I need
When can you show that for me
I think your really blinded by what you see
Instead of seeing the real woman inside of me
Can’t you see
That you’re just a crush, but baby boy its not a rush

(Chorus rpt 2x)

Premium Member Swift Arthur

King Arthur had a lightning rod. Guinevere found him trying.
His vassals though profoundly odd were far more satisfying.
In martial arts he did excel. At other trades his plying
Could never suit his ego well -- one often found him sighing.

Whenever he returned from war, he was the day's sensation;
But evening found him sad and sore, insensate to persuasion.
Sometimes he tried, and tried his best, to rise to the occasion,
But instanter fell back to rest. His queen must feign elation.

The thing that made it all so strange, he thought himself a charmer.
The king, it seems, a bit deranged, was fearful he might harm her.
She tried to be a faithful wife, avoiding page and farmer;
But Arthur would not, on his life, ever remove his armor.

"Swift Arthur" appeared previously in Fantasy & Terror 9, 1986. It will be collected for the first time in my forthcoming collection The Ocean's Tryst and Other Metrical Tales of Heroic Fantasy.

I Am Woman

Women have been kept down for too long and it's time we became our true, powerful goddess selves. A celebration for women and an inspirational piece.

I am woman
By Michelle Morris
01/05/2020

I am woman,
Hear me roar!
I am banging
At your door -
No more keeping me out!
Misogyny, abuse and self doubt
Gone -
It's my time now;
Hear my song!

I am woman,
I am proud!
See me fly,
See me soar;
Above your
Pettiness and
Anger, I
Will be so much
More:

More powerful;
More widespread;
More vocal;
More creative;
More warrior;
More phoenix;
More natural...

And from the ashes
Where you burned
My ancestors to the ground,
We will rise strong,
Sisterhood proud...

And you, your egos and
Domination,
Your lies and
Need for control...
They will
Have repercussions
You'll dread for your
Eternal soul...

For you will have to
Live in eternity
With the hell
You created for
Us on earth,
And we shall
Rise free and strong;
Despite your chains
And limitations,
We will sing our song...

I am woman,
Hear me roar!
I am banging
At your door -
No more keeping me out!
Misogyny, abuse and self doubt
Gone -
It's my time now;
Hear my song!

I am woman,
I am proud!
See me fly,
See me soar;
Above your
Pettiness and
Anger, I
Will be so much
More...

Yes, we will be
So much more...
We the true goddess energy
Of our time...
And we will fly and
We will soar,
Forever together,
Phoenix calling...

Premium Member Another Side of the Fence

I am new to the community.
The high fence blocks the visibility.
Days and nights, I enjoy
The lovely songs of a lady’s voice

The lyrics that she describes
Pink, red flowers that bees admire
White roses along the fence
The trumpet vine, like a snake, dances

Sunflowers edge the yard.
Purple and orange tulips in her regard
Colorful butterflies cycle
Falling in love with the scent of idols

Her daily songs draw me in
The flowers make my head spin
Hand in hand, we walk along
Dear blind sight, she sings the songs
O… Dear blind sight

Kisses In the Wind

Her golden,
And exotic hair,
Sweet,
With her lillies,

She gave her love,
Blowing kisses,
In the wind,

She left her Beauty,
Everywhere,
Blowing kisses,
In the wind,

She gave her love,
Blowing kisses,
In the wind,

Her soul,
Sweet,
With its irises,

She left her Beauty,
everywhere,
Blowing kisses,
In the wind

Kawehi : Part Three

Kawehi : Part Three

No-one can be like Kawehi; but if you listen to her with me,
You will see the smile on my face and maybe, just maybe,
You will realise the love I have to give, is here inside your arms.
Hold me and never let go and in the morning set no alarm.
Let’s wake up together when we are fully rested,
So we can spend another day down with the gifted.

Yea-----h!!! You rock!
I love her music…Mrs. Beatbox.
She can pick the right song and make it better.
I don’t have a new complaint; I am all apologies to any other.

Pop bands can try and try, but they will never be good enough.
Kawehi wins hands down; my soul has been shaken.
Throw down your remixing tools, because they have begun to rust.
If you want a song to be improved, she just makes it happen.

I am in nirvana, with Nirvana,
But when I hear Lucy leaving me to Kawehi’s wonders;
I just think she could never understand me,
So now she is just a memory.
My world revolves around my soul and you drown out all the thunder;
Noise only exists inside my headphones and you are no fictional reality.

No tomorrow could compare to the day I found your songs;
It’s a very, what? Happy birthday!

So surprised to find you there,
Beneath the sounds of those who do it right
And you are able re-write the bad band’s wrong’s.
All you do is right to me and what more can I say?

I've Got the Best

See them…
in the street light,
done up…
for a hot night,
made up….
like a French whore,
skin tight…
on a dance floor.

Their men keep coming,
the richest in town,
end up laying all
their money down.
Got no pity
for all of these clowns,
’cause I know…

I have got the best, girl,
they have got the rest,
I’ve got the brass ring,
they, the hot mess,
I’ve god the good times,
they got the stress,
they got high maintenance,
and the sh-t tests.
I ain’t tellin’ no lies girl,
you’ll always be a prize girl,
this I’ll testify, girl,
I’ve got the best.

See them…
posting online,
pictures…
their job full time,
chasing…
celebrity,
that stuff…
just ain’t for me.

Sad man keep coming
and wasting their pay,
dreaming they might
get with them some day.
Got no pity
for the games they play,
’cause I know…

I have got the best, girl,
they have got the rest,
I’ve got the brass ring,
they, the hot mess,
I’ve god the good times,
they got the stress,
they got high maintenance,
and the sh-t tests.
I ain’t tellin’ no lies girl,
you’ll always be a prize girl,
this I’ll testify, girl,
I’ve got the best.

Against the grain,
we just aren’t the same,
their games insane,
that sh-t is a pain,
let’s make it plain,
you’re taking my name,
they’re all that’s vain,
let them go down in flames...
Quiet, strong, and true, girl,
the bedrock of my whole world,
they’re fake diamond to a pearl,
no, they have no claim.

I have got the best, girl,
they have got the rest,
I’ve got the brass ring,
they, the hot mess,
I’ve god the good times,
they got the stress,
they got high maintenance,
and the sh-t tests.
I ain’t tellin’ no lies girl,
you’ll always be a prize girl,
this I’ll testify, girl,
I’ve got the best.
