SIXTH SENSE SEDUCTION
In ordinary ways
in ordinary days
I stand before her quite amazed
at her lithe form.
While reaching up to touch a cloud
with naked limbs (it’s all allowed)
Her beauty strikes though not to lure;
to transform me of that I'm sure.
I hear the whispered wind blow through...
to once again say its adieu
...in delicate sound, so very crisp
upon this newly blossomed tryst
like falling leaves that gently touch
a waiting heart.
While still in trance of blessed bliss
I knew that a presumptive kiss
would end this convocation.
And so in silly awkward glee
and truly thinking it was not me
I could not I resist; oh won't you see?
It was not wrong to hug that tree.

This lovely little cat has been my friend for a long time.
I have never been so worried as I am today.
It is time. He is about to leave this world.
He is really old and, you know, sickness comes with age.
To be honest, I just wish I am strong enough to see him leave,
But I do not think I am prepared for that, though.
So sad. I wish there could be another way.
If you have pets, you know what I am talking about.
Some people do not understand what pets mean to their owners.
In fact, a beloved pet has a father or a mother; not an owner.
My kitty cat has always been a son to me.
Does he know what is happening, I wonder?
Does he understand I am in pain for him?
Is sixth sense part of your amazing being, my dear kitten?
I hope you understand my life will never be the same without you, Falco.
Sixth Sense
Binding forces clench my worried mind.
For at times, the distractions shroud the inner lining
difficulty in grasping what my conscious is hiding.
Feeling is unknown, unreal, unseen, one of a kind.
An answer whispers to me but it cannot speak.
The Universe detached from its silent pitch.
Almost indescribable, reality is glitched.
For this moment, the mind is strong yet also weak.
I assert those who ask of this power
“Like animals, they too have a sixth sense.”
Confusing yet intriguing this force is immense.
Tranquility I seek for my thoughts amongst the bowers.
The answers to life perhaps are already drawn.
In this world, for now, we are all just pawns.
I am not talking about the movie but a psychological phenomenon.
People have a sixth sense that guides your daily decisions.
You don’t know you have it, as it’s based in your subconscious mind,
Where past experiences and mistakes record as clear visions,
However your conscious mind only registers these memories as part of a picture.
It guides you to turn a specific way when you have never been there before,
When meeting someone new, like my future husband, made me realize he was who I would marry.
I haven’t seen God but he/she must exist as I’ve seen work that only a supreme being can do.
It helps you to contact a potential employer just the right time for a job interview.
For others, it may be getting a feeling of foreboding prior to a bad experience or
It’s knowing that your child is really sick without any clear symptoms.
It is why someone chooses a specific profession and they end up being really good in that job.
When a decision must be made, you somehow just know how to make it.
Our reactions are based on our modified memories and subliminal sounds.
Some call this a hunch, gut-reaction, while others call it intuition or instinct.
I believe it is our sixth sense and one of our most important characteristics of humans,
It is what makes us choose the fork in the road less travelled.
Makes us second guess our decision or just know that it is the right decision.
Somehow knowing from the moment our feet hit the floor, it is a good day and things will be alright.

Your beauty is transparent
Your voice serenades solace
Your spirit is the wind
Your oxygen keeps me breathing
Your skin is of honey
Your ruby red lips show off your cool-aid smile
Your solidity amazes me
Your curvaceous body intrigues my thoughts
Your eyes capture heaven
Your love defies logic
In the distance a myriad of voices call,
Echoes of the past hidden in déjà vu,
The lateral thoughts unable to hear,
The visions beyond the walls of time,
As answers come in perception.

the most common sense
is the one abused by all
not too far behind
is sight hear touch smell and taste…
think Robot needs a recharge.

A hollow whisper in my ear,
a voice that I alone can hear,
the soldier seen in camouflage,
a ghostly desert storm mirage.
I feel the cat jump on the bed,
but cannot look, too filled with dread,
people glimpsed and then not there,
vanished, gone into thin air.
The doctor's hands are stiffly steepled,
when you say you've seen dead people.
Are all these visions in my mind?
psychic/psychotic: such a fine line.

