Jumping For Joy - Jadazzle Are Finally Reunited

Jan and Daz are so so happy
United are Jadazzle
Many months have passed
Poetry writing has been put on hold
It's been over a year... but we
Never gave up believing we would write together
Good times are just around the corner

Friendship oh so strong
Overt faith in each other
Radiating from united hearts

Joyous in our reunion
Optimism will be our byword
Yesterday is but a memory

12th August 2015

This is our first poem in about 14 months - writing together again was a dream that has finally come true - Jadazzle are well and truly reunited.

Premium Member Meet Me There

Meet me there ...
Be it rain or shine,
Since I like both
Any weather is fine

Find me there ...
With those already met,
To mingle there ...
With ones I haven't yet

In a good place where
We can laugh and smile,
And talk to the ones
Not seen in awhile

I'll be going there
When my time comes,
I'll be waiting there
With my old chums

Promise me now ...
You will cry no tears,
And meet me there
In one hundred years.

Premium Member Separation of a Seasoned Love

What, if any, shall my love be; if tho is not there in the meadow of our season? Will our love wilt as flowers do in the burning sun without thy water to sip into its roots? Shall we not meet by the tree in the meadow of our love? But, if it is not ordained, how so may it go forth, in the bloom of the day of our meadowed love seasoned? I do miss thee, when we are parted from us, in our meadows; seasoned love.

Separation of a Seasoned Love

Our love is, but, just a separation,
For just a bit longer from one another.
For our souls still,
Danced in the moonlight of our season of love.

Oh, how I've missed our time
Spent physically with one another.
The anticipation of us again in the heavens,
Exciting the taste of our beauty we had the chance to live.

My love, until we are reunited;
I shall count the seconds till our harmony;
And, is together, and once again regained.
My love for Him is forever eternal,
Faithful, as the love that once lived here.

Rest my love,
May our Lord shine on our beauty,
And again, by mornings dew;
Shall we be together again?

Painting ~ Return of the Prodigal ~ Il Guercino

Returning from the land of my rebellion,
in rags that reek of pigs and sweat and mud.
Now penniless, I’ve been a hell-bent hellion,
wasting the fortune of my flesh and blood.
But now considering my distant father;
how could I dare to think he’ll have me back?
I’ll plead to serve as slave and be no bother;
even his hired workers have no lack.
I journey home rehearsing all I’ve done:
“Father, I’ve sinned against heaven and you –
No longer worthy to be called your son.”
My voice goes numb when home comes into view.
My fears fly when I see my father’s face
and weep in his forgiving, kind embrace.

The Reunited States of America

Dark clouds on the horizon the hour is quite late.
As I ponder my destiny and wonder my fate.
The foundation of my life was set in soft sand.
With no guidance from above where does one take a stand.
The pressures of life can be so unjust.
That is why he is called Savior, in our lives He is a must.
The roads that we travel sometime seem to never end.
Filled with pain and heartache around every bend.
We didn’t come with guarantees or promises of good things.
We dictate most of what our tomorrows will bring.
God sat down certain rules all men should follow and keep.
If we choose not to follow then don’t get mad at what you reap.
The baby boomers now we’re starting to learn.
To pay for the keep we must get out there and earn.
We’ve let to many things get out of control.
We’re not standing up to the task nor fulfilling our roles.
Where once there were heroes .
Have they left us forever only God knows?
We’ve gotten our self into an unusual state.
For what once was a given has been removed as of late.
We idly stand by as our lives they destroy.
Are we really that blind or are we being just coy?
It’s time we reunite and set our priorities straight.
The ReUnited States of America shall be our new fate.
Democracy and freedom they all come with a price.
When is death pretty, when is it nice?
That is why bravery and courage should be rewarded and shown.
To all our brave children and the battles they’ve known.
Give them the credit no matter the cost.
And pray for the families of the fallen and lost.

Reunited

She knew her life was through,
But wasn’t scared to die;
She closed her pain filmed eyes,
Her final breath a sigh.

Her husband took her hand,
And whispered, ‘ Welcome, dear.
It’s been so very long -
We won’t be parted here.’

Reunited In Death

Death eternal rest
Eyes forever veiled from thee
Love, Again we meet

Love Reunited

Hey there friend!
Long time no see
I'm still around
Whenever you need me.
I know it's been a while
Since we last talked
And even longer
Since we last walked
Together down the hard road
Even when we weren't getting along
Just a matter of miscommunication
Being on different pages of the song.
Here we are once again
Standing at the fork in the road
Allow me to help you this time
And share the burden of your load.
We have to pull together
Not push apart
We can take this road one step
At a time and mend our broken hearts.
It wasn't easy when I first saw you
I just wanted to turn away
Then Jesus intervened and opened my eyes
I didn't know what to say.
I did thank Him though
For sending you back to me
Even after all this time
Things will be different, you'll see.
What I'm trying to say
Is now I know
Why it was
You had to go.
It was too painful
For you to stay
As we remained
Set and steadfast in our ways.
Neither one of us willing to give in or
Give up nor wanting to budge
Instead we acted like children
And chose to hold a grudge.
Now that the tension
Has finally been broken
Can we put the past behind us
And let the negative remain unspoken?
We've been given a second chance
To try and set things straight
We have to live for this moment
Before it's too late.
So what do you say?
Let's try this again
And stick with it
Until the very end.

