Rae

Rae

To day ! I took a walk to a river far from.
To day ! I took a look into the river of time.
To day ! I took a time to reflect upon.
To day ! I took a piece of you out of my mind.

Yesterday ! - haunted many of my days, my nights
Yesterday ! - weighed heavy upon all I have done
Yesterday ! - on this date since – made my bones – ice.
Yesterday ! – I do believe – is slowly fading away.

Tomorrow ! – will it bring peace and set you free ?
Tomorrow ! – will it bring release and let me be ?
Tomorrow ! – will the end of your journey let you see ?
Tomorrow ! – is left for you to fly beyond that time and me !

Spread your wings Rea !!!
Come to enjoy a new day ???

Good Morning Eve Roper : Thank you Eve, for the visit and letting me know that I provided you with a little pleasure “ William, enjoyed your pen. ”. You are positively correct, “ It is good to let things go in the wind. ” Eve, that is why I have written rhymes dedicated to Rae, and let me tell you that when Rae, finally let go of this plane, there was change. There are a couple more rhymes that deal with this subject, written over the years . Your “ The 60s ” caught my attention, my Dear, as you took me back to a time when I roamed Ontario and Quebec with The World’s Finest Show, had a Beautiful baby Girl, and did much of what the sixties contributed to society. Strange that I would be listening to the Drifters at this very moment ??? “ Beginnings Matters ” and I guess they do, it did for you !!!, as you entered this little world of poetry . Bill . ( B.