LIFE IS GREAT
FANTASTIC
INCREDIBLE
AND AT TIMES
UNBELIEVABLE.
FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS
I THOUGHT EVERYONE
HAD SIX SENSES
APPARENTLY NOT.
ARE YOU THE ONLY OTHER ?
I'M NOT REALLY SURE
WHAT HAPPENED.
WAS IT MISPLACED?
MAYBE IT WAS LOST.
MAYBE IT WAS LEFT
BEHIND.
MAYBE IT BECAME
OBSOLETE AND
DIS-RE-GAR-DED.
I DO WONDER HOW
IS IT STILL POSSIBLE
PEOPLE STILL
MAKE IT THROUGH
THE DAY AND LIFE
UNHARMED AND ALIVE
WITH OUT IT.
I UNDERSTAND TODAY'S
TECHNOLOGY. YET I STILL
MUST ASK. DOES ARTIFICIAL
INTELLIGENCE POSSESS
THE SIXTH SENSE?
TO THINK...
WHAT ONCE WAS COMMON...
IS NOW OBSCURE.
WITH THE ADVANCEMENT
OF SCIENCE IT WILL
FOR SURE DISAPPEAR.

I felt a drunkard in my fanciful sixth sense.
The pond seemed to me the Sea of Aegean
And the floating leaves warships of Greece,
Thousands in number that fought for Helen.
Now, my mind finds infinite amidst finite
And beholds freedom in a free flying kite,
Discovers beauty in a dazzling little dew,
In metamorphoses of bug seeks life anew.
Slowly, my outer sight sinks in shadow
As the closing eyelids sleep in meadow.
Eyes are closing only to open in insight
As if bathed with celestial divine light.
Five senses link us to the world,
that’s what we’ve all been taught.
But each of them extends to fill
each corner of our thought.
Sight gives you the chance to see
the wonders all around.
But have you ever ‘seen’ the truth
of things that are profound.
Sound will let you hear the noise
our ears were made this way.
But have you ever ‘listened’ to
your conscience have its say.
Touch allows us all to feel
the textures of all things.
But did you ever ‘feel’ true love,
this feeling really sings.
Taste lets us enjoy our food
or quickly spit it out.
But surely we’ve a ‘taste’ for art
and music, there’s no doubt.
Smell the temptress of them all
can lead you where to go.
But if you ever ‘smell’ a rat,
your instinct tells you so.
So the senses that we’re born with
that we’re using every day,
form partnerships within our thoughts
to help us on our way.
But the sense that’s most important
and the one we have to find,
is the Sixth Sense we develop
in the regions of our mind.
Ivor G Davies
You are far from perfect and I am sure you are aware of this
A subject you often neglect but a point you can’t miss
Your shortcomings are as clear to you as to everyone around
But I only have one fear and that is, you haven’t been found
Imperfect as they come, I made every mistake in the book
Some , even to say I’m dumb , if they didn’t take a second look
How often I’ve fallen, in adding to my own pile of shame
When, I heard Jesus calling saying He would take all my blame
My eyes opened wide, the amazement of such a thought
I would no longer be tried for all the pain that I had wrought
Soon tears filled these eyes which were now finally able to see
That was the day I came to realize that only Jesus can set you free
Still at times I fall but not nearly as much as before
In listening for His Call it makes it much easier to endure
But it’s that joy that I feel every time I speak His Name
Once you sense He is real, your life will never be the same
The Sixth Sense
And here I am at age eleven
A sleep, so comfortable, so deep
In a place that's warm close to Heaven
All of a sudden, into the sky, I fly with one leap
At this house, upon that hill
A little further up, I hover above the thorny trees
I see above, below and beyond me, still
Everywhere is calm, moonlight and not a breeze
Even as I struggle to understand
And in the middle of this night
I could fall, as I circle above this land
What a weird and wonderful sight
And so back to Earth, I gently glide
Through this house, I call home
So not a word to anyone I confide
About this journey and no phone
