How the Sixth Sense Was Lost

LIFE IS GREAT 
FANTASTIC 
INCREDIBLE 
AND AT TIMES
UNBELIEVABLE.

FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS
I THOUGHT EVERYONE
HAD SIX SENSES

APPARENTLY NOT.
ARE YOU THE ONLY OTHER ?
I'M NOT REALLY SURE 
WHAT HAPPENED.

WAS IT MISPLACED?
MAYBE IT WAS LOST.
MAYBE IT WAS LEFT
BEHIND.
MAYBE IT BECAME 
OBSOLETE AND 
DIS-RE-GAR-DED.

I DO WONDER HOW
IS IT STILL POSSIBLE
PEOPLE STILL
MAKE IT THROUGH 
THE DAY AND LIFE
UNHARMED AND ALIVE
WITH OUT IT.

I UNDERSTAND TODAY'S
TECHNOLOGY. YET I STILL
MUST ASK. DOES ARTIFICIAL
INTELLIGENCE POSSESS
THE SIXTH SENSE?

TO THINK...
WHAT ONCE WAS COMMON...
IS NOW OBSCURE.
WITH THE ADVANCEMENT
OF SCIENCE IT WILL
FOR SURE DISAPPEAR.

I think Michael, AI is still in its infancy and will continue to grow but at a slower rate than previously thought, very interesting how you compare it to us losing our sixth sense, is it because our sixth sense is in fact balance, you feel we are losing it to technology, you could well be onto something enjoyed your poem, cheers David

Thank you Michael for the detailed response, I agree with some of your points, concerning technology being beyond the average imagination, and people becoming mobile phone slaves or maybe addicts, I still believe our sixth sense is our sense of balance, intuition is probably atavistic with instinct, reading your poems I’ve no doubt your an extremely clever guy, and certainly give this reader food for thought.

Hi David There is a little humor coded into the poem. Intuition is considered the 6th sense to my understanding. Technology is way beyond the average imagination today. TRANSHUMANISM has been in the works 75 years? There is a real human cyborg believe it or not. There is a reason Big Pharma and the CDC don't want to release the vaccine documents for 75 years. I leave it there. You can do your own research. I would to suggest you read my poem genetically modified America. 2016 and The truth behind the flu also 2016. Most of my work is created from life experiences and elevated consciousness. The hidden clues Dis-re--GARD-ed. To THINK... and. COMMON One should conclude COMMON SENSE. Most people depend on their SMART phone for everything. To the point how to think what to think even yes yes yes when to think.
