Humanity Exists As Sad Creatures With Evil Skins
Reprieve may be a fine desert or a freedom to live
A blessing freely granted or the power to freely give
But we must dare admit what immense courage some things take
And use our smart brains to identify the sorrowful fakes
For humans react to threats in many kinds of strange ways
But evil exists and demand opponents dearly pays
War savagery that with pure delight evil men do
Truth is one sorrowful day it may attack me and you
This world to oft engages in darkness and destruction
Mankind adopts wickedness as primary instructions
We have no true safeguards when war its ugly head does raise
Best if we trust our God, and give his Son our faithful praise.
Humanity exists as sad creatures with evil skins.
Full of selfish desires, greed in hearts of women and men.
Robert J. Lindley, dark sonnet
Jan. 21st, 1972
Note. This is the truth about humanity.
Unless under Christ's banner, they too oft exist as evil creatures on the take, imho.

Where does one start when through my eyes I see
I see curvatures of she, her soul glows
Naked to bare she lies living so free
Her undulated figure in froze pose
Whilst porcelain skins, excitedly grow
She to me she climbs, snake like we're entwined
Defined, enriched and absorbed, two in dine
Our skeletal skins dance, naked now we
Undressed we're elected to be, aligned
Where does one start when through my eyes I see

When the weather is fair
Touchdowns and field goals, I cheer;
When it is stormy with a loss,
With the team I stand, supporting;
Good and Bad
Win, loose or tie
Not just a Fair Weather Fan
Burgundy and Gold for life

Some people eat them plain, some with hot sauce
They buy no matter what the cost
They have swept the nation, have become a craze
If not on the shelves, customers call it a disgrace
It is said that gluttony is a sin
But no one cares, they just want their pork skins
Someone said with soy sauce they are pretty good
A new flavor coming out soon, smoked over hickory wood
Try them with jalepeno and cheddar dip
KC Masterpiece may be the trick
So I say let the party begin
Can't have a party without pork skins
The skins finally arrive
The party comes alive
The girls flock around the designated potato chip bowl
They begin to fight over the contents, this party is way out of control
After the bruises, bloody noses and broken bones, the last one standing wins
For the victor comes the spoils, her own bowl of pork skins
This here was a limited time offer
The victor just happened to be a sailor's daughter
Keep in mind that we are from the south
We are extremely careful what kinds of food we put in our mouths
The stores just can't keep them on the shelves
If I could, I would have them all to myself
In Laura Ingalls' days they were served in a tin
Even Laura couldn't go without her pork skins

Ballad
Brown barren bush
stretches deep down
away from sun's refueling light
recalling our shared history
still composts Earth's co-invested
soil,
soulful mystery.
"Rejoin Earth's cooperative"
s/he says
marvelously,
reinvesting in humane religion.
S/he sways silent aloha peace
namaste
have our enlightened day
empowering together.
I look away
to write to us
about us
with us
for us
emerging,
evolving our co-revolving Roots
in eggs like seeds,
sacred breeds
and divine feeds.

Parallelismus Membrorum
Lions in Sheep skins
Is all that is left in the World
No more brotherhood and kins
The world before only need to be told.
From family members to friends,
Supervisors to managers,
Officials to Religious leaders,
Neighbourhood and abroad,
The pure heart is still below the ladders.
Lions in a sheep skin,
They come like sheeps,
Covered in the light of goodness and hope,
As white as snow, as gentle as a dove,
With promises of wonders of Gold.
Their surroundings amongst us are powerful,
We need them now and then,
They know us better, so do they retaliate,
Until we realise we have different interests,
Life is full of amusements, and entertainment.
We like toy soldiers in some cases,
Where ever we go,
in most situations we find ourselves,
From relationship to marriages,
Most of them we find recently......
Are Lions in sheep skins.
Everyone of us is born with a different perception,
One man alone cannot stand,
Yet we need to figure out and investigate,
In order to strike with the right people,
In the right moment of our lives.... Watch out!

Diamante
It was her skin in the ground
It was her skin with blood beneath
It was her skin with heat and humid
It was her skin in countless shades of grey
It was her skin in columnar colors of brown
It was her skin in bruised blisters of black
It was her still life, silent life, upon us
It was broken, wrinkled, wrankled
It was unskinned, unwrapped, unwound
She was denuded, time and temperatures beyond
She was defoiled, time and temperatures again
She was demolished, time and trepidations on
She was silent, soiled, soaked in her blood
She was just soil, clay, ground, floor for them
Your soil, your marble, your rocks, your stones
It was her skin, it was her skin breathing her blood
It was her blanket of love, your sliding lands
It was her blood, which you drink as water and shed as tears
Now it is a flood, a flawless flood, fissures in the floors
It is she, erratic, lunatic, frenetic, wearing a fury
Breathing boils, Beaming blisters, Baggage of blasts
She remembers everything, conscious and unconscious
She is beyond skins, blood, veins, vessels, capillaries
It is veins of my earth, it is blood of my earth

