The Love of "fall"

F alling in love with Winter; she’s ice cold dressed in snow white lace
A ll the while dating Summer, who’s still sizzling hot
L ove affairs bruised with revengeful reds, oppressed oranges, and yelling yellows
L eaving Summer with a promise to one day rekindle their love

Love Versus Lust

Love is the one-time experience that cannot be measured,
described or forgotten
while lust needs innovation to be boasted about and the other is dumped...

Love is the sensation for lifetime
while lust leaves room for others...

Love is hugged and to be lived with ever after consummation
but lust leaves you wanting for more...

Love fills you with a sweet sensation to be complete
while lust leaves you empty and drained with a hollow
in your heart and soul...

Love gives you a reason to live
while lust leads to self-destruction...

Love gives you something to cherish throughout life
while lust makes you bitter and revengeful...

Love makes you beautiful while lust makes you ugly...

And, Love makes you human while lust makes you inhuman!

Premium Member Hate Provokes Hate

The air splits as jets rip the sky
as death pilots every flight tonight.
And fearing that everyone may die,
panicking people scatter in fright.

Harboring hate, oft levies steep tolls
in the struggle of east versus west.
For martyrs possess revengeful souls,
to that, human bombs can attest.

The sting of a bullet takes a life,
unleashing reality's nightmare.
But, severing a head with a knife,
makes killing a personal affair.

Standing on arrogance, we feel tall
till a mine strikes with its shrapnel bite.
And sold on right, we think we can't fall,
but a boy lies dead, lost to this fight.

Innocent blood spills upon the sands,
among the casualties of war.
And God-fearing souls wash crimson hands,
never knowing what their child died for.

Overcoming Evil With Goodness

Overcoming Evil With Good...

"Do not be overcome by evil,
 but overcome evil with good."
This verse from scripture
 is often misunderstood.

Many tend to "get back" at someone
who's "wronged them."
Whether it be from a stranger... or even a friend.

You cannot fight evil with evil--
this isn't God's plan!
His concept of love and mercy-- you
 need to understand.

Remember the words Jesus said in the beatitudes.
Perhaps this can stop any
"revengeful attitudes."

You were called to be holy--
with Godliness in mind.
To be filled with his mercy...
being gentle and kind.

Rise above whatever evil
may come your way/
Overcome by doing this with
God's goodness... today!

Allow the cross of Christ to be
 lifted up in your life.
Allow his spirit to remove all malice,
 bitterness and strife.

A compassionate and loving person
in you... others will see!
What you do today--will impact your eternity!

An overcomer of evil is often
 difficult to do.
Obey and trust God--
He will see you through!

Premium Member Second Chances

Do you believe that second chances are a way to mend what was broken?
Apologizes are not easily accepted and hardly ever spoken.
Suppose you we’re given another chance to undo all your past mistakes.
Would that alter your life’s fate?
A lot times in my life I wonder where do I belong,
Especially, after I undo all my past wrong.
In life we make a lot of mistakes but we shall learn from them all.
Whether, they are big and small.
Sometimes the truth will never be revealed.
Sometimes the wounds doesn't find time to heal.
It only takes a deep desire to try with all our heart.
It does not take a new day to make a brand new start.
Giving another chance without having a revengeful mind,
It shows humanly compassion and always remembers to be kind.

“Sometimes life gives you a second chance, or even two! Not always, but sometimes. It’s what you do with those second chances that counts.”

Let It Ring

I can hear my soul sing, and my heart is telling me…
“Let it Ring.”
My soul can reach the low notes in the shadows,
And hit the high notes in the sun.

Whether restful or restless, revengeful or regretful,
I will just…
“Let it Ring.”

Helplessly or haphazardly hazing happily high,
Or decenting down with the distorted and the departed and all the rest,
Even louder yet, my soul will still sing, and I will…
“Let it Ring.”

I will pray for the forgiveness of the forgotten few,
Let them be lifted from the depths of the fray,
So our hearts can meet, our souls will sing,
And together, forever,
We will “Let it Ring.”

A Few Nothings

To love someone,
Then, to suddenly hate
Dig own dungeons
Then why blame the fate?

When ‘pen is mightier, than the sword’
Then why do actions, speak louder than words?

