WE ARE IN LOVE

We two are just in teen.
      Seed of love to sow.
Love of baby tree to grow.
Hard root to sink deep in soul.
Weak stem on fear of loss.
Soft bud yet to open fold.
      Shy look ! Not bold.

Wild love to try to peep.
Yet love to roll and rush.
Urge to jump to flow fast.
We two to soar high up sky
        with free wing like bird.

Our love to last till last sec.
of our life. It’s our vow.
         We won’t part.
He is for me and I am for him.
He is the Moon to glow in my soul.
Me the only star to glaze in his mind.
Each day we will stay side by side.
Our path of life to aim same goal.
We are tied in bond of love.

Premium Member Mom I Love You

My eyes follow as my left hand orchestrates my thoughts with an ink pen
Of memories, past and present, good and bad that you have embedded within
My heart palpitates when you are near as you billow with love again and again

I promise to be with you in the stormy weather as the dark skies descend

Live life every sec, min, and hour with you without fearing when our time will end
Oh what a blessing you have been to me amongst endless pain, agony and sin
Verily I say, thanks for the seed that has formed my vital structures to speak herein
Everyday is a new beginning, yet you continue to march along the strongest wind

Yield not from my heart, for you are the cause and effect of beast becoming men
Others have gone before you, lead the way for your hands were made to lend
Unending love and protection you have as long as I'm your Officer and Gentle-Men

Premium Member Margaritas

The kind most people enjoy all of the time,
is the traditional made from juice of the lime.
You need tequila and salt to mix this drink.
However, there are more different kinds than most people think.
Do not forget either Triple Sec or Cointreau.
Bring all these ingredients together, and away you go.

Have you ever made these drinks with strawberries?
They can be made with pineapples, peaches, or raspberries.
This is one favorite having great variety.
Any bartender will make one for you and me.

Premium Member Masquerade

Living in a masquerade
Hiding our truths in the shade
Veiled Behind electronic devices
The Physical world Minimises

Concealed behind a blue and white light
No melatonin released at night
Our brains don’t accept it’s time to sleep
And every day we’re on repeat

A vicious cycle ceases to stop
When hid behind our phones and lap top

Wanting to be something we’re not
Living life through a mobile robot
Pupils straining , brains rearranging
Photograph your food , words misconstrued

We used to wear watches and read paper maps
Took photos with cameras , had real contact
We spent Summer days out in the fresh air , riding our bikes with the wind in our hair

Simulation , stimulation lost inside a lie
Isolation, modification , apps that beautify
Lacking essential social skills
Online Casino gives you thrills

Book shops closing , hackers disclosing
Filters , snaps of zombies posing
Selfie sticks and brains decomposing
Judging ourselves With an air of self loathing

Expectations of Instant gratification
Vulnerable souls face Victimisation
Predators and bullies target their prey
Illicit pictures on display

Conversations overthrown
Surrounded by people
Yet still quite alone

With one selfish text lives become wrecked
Took your eyes off the road just for a sec
Sirens arriving , little chance of surviving
All because of your self-absorbed driving

We hold it dearer than humanity
Ignorant and lost at sea
We need to find our way back to land
And release these crutches from our hands

------------------------------------------------------------------

I called out your name, but I got no answer.
You had gone away without a word; no reason why.
I called out your name; echoes filled the cold deserted rooms
and the silence I could not bear.

Time has now gone by, yet I can not forget nor give up.
I live in hope that you will come back to me.
Always in my heart there is a place reserved just for you.
Do not let my tears flow down in vain.

I called out your name. In my mind I saw you
in a swirling mist of hazy blue, beyond my reach.
I called out your name to the wind that blew in restless nights
and I wondered where you could be.

Time has now gone by, yet I can not forget nor give up.
I live in hope that you will come back to me.
Always in my heart there is a place reserved just for you.
Do not let my tears flow down in vain.

I called out your name to the stars above me;
to the rolling sea where secrets hide among the waves.
I called out your name as I sat alone and longed for you
and the silence I could not bear.

         I still call your name
         as I live in hope.
         Life is not the same
         since you went away.
         I call your name.

