There Are No Bounds To Where We Poets Go

Where on Earth or far beyond do we poets go, you ask.
My thoughts willingly stretch my imagination with this task.
I would reply...in any direction our ink chooses to flow.
To the light of dawn or to dark telltale shadows of Poe
There are no boundaries that could rein in a poet's mind,
even if we have the mournful misfortune of going blind.

A poet is not harnessed by sight like a horse to a carriage.
From memory our vision serves us in a sort of marriage,
a bond without rings and vows that gives us wings to fly
among stars, or to realms a common man cannot descry.
To know sin's sorrow, we would walk through a fiery hell
if it would give us the insight that living could not quell.

Inspiration is our weapon, feathered arrows we shoot,
aiming for the rhyming words and chasing in hot pursuit.
Though our muse flees, and crumbled pages lie at our feet,
our mind struggles in unrest but will not concede defeat.

On ventured missions, traveling where our hearts will lead.
Among distant galaxies, where we collect poetic seed
to plant in fertile delta land or in sandy deserts on Earth,
cultivating cogent lines, to which our scribing gives birth.
Fathering or mothering verses from infancy to fruition.
Editing until at last, our brainchild is worthy of submission.

We see far beyond mundane realities of life and reason.
Writing from the heart, rebuking the penalty of treason.
We wind through mazes of each personal poetic anecdote.
Exposed is our nakedness in each lyrical line we ever wrote.

I dedicate this poem to Thomas Cunningham,
who I admire for the tales he tells in poetry form.

MUTINY

I stands at the bow
Proud to lead
I get the first catch
and splash
Pretense while I breathe
as if our lips our sealed together
in this hallowed breeze
The skill of his hands
that masterfully guide
the ship to the seas
My intricate gown
he sees only in his dreams
as he feels the form
underneath
with his intrepid heart
His feet firmly planted
on deck,
this captain of mine,
steers the ship
He must think of the coins
the greed, the gold
under the nose
of his crew
They often smirk
and besmirch his name
under tobacco’d breath
and the stench
of a whore’s perfume
My hair is in disarray,
I dread his fate
under the hallowed moon
The thunder roars
from a shotgun
into the air it soars
In chains, he’s still in charge,
his thoughts for me alarmed
I’m pale and soaked,
the downpour mad
And so am I
My knees bend
My hands fold
My head bound
to see you through
You stand at the brawny depths
where the sirens roar,
where tremendous teeth
and hideous fins
nearly frighten you
I beg for your pardon,
plead for your soul
The head shark
leans in with stain’d fangs
mercilessly mocking,
tearing up the captain
with dead man tales
The compass spins
wildly as the traitor
vehemently describes
the fishbait before his eyes
The treasured bride
asks for a trade
her life for his
The sand sinks her knees
“No, no, Josephine!”
her sisters on her trail
“Take ours, us two,
save both of them!”
The Lord wipes his tears
and takes the dears
into his arms,
safe from the storm
The tables turn
as a sail
slices the air
rebuking the mutiny
and the crew they stare
as their daring
is circled and bit...
one arm, one leg,
one ear at a time
They’ve seen nothing like this
Then their eyes open
A light from the bow
They rub their eyes
but still they see the captain’s bride
She smiles like the crystal sea
She waves and disappears
The crew drops their gear,
unties the captain,
begs mercy,
unless they go down with the ship!

Lord, thank You for saving…
…my condemned life that was bound to hell
By Your grace, excelling compassionately well
With Your redemption* so that in heaven I can surely dwell
Transforming me from rebelliousness thru the Gospel!

Lord, thank You for rescuing…
…my sinful soul from the lake of fire
By Your love, fulfilling the perfect sacrifice You did require
With Your pardon acquitting me from penalty of sin’s mire
Making me Your child, tamed by Your kindness that doesn’t expire!

Lord, thank You for winning…
…my arrogant nature from filthiness
By Your mercy, vanquishing evil and wickedness
With Your justification for my righteousness
Enabling me to strive for holiness!

Lord, thank You for prevailing over…
…my vain faith in false religion
By Your Scriptures, rebuking every idolatrous region
With Your truths to free me from abomination’s dungeon
Snatching me from the devil’s deceiving legion!

Lord, thank You for converting…
…my deceitful heart midst pride’s deadly cost
By Your humility, reaching out to the lost
With Your power and might of the Holy Ghost
Leading me to submit to You, serving with my best and utmost!

Lord, thank You for cleansing…
…my self-willed personality from carnality’s impurity
By Your sanctification, purging every worldliness, and vanity
With Your purification from any iniquity
Blessing me in obeying Your authority!

