Premium Member Quite a Start For Old Jb

Executive orders signing spree
Quite a start for old JB

Killed off the jobs of myriad employees
Put a chokehold on the oil industry

But in the name of his pitch for unity
Lets look at JB's orders with impunity

Rejoining the 2015 Paris 'dialogue-ees'
He's eased up on our good friends, the Chinese

Plus he's helped so many radicals smile with glee
Like Ms. Omer, Ms. Tlieb, Bernie and AOC

Not to mention old pros like Schumer and Pelosi
Now on to re-engage Iran, Obama's lose-lose strategy

Canceling rents and student loans in late February
Open the borders ~ Here comes amnesty

Quite a Worry

There once was a girl named Miss Curry
Whose brows always caused quite a worry.
She went to the spa
To have them waxed raw
And now they're not nearly so furry.

Ain'T Quite a Saint

She was quiet, quirky,and quaint.
She appeares a genuine saint.
She had them all fooled,
Their appraisal soon cooled,
All of he above-- she ain't.

Not Quite a Love Poem

If I was to write a love poem
I would write about the smallest things that fill my heart
And not the words that are spoken, but the moments
So quickly pass by, a hand moving a streak of hair,
The breath passing by the small of a curving neck,
And a spark of joy in the depth of brown eyes.

I would write about the care paid to trivial conversation
Followed by a gentle smile, a reply and engagement,
The full attention offered naturally, the bubble that
engulfs the lovers. Whether wealthy or poor
Warmth is lent to each other, being enriched
Consumed, leisurely imbued and returned.

If I was to write a love poem
I would not seek the rhyme or the rhythm nor
The technicality that makes it right or meaningful
I would simply follow the flow to reach
The "destination that is you" ending this sentence
And leading to a new inspiration, the beginning.

I would start counting the steps, perhaps twelve
Each one an elevation of joy, a breath much deeper
Than the one before. A feeding of desire and even
Hunger for that higher love. As each step ascends
Towards those ideals held closely guarded in ones heart.
The question being will we risk it all...

Quite a Metaphor For Life and Death

Every time autumn's frigidness wears away the leaves grips and cause them to fall.
Summer's once green life withers away to return to mother earth.

Like every mother she knows when the time has come,
Whether it's a bird pushed from the nest,
or an infant child's first breath,
maternal instinct mixed with offspring love, together knows best.

The real test is when winter's bitter cold desires the sun,
lands are frozen, inhabiters run,
birds soar towards the south,
the worst's yet to come.

Continual Cycle of seasons of change
Constantly challenges the strong, the willing, and brave.

I know when MY spring blossomed a life that I can call mine,
summer followed and seemed endless forever alive.
Deep inside your mind a day can last forever,
fall slowly creeps by, while we all spend winter together.

Quite a Piece of Work

She’s like a boor or a yokel
who knows no boundaries
such a pain in the neck
that makes others suffer.

Her ways is irritating,
like in many instances
where collaboration entails
either at work or in any human endeavor.

She continues to brag about
her role as someone who’s in charge
but that’s not a big deal;
not even something to tell.

It’s always in that perspective
where one has to understand
that our role as co-workers
doesn’t need so much ambition.

It’s true that human relationship
a proverbial tone in all sectors
that conflicts come to the fore
inevitable, a challenge by nature.

Confrontation or dialogue
with sincerity and openness
difficult but meaningful
especially in our culture.

It’s nonetheless a real picture
about ourselves in actions
the work of human principles
negate hiding and sugarcoating.

Well, that’s life in reality,
always the common reason
co-existence in similar institution
needs prayer and communication.

Been Quite a While

All my life, with all my soul.
Like music from the piano, my hands will bleed out battles
from the words spilled out from a poet’s hands.

Been quite a while since my soul bled on a page.
Been too long since my lyrics hit a stage.
Been quite a while since I’ve felt lifted,
but the words that travel through my veins
reiterate a soul still gifted.

When it rains it pours; evidence of my resilience.
Trials and tribulations and the flesh battling off addictions.
My afflictions- like a Picasso painting.
Been quite a while for that genuine smile to resurface.
But God’s love still hasn’t been restricted.
Fallen friends, like domino's have, yet still I stay strengthened.
Attitude like a multitude of determination.

Flood gates try to drown me out, but I'm still alive.
Fighting my way back like a lion; like an eagle in the sky.
Not giving up, refuse to fall down infinitely.
Frustration attempts to distract me but my armors on-
I'm fully strapped for these attacks.
It’s all about how I react, life isn’t easy.
But it’s worth the effort to figure out.
It’s been quite a while.
It’s been quite a while…

As my heart beats, my words bleed out like a runner running.
I won’t stop although I see you coming.
Because nothing from nothing leaves nothing.
I'm about something; and I admit.
Truth is…it’s been quite a while.

All my life, with all my soul.
Like music from the piano, my hands will bleed out battles… From the words.
From the words spilled out from a poet’s hands.

