Best Restate Poems
Memories often come to mind
through anything that we may find
perhaps, collected in a box
stowed away as time tick tocks
A jewelry box to be exact
is what exemplifies this fact
and as I muse in reverie
I see how much it means to me
A tiny , simple band of gold
bestowed when I was one year old
enclosed in my first birthday card
still lovely now, though a bit scarred
My first initial ring is there
on Onyx, Silver has such flair
the perfect thing I speculate
for any well dressed boy of eight
And then for graduation day
a lovely diamond came my way
it sparkled so to maximize
the gleam of pride in grandma’s eyes
I”ll not forget that Tiger’s Eye
a Christmas gift, the last goodbye
For grandma left us all that year
a sad reminder resting here
So many gems commemorate
the years of love that I restate
they shine as if to speak to me
reflections of my history
The box is full of thoughts renewed
but mostly full of gratitude
with one to add when I retire
I think I’ll buy a Star Sapphire

The Sermon
You must be mistaken has it slipped your mind
Allow me to explain it to you one more time
I’ll never leave God…again I say never
Even though your temptation is relentless and clever
Your invites will cease if you only listen
There is no pact between demons and Christians
No treaties of peace where white flags are waved
No praying for pagans so they can be saved
No contract with Satan that I will be signing
There can be no truce between hyenas and lions
Don’t think I don’t notice with my screening eyes
That your spirit is wicked and you mouth’s full of lies
How you offer false hope with silver and gold
All of the things that poisons men souls
I thought I made it clear and you understood
That there is no alliance between evil and good
I have no interest in any unholy
I’ll restate my case for those who don’t know me
In the book by my Father—the bible, it’s written
There is no forgiveness for demons by Christians
Say what you want; call me a liar
And I’ll watch you from Heaven while you dance in the fire
You have been warned of your sinful desires
Stripped of your wealth you worked hard to acquire
Thought you were so smart and you could sneak through
But God knows your heart…He’s watching you
In the depths of your mind even you know
There is only one place where you’re destined to go
Below the crust where the heathens hold mass
In a fiery blast off sulfur and gas
In Revelations there is a vision
All demons will lose the war fought by Christians
So you read the bible; the devil does too
You can recite the scriptures; so can a fool
All the earth’s sinners are welcome to church
All the pretenders live under the dirt
Don’t ruin your future by blaming your past
God will forgive you; all you need do is ask
He will expose the true you inside
And all your intentions that you desperately hide
You talk the talk but your walk isn’t straight
The hour is near and you’re running late
May God have mercy on you

One may say that a day filled with magic,
Might stir up something described as taboo,
And if that be the case, then we must lose,
The subject matter, ergo, must change soon,
So that we may progress and show redress,
That starts off a plain good sort of a shift.
We can start anew with all the redress,
And anticipate that will happen soon,
So that we have no more talk of taboo,
Nor of the folly of what we may lose,
Though we be at fault, show of contrition,
May suffice, and we come out like magic.
Yet, in the long run, I fear things may shift,
And we may be hanging on a thread soon,
We must make every effort not to lose,
And restore our composure like magic,
So I restate, a show of contrition,
Is paramount, and a show of redress.
We will have no more talk about taboo,
Nor we have no more talk that we may lose,
We will fight with optimistic magic,
So that we can all change back just as soon,
With a full on spirit of contrition,
And all go back towards a normal shift.
So now we must be up to par real soon,
We must remain collective and not lose,
Lest we fail and haunts us like a taboo,
And then we start to lose all that magic,
Then we have no more talk of this and shift,
Positively, a show of contrition.
Before I conclude, talk of contrition,
Remains a priority, and a shift,
In a positive direction and soon,
Will lay to rest the spirits of taboo,
And bring about an air full of magic,
Then restore our confidence not to lose.
Contrition soon bring about the magic,
and for us not to lose sight of our shift,
towards a redress with the taboo gone.