Lord, thank You for driving…
…my uncertain future to Your direction from terrible disaster
By Your omniscience, controlling all events as the Master
With Your victory against tribulation's setter
Guiding me to aspire for Christ-like character!

*1Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

L'Nass!!

Seeing that deep rooted tree
founded in soils rich and boldly painful
Lay praise to worthy and spite to shameful
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Old souls spiral in his words like scrolls unfurling over cliffs
      ancestors hardships ingrained in phrasing
             Reminding, remembering, rejoicing...rebuking
That which you might not say
                  sprays from every line
Never just in saying his piece
  but asking yours...provoking that warrior
     we forget our place in days of complacency
        padding around like finicky kittens
           his urge is your roar and uprise
               a write is but musings of our mind
                    unless it encourages yours
I've urged his rain to fall
  as I will bring mine to amass
    as should we all ...to flood and conquer
      the settling of soil into stubborn unthinking sediment
~~~~A Tribute to a poet who inspires my mind and provokes my thoughts...L'Nass Shango

Her tread even lighter than a field mouse,
Her gown more bluer than a cloudless sky;
She stiffens like the cat about to pounce:-
Right now...another wretched soul to die.
Hand as Michelangelo's hand of God;
Outstretched arm pausing momentarily;
And in that dreadful instant some poor sod
Staring back: eyes imploring, "no...not me".
The awful deed, that last despairing look --
An elderly generation betrayed!
Constant self-rebuking and endless tears;
For in her well thumbed, cherished book
There is no solace found upon a page...
Just a guilt borne unto her final years.

Premium Member Ride of the Daystar: Har - Magedon

A great tumult has occurred in the sea
agitated waves tussle and brawl in the sea

A sea, whose waters are parted,
parted by a swarming multitude of beasts, and one Great Beast

Beast, I advise you, there is a King, a Star in the Day
riding upon a white horse, Eminent and August

August and Purposed was His way
sword in hand, fetters in one

One, without uncertainly, He rode toward the sea
and with certainty His strike was dealt

Dealt, the waters were parted
by means of one blow all the beasts were smite

Smitten, all but one, the Lord of the beasts
the Daystar turned his strength to the Great Beast

The Beast, skilled and adept, was struck with one articulation
not with a song of death as its intent, but a rebuking

Rebuked, so it might not agitate the waters
fettered, so it could not provoke the sea

See now, the waters were parted
the bodies of which were two

Two parts, divided by the Daystar’s blow
one to the south and toward the north was one

One, agitated, heavy with salt, and broad as elapsed dreams
the North, tranquil and fresh. just adequate to chalice in the palms

Palms firm, the King turned His day heat to the south
and the waters evaporated, so that only pillars of salt remained

Remaining, the Daystar blessed his radiance on the North
with palms the King cupped the unsullied waters

Waters in hand He tossed them into the desiccated earth
and the waters revitalized the salted land in support of the King

And the King continued to shed light on the waters for a thousand years
for a millennium, the earth blossomed.

Blossomed for a time, a time, times five hundred times
after which, the fetters would be loosed

The Lords Prayer

Our father who art in heaven

Forgetting the son and his holy sacrament
Wandering in a maze, looking for atonement
Disavowing God, we bow to evil temptations
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

Hallowed be thy name

We constantly profane the Kings monicker
Rebuking displays regarding the creator
Disbelieving in the immaculate conception
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

Thy kingdom come thy will be done

Freewill creatures ignoring the warnings
Hastily striding toward the end of mornings
He has set the time for earth’s annihilation
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

On earth as it is in heaven

Adam and Eve the first created beings
Creation immoral from the very beginning
Inviting sin into their perfect habitation
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

Give us this day our daily bread

Refusing to eat from the table of life
Dining on lies, as we wallow in strife
Children dying from spiritual malnutrition
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors

The world was cleansed by the great flood
Human’s given hope, by a sacrifice of blood
Unable to forgive we await a fiery termination
God is growing weary of his sinful creation

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil

Willing walking the path of unrighteousness
Passing the point where we can seek forgiveness
Time has run out for this sinful congregation
The son has returned destroying creation

For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever amen

Stretching at the very heavens are the braches of autumn,
It is becoming the season of death, and mother natures promise
Of rebirth is with drawing, leaving nothing behind but stilled
 Whispering echoes.
The very ground itself grows fidgeted, as winters icy finger tips
