Money isn't everything
You earn it just to use it
Do whatever you want with it
Just try not to lose it
The more you have
The more you spend
A simple rule
To tell a friend
In order to avoid
Getting broke
You stretch your dollar
With so much hope
Eat ramon noodles
Once too much
You pinch a penny
While have a lunch
Take a walk
Instead of a bus
Dont wave the cab
You'll save a bunch
If you save a dollar
Put one away everyday
You'll have one more
At a later date
Get paid the same
While work for wage
In due time any job
You can learn to save

Fair Ramon

The bride complained her perfume
Had failed to seduce the groom
Because she was placid
He found himself flaccid
And quietly left the room

What Is Life

What is this life when there is no care
What is life when there is no love

Life without sympathy
Vividly filled with hatred

How do we begin to flourish
When our core values are missing

What do we do to be freed from evil
What do we do to regain our strength

Silver moon glowing warmly

My Pain Since U Been Gone

just know my pain will never go away, I miss you more & more everyday
I wish atleast on more time i can hear ur voice or feel ur touch, I just
love & miss you so much
It's not fair why did you have to go and leave us all behind, Damn
my nigga I wish I could go back and press rewind we should of had so much
more time
Without you it's hard to smile at all ,I remember everynight waiting for
you because you would always call
You would say "shorty" you ready to come threw,I would say yes I'll
be outside 5 minutes later he would come get me & we would go chill everynight
that's what we'd do
Then the next day he would bring me home in the morning around 8
sometimes 9 now he's a angel of mine
I remember almost everynight around 10pm he would comeover to get me
and take me to his house across the street, Our memories I play in my head on repeat
I'm thankful that God let us meet
It's so hard to understand I'll never see you again I miss you so
much my dear friend RAMON since your not here I'm all alone
It use to always be shorty & cholo, Now it's me,myself and I
I'm now riding solo :(

I Question My Iq

I filled out those IQ tests, ten years apart
Each test I took scored me one point from Mensa
Years of College, I should not have taken art
I put the blame on Top Ramon and pizza

Not the sharpest tool in the shed, by far
Balancing ideas to sway my mind
My solutions might be lacking in part
But the answers I get, settle in time

Our intelligence needs challenge, my friend
A problem solved, we subconsciously wonder
Question a question to question again
Just to come up with more thoughts to ponder

There's three kinds of genius on the beaten track
Those who can really count and then those who just can't
Some are out of their minds, but they will be back
Geniuses are artists with names like Rembrandt

I want to ask a you a question I found
What does the Statue of Liberty stand for?
The answer is simple, she can't sit down
Intelligence detests this subtle humor

So the next time you have lost your pen
Don't think of yourself as an idiot
This happens to many of wise men
They have gone on to greatness, without it

Japan and the Earthquake

Japan and the Earthquake

Japan in mourning

Japan in crisis

Wanting to be safe and protected

Wanting to live purer and happier lives

Toxic air, water, crops and energy kill many

Will this devastating milestone bloom into it’s original beauty?

Let us pray

Let us hope and love

Japan will heal

Satisfaction, Part 2 0f 4

A Spanish Farmer Goes to Fetch Water

The limestone, thought Gonzalo, was a sponge.
So soft, the raindrops pocked it. It absorbed
it all, and slowly bled it back. He looked
along the path, to where the outcrop rose
out of the greens and browns of fecund earth,
its face all cracked and fissured. Morning sun
lay on the soil, like a considerate
young lover. But the limestone prominence
cast cool foreboding shadows on the land,
a cloak devoid of color. To his left,
Gonzalo saw Ramon, the blind white mule,
flicking his ears. A carrot was expected.
Below, Gonzalo's "parcel" drank the sun,
the lion-colored corn close to mature.
His barn was bursting. Almonds, olives, pulses,
pomegranates, figs. "Thank you, Fuente,"
slipped from his lips, unbidden. Off he set,
his wooden bucket swinging, for the crag.
He loved the ritual of his morning trip.

Hearty Congrats

SPECIAL 83th BIRTHDAY DEDICATION TO AKINWAMDE OLUWOLE SOYINKA

HEARTY CONGRATS
The Great Wole,
Here you are with another added age with grace
The grace of the creator bestowed on you
Shines the light since the very day you were born
And up till now at age 83 the light shines brighter

The Great Wole,
This is the day
Another happy day signed by the most High
For who has made you go this far
The art world, humanness, the creativity in you
Are ever exceptional, inspirational and dramatical
And has got no end, they keep flourishing

The Great Wole,
Varieties of God blessings will never cease in your life
At 83 the wishes are still many more years and good health
At 83 continue to grow from strength to strength
And from one glory to another
Forever the leading light will shine in you.

Happy Birthday!!!

The Person Who Could Not Be Replaced

Based on true facts and this poem is dedicated
too one Ramon Fuentevilla.

The person who could not be replaced
We search out many friends, lovers and
acquaintances only to get that 1 person who can
not be replaced. There our most trusted our
very best friend but this poem is about my
very best friend who could not be replaced
by any other, yet he fell into a life of drugs
and a attitude of another. I did not understand
why he couldn't face his demons. He just turned
from the best friend one could have to a life
filled with dope and a taste of crime to going
to jail for a very long time. My Ramon was a
guy that made me laugh when I wanted to cry.
He always knew what to say even if life was
so bad his strength grew into me. I would give
my life just to have him back for 1 more round
of sharing, his way of caring and just that
smile that lives with my memory of the man
who could not be replaced by any other. So I
pray every night he will have time to try to
see how really special he was to me.

Job-Just Over Broke

Get a job, Get a job, Get a job
Well, I have two and need a third
Went to college and got the same jobs that I could of gotten out of high school
Student loan shark wants his money
Rent man wants his money
Grocery man wants his money
If I pay student loan shark , my rent and food will suffer
So, try to dodge student loan shark awhile longer
$7.25 minimum wage.
This meat in the store is over $7.25 a pound
Guess Ramon noodles will be my dinner companion
Work, work, work
Working has kept me just over broke

Spring

Birds singing sweetly

Clouds drifting along the sky

Daffodils blooming

Walking along the lush grass

Tickles my bare feet

I feel so close to nature

I sit by a tree

Admiring the beauty

With my eyes shut, I relax