ancient hope
a moderately heavy mass of emergent winds, kick up sleeping debris from the surrounding space, spreading its floating carpet, singing in concert with sultry wings, humid and upwardly ascending, gathering behind it a light dusty snow shower of bitter loess, of tiny things, the soil of flesh sinew and bone, of cause and effect, of ages that have fallen away, echoing, buried deep within, far-flung fading cries, silently settling low.
herein lies a prehistory of things, events unknown, slurried in imagination, untenable, sure of almost nothing, the strata of movement, upheaval in reverse motion, nature singing its eternal cry, cyclic, a randomness in chaos builds to a crescendo of brilliant flashes, all photon- energetic, where mineral flotsam radiates outward forming obscure patterns, falling in space, finding place as if by intrinsic design, where oh where is that idiomorphic template not seen?
of wandering magi, of fading sand trails, of swollen feet and the everlasting verve that tugs at the heels, pushing one forward to that acid moment, strangled in the dust of vanity, crawling to the utmost height where the fall of sands, grain on grain, restate their inability to bond fast, washing over and out into the depths where a proto-historic humility silently sleeps covered, quiet and alone.
there are tools in the heart of the earth, a broadband principle of collective accumulations, scattered here and there, everywhere, no obvious settlement map; the white noise as drone amongst the minerals and biologic debris, commingling with an earnestness to bond further afield, scaffolding across great divides, as time shrivels with movement, hampering the curious eye of they who search within, the inquisitive nose sniffing up musty ridden time, the cranky deposits pay no attention, their work is done.

Life right now is a sorry state
But at times its been great
I'd be okay except for Fate
Upon my nerves she does grate
Don't like her but I wouldn't sat hate
If I do she'll add more freight
Trust me boys, no good blind date
If I say more she'll be irate
Out the door running late
The car I drive it's a crate
Hope it starts without debate
I'll be lucky if it goes straight
Down the road at a terrible rate
Missing a kid, a car, a gate
Don't slow down I will tailgate
Cop on my tail my plans deflate
Steps from his car at six-foot-eight
Badge on his chest shining gold plate
Walking up with his steady gate
Thank you sir here's your court date
Before the courtroom I'm prostrate
Judge got mad chopped me as bait
Now stuck in jail, thought I'd skate
Ten more days until I pass that gate
One more time I will restate
Understand I won't translate
No matter what you think of Fate
You don't want her for your soulmate

Interesting talk
Restate again and again
It's okay to hear
Rise many issues
Forecasting hundred matters
But nothing realized
Fascinating tone
Wish to see the rain from clouds
But the ground stills dry
Appealing slogans
People notice and witness
Such a fun talk show
Colorful flowers
Viewers take a deep inhale
The unscented outcome

Try to create a stacked rhyme;
My new elate! Play whacked chimes
High. Few relate! Days lacked time's
Eyes too. Restate ways facts climb.
Guys, who debate paid back dimes,
Buy dues we hate. Stay! Track crimes
By clues. See fate lay tact primes.

The façade of a deeply thought out
reply
and crafted remembrance,
seems to have invited a
shuddersome crush inside of me
Only indulges the edges of
my wayward memories,
best left behind
The rest stays inside
where swirls of rested reviews
restart my innocence anew,
and calls your name
…as if I’ve never known
A gamely consideration…
cast this side of love
measures and invites
my neglected best
to create a new pattern of trust…
that I simply cannot fathom
For us to see inside
and drive a lasting vow
requires of me to tie a new bow
inside out
Restate your questions
before they’re known
Reply to ponderances that
you may ask
And look inside
before I lose myself to answers
that you wouldn’t pose
Shine the beads that lose their
spark inside your shadow
And soundly stack the shiny
beads
Till they only beam inside
of me

This is year I shall have love divine
My heart from sin will be set free
I will abolish vices especially wine
My heart I shall only offer it to she
The wife, who gave me children one two three.
Human hearts cleave so quickly
Their spirit longs with ardent hate
Jealousy and spite lies thickly
This year I hope they become straight
The heart full of love they must restate.
This year we shall hear God’s true voice
Concentrate and listen all shall be revealed
Love thy neighbour and you shall rejoice
No more killings in the street in the field
Like Christ on the cross you will be healed.