Strangle at earths raw under belly, finally it yields to the pains
Agony and nature lies slain, forced into hibernation’s sleep, until
Spring breath will awaken it at last, with resurrection’s sweet kiss of life
Once more.
A screeching black raven clings to the darkening skies, one by one do
These harvengers of death land atop the trees icy prongs that bend and
Brake beneath their feather weight of distain.
Dark eyed demons ever watching, waiting unto the night takes passion
Of this world of the living, these sentinels of the demonic peck, and strike
At one another with anticipations things to come by night.
A stilled silence blankets the forest; nothing stirs except the creaking of
The ice in a near by stream, on the path a sobering wind rustles at the deadened
Leaves that crackle in the fall breeze.
It so creeps forward the feeling of uneasiness, the soft breath blowing against
The back neck hairs of humanity, a lumbering heaviness boggs down the air itself,
Almost choking the life from all living things in the surrounding venue.
Excited the black birds take winged flight, soaring screeching, announcing it
Comes, it comes!!
Shuttering nature pulls its white snow covering over its very head, she even
Wishes not to see, this true face of evil that cometh forward, the ethereal trap
Door has been triggered, and what elopes onwards cannot be stopped by
Any powers on earth.
Blow does the trumpets of heaven, angels take to the winds of destiny, beckoning
The evil to with draw, but it mocks at them, screaming in a howling’s rebuking,
I listen not to the likes of thee!!
Then a light unseen for many a millennium comes forward, it is the light of
Everlasting salvation, then creature of darkness shall thee do battle with me,
Nay I will with draw, backwards from winnest it came it vaporizes and disappears.
In the woods there is a path, never to crossed by humanity, their thou shall not
Step, for the essence of evil’s cold chill still lingers, in the autumn chilling wind.

Through the Eyes of a Twin

Through The Eyes of A Twin
(Faux Limerick)

Sometimes I wonder is it just me
Visions in my head that I can see
Fear grips at me so strong
I thought boy this is wrong
Rebuking Satan told him to flee

I went to the windows looked outside
Then moved from room to room with great stride
Oh girl you need to quit
Was I having a fit
I began to pray fear didn’t subside

In my mind I was seeing this attack
Just stood still didn’t know how to react
Lord where did that come from
Why did I see this harm
Was I having an awful flashback

Continued to pray and shook my head
May be it was something I had read
These thoughts I did not need
They just could not proceed
An attack I would certainly dread

A week later on I got this call
My twin began to explain it all
The vision did occur
What I saw was a blur
As she spoke all I could do was ball

Over the miles I had heard her scream
The attack was broken in midstream
Through my eyes I could see
The Lord had heard my plea
Now I see it was not a daydream

When Spirit lead we must intercede
For there just may be an urgent need
We must stand in the gap
Stop Satan in his trap
The Lord will answer our prayer indeed

Nature's Revenge

Big trees swing as fast as heartbeat
Houses are scared and they're driving to tears
Dark clouds are about to eat humanity
Falls down to earth and destroy property
Like a theif at night, it comes unexpectedly
But it's strong wind brings revenge
The whole world is too frail to receive
Forces of waters rush in the cities
It plans to sink everyone
Drown people for good and die eternally
There is nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
It's tyranny is dominating
It can be seen in the corner of an eye
The catastrophe it brings cause a big fear
As people start to say prayers
Rebuking premonitions from their dreams

On the Right Road

One of the hardest things to deal with in life
Is when you're stuck in situations that cause nothing but strife
Unable to move from point a to point b
Unable to move out of abject poverty
Unable to have relationships that are beneficial and true
Unable to leave that environment which has seemed to have swallowed you
Now hating those who are progressing and moving ahead
With bitterness in your heart, angry and seeing red

Now a blind man was on the road a beggar named Bartimaeus
Stuck in his situation when he encountered the Lord Jesus
He was on the right road that day with a chance to change his situation
He was on the right road that day to receive a life altering transformation

Many of us allow our situations to overwhelm us and take control
Many of us stay in the same rut too afraid to think bold
Unwilling to spare some change in regards to our circumstances
Unwilling to get up and go out, unwilling to take chances
You can't blame no one but yourself if you stay stuck in your situation
You need to interrupt that vicious cycle if want true transformation

Bartimaeus interrupted the cycle of his tedious every day life
And when the opportunity arose he got bold
and called on Jesus the Lord Christ
Stepping out on faith Bartimaeus flipped the script
And in spite of others rebuking him towards Jesus he went
He was on the right road that day and in the right place
And in spite of his blindness and brokenness
he received Jesus's mercy and grace

Now when Jesus asked Bartimaeus of his needs and desires
It was a question of self examination and godly inspired
