When above the high sea in tempest
Surging thunderous cloud swells
The pole star disappears from the sky
The ancient mariner in me loses the bearing.

In dormant senses hope prevails
For the halcyon horizon will rise again
In the sunburst tranquil dawn
Delineate the chromatic shore yonder.

As my footsteps lose the rhythm of certainty
In the tortuous track called life
Leading me toward dismal wilderness
I revive the faith latent within me.

I make to myself an ardent promise
To run a long marathon race
Reach surely the winning position
At the end of the painful pursuit.

When I am lost in the labyrinth of living
Search for the escape route
But find the exit doors close one by one,
I then discover the hidden compass.

I follow the invisible trail of trust
Feel the resurgence of fortitude
For at the end of the tormenting tunnel
I see the light of freedom finally appear.

As the sunshine day fades out fast
The twilight sky falls with depressing dusk
I don’t forget that the sun should sink
To rise with surreal splendor again.

I wait for the heavenly hues to saturate me
And inspire the Phoenix concealed within
To rise from the dust of distress
In the divine dawn of renascence.

Civility is a characteristic I wish to revive
Long dormant in our society, it is so rare
Since we all live together trying to survive
Let’s be nice to each other, showing we care.

I know everything is not sugar and spice
And into “every life some rain must fall,”
But, for heaven’s sake, can’t we be nice,
And get along with each other, after all.

Being polite and courteous in all we do
Not getting involved with the dross of life
Just showing kindness with a smile or two,
Helps us to avoid any pettiness and strife.

Treating others as we like to be treated
Is the Golden Rule, a foundation for civility
Some folks strike out, feeling mistreated,
But being civil is within everyone’s ability.

"All the peaceful beauty of nature's renascence I find poetic."

                                              Quote by _Constance

Autumn's_
faded decay
is resting under winter's cold white cloak;
waiting quietly for spring's rebirth
when awakening comes to the maple, birch and oak,
and the birds sing with mirth;
the flowers are giving birth,
awakening_
Soon, the forest has an emerald sway
and rain will soak
the earth,
on a restoration day,
in a stream a frog will loudly croak,
and all the ravage of autumn and winter will be gone.
While in a clearing stands a fawn,
and on a hidden forest pond glides a swan.
Oh, poetic renascence_

Renascence

Dilapidated bulges bore in vain,
Counterproductive methods confirmed risk,
Drawing boards experienced once again,
Twilight oils burn onward past midnight's brisk.

The regeneration of the dormant,
The sedentary rejuvenated,
Characters clash excellent performant,
Old guards revised and emancipated.

The abandoned surrender willingly,
Causation of being its impetus,
The change serves its purpose meaningfully,
Portal outbreaks fictions of stimulus.

Energies perform on high Pegasus,
Directives laid down eyes regenesis.

Quickened soul
revived by grace
divine…
now yields to God
Who grants life freedom
eternal
bliss-filled
vanquishing
death sting!
Triumphant
midst faith might
reaching-out with love
new creation in Christ…
I’m
born-again,* so blest!

*John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Renascence

To nod off
gently by the
suns kiss

that trickles down
my face and my smile
and perchance

to blend
a hue of
colors

and my mind
is grasping
no longer dormant

I’m awake and feeling
the
seizing of the day!

Lord, I need the quickening of my soul
…such is divine renascence
only made possible by Your compassion
for me to be alive with regeneration-touch
while trusting You for my iniquities’ pardon
toward freedom from sin-condemnation
assured with Your eternal security; grateful, now and forever.

Lord, ensure me Your revival* for my transformation
… of renascence sublime
so I can stay strong in Christ’s triumph
while yielded to Your purging
that sanctifies my walk along paths of righteousness
guarded from human nature’s vanity
upheld by Your omnipotence upon blessed servanthood.

Lord, listen to my plea for faith’s awakening
… spiritual renascence indeed
while I set my gaze for kingdom advancement
fire up my zest in sharing the Gospel
vanquish my lukewarm devotion
due to apathy and arrogance
imprison me to abide in Your perfect will.

Lord, keep on propelling my renewal pursuits
 … renascence that’s heavenly
in bringing the lost to the Saviour -
the truth, life, and way
make me prayerful, humbly seeking Your face
teach me as I learn from discipleship endeavours
drive me from selfishness to stay in Your peace.

