I see you in the distance.
Do you see me?
Something hidden inside.
Never forget when our eyes first met.
Standing in front of me I see so much pain inside.
The way you looked at me Ill ever forget.
That first smile that just touched my soul.
I don't know you but somehow I do.
I held you, felt like I was floating away.
Make me feel I can touch the sky.
The kiss that took my breath away.
Looked in your eyes with such pain inside.
Behind it all I seen the beautiful girl inside.
I lay next to you and could just die.
It would be all ok cause your by my side.
Protection I will be, for ever.
Always keep your heart locked up next to mine.
So strong inside it blows me away.
Never imagine what you've been through.
Take my hand and I'll show you the way.
The love that I feel when you're here or away.
Doubt, all this doubt.
Only if you could see what see flowing through your eyes.
To have the privilege to be the one that makes your heart sing.
Why me?
But come take my hand to a world that you can truly understand.
I hear your voice going through my head.
A voice that soothes my soul.
Bringing things out that I thought were long gone.
I'll protect you from all this evil in this world.
I know you're worth it.
The beauty of that gorgeous smile I'll walk for miles.
You say you don't know what beauty is or where it could be?
I can tell you this, Rae is where the true beauty lay.
