Premium Member One Autumn Day

Amidst the scorching heat of the sun
Everyone likes to feel its glowing colors all around
Children tossed up and down those kaleidoscopic leaves
As they giggle, roll on the ground and jig
Leaves are like colorful petals and butterflies
Huddling all in their salubrious place of plight
One Autumn Day is truly a nature’s rhapsodic show in our sight

Premium Member Sad Shades of Blue

The ocean reflected by azure skies
glistens in deeper salubrious shades
enchanting me in a mesmerizing gaze
as the waves heave high and low,
undulating currents courses
distilled into my blue eyes,
giving them a blue sea shade.

A windswept chill recalls many
cold blue lips of drowned bodies
on ships and vessels wrecked at sea.
Blue songs sung to mourn their loss.
Somber souls in sorrow coping,
hoping to lay their loved ones to rest.

Cobalt blue on stained glass windows
in the consecrated Christ’s cathedral
illuminates its mourners in shards of blue.
Officers in blue livery offer reverent respect
at gravesites with flowers in hues of blue.
As twilight’s victory overtakes the sun
shadows fall in somber shades of blue.

Premium Member The Naked Man

I left the noisome crowd and entered Caabia.
All was as before, save my own increased awareness.
The village square
a place of near earthly sight
                            (the senses, don’t you see)
Was veiled in powdered light
                       beyond peace beyond quiet
in total contrast to time’s deception.
There was a motionless standing figure now distant
    I had not noticed before
                   OR
The person had not BEEN before
(and before when I cannot say)
Beneath salubrious trees a row of benches
        in the talcum grass
the way ‘round this motionless figure AND
a silent throng come out of their dwellings
        (the house doors stood open)
        a tower bell chiming
(in my mind because there was a tower seen)
a perfect pastoral village as before
only NOW this mysterious distant presence
I entered the scene and took a seat
    ‘neath the trees
my feet on the talcum grass
    head in the powdered air
And since the central subject did not speak I asked the one next me
“Who is this presence?”
“He is the naked man.”
“What sayest this man?”
“He says nothing.”
“What does he do?”
“He does nothing.”
“Where does he go?”
“He goes nowhere He is alone in Harmonia.”
“Is he beautiful?”
“No one can tell.”
“What thinkest this man?”
“He thinks of nothing.”
“Can we approach this man?”
“WE MAY NOT!”

Everything Fades

Salubrious salutations, new age
gradually old made voyage,
Living was perfunctory and now it’s stale,
Can the memory sway?

You yelled but no one heard,
Maybe tide was chatty with time
and now you are here, no quarter to hide;
Speed of time is high then it flies.

Many have come and gone but, all is saved to the core,
Not by alacrity that one lives, but by the almighty;
In the earliest times, the past began,
lessons taught through the odds.

Yesteryears were better, but not for the years after;
Hay have made its way today; can the sun shine then?
Old was new so is new; what is anew?
You kept your call, known was it,
step by step, the old fumbled in whole pit.

There is “do” so is “redo,” make your staying perpetuate gusto;
Everything has two sides: old and new, far and near, cry and laugh,
good and bad, greeting and farewell;
That which is good is sweet, and that which is sour is bad.

If moments leave scars,
will your past glitter?
As you stay, do ring the grotesque bell;
Your days shall be well.

Premium Member Greet 2023

Wish all my friends on Poetry Soup a joyful, peace filled and prosperous New Year!

As the glow of 2022 has died out
When a new dawn’s halo is round the arc
Best wishes and prayers from all hearts sprout
‘Let a new world of light emerge from the dark’

Let us wait to see new hopes blooming
Grab the little joys the mind can contain
Dismiss all defeatist thoughts surfacing
Warmly greet the New Year about to begin

The stream of life glides gurgling
Listen to its dulcet rhythmic refrain
Put down smothering blues brewing
Cast away all sad and throttling pain

Inhale the salubrious air and begin again
Hope for happier times, day after day
With enormous appetite, life’s zest, regain
Newer vistas will open up and come to stay

SERENITY

Wash me with glory’s waterfall and evergreen.
Jehovah-Rapha recharge the endorphins.*
The pine needles tickle my nose with scent.
The swoosh of skirted cascade in forest serene.