If we all walked around without our skins,
virtues apparent as well as our sins,
would he look different than I do, or you?
God said that we should love our fellow man
although he may live in another land.
Why is it that’s so hard for us to do?
Though he may go by a strange sounding name,
beneath his skin he’s very much the same.
He longs for health and happiness and love.
We are sojourners in this world of woe;
our stays be short or long we cannot know,
each held accountable to Him above.
Tread not on one another for a gain.
Open your hearts to feel your brothers’ pain.
This life is but a stepping stone to more.
When we at last have seen our Savior’s face
And find he is of scorned and hated race
Will we be welcomed through his open door?
God gave His Son for you and him and me.
Not one or other more beloved to be.

Age 10 slough. Age twenty slough.
Age thirty slough.
Age forty and fifty slough
and so on.
Age sixty was a mighty shedding,
the polished scales
rattling in the very teeth of death.
Wriggling skins, some actual skins,
much metaphorical molt,
ephemeral epithelial layers of self.
Shadow buzzards;
those gormandizing birds
that exfoliate entropy,
they that aid the slip-sliding away
of all pivotal and transitional days,
they now sing my late peeling songs.
Enough. Basta!
This year my skin is stuck to word-bones
and only a starving raptor
could peck away this pelt and sheathing,
and not yet
not while I still have skin in the game.

I could hear my heartbeat
In that moment of silence,
When darkness was all around
But my eyes were wide open.
When tears rolled down through them,
The time when I believed it was the end
But something kept me alive
Hope, I think it was
Defined the difference between the dead and I,
Lying down on the cold ground
In that moment I thought I existed for enough of a while.
Then the spring came
And took away the coat of winter
Which I was wearing since forever
But now my era had come,
To be here for myself
Rather than solving other’s tribulations.
To come to life,
Saying goodbye to the cold grounds,
To receive some freshness in my existence,
To stop worrying about the past or the future
But to just live unreservedly in the present.
When nothing except my own doing would clutter
But still I would be in touch
With all the creatures around me
And I would live blissfully.

There's little left,
say for the skins of those i've often bled.
Stacked heart deep around me...
i live in a house made of skins-
Iv'e had chances to redeem-come clean,
but always chose to breathe the slanted sweet.
Nobody to blame but the idiot
(me),
sitting high atop his grinning rock-
Less than half a clock left
(there is still time... i think),
to sweep the heart of these filthy sweets-
with a malstrom of apologies?
where to start-its quite a list,
i live in a house made of of skins.
i used to think heaven was within my crooked reach,
until i looked behind
saw the burning pins i jammed into the purity of angel eyes..
can I patch them up with a birthday card and tarry rhymes?
crow footed memories, so little time...
i live in a house made of skins.

There was a pair
Both having creative flair
Then another two
Having nothing to do
Twins on two wheels
Looking for a steal
No need for a club
Being in the woods with these guys who were studs
Partying at the lake
Spending what they make
Not thinking this is a mistake
A DJ was not there
No one cared
Dancing the four
Ignoring she walked out the door
Searching for Leprechaun green
Wearing tight tailored made blue jeans
Eyeing to purchase a Porsche
This film work was par for the course
Acting like a driving wedge
She did something behind the hedge
To get out of the rough
Her emotions taking rejection real tough
Using a cobra iron
As a warning siren
Stroking the little white ball
Making sure she made the call
A fair way to handle a difficult situation
Getting a good lay and position
Into the bunker it did land
A sandy hazard needing to get out of a jam
With a little twist and grip that was firm
At first the cable television gallery showed their concern
It reached its goal
Sinking into the hole
All this happen when she was asleep
From out of nowhere was the underwater creep
Nothing much after that
For the Princess brat
Champion players enjoy the Seminole skins
Betting on who will win
Take each match
Where an eagle or birdie may hatch
Like it is your last
And remember your lucrative past
Since science overnight can turn weird
Spreading a viral infection revenge demanding fear
In the end see the results on the card
Digesting the negativity could be hard
Especially on the back nine
Marching in rhythmic time
Knowing this is the chapter’s finale
Realizing the positive tally
As the golfing masters put up their cleats to hang
One may ponder over that space drink orange Tang
Promiscuous Miss Samantha Lane does look like Danielle Kang

Old and New Wine Skins
In old skins should not put new wine,
And yet both old and new are divine;
A renewal;
Will refuel;
Am glad that God will always be mine.