I Love You But I Don'T Know Why

I love you but I don’t know why.
I love your lips which seem too thin
for a kind person, your grey-green
deceitful eyes which are too dry
and too unmerciful to cry
for broken hearts. I love your skin
which chilly whiteness is akin
to fallen snow in hot July.

I love your blush when I begin
to talk of the engagement ring
which I allegedly have bought.

I love you but I don’t know why
I love. The only thing that I
don't love is that you love me not.

Premium Member Offshore Fishing Adventure

So far offshore, but nothing was biting

Six-pack behind me looked so inviting

New rod I placed on the deck

Though it was just for a sec

‘Twas then an amberjack hit like lightning

The buoyant rod bounded over each wave

Determined, I vowed that pole I would save

Spun my boat in fit of rage

Against this fish, war I’d wage

An Ahab-like victory I did crave

With a gaffing hook, I retrieved the pole

To catch amberjack, I’d be on a roll

     Barracuda caught it first

     Fell overboard, then submersed

The ‘cuda eyed me as his dessert goal

25

Look at me, I’m a 25 year trendy maker!
I feature a brand new me, at present!
Look at me, and Read through my transition,
I wear George and shave jeans,
Now I’m getting A Gucci,
And now I can volunteer in UN.
I’m the birthday lad at present.
May the folks warble for De Poet, as I take my view.
I’m floating in the galaxy,
But now, let me trail down, to my castle,
Look at the mirror, it all defines me as A Script-Writer,
On my fingertips, is where you unearth my lyrics!
Did you just read that? I’m A Song-writer as well.
I just don’t give a break,
God dam it, I’m A Poet, “Bryan De Poet”
I am, and I have T.m.T forever.
I am 25! And I’m a silver jubilee today.
What a better me, I can fly far and wide,
And It’s a Sunday, when Emmanuel rose,
My pristine birth–date, though! was, a Good Friday, back then in 89,
That defined and defines, my other name “Emmanuel”
Now let me stroll to haven,
With my own visions and missions,
Extremely eventful and magical I’ am,
Wait a Sec, let me accolade my mother, the tremendous queen “Stella”
And not forgetting my father “William”
For today, don’t try to find my station, and try not to provoke me,
Just listen to me,
I’m what I am, and what you see.
This is, an even year for me!
It’s my birthday,
But I haven’t forgotten where I came from.
I’m 25.

quand tu t’amusais à tordre tout
tu interprétais tout croche

If I Blink

If I blink, would you blink?
If you blink , would I blink ?
If we blink, would we blink at the same time?

If I blink, I would miss a moment of your funny face
If you blink, You'd miss a moment of my lovely funny face
If we blink, we would miss out on one another

If I blink, you may vanish
If you blink , I may be gone
If we blink , we could diminish

If I blink, I could miss your disturbing gesture's
If you blink, you would miss my funny face I be making back
If we blink, what will we do to amuse each other?

If I blink, what would I do without your dramatic irony?
If you blink , who would call me Drama Queen?
If we blink, what kind of drama will we strive without?

If I blink, you could be gone
If you blink, I could be gone
If we blink , both of us would be gone?

If I blink , Would you blink?
Dare to miss a sec within a blink

How To Kill a Printer

Throw it over the second floor
Or better yet bathe it
Since it never seem to.
Kicking doesn’t help
Or talking either
Everybody just thinks me crazy.

I’ve thought of starving it
No paper, No work
We’ll see who’s smiling now.
Oh wait for a sec,
Do printers eat Ink or paper?

This machine irks me
So before I kill it
I wonder,
How much jail time
Do I have to do
For killing one Stupid Printer?

The Generation Gap

The Generation Gap

Dad: Have some food now-I love this scone-
I’ve been meaning to ask you-how’s your phone?
Mine’s great for dealing with business work
And all those stuff that you just can’t shirk.

Son: Wait a sec-I’ll just take a shot
Of my scone and soup, all piping hot
And upload it by phone to Facebook now.
What were you saying? I liked what? How?

Dad: I was asking you how you liked my gift
And if it was enough when I worked an extra shift.
Plus, your food is for eating, son, you see,
Not targets for you in a photo-taking spree.

