Best Rae Poems
From what she was in high school
to what she is right now
Some may consider a phenomenon
while other marvel how
I remember the face of the cool cool girl
in the class before me
Vanilla chocolate was her flavor
a favorite for sure I've seen
Though thirty years has past
there was still something to see
She was the woman I always knew from a child
the woman with ageless beauty
You know the color of her lips
and the mascara around her eyes
you know the shape of her cheek bones
her boney fingers and perfect smile
There is a beauty that we call elegant
often found on wedding days
but rarely doe's this elegance
grace our wrinkles and grays
Yet I still wondered where she came from
this woman of grey delight
Always high maintainence
always someone's wife
But how shall I describe her
this woman that I know
The immortal beauty that took others places
Others that were there before she showed
Destiny is a force that cannot be stopped
The place where she is that awe and shocked
time is a blessing depending on how it's spent
But beauty is a lesson testing the bearer
and the one to whom beauty was sent
Though I speak of thousands of women
there is one that looks the best
The queen of all the goddesses
for whom there is no contest
The woman I see is timeless
she hasn't always been the rage
But now that she's past fifty
she wears the beauty of that age
But looking past the beauty
is the life you may not see
The horrors of real life
hidden by ones fantasies
When makeup is mostly for mirrors
and not the world outside
Beauty is only a mask
and compliments sooth the pride
The shell of forbidden beauty
hidden by an unattainable goal
And yet this untamed beauty
may posess a lonely soul
And life may hold larger things
than we could ever imagine
But what can be more beautiful
than this wonderful distraction.

In Memory of Kerwin Rae - The man with a Mission
In loving memory of Kerwin Rae, who left us unexpectedly just days after celebrating his 50th birthday.
Kerwin was a remarkable figure—a motivational speaker, business coach, and virtually Australia’s own Tony Robbins. He reached millions, both in
Australia and globally with his inspiring guidance, especially those facing ADHD and dyslexia, challenges he knew personally.
This video holds a special meaning, as mystic coincidences unfolded during its creation, including a heartfelt share from Elizabeth Rae, his grieving mother, on her channel. Elizabeth, herself an acclaimed author and coach on ‘Women in Stress’, (womeninstress.com.au), has touched lives through her own journey and work. It is an honor that she reached out.
We are deeply touched to know that this video, with lyrics inspired by Kerwin’s teachings, was played at his funeral a few days ago.
Your comments here and by clicking above on my YouTube channel, where we share a brief of his life, would be a comfort to his mother, family, friends and followers.
Your shares could bring hope to someone in need, when reflecting on Kerwin’s enduring influence through the lyrics, as well as uplift and give people purpose in a world riddled with strife.
Thank you
Rae
To day ! I took a walk to a river far from.
To day ! I took a look into the river of time.
To day ! I took a time to reflect upon.
To day ! I took a piece of you out of my mind.
Yesterday ! - haunted many of my days, my nights
Yesterday ! - weighed heavy upon all I have done
Yesterday ! - on this date since – made my bones – ice.
Yesterday ! – I do believe – is slowly fading away.
Tomorrow ! – will it bring peace and set you free ?
Tomorrow ! – will it bring release and let me be ?
Tomorrow ! – will the end of your journey let you see ?
Tomorrow ! – is left for you to fly beyond that time and me !
Spread your wings Rea !!!
Come to enjoy a new day ???

Derek runs 26 mile marathons,
With his nerve-damaged right arm
Anchored in a sling: solid sounds,
‘Cos a truck did cause him harm.
The accident changed his life,
But he can’t remember it, recall,
It ended his life as a joiner, Fife,
And now he sells used cars, all.
Recently he has much improved,
So now he’s 7 long minutes faster,
In the London marathon hooved,
‘Tho his left hand he’s had to master.
He represented Britain two times,
At the Worlds in Doha, the year 2015,
And at the IPC World Cup, dimes:
He ran PB’s of 2:40 and 2:37, endive.
He only took up football to get fit,
And for strength and agility he ran,
But this sideline so his inside lit,
That he concentrated on it’s pan.
He says to all of us “To believe that
anything is possible. To get there,
it is about mindset, [what you’re at].
Don’t ever let anyone tell you, [bare],
that something can’t be achieved,
it can. Also to appreciate the good
people around you, [they’ve weaved,
to] help you on your journey, [would]
and will help you reach your goals.
Despite running seeming like
an individual sport, it’s not. [Coals].
Appreciate the team, [your pike].”
Richard Brickley trains Derek,
And gives him medical time off,
He enlisted a coach, a shrek,
Prof Ron Morrison, a techy buff.
Prof Ron Morrison is quite a don,
He’s a professor of lovely computing,
At St Andrews Uni, but that along,
He’s a Para ref, does hammer throwing.
He’s on the Board of Directors,
Of the Scottish Athletics Committee,
And has a deep love with proctors,
Of cross country running agility.
I don’t know, he may have in my past,
Interviewed me for St Andrews Uni,
For computing, I kind of, aghast,
Recognise him: he was kind, and chatty.
Derek made Rio and runs a T45/46,
He’s a member of the athletics club
Anster Haddies. He has his sticks,
In Kirkcaldy, was born in 1985, a hub.
Everyday when we're out to play
no ones watching us but Rae
Please tell me you've met him before ?
He's brave, and he's dependant as he sors!
I love my watcher Rae
He's out everyday from about 7-8
and did I mention thats like 13 hours !
He's large and he's stout
He's in and he's out
and he keeps us alive with his powers !
My Rae is the best, he's good for a rest
and he warms you if you're ever cold.
He's the number one star, he lights his way from Earth to Mars
and even to the oldest of olds
He is old.
I work every day for Lola Rae
A lady whose mind must have its say,
The images flow fast
Of politicians that won't last,
She ought to be the one to draw their pay!
From October 2000
My friend Rae
On 13th, day, 3rd, month, 1973, I lost Rae.
I was 30 years old on that sad, fateful day.
30 years later, on a river, I relived that time.
On a bolder, I told him to let go, in a rhyme,
it was time to depart, let go of the pain.
Spirit wondering here, nothing to gain.
Forty six years have now past, I pray
his Soul, in this dimension , did not stay.
That he is no longer wandering the river, Grand.
That he is at peace, among the angles he doth stand.