The polished rocks under bare feet, the flow
of cool stream that caresses my toes.
Defeat cleansed from my soul. I splash
salubrious waters into crevices of my woes.

Surrounded by the verdant forest of peace -
no sticks and stones to break my bones.
I am cosseted in this fairytale spell
with glorious birdsong and romantic caprice.

Symmetry of footfall through winsome waters.
Rushing precipice of suds release sore impurities.
Stationary giggles, gurgling cheeks piqued.
Serenity is servant of the King’s daughter.

Premium Member A Shining Afterglow

A Shining Afterglow

we have rambled together
        along the Ganges river
	just you and me
	gazing at each other
we have trodden together
       	the streets of Bombay
	through narrow
         tortuous lanes
        goading each other
we have sauntered together
	along the Delhi boulevard
	eyeing each other
         and some of the wonders
         of the world
we have ambled together
	along the snow-capped hills
	of Kashmir hand in hand
	skating down the snowy slopes
we have ascended together
	the steep Tripura hills
	laid with thorns
	pulling up each other
we have braved together
	the desert of Arabia
	strolling side by side
	under the torrid sky
till our throat had run dry
we have explored together
	the Kenyan reserve forest
	with its wild fauna
	breezing together
with our lips fondling each other
we have roamed together
	in British public parks
        meandering amidst marvellous
	alleys of red roses
	vying with envy
        at cherry blossoms
	and inhaled their intoxicating scent
we have swum together
	in the cerulean waters
	of the Mauritian shores
 	with the setting sun
	reflecting its pink afterglow
        on the leisurely undulating waves
where we lay in close embrace
        atop ivory sands.

we have for so long
      	   shared the same roof
		during the summer
                       of love and care
                       when the salutary
                       shine of the salubrious sun
		        illumined our lives
               during the winter
 			of dark despair
			when woeful wild winds
			threatened to blow down
			the façade of our home
we have for so long
	   been duty-bound
      		  caring for each other
			since the break of day
during the sweet glow of the day
			at the dim twilight hours
			during the darkness of night
we have for so long
           seamlessly shared
		our joys and sorrows
		our fears and hopes
		our pains and pleasures
		our daydreams and nightmares

now that the autumn of our life
	life Is at close
		let the afterglow
of our love linger on and on
shining until will last our breath.

So,
Seeing
Successful
Salubrious
Senators sitting
Supposedly serving
Silently subordinate
Society, so sickening
Stomachs, several sundry sullen
Students spurned supporting such senators.

Red Petals Of Everlasting Love

Perfect couples united in a Holy Matrimony
Entwined by God in His most divine harmony
They built a home in the fortress of true love
A salubrious place, their most comforting cove.
Lulling over a lake of serenity from the start
Sustained by faith and fidelity deep in the heart.

For being steadfast in love, in their conviction
Over the years, no squalls razed their foundation
Relentlessly, they look forward for future boons.

Blessed now they are with lovely and talented children
In their sacrifices and patience, dreams will be on hand
Nurtured kids by their great mother and father
God loving and fearing ones, blessings to all others.

Red petals of everlasting love rain from the sky
Outpouring over these two hearts’ boundless tie
Matrimonial bond - an oath to God forever
Eternal amorous affinity they’ll never surrender
Lifetime creases their body, it doesn’t matter.

Inhaling the Sea - Lovers In the Lap of Nature

"Inhaling the sea -- Lovers in the lap of
nature"

Inhaling the sea,
She primed my heart!!

Early morning going onto the sea bed,
My chubby cheeks blushed in red.
Inhaling the breeze, felt so fresh,
By that time, Remembered my Longlasting
mesh.

That salubrious weather, those scenic
charm,
Wanted you to be forever in my glorious
arm.
Ravishing beauty kept my eyes off.

In this pictersque environment,
Everything all around was happening.
Yes, This was the place where l wed.
Inhaling the sea, feelings came out from
the deep space of my heart.

This is the place where diara and I met for
the first time.
She primed my heart.