Reunited Love

Always felt in my heart, we were in ...........Love
Tried my best to express, but got..............delayed
Wonder, if any chance there......................is
To express my feelings now, for you my......love
I brazenly agree, my love for you, I...........denied

Guilty, I am of this evil called.....................Machismo
More to blame, is my lust to fame...............and
the fury to steady my future.......................career
These materialistic needs clearly.................impairs
The simplistic need of my heart's................vision

Let us put aside the past and stay................Reunited
Never realized, I was always yours, my.........love
Promise, I shall remain true to you...............forever
Fire, our passions, to always brightly............remain
Forever fresh, as, at the start, our love.........sublime

Loved Ones Reunited

Loved ones reunited after almost 37 years to the day,
So much time to make up for, so many things to say.

Tell him about your children, grandchildren and the great,
Tell him how you missed him but how it was worth the wait.

You made so many memories and now it's time to share,
Us with those in this world, you with those up there.

These memories will keep us close when world's keep us apart,
Remember with a smile what's forever in our hearts.

Finally together, husband and wife,
Making up for every moment, missed here, in this life.

Love Reunited

A long journey passing in this two love individual,
The essence that has been gone for a long time to
Be with someone who truly love.

The passing time moves in a different way,
The long rocky road, the wave of every journey
The process of learning of things happening around
Control and uncontrolled by itself. The distance,
The substance, the destiny belong by its journey
That they travel a long experience to
Determine the genuine feeling to someone
That never been change, that never been forgotten,
That never been lost in every step of the way
Turning and circling of time.

Every journey it takes that gives meaning to grow
To become, to recognize the details, to value
The implication of things in the past,
The present and in the future ahead of life.

'Till we meet again, to start a new, to live with you
In a satisfying love and meaning of a good life.

I will embrace the beauty of this journey
Of a TRUE LOVE.

Love Reunited

He'd let her slip through his grasp
How many silver moons had flew past
Yet their Love did still last.

Emotions flood the page
Damns that held felt the shock
Loves effect on hearts of rock.

Seeds of Love to natures plow
Time-crossed lovers take your bow
Heavens doors shall open now.

So much Love to fill a page
Across the world hearts did race
The sweet Love we shall make.

To hold you close like in my heart
To be with you life can start
 even if we may depart.

Reunited

Upon the red glaze
And fires of haze
Through the hatred of light
Burned internal fight

Injustice and chaos
Bleed from the loss
Rotten and consumed
The poor soul was doomed

Pierced was the heart
Now poisoned the part
Hammering and pounding
Did the darkness sting

Through the mortal being
Without another seeing
Cast deep within shadows
Life thread come to a close

Down upon his knees
Without a beg or please
Long awaited Death's sweet whisper
Soon to be forever with her

Premium Member Reunited

Pretty young girl, in school and pregnant
Sixteen-year old mother, just a teen
Birthed a daughter and named her Edith
Had to give her up, it broke her heart
Through the years, she never forgot her
August third their anniversary
Inside she’d weep her birthday wishes
Sometimes she’d even light a candle
Atop a little frosted cupcake
She’d count aloud the years their passing
Imagine her wee one all grown up
This went on until she got married
Soon she started her new family
And she named her eldest son Eddy
No coincidence by any means
She wore her heart upfront on her sleeve
Without guile, she was an open book
Little Edith belonged here as well
Birthday cake on every August third
One night Edith did receive a call
No way could she sleep one wink that night
Aging, her biological mom
Had at last found her and wished to meet
So they reconvened and mended hearts
Now August third had come full circle
Her whole family reunited
Soon she could die peaceful and fulfilled

Reunited In Spirit

Boundaries are there none
Twin flames rise to meet
Eternal reconnection
Dance to the hearts beat

As mirrors do reflect
Truth found in another's eye's
Forever in the light
Removed the dark’s disguise

Space and time unite
Perfect harmony do they sing
With perfect composition
A new world do they bring

Released are the demons
Once thought to hold control
No longer are you broken
Faith restored, now whole

No more are you weary
Battles all been fought
Each step of the journey
Rewards, with knowledge sought

Dance can you now
Flame eternal does grow
Reunited in spirit
Holds all you need to know