Finding answers to unasked questions
Laughing at others
While we fail to understand our own perceptions

Why to ‘Forgive and Forget’
When something makes us cry and upset

‘Silence is Golden’, are words of the weak
When left unheard
Even the dumb shout at the peak

Why ‘better late than never’
Moment lost , can it be earned again ever?

Moments we try to forget
Engrave themselves in our mind

Small things we try to remember
Slip away like sands of time

‘Immortal’ time, away it flies
But every Bird, one day dies

To have all, yet to want more
Even the tides calm down & merge in ground
Once they hit the shore

Why ‘little learning is dangerous’
Was everyone born perfect & gracious?

‘An eye for an eye’ says the revengeful mind,
But then one day,
Won’t the whole world be blind?

Why am 'I' a no one?
Until I stand up
& prove ‘ME’ over someone

We fall again and again
To be learned & wise
But with Bruises and the pain
Isn’t it tough to rise?

Past is said to be ‘gone’
Then why history repeats itself
Future is yet to ‘born’
Then why do we tense ourselves?

If we can do anything
Why can’t we conquer everything?
I guess you pondered over some things
Things you ignored as ‘A Few Nothings’!!!

Premium Member Stepping Stones In Life

I write the following as a letter to myself
For future reference.
I have allowed my passage through life
To be a journey, and so will I continue
Enjoying every second, every minute as the clock ticks
And I go to bed and wake up and do the same
All over again,
And all too soon days, become weeks, become
Months, and then years, which become decades
As I celebrate every New year, remembering
The memories I have made on this wonderful
Trip that we know as life, and the family and
Friends that have passed, and as I look in the
Mirror, I suddenly realize this is perhaps my last few
Moments, minutes, weeks, perhaps months, or a
Year or two left and I hope that I will
Go to heaven, maybe so, for it is only the evil that pay
The price, and it comes at a high cost.
These Human beings, have they repented, or are they
Evil because they know that if they ask for forgiveness
It shall be given, that is what we have been told,
But God is a wrathful God and wanted an eye for an
Eye and a tooth for a tooth,
Would I not want this also if harm came upon my
Loved ones – would I not be revengeful and wrathful,
I think I would, but does that make me bad and not
Made in the image of God. I think not.
I love God and try hard to be an example to others
Unable to clutch at the secrets of today’s happiness.
When I hear, the good, the kind, the loving, the
Giving, the faithful, tears come to my eyes, and
It is like music to my soul, a mere glance at such
A human being brings me comfort and joy,
And a bare soul can convey to me more than any
Alphabet of any language, be wise dear friends,
And grasp at every opportunity in this life, so that
Each one of us, make humanity worth living.

Young Love (For John Loving - Haunted Poets)

Under silver moonlight down a lane of Bradford Pear
Two lovers strolled their hands entwined in gentle love.
Love that tells of innocent hearts and lasting care
Luminescent the harvest moon omniscient above.

White confetti drifting down on sighing breeze,
Who is that watching from the darkest trees?
Burning eyes that speak betrayal of loyal trust
Wicked knife glinting for revengeful thrust.

Gentle lovers lost in moonlight embrace
Drinking deeply of love's honey wine.
Standing on a white carpet of fragile lace
Hearts and minds that gently entwine.

Red confetti swirling on the sighing breeze
Who is gloating from the darkest trees?
Sweet revenge that burns from staring eye
Luminescent the harvest moon in pallid sky.

When walking down a lane of Bradford Pear
You might see two lovers stroll in misty haze,
Beware of who lurks in the shadows there
The heart with hate and revenge ablaze.

                     ***

So Mr. Loving the deed was done so very long ago
Forever repeated under the light of harvest moon.
Go back to sleep for truth will surface in the glow
Of young love that blossomed and ended too soon.

So Matthew Anish please take it from here.

My Ode To Benito Mussolini

Mussolini saved Italy
from a possible Nazi conquest,
he saw an alliance with Germany
as an opportunity to avoid
another horrible Holocaust!

This truth was never told
for fear that the Italian people
would have declared
Il Duce the savior of Italy;
wasn't his decision the smartest
choice he had ever made?

Although Mussolini invaded
many countries, he also
did good deeds; women were
fascinated by his charm,
my mom was one of them...
he was the perfect image
of masculinity and also
of obstentious vanity!

