Aussie Roulette

50 years ago we had a sport
Of the deadly dangerous sort
Fight a Tiger snake just one
Quick as lightning in the sun

Used just once a post hole shovel
6 foot long was the handle
Running barefoot with the Tiger
Banded black n brown, a gamble?

Adrenaline ignites, terrifys!!!
Up the handle 5 foot tries
3 strikes each the 5 foot bugger
Deadly battle, won another

Fang marks on the handle sit
Near my hand where he had bit
Don’t fight old Tiger he may win
Stupidity it is a sin!

Don Johnson

Hindsight says don't play with snakes.
My Tiger was launching 5 foot all his body at me, incredible because he was
racing alongside me at the time.

ROULETTE

My twisted mind
Had everyone blind
No symptoms
Not a single sign!

I want to forget everything,
Living a life of no regrets,
Facing the sun
Ignoring my debts
Wiping of the cold sweat,
Taking another drink from my sweet tea set.

My life, a game of “RUSSIAN ROULETTE,”
there is no positive or negative.

A game of slip and slide,
Opened wide
Put a gun inside
Staring down the barrel
A quick pull trigger, gone sterile
I give thanks to another day.

Madness, I've gone insane
Lots of money down the drain.
Initiated gum pops,
Broken lemons drops,
Tainted temples,
Upon another turn,
I dream of no shame!
Always saying 'NEVER!'
To this life, I scream “WHATEVER!"
HIT ME AGAIN!

Playing
          Russian roulette
          With fate

          Fateful
          The hand that tempts
          And flirts

          Flirting
          With the shadows
          Of death

          Deathly
          Silence that lurks
          And creeps

          Creeping
          Through cobwebbed paths
          Of doubt

          Doubtful
          Uncertainty
          Sets in

          Inner
          Feelings torment
          And gnaw

          Gnawing
          At self belief
          Bleeding

          Blood flows
          Slowly in drips
          It ends

          Ending
          Russian roulette
          With fate

As the dogs led me on our walk, I took a chance and left my raincoat behind despite the threatening clouds. The sky turned from dappled to grey but I stayed dry, although my legs were damp from dogshake after we past the creek.

In the woods, the air was quiet as nervous birds flitted silently from tree to tree, uncertain if they should hunker down to feed for a few more days or move on afore it gets too cold.

Across the border, the wanta be leaders of the flock, all dressed up in party suits, are playing a different game with stakes almost as high. And while I don’t have a vote I sure do hope that Hillary trumps Donald.

Roulette

"Roulette"

unravelling the patterns woven
in the constructs of complexities

dragged out with the tide
washed back in with the tide

the simplicity of the return
seen scattered on the shore

collected, the rare,
by some,

the uwanted,
left behind

the Ocean
takes it back again,

like tokens on a table
deal again, spin the tide

Life's Roulette

It could have been me
whose brains got blown off today.

And it could have been you
 wasted in that high-rise inferno.

But neither one of us,
at least not yet, vaporized as gas.

So let us be merry, drink!
when it comes, smile, don't blink.

Premium Member Roulette' Wheel - Taking Risks

Taking risks

Ride for a fall, we enjoy and relish,
Idea of taking risks in life why not cherish ?
Play with fire, have your heart in front,
Even if you expect to be burnt,

Put your head in lion's mouth,
It's time to prove you are worth,
Dare take the bear by the tooth,
Leave everyone surprised by your youth,

Take a leap in the dark,
Arouse your valiant spark,
Have guts of a gladiator's pledge,
Prove yourself by dancing on the razor's edge !

A roulette' wheel, go for your life,
Be it sorrow or joy, suave or strife !

Russian Roulette Love

You played Russian Roulette with my heart, as if you was playing a game of darts. I didn't known I would be torn apart. Because you were played Russian Roulette with my heart right from the start. First you love me, then you don't. You said you would marry me but you won't. I should have knew you would brake my heart in two, like a con man you knew you was not being true. Because you were playing Russian Roulette with me heart from the start.

  God Bless

Time Is Like Roulette.

The wheel stops for a while
when you choose a number
or color to try your luck.
You win and you lose
and you gamble again.
Time frees you from the burden
of too much of everything.

Die Zeit ist wie ein Gluecksspiel.

Man gewinnt und man verliert.
und versucht immer wieder
das Rad zu drehen,
um das Glueck fuer sich zu finden.
Zeit macht frei von allem,
das zuviel und von allem,
das zu wenig ist.

 Reichtum und Mangel
Zwei anziehende Pole, wir haben
Das Gleichgewicht zu finden.

Playing Russian Roulette With Aurora

At times, you are her: Marilyn, the
misunderstood and damaged goddess.
I fear you will live out her legacy.

Bone color of the moon, you are the
haunting symphony of cicadas,
rhythm of twilight, aroma of dusk.
You have pulled the clouds over my eyes,
and even your lips tell a lie that is often
mistaken for truth.

But you are not a thin magnolia petal;
you are liberal with your love,
given yet undeserved. The unmistakable
cocked gun at the temple has become your
trademark. Is it wrong of me to be inspired
by your lack of discipline, the way you cipher
pain and use it to mold your beauty?

Oh Aurora, I would never take
part in that which drives you; I am
not ready for the bullet. Allow me
to simply kiss you, razor-tongued.

Roulette

Red, black,round and round
Odd, even, come up from down
Unusually crowded around number 9
Luck should have it,she's a favorite of mine
Ever changing the spectrums outter limit
Till zero enfolds the facet jewel within it
Theocentricly believing the fall will come
Exculpating the loss when the evening is done

Bullet For My Valentine ~russian Roulette~

Love is a fifty fifty chance
A coin toss
Either we make it
Or we don’t.

It’s a game of Russian roulette
There will be a time when one of us will get hurt
Someone will eventually be burned
With a fire that can’t be extinguished.

It’s a game of luck
And luck does not fall on my side
This will not end well
So it might as well end for me
To save you from the pain.

I’ll fake a smile
So you won’t be worried
Although you should be relieved
I’m the one who should be crying
I’m the one…
Who deserves to die.

Everything else fades away into the black
Leaving only you and I
Oh how I wish this moment could last for a lifetime
But even this, my dear, even this will fade
And I will fall from this heavenly cloud
Without anyone to catch me.

I’d rather it be me instead
I cringe at the thought of you
Alone
Falling
I’m of little importance
No one would cry
No one would think much of it
Just go on with their lives
Yes I’m glad it was me instead of you
Because watching you die
Now that’s one thing I couldn’t do.

I told you “I love you”
Now I must eat those words
They are a poison
Killing you so
I must suck this poison out in order to keep you alive
These words are bitter
They are hard to swallow
The taste won’t soon leave my tongue
But better me than you.

I won’t forget you
I couldn’t if I tried
I’ll remember you to eternity
My only wish
Is that you could forget me
Forget the pain
Forget the tears
Forget the love
My dear please forget me.

I don’t regret anything
I don’t regret falling in love with you
And I don’t regret taking love’s bullet for you
I’m glad it was me instead of you
Because watching you die
Now that’s one thing I couldn’t do

Russian Roulette

(This is a fictional poem)

My four friends and I did something that we would regret.
We put one bullet in a gun and played russian roulette.
We pulled the trigger when we put the gun to our heads.
My friend got his brains blown out and he's dead.
There was blood and gore on the wall and on the floor.
Because of our stupidity, he's not alive anymore.
It was very traumatizing and because of this experience, I'll never be the same.
Don't try russian roulette, it's a very stupid game.