Premium Member Quite a Stud

Don't like to brag but I'm quite a stud
After 78 years of practice
Well actually didn't start till I was six
Late but found the girlies so attractive

Actually I think I was ahead of my time
Judging by all the little girlies
Wrestling wasn't what they wanted to do
Wanted to play with paper dollies

But my dollies weren't made out paper
They had cute little bums and stuff
Smelled a whole lot better than a football
I actually couldn't get enough

Eventually I was known as the local stud
Was written up in all the papers
A freak of nature but I was having a ball
Renowned for my naughty capers

Menu a Or Menu B Is Quite a Dashing Dilemma

Menu A or Menu B ? oh dear! quite a dilemma really. ha

Tadpoles induced symphonies in a bowl of custard cued. But cued is neither curd nor carved caverns catering cafés. Cafés cage craterous carefully created considerate cream crêpes and deepest are the deepest diamond drills whose echoes fall amongst lone sheep and geese and tigers and pilau rice. But it is imperative to catch out the mirrored eel and mirrored eels are neither beaming brilliant beautiful business beans or ordered orchards. X minefields mind minders mingling manicured mania manifesting minks. Fashionable cited curving cue of a diamond backed whale. Arriving. It is imperative to be prompt when arriving at the junction stop. Particularly when travelling with a seventy seven on stilts, a little diner with a giggling fifty foot donut hat, a wiggling cheesecake in a see-through dress, a wand, half an acre of corn, a placemat, a window ledge with eighteen species of flies, and of course the ladle in the trousers. Number that then numerically form a curtain ounce. But ounces Are neither octagonal octagons ordering offers and neither are they otters ogling organically officialised odd obelisks. Ha a worm is catching the person up and is hiding because the person wants to put him on a hook to catch a big fish. Ha the early eating was getting bored and fed up waiting for the machines to cook bread. Xxxxx virtualization of a cubic measure. Z at eleven eagles to thirteen billabongs booming. Z

Trump's Really Quite a Stinker
By Franklin Price
1/7/2016

Trump's really quite a stinker
Says what comes to mind
Media bites hook line and sinker
Has them kissing his behind

His statements so outrageous
They have to put him down
His attitude contagious
To the citizens around

Doesn't have to spend his money
To keep his name out in the news
I really think it's funny
How politicians sing the blues

They smell they're losing power
Trump has opened up the lid
Now they're spending every hour
To get him for what he did

They say he doesn't know a thing
About being president
Yet they have done so little
For which to government were sent

Big money has put them there
They don't live reality
About us they don't really care
They control us don't you see

To make this country great again
The Donald has a point
But I believe his greatest sin
Is throwing noses out of joint

The people have a want and need
To get more than has been done
The politicians make us bleed
If there's a loser, we're the one

I know that Donald's scary
But I'm so glad he's had his say
Now we all must thrust and parry
To make this nonsense go away

Causing Quite a Trauma

Causing Quite A Trauma

Republicans are creating quite a trauma
Then are trying to Blame it on Obama
Before election even had been started
And wanted him to be a dearly departed.

Who's responsible for position they're in
Doomed congress probably again and again
Once having facts further we will consult
Hopefully ending up with a positive result.

While Hilary has been waiting in the wings
We all know that there are certain things
To blame her for and everyone will try
Question will be who is telling longest lie.

So Hilary someday can be proud President
Will she need to have her husband's consent?
And if her performance was a grandstand
Maybe Bill will be best and also first man.

Men in marriage one time or another can be
What seems to be such a shock to society
Result was a woman who is cute and clever
Who became President after all her endeavor.

Jesus My Life Is Quite a Mess

Jesus, My Life Is Quite A Mess!

Jesus, I come before you!
And humbly confess…
My life has been a failure, and a mess!

No matter how hard I try, or what I do…
I’m embarrassed when I call on YOU!

You’ve been there to help,
so many times!
It just seems like, “I’m running blind!”

The past seems to be creeping up again…
And causing me grief and pain within!

I need you Jesus! Please help me!
Please come to where I am,
 and touch me!

I need your love, and your precious spirit!
Thanks for being patient!
 And willing to give it!

You are the only one, who can restore me!
No matter how many problems lay before me!

I come before you! And call on your name…
By your blood, my life needs to be changed!

Thank you my Lord,
for hearing my prayer!
Thank you for coming!
 And just being there!

You’ve given to me hope!
My life is renewed!
By your love, my life is now brand new!

Fire rainbow, misnamed.
Circumhorizontal arc
Is an optical

Phenomenon, an
Ice halo formed by plate shaped
Ice crystals in high

Level cirrus clouds.

Premium Member Quite a Stretch

Two young wrens sat on a wire side by side.
Then one bird stretched her wings ever so wide.
The other bird grabbed the tip of her wing,
And she began to scream, poor little thing.

Pulling much harder, he wouldn't let her go,
But lost his grip when she moved to and fro.
Angered and miffed, she flew to a small branch.
He chirped his regrets to beg a next chance.

And the following day, she did just that...
He began to walk, she began to trail
Close enough to yank some feathers from his tail.