Sadly, Mussolini was hanged
upside down in that Milan's public
square; the Americans wanted
him alive, but his voice
was forever silenced by
the revengeful partisans!

Italy never gave him
the credit and the honor
he deserved, but he was
spat on, kicked and
by a vicious crowd!

I am honoring Benito Mussolini
with my ode for his great
leadership despite his errors;
may History remember him
not as a traitor, but as a savior
and a citizen who loved his country!

The Heavenly Courtroom

The Heavenly Courtroom

“ 14Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. 16Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Heb 4:14-16 NIV

Will you be found guilty
Or will your name be vindicated?
Will you ask Jesus to be your Saviour—
A life that’s exonerated?
The Courtroom in Heaven—
Is daily set in motion.
The Accuser known as Satan—
Seeks to gain his revengeful portion.

When the seven plagues of Revelation—
Start on earth to fall,
Judgment has concluded—
Each case decided for one and all.
Is your name written—
In the Lamb’s Book of Life?
Are you covered by Christ’s righteousness,
Or Satan’s fateful knife?

Christ is our High Priest above—
In the Heavenly Sanctuary.
He intercedes for His sheep,
Following His sacrifice on Calvary.
In the Heavenly Courtroom,
He stands in our place.
When covered by His righteousness,
We receive His saving grace.

Will you ask Him for forgiveness,
So that your Saviour can stand;
Successfully pleading your case,
All guilt to disband?
The Accuser is persistent—
He wants your vindication,
But Christ stands in your place—
To offer you exoneration!

Premium Member Five Fraught Faces

Buried beneath blood-shot baby doll eyes
where drowns dark truths dwelling empty despair,
finds five fraught faces from false idol lies
 clinging cold-coffins caused by cruel affair;
Saddled by sorrow seen in mother’s stare,
washed while awaiting where water is filled
 pouring in porcelain planned to be killed;

Languishing lost lacking warmth much less love,
 ended in eerily foul episodes,
 angrier now than Almighty above
 mumbling murmurs in murderous modes;
Ripe for wrongs reversed through revengeful roads,
tantalized terrors too tempted to taste
 blood brought by bathwater boiling in baste;

Chastised and chided, these children chilling
journey for justice with jealous intent,
 mystically moving, maddened minds milling,
 howling horrific while haunting content;
For sins suffered by souls salvation bent,
never they rest now, now nestled in night,
 purposed, their plight, seeks parents punished right;

Aiming as arrows at any ones found,
 dripping disgust at desolate devils,
grumble gigantic than gnash to the ground
 lustfully lashing in lunatic levels;
As rancid bells heard, rusted rung rebels,
thoroughly thrashing throats within their reach,
fifty fingers, if figured, ten for each.

And why wouldn’t what withered weary do,
dragged desperate to death by der’lict brain,
taught terrible things when tongues tied untrue
 incited mother inside turned insane?
Silence should swallow who speaks sour on slain,
judgments be gentle, gestate not Hell’s gates,
for these are the children of Andrea Yates.

My Parting Gifts

Three tall men in dark shades,
pulled up my door in an unmarked bus and rang my bell;
their clothing was quite classy,
they looked in their early forties;
and with drawn guns they made me feel like a criminal...
Was I some monster of society?

They approached me hastily and with arrogance they surrounded me
by displaying their golden badges, " It's the FBI, you must come with us...
you have five minutes to say goodbye to your family! "
They wouldn't let me speak, or think of a silly lullaby.
I ran inside and hugged Angela and mother who had frightened faces;
I was told my rights, then they handcuffed me and whisked me away;
" Take care of mother, Angela...tell her I'll be back, even though it's a lie! "
Stay away from Pete is a rat! Never make a comment to incriminate me! "

On the way out, neighbors gave me dubious looks...not believing their eyes;
some whispered, " I thought he was a nice guy! " What has he done? "
I saw Sam staring, he had a revengeful look on his tattooed face of gore,
" You will pay for this, freak! You called the Feds and set me up, they are lies! "
And he kept on laughing, dancing on his feet as my rage increased my heartbeat;
and he had the audacity to tell me, " Enjoy your stay at the Federal Prison, idiot! "
