Premium Member Jesus - King of the Jews

In His eyes was the wisdom of the ages.
In His hands was kindness and love.
His manner was tender and quiet.
In His smile was a light from above.

He traveled the highways and byways;
Spoke to rich man and beggar alike.
He taught in the streets and the temples,
Brought comfort and healing and light.

He spoke of His reason for coming,
And a home for the faithful and true.
At first He was loved by many,
And then by only a few.

He was taken to court in the city,
And put through a mockery trial.
He was hung on the cross without pity,
And taunted and rudely reviled.

Why did they do this to Jesus,
A Man who would never abuse?
His countrymen laughed and they mocked Him.
"He said He was King of the Jews".

"CHRIST DIDN'T PLEASE HIMSELF. AS THE PSALMIST SAID, HE CAME FOR THE VERY PURPOSE OF SUFFERING UNDER THE INSULTS OF THOSE WHOWERE AGAINST THE LORD. THESE THINGS WHICH WERE WRITTEN IN THE SCRIPTURES SO LONG AGO ARE TO TEACH US PATIENCE, AND TO ENCOURAGE US SO THAT WE WILL LOOK FORWARD EXPECTANTLY TO THE TIME WHEN GOD WILL CONQUER SIN AND DEATH."
                                                                                     Romans 15:3-4

Love Is Pain

Makes me furious seeing a woman with a bruise over her eye.
The smeared mascara from the tears she's cried.
Pain he's caused, scarring her inside.
Silent Prayers are whispered into the night.
You're under one helluva spell when you don't tell.
You're not well when you accept being put through hell.

It's been awhile since you've focused rself.
Staying with that man is simply bad for your health.
Because of him there is so much life you've missed.
How could you love a man that mistakes a kiss for a fist?
He's not stable; definitely not mentally okay.
If his idea of "love" is to physically harm you in such a way!
You're under one helluva spell when you don't tell.
You're not well when you accept being put through hell.

Stand up! Free yourself from those emotional chains.
No more scrubing shirts from blood stains.
Your world will be a happier, warmer place.
No more heavy makeup covering your pretty face.
So be strong now and walk away.
Live to love "you" and your children another day.

Forgotten Valentine

The world is made for lovers, on this new Valentines Day
And that was from my brother because it had gone astray.

He sent it to his girlfriend; I had hoped the card was for me
But when I opened it, I was shocked at the words I did see.

My brother professing love for me, I knew his handwriting well
He told me how I would see his heart begin to swell.

As you may imagine, this shocked me to the core
When the postman came back and knocked upon the door.

“That card I put through here, it was not meant for you
I know your brother well and he asked me this to do.

Put it through his girlfriend’s door, to save the prices a stamp
I have put it though the wrong one, the bulbs gone in the street lamp.”

“That’s ok”. I said, but you must have one for me
“Sorry love” he said, “You are a forgotten Valentine again I see.”

Premium Member Is the Honeymoon Over

Is the honeymoon over
I’ll tell you what gives me a hunch
When I leave for work in the morning
She hands me my luggage instead of my lunch
Is the honeymoon over
What’s happening doesn’t make sense
When I put my arms around her
It’s strictly in self defense
Is the honeymoon over
While my heart is put through the wringer
When I come home I get no smile
Instead I get the finger
Is the honeymoon over
I can’t understand what she feels
When I said that I might leave her
She started doing cartwheels
Is the honeymoon over
Will I find my life in a rut
She said she wasn’t losing her best friend
She was losing a pain in the butt
Now I know the honeymoon’s over
And staying together would be too hard
When I tried to cut the grass I found
She planted land mines in my back yard

 Just for fun
NO!! Don’t shoot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How Much I Love Thee

Let me count the ways,
To the endless days.
That seems like an endless daze,
Which will amaze. As I gaze into
Your eyes to my surprise, what do
I see, but so much love you have for thee.
We will see that our love will never fade,
Or be laid to rest. Because we will protest
And make sure our bond is stronger.
For evil will not have its hold on us any
Longer. As we are put through each test
Will it turn into a wholly mess?
For now I will confess that my love for
You will never die or be put to
Pasture at best. I will never lie to thee.
Will you ever lie to me?

Bitter Tears of a Wasted Life

I am very insecure
Full of doubt and so unsure
My life's going way off course
Not knowing where it got lost
Swallowed up by all the fears
Leaving me to cry the tears
Of a soul who's dreams were shattered
Broken--never being captured
Gone forever---slowly pacing
Their departure and erasing
My future plans and existence
I can not take the resistance
And being pushed further past
My dreams that are fading fast
In my memories and mind
Is there a way to rewind
Life back to the very spot
Happiness once filled my heart
Before years flashed by my eyes
Giving me more lows than highs
Dreams being put through the ringer
Now they're memories that linger
In the corners of my brain
Leaving a sad hurtful stain
That comes around when I see
Others making history
Living life the way they like
Turning another sharp spike
In my soul that turns and twists
And my eyes once again mist
With the bitter tears I taste
Of a life that's gone to waste