Embedded mountains, Turquoise blue
lake,
Don't want to be under impression which
was fake.
Ocean of dreams I had,
But she don't entertained me that was
sad.
But still, She was the Queen of hills of my
heart.

Morning exercise was only the reason,
Meeting each other every season.
Waves reached to its height,
She use to hug me tight.
With the rising sun and falling sunrise.
Holding her from her back,
Beyond imagination, carried precious
moments in my sack.

Trying to cope up long miles of
relationship.
Friction in my soul, asked me to commit
for marriage.
Emotionally connecting the extreme ends.
Feelings of each other bloomed.
Hugging her, strings of heart played in
beats.
Felt so blessed, gave me a feeling of
stardom.

Twilight walk on sea beach,
Soft rays of sun,
Filling empty heart with joy.
Sweetness of breeze,
Blueness of sky.
Wide flowing beach,
Along with a pretty attractive beauty in
peach.
Ohhh my icy sugar, You melt my heart.

In an eternal winter,
Frozen soul wrapped each other.
God blessed and she tagged me as her
kite runner.
Ohhh my Frankastein, I have got dipped in
you.

Red sky view, Flying colour of sun and
relaxed mind,
Stunning beauty, I am sinked in your
lovely eyes.
Best splendid moments I had being with
you.
Holding your hand had made a peace and
harmony of our feeling.

Yes inhaling the sea,
She primed my heart!!

Premium Member A California Peach

He was laboriously looking
for that one perfect peach
with soft salubrious skin,
radiantly rounded with
robust, rubicund curves,
crying to be caressed,
coddled and cuddled.
Her bashfully blushing rosy red
cheeks on pale peach skin
immediately caught his attention
as she sat right there for the picking!
Oh, to kiss those juicy joyful
lovely lips, again and again!
She stood out among her friends
who were gathered in hues of green. . .
For she was ruddy, regal
and romantically ripe--his type!
Her body sweetly, softly stimulating,
and so tantalizingly tender to the touch;
Her sensual scent, pure peach!
When he held her in his arms
and she coyly conversed,
he had vestige visions of
copious cobbler on his mind!

Robust that you are, jolly and still
Over trails of yore, folly or drill
Every step you take, slide or drift
Every stomp you make, easy not lift
Precarious it may seem, your plight not in grim
Salubrious in your dream, clarion's call in rim.

Breeze

Breeze
A whiff of zephyr blows across the trees
Swirls softly, upbeat, so salubrious
It whispers Spring, heralding gentle breeze
See budding blooms lift up heads, curious!

Evanascent, pristine breeze swing this way
Our flesh and soul both crave your soothing touch
Each pore is thirsty, seeks your playful sway.
Let us sniff in your joyful dulcet gush

We know that hot winds shall take over soon
With rising mercury distress will soar
Cocooned indoors shall gasp in stifling noon
perturbed the blaze may scorch us to the core

Help us indulge in moments, rare so fine
Your fragrance soaking in, placate us so
That basking in your blissful scents divine
Surrender to your kind refreshing flow

Break the Wall

BREAK THE WALL

The wall of differences that tore us apart,
Keeps standing in words of sightless and visionless minds.
As thick as the wall of our differences; resist the voice of colours.
roofs are leaking;
The wall of  greed  that invented  our differences;
When broken, new wall of patriotism, will spiral- bound nations.
The walls of ancient values are falling and depreciating.
The wall between the rich and the poor gradually closing its gap,
As the roof leaked reports.
Break the walls, break the inequalities of colors on the walls,
All colors on the wall, spin story on eyes.
Break the wall of currency and build lasting wall of economy;
Break the wall of titles and retain honor.

Break the wall of rich and the poor; then, the economy will spin round quickly.
Erecting the wall of victimization; civilization stands no value.
Hands and voices are waiting to break the wall of  ethnic  divisions;
Wall of religion differences that spiral out  tension and blood;
That makes our salubrious world horror of horrors.
Who dare to break the wall?
Either they that erected it or those that will never forget the pains.
The hands of the incarcerated and those who bore scars of marginalization are relentlessness.
The wall must be broken; either in peace or in blood.