For God has a way of making us look inside ourselves to discover
What we need to be made whole and completely recovered

On the right road with God with the right attitude in mind
On the right road trusting in God and you will come to find
That God knows what you need to be made whole
As only God has the ability to heal your soul
On the right road ready to make a change in life
On the right road trusting in God and Jesus the Christ

Bible, the Word of God

Bible is the Holy Book inspired by God and is life-changing
It's the word of God, living and active,
Sharper than any double edged sword
It's the revelation of God to the world
It's a breathe of God useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting
And training in righteousness equipping for every good work

It's the greatest Book on the earth
Which will keep us away from sin and temptations
Giving a sinner an opportunity to transform into saints
The word of God is living and powerful which lights our path
Giving us direction and clarity for our future by overcoming sin

The bible has the Power to save our soul from eternal fire
It has the power to teach us to live a holy life
It has the keys for unlocking a hardened heart
And showing us to live a life of God's way
It comforts the lonely, hope to hopless, rest to the weary
It lifts us up when we are discouraged and hurt in our despair
In the beginning was the word and the word was with God
And the word was God.

Jesus Christ is that living word of God
It's the living word of God that saved us.
God speaks to us through Bible
Through our conscience which is Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit is nothing but Jesus Christ
Who is our comforter, counselor, Helper, Intercessor,
Advocate and Strengthener
The Bible gives us wisdom, good conscience,
 Peace and security from danger
Deliverance, healing and protection from all evil.
For everything in the world reveals the power of Gods Word.
Heaven and earth will pass away,
But Gods word will not pass away
Grass may withers, the flower may fades
 But the word of our God stands forever.

The Man In the Clouds Playing His Guitar

Richard Thomas man of God.
The one I have foreseen surrounded by clouds.
He plays his guitar to honor our Lord, so beautiful
So powerful. His love songs to Jesus are so very real.
Everlasting is his song that explains best his deep love and
Gratefulness to God.
Grateful for the saving grace of God.
The greatest of love does flow from his heart to Jesus' heart.
His songs and music reach up to Heaven's realm back down
To earth into the below, rebuking satan as Moses parted the
Red Sea.
Catching the wayward while there is still time, borrowed time.
Richard stands in the gap for the people that God has placed
In his care for such a time as this.
Including me you see,
Even though he has an earthly family,
He is truly my brother from the Great I AM.
Strength and resolve do flow through him.
Using his guitar as a staff which do make God's
Flocks move on much more quickly to their destiny.
This is something that glorifies Jesus.
Explore his story Standing In The Fire about his time
In secular music and what the pleasures of the world
Did to him as he partook of these things.
Explore his music which glorifies God on that wondrous
Place known as You Tube and no he is not John Boy,
As he is far too young to be him.
Type Richard Thomas Music in the search bar.
There are many things I can tell you but the
Biggest thing right now is a loving sister's request
Of those who understand,
I have not asked for much in all of this for myself
Though I am very blessed indeed.
I ask with all of my sister's heart for my brother if you
Would please go to Richard's go fund me page and help
To send him on The Tour Bus For Jesus mission as he
Has been so sweet to so many.
To see Richard smile as he loves Jesus makes me additionally
Happy in the remainder of my days on earth.
Thank you and God bless you for your understanding and generous
Love for humanity as they will be divinely blessed when they hear
Richard play with his true talent and sincerity amen!

The Morning Sky

I awake this morning feeling the clouds
Thundering from the mysterious blue sky
And something abstruse is bidding me goodbye
The shadows of life overwhelmed me
and rage is silently growing inside me
My tears have been welled up for days
And my soul is yearning for a quite place to stay
I longed to hear running water gushing from the hill
Birds singing in the tree tops with sweet music chiming in
I hunger for that tender hour when I can enjoy life's splendor
To mingle with people of my caliber and sing in the grand opera
At nights my spirit is not silent and my soul crys out loudly
I can feel stones grinding in the mill
And the melting ice covering the shapeless earth
The language of life is having its toll
weeping within the mesmerizing circle
And something miraculous is trying to come in
Not pressed for time but it continues to move slowly
Making its way to the battle ground
I buried myself between the tall trees
watching the sky grumbling  above
And rebuking the secrecy that surrounds me
I watched mankind sin's hanging from the trees
Staring at them in the dark holding on to his lifeless heart
The power of God ambushed me
and a bright moon engulf me
I am sad but not broken
I am hurt but motivated
I can still feel the soul of nature around me
And the presence of God watching over me