Lord, sustain always my restoration-joy
… for constant wondrous renascence
beyond the celestial against the ephemeral
through Your loving admonition, clearly instructive
that enables me to radiate virtuous light
while I persevere midst faithful stewardship
in exalting Your name from my worshipful heart.

*Isaiah 57:15 - For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

It will come-
This renascence
this change
and sweet rebirth
triumph and new dawn.
Just be still
and wait
find your strength
silence
and courage
Write your dreams
and pen your sorrows
let your words be birds that
fly
so set your words free.

Renascence, commence
Out with the old
It’s time for the phoenix
The embers grow cold

Renascence, intense
Shedding one’s skin
Slough off the layers
And try to begin

Renascence, immense
No little change
Break it all down
A complete rearrange

Renascence, effulgence
Let it all shine
I could not have done it
Without the divine

Renascence

Its boughs spread like a giant umbrella,
Its girth, like the span of many hands,
Its foliage was lustrous green and exuberant,
Its roots dispersed like the tentacles of an octopus.

This tree stood tall and strong,
It stood against the tides of seasons,
It withstood fierce winds,
It swirled and danced to their rhythms.

It was the admiration of many people,
They praised and talked about its resilience,
Children played around it until sunset,
Travellers took refuge under its shade,
Others took parts of it for herbs and spices.

Nobody knew what it went through on the inside,
Little cuts metamorphosed into deep wounds,
Tiny slashes transformed into intense lacerations,
These were recalcitrant to healing.

There was a raging storm,
It passed through the town,
It shook everything to its foundation,
It pulled down and ripped apart,
This tree bowed to its wake.

A part of it held the forte,
It only took a while,
After spring,
There was an awakening,
It sprouted and budded again.

Transcendental Renascence

   How to build
   when every field
           yields
      disappointment
     in each assignment ?

       Sure victory ending in defeat!
       Trust and dependence showed deceit.
        Devoted to explore.
        But efforts are ignored.

     Talked to self to realise.
     In vain I do analyse.
     Deprived when justice expected.
      Even sacrifice disrespected.

Simply I gave up all hope.
       No search for further scope.

                But!
                Debut
        of Ultimate recovery:
          My sudden discovery!
          Final remedy!
          All ready
        for my felicitation,
as I stopped rushing and vacillation.
         Transcendental renascence
           on ethereal essence.

I tucked out the earth with both my shaky arms.
I sighed out loudly till a sob terrified me to death.
A giant heart touched me with my final breath.
No dark disguise, by God, can hide this charm.

The earth is heart-shaped, and heaven is above.
Beyond pure joy, souls might encounter God.
They refuse to split, or the sun sets over a trod.
The heart can pulsate water rise and earth move.

Deathly sleep at the mercy of brutality.
The Earth's ultimate radiance was lost.
All the huge hope ever to be given had a cost.
His once proud world was ruined by humanity.

A haughty beast has conquered the earth.
A world where neither love, life, nor death matter.
His conduct was utterly impolite and shatter.
No friendship, no religion, not a shred of worth.

He usually came to a halt due to his torn feet.
He hefted a broken metal remnant in his hand.
Looking everywhere to find the burgundy land.
Throw it away and proceed without deceit.

I asked the stranger why he was there, instead.
Where does battered earth gaze up at the stars?
It might be a gift from a loyal friend of the arms.
I caught sight of his eyes as he tilted his head.

What are you seeking with those epic eyes?
I urged once more where the false heroes fell.
Faith is always and forever buried and can tell.
For steel, he urged to design a blade of surprises.

Trees absorb autumn’s color spectrum bright,
paint the leaves with crimson and golden glow.
The gilded leaves leave the brown boughs fallow
of the stripped deciduous trees upright,
dancing to the swan song of winter white.
Decay disguises revival, they know.
Spring returns with spur of resurgent show,
in tawny trees new leaves sprout in delight.

Storm of gloom wrecks my heart, turns it bare tree.
Dismal dusk descends with the sunset sky,
remembers the sun sinks to again rise.
I will wait for my spring to revive me.
From distress dust Phoenix’s rise, I’ll descry
at dawn of renascence with no surprise.