Who's the one you hate, With all your heart
Want to see Him/Her Drop dead? Would you give your soul?
Anynight, 12:00 to 3:00 A.M., Consult your demons...
On paper w/ Red Sharpie draw a pentagon, leaev a smoke trail.
Want to kill an Enemy would you sell your soul?
Gather Negitive Energy, Gather the Forgotten Horrors
Simple direction, Just restate the resurection
Pray your hardest, mean it deeply and true...
"Oh Satan My Lord, Please destroy my soul....
Destroy any and any chance of light from my life!"
Repeat if nessasary... Pray your leigon hard and true....
Keep your head down, Ignore the crashing, Don't Look in the Mirror.
His Voice is strong, but don't be scared....
Don't look in the mirror, Disrespect isn't taken kindly..
Would you destroy your soul, TO Destroy an Enemy?
Say the name of the victim six times, after the "events" happen/
Remember, Respect, Dont look into the mirrors...

Thank You for rejuvenating my health for my kingdom-service refining
Recreate me against my stubbornness by Your sovereign governing…
Ready me for Your glorious returning along my divine yearning.

Death was A Nice Idea,
So, Chief became “My Dear”:
Suicide for Breathless State
Straight to Satan’s Estate;
There to my case restate
Boss with Heat rewrite fate…
Death was the Fine Idea:
With Lifelessness no fear,
I wouldn’t for Nurse wait,
The Steroids hold as Great,
A Doctor like God rate
And start comparing Weight…
Death was the Crisp Idea:
Life has proved Another Spear:
Always Airways leave clean
To off hold Shaming Scene!

Hey Academic,
throw me some facts
Explain to me clearly
each thought you attack
Dear Intellectual,
restate and rephrase
Your version of truth,
empty words in the fray
Hello Professor,
is the poison pill done
Refilled with your venom
to spread to the young
And lastly the Critic
who stands by the wall,
Humpty Dumpty awaiting
your push to then fall
While open minds sit
in the cold and the rain,
Your cowardly torrents
bring nothing but pain
To all those so cloistered,
divorced from what’s real
Perdition your tenure
—inflamed to repeal

Listen to my voice; I will be your God and you shall be my people. Walk exactly in the way I command you, so that you may prosper. But they did not listen to me, or did they pay attention.
Jerimiah 7:23-24
God the Father sent instructions to His children-His chosen people
For their own good
Yet their poor choices led to heart breaking consequences
Too often
That has described me too
So now
One of my life’s goals is to shorten the distance between what God asks of me
My actual doing it
God’s first counsel here is: Listen
Active listening is something we all can practice
By offering a concerted effort to hear what is being communicated
Before adding new thoughts to the conversation
The hearer carefully repeats back what was said
Try it
What I heard you say is…
Active listening allows the speaker to restate their part
If not yet fully understood
While offering the receiver a chance to get it right

There are lines we recall from literature
As in escaping "by the skin of my teeth"
That we owe to the bible, in this case, to Job
(not "job", a Biblical Book by that name, chapter 19)
II
Psalm 29 today, as we close 2019, offers
A few other literary familiars, not verse one ...
But O, verse 2, says it all: in matters of Him:
"worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness" -
Of course, there are times when God "thundereth"
As in verse 3 - but notice how David writes "The voice"?
III
In that verse, "The voice of the LORD is upon the waters" ...
"The voice of the LORD is powerful," - not always loud (verse 4)
Next: "The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars"
The equivalent of the Cedars of Lebanon are our Sequoia,
Those giant Redwood trees, wider than highways!
Again in verse 7: "The voice of the LORD divides the flames" -
May I, aspirant pastor, restate: God 's voice divides the lightning fire!
And, "The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness,"
That needs shaking; until all is shaken, none can stand
Before the tetragrammaton, Holy One called YHWH
Verse 9: "The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve."
There are two additional verses clearly speaking of His power,
But I bless Holy Spirit as author, behind human hands ...
That His voice has quiet power. Do you hear His quiet voice?
We might easily miss it, less omnipotent, more omnipresent,
That still small voice, its rectitude & guidance, making us different