I see you in the distance.
Do you see me?
Something hidden inside.
Never forget when our eyes first met.
Standing in front of me I see so much pain inside.
The way you looked at me Ill ever forget.
That first smile that just touched my soul.
I don't know you but somehow I do.
I held you, felt like I was floating away.
Make me feel I can touch the sky.
The kiss that took my breath away.
Looked in your eyes with such pain inside.
Behind it all I seen the beautiful girl inside.
I lay next to you and could just die.
It would be all ok cause your by my side.
Protection I will be, for ever.
Always keep your heart locked up next to mine.
So strong inside it blows me away.
Never imagine what you've been through.
Take my hand and I'll show you the way.
The love that I feel when you're here or away.
Doubt, all this doubt.
Only if you could see what see flowing through your eyes.
To have the privilege to be the one that makes your heart sing.
Why me?
But come take my hand to a world that you can truly understand.
I hear your voice going through my head.
A voice that soothes my soul.
Bringing things out that I thought were long gone.
I'll protect you from all this evil in this world.
I know you're worth it.
The beauty of that gorgeous smile I'll walk for miles.
You say you don't know what beauty is or where it could be?
I can tell you this, Rae is where the true beauty lay.
(Motivational Speaker, died Oct 18, 2024 at the age of 49, father of two )
In fields of gold I dare to go, where never growing old I row and row,
never farther than my eye could see, ...for He is looking right at me;
Flying on the wings of hope, thankful every day for that special ray
that sends me to the sun, like a soaring Cormorant flying free..
Mixing clay and water I will build my wings and temper gently
with the coming of the light, just like Jonah did,
from the belly of the night....
The last few words I said to you, may they fall afresh like dew
on the lawn of your heart, may you run for peace and not forget
that when the waters rise and you can't swim,
do like Noah did and build an arc !
In fields of gold I dare to go, where never growing old I row and row,
never farther than my eye could see, ...for He is looking right at me;
I am a ripple in the quantum field of life, a pulse in the heart of you
listen and learn what it is that lights you up and fills you with joy.
Before you dare to go to those fields of gold where you never
grow old, just row and row and row and row, and never let go.
Afosa Adagio

He described her as mean
someone caring she demanded more
than she gave
someone that is only
politely spoken of in a gesturing
of description. The first AACT spoke of
her speaking to her lover who only spoken Italian.
Moments later she is said
to be speaking to her lover
in Portuguese..
We learn later both are separate entities neither
wise to the other.
Act Four speak of him finding
Pantaloni senza cavallo, in his bedroom.
He reflected the days and nights remember nothing
of their where abouts. He knew they fit her and the
smell he knew they were worn.
"Pantaloni senza cavallo!
Pantaloni senza cavallo!"
he was heard crying through the door
the maid rushed to tell her: they stood
doors away giggling about the scene.
" the maid saying in italian " he wished her
to be less desirable
mine he handle her"
The Woman spoke" and more common that
she should be submissive"
Maybe the sarcasm of words
can be expressed in the desire
to undermined him.
It couldn't happened to a nicer
guy: you know!
"Creating monsters are the ways of
cornata women
are we then either as evil as he
or wiser and untrue
la canzone sfacciata intrigante
complotto è stata scritta per questo"
She loved neither and was believed
to have been in love with anyone
whom henear to.
Storing his past and sleeping with
those he hired.
He knew of one affair, then learned of the many ones
she had had. Once he was sleeping
and she woke him to have him drunk
she pretended to be "gobby with him" wearing a scorff.
It was the stable man from afar unshaved and paid by her
to do so. When he learned of this
she had been sent to an undisclosed place
and a letter written by her
detailed the event. she stayed away for weeks.
returning he just eye balle her
while the staff tryed to hold in their laughter.
Fictional Depiction of an Italain Contessa and her
Inperatore Husband. Opera of Frustration and Love.
Bassoon solo: number twenty four is a
bass lovers dream! The staff nicknamed her "Gobby Il Lupo"
a term that was unkind but true!
I’m writing this for you
Thought I’d let you know
Just how much you mean to me
As our friendship continues to grow.
Its like we are connected
In some strange way
You know what I am thinking
Without my having to say.
We both laugh so hard
It makes us both cry
We tell each other secrets
That would make others die.
If I could have a sister
I’d want her to be like you
A little Rae of sunshine
In my life that’s sometimes blue.
Just wanted to let you know
You are deep within my heart
Our friendship will go on
If we ever have to part.