Son: All my online friends do this, dear dad.
It’s just one of us teenagers’ fads.
You don’t have time for me as it is;
At the very least, let me do this.

Dad: What is it you’re buying online, my son,
That may cost two thousand? My, what a sum!
Is what I’m seeing right? Are those just clothes?
What you’ll buy with my money next, God knows!

Son: You won’t understand, dad, that clothes are the fashion
And delving for the hottest ones is every teen’s passion.
How am I otherwise gonna use up my cash?
It’s either getting the latest stuff, or looking like trash.

Dad: Every dollar is a dollar worth-
In my days, to own one was of greatest mirth.
You should learn to save instead of spend-
I don’t care if it’s the latest trend.
Son: I told you you wouldn’t understand;
I have to do this to stay with my friends.
And please would you turn the Bee Gees down?
They aren’t exactly hottest in town.

Dad: The times have changed since I was young
And strange thoughts and actions have sprung
The children have overpoweringly shocking ways-
I have nothing more to say.

Son: The past was so dreadfully boring
That to think of it gets me to snoring.
The world must have been of black, white and gray-
I have nothing more to say.

Path To An Unknown Destination

As I travel on the path to an unknown destination.......
I must conquer the process of never-ending education
Average math pupil but good with money multiplication
So I try hard to keep rigid concentration
Don't need drugs or liquor to grant my brain stimulation
The elevation
Of my irritation
Anger accumulation
If I fail a task I feel internal humiliation
So I'm up to my neck with worries about to die from self-strangulation
Self termination
My own extermination
Then next comes the inevitable inflammation
So I face Heaven's cremation
Now in Hell I witness my soul's incarceration and incineration
I seek some solitude, give me my space-indentaion
I'm confident a star without the constellation
Better yet I'm the Earth minus the rotation
Circle the 7 continents-circumnavigation
Rebuild my nation
Who am I kidding that's my imagination
An indication
Of dedication
Inspiration
Which mingles with frustration
Which is an expectation
Of this generation
But I am forever notorius I welcome seperation
Fighting two on one with anticipation and contemplation
Losing the battle my face scarred beyond mutilation
Something bad in my blood I feel the devestation
Of living with contamination bad sanitation
Takin no hesitation to carry out the investigation
Now its too late, notice the mutation
Now I take over the land-gentrification
Build a foundation
Living quarters get the best renovation
See my creation
The ultimate innovation
Shine so bright my life is your illumination
In my dreams my company names me president without the inaugeration
Good luck to my relations and affiliations
The eradication
Of my station
Completing installation and insulation
With collasal temptation
To put my feelins in isolation
My heart has no visitations
Readers form your own interpretations.......
Life is a simulation
With many manifestations
Still on a path to an unknown destination

Childbirth

I ain’t a doctor and never will be,
but one night I got into hot water,
I was trying to help but it didn’t help me,
the night a young wife had a daughter.

And it all began with a sunset,
and me underneath a palm tree,
cutting some fronds off the palm,
due to threats from the S.E.C.

As I cut away fronds near the wire,
a spike lanced into my hand,
and try as I might to retrieve it,
the flamin’ thing had made a stand.

I couldn’t quite hold it with tweezers,
and a needle could just feel the end,
now seeing that it’s after hours,
outpatients I’ll have to attend.

And quietly I sat and I waited,
my turn for the doctor to see,
when a fellow stormed through the door,
in panic he yelled, “Please help me!”

“My wife is out there in a taxi,
and right now she’s having a baby!”
Swiftly the waiting room emptied,
and the only one left there is me.

So I ran to the aid of the father,
and flung open the taxicab door,
removing the young mothers clothes,
and throwing them onto the floor.

Her contractions were ever so close,
I could tell by the way she did shout,
so I yelled at her “Keep on pushing,
and the baby will find its way out.”

But she insisted on wanting to sit up,
I laid across her, to hold her down,
her legs and her arms were all flaying,
and she really was going to town.

Now I was beginning to panic,
‘cause I think her water just broke,
and as I tried to feel for the baby,
somebody grabbed me and spoke.

It was the young mother’s husband,
who thanked me but said, “You’re too late,
my wife has delivered a girl,
and you’re in the wrong taxi mate!”
