Quote Me Rumi

QUOTE ME RUMI

Plant me in the garden next door.
I want to be a man no more.
I don’t want to have pain in me.
I don’t want to be me with me.
I don’t want to see the world as such;
		Sorrow, hunger, unjust too much.
I want to kiss the breeze at night.
Running away from the pain and plight.
I want to bloom colors and dyes.
Seeing the world with less despise.
I want to bathe in rain and dew.
Immerse myself in love, renew.
I want to feed the birds and bees.
Be the reason for lovers to please.
I want to be a man no more,
and do the things I‘ve done before.

In your eyes I see the person I am becoming.

Contemplation, the art of seeing the magnificent in the simple.

I searched for wisdom within myself and found God.

Forget all others, until I am the last thought on your mind.

You hide, hoping that I will seek.

Do not set limits on your dreams, that's your boss's job!

I tried to give her a French kiss, unfortunately she was not bi-lingual.

I turned practice into luck, what others see as easy comes from hard work.

If you search for yourself in darkness, how will you find your way back?

His mind traveled at the speed of sound, yet no one could hear him.

She bent over backwards for him, with disappointment she lost her flexibility.

She was an emotional anorexic, starving for a substantial love.

You will always have a friend if you truly get to know yourself.

Instruments of God we can only create music if he is blowing through their lives.

If all she had was her eyes, she would still be able to smile.

It is impossible to betray someone who has never considered you a friend.

I love the way you bend the sun in my direction.

He promised he would stay forever, some men have no sense of time.

Do It Properly - Quote Contest

Quote.( Do not know who originated it, but used in the family at all times.)

"If your going to do something do it properly"

There was an old man called McGinn
Put all his refuse waste in one bin
It should have been sorted
His reasoning is thwarted
In clearing up his mess to begin.

Don'T Cry Because It's Over - Dr Seuss Quote Contest

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened
memories will save the precious times.
Don't weep because we are no longer together
focus on the many times we were.

Remember the hills of life we climbed together
both searching for what we didn't have.
Not realising it was here within us
too stupid to see what might have been.

Don't cry because you no longer see me
open your eyes see what the future brings.
Remember our time and learn from it
mistakes are made yet you emerge with strength.

Don't cry because it's over
another page of life’s book will soon begin.
Smile because it happened
remember, but store your memories away.

Premium Member Quote Me Rumi - For Contest

Rage festered within my wounded soul
darkness swallowing all hope, peace
a wingless dove – denied….. Truth the
lifeless lie of separation’s connectedness.

Eyes closed – I saw the horror of my helplessness
listened to fear’s deafening roar, tasted the
bitterness of the victim – and prayed
to the god of my emptiness for fulfillment.

Awakened to the cold of unfelt sunshine,
smiled into the vision of a day.

IN HONOR OF THE MAN WHO STARTED IT ALL
My Friend John

The Day (of the Quote Wars)

The Day was gray with wisps of smoke, like fog upon the ground
The carnage lied in heaps piled high, void of any sound
A single figure stood that day, solemn in the field,
The enemy fought bravely, but found they had to yield
They fired fast a volley, then, tried to hold their line
And each one to the very last, Defeat was all they'll find
They came with much munitions, taken from their shelves
Armed with acquisitions, building libraries for themselves
With words upon their lips and volumes in their hands
They started posting Quotes, that's when the War began

It was on a summer’s day, that the voices came to battle
We heard the slamming of huge volumes and the pages start to rattle
There was Emerson and Keats, Will Rogers and Mark twain
Neither knew defeat, nor could have felt the pain
Quotes were launched at him, design to cut him down
But Sebastian fired back with something more profound
They quoted every author, from eloquent to sublime
But The Quotes that Sebastian used, were so much more refined
They thought to quote from Philosophy, Theology and Science
They quoted away, most the day, while Sebastian stood defiant.
When the fiery missiles stopped, one man stood firm and smiled
Sebastian Fate had Won,”The Day” by quoting Oscar Wilde

The key is to recognize, that we as instruments can only create music, if the breath of God blows through our lives.

Premium Member Quote Me Rumi

Anger is rarely locked inside me.
It gurgles from me like a stream,
not breaking like waves on shores.
But if I stay silent,
wearing displeasure
on my face, an
ocean roars
inside
me.

Poems That Quote the Bible Are Not Poems But a Preach

When some write they quote the bible,
forcing on you some ancient eye fall,
but that's not a poem it's a preach,
some view they wish to teach,
they're no poet,
and they're not original,
they have nothing of their own to say,
they're not even an individual,
they think they're connected to the spiritual,
so it's their duty to also brainwash you.

There's wisdom in the bible, valuable and true,
but if you stop turning to the bible you'll find a wisdom in you,
because your god gave you the tools needed to guide you,
but when training these raw senses you face uncertainty,
and when unsure you turned to the religious community,
and with that you seek wisdom from them and not your own faculties,
so you become distant from what god gave you,
and become part of something that says do as WE do.
God gave you tools and in doing so you're blessed,
so do as YOU do, stay true, and the spirtual will shine through you.

Premium Member Quote Me Rumi Forgiveness

You strike me down, though I am innocent,
And spent no time giving you reasons.
If my skin offends you, it's your soul's content.
It's buried in the environment of your seasons.

I'll bow my head, seek your forgiveness,
And accept the wounds, where you pierced my heart.
I'll gather them in and never dispossess,
As I gain knowledge from the darkness they impart.