Standup Blackman

Standup my Black Brother and walk that extra mile, because we now have a reason to stand tall and walk proud. Continue to Live, and dream the dream that you’ve hoped for, because in due time that dream would have become a reality. Knowing that within the debts of your hearts you’ve maintained your spirituality.
Believing in the one that has formed you without blemish , who has loved, cherished, and created you in his own image.
For Generations we have been brutally beaten, and treated as out casts.
And even as in today’s time we're still repeating the past.
No matter how hard that road is to travel, nor how rough that storm gets.
Our gloriously victory will arise, and just over the mountain-top I can see the sunshine.
Once again standing in the awe of harmony, singing and praising the sweet hyms of victory. Knowing that the battle was well worth the fight, and to all who have endured from the time of our grandparents continue to let that light shine so bright.
Stand Strong Blackman and recapture your character!
Proclaim the gift that was instilled in you and re-master
Continue to strive for nothing less other than profection, and you will have accomplished a great deal and gained true satisfaction.
And then you will have known that you’ve been put through a great test,
Knowing truly within your heart and soul; you have done your very best.

Oh please not again
Please don’t leave me alone with him
I can’t say for sure, but I think that I know
What he will do to me when you go
My heart beats fast, I’m scared inside
I can’t tell you why I want to hide
You don’t understand, you just need some time
You can’t see that I’m crying inside
I fell dirty and guilty, that’s why I don’t tell
I don’t understand why I’m put through this Hell
I’m just a kid, I am not brave
He’s the adult, he should behave
But that day won’t come for a while
I try to endure and put on a smile
Oh this secret I must keep
For 10 more years without a peep
And when I finally let it out
There is no peace, there is just doubt
What have I done? I’ve made you cry.
I don’t blame you, I don’t imply
But I can see inside your eyes
You feel at fault, you’re asking why
There was nothing you could do
I kept this secret safe from you
10 plus years it’s been since then
I’ve done the work, I’ve forgiven him.

Tears of Success

We told at a young age
You can make it as long, as we get good grades
If we behave;
We told hard work and dedication prevails
We not told what will happen if we fail

A life time's Aim for Lusting for fortune and fame
Just to have it, so abruptly taken away
We not told have much life can strain
Drain every single bit of life away
Have our dreams crushed to a size of a dusty grain
Have our wounds cut openly, so the world can see our bloody mistakes

Emotionally and physically scared
But those scars
Make you the person who you are
For them critics to tell you, they don't like your art
Its like having a rusty dagger put through your heart
Your dreams and self believe torn apart
To get right back up and march
On regardless of your past
Gives you heart

So dream bigger
Don’t be afraid to look at yourself in the mirror
Get the courage to not be a quitter
And stop yourself feeling bitter
Through literature I paint them the picture

I painted my own Self portrait
I portrait-ed
me as I see myself, a distraught face
glum misfortune fate
but looking back in mirror is a gorgeous face

You got Self esteem problems your not being honest
Don't listen to your sub conscience
Fear is what kills dreams, just think positive
Don't listen to these critics there talking nonsense
I've taken loses I've taken being at the bottom
I've promise
To myself to never doubt myself by there comment
In the hope one day they pay homage
To the pain of my voyage...

But the chilling truth
critics only start hearing you
the moment death is nearing you.

Living In the Past

The Emancipation Proclamation was put
into effect in 1863,
That meant freedom for slaves,
the ones who looked like me,
blood, sweat, and bullets were shed along
with tears,
innocent civilians put through years of hell
and fed with fears,
nooses invaded necks,
in the home of the brave,
in the home of the slaves,
blood flowing as they gaze,
lynchings were congregational,
often invitational,
white kids kids were taught to look at
them as merely educational,
he is just another tally in the stat book,
slaves screaming until exhaustion as they
were made to look,
saliva often found homes on the pits of
our face,
jeopardizing our case,
exasperating our race,
if you had children they often vanished
without a trace,
we were taught not to embrace,
each other in any way,
I know the only way we made it out is the
good Lord's grace..

Play it in a real, don’t left it as place we Lend,

You don’t know life after death is Infinite,

Every moment you think positive, You seems to be Fly,
It vision You strong, Put Through Your Aim High,

Don’t count what you have lost, Just see what You have Now,
Future can give back your lost things, You have to searched How! !

Life is a Question, Just like a playing (Cards) Game There,
Answer is, right now in Your Heart Here,

Life is Game, its all about Your Aim!
Burning every thing around us Just after a Flame.

You Don'T Know My Story

My hearts been chopped, sliced and grated
By everybody who has hated
The way my life has been going
True feelings never showing
Hiding all the pain down deep
A happy smile tryna keep
Up the illusion it don't hurt
How I get treated like dirt
I can't help the way I am
Why can't others understand
I'm not a geek, loser or nerd
But my whole life I have heard
Remarks so derogatory
Take the time to know my story
Why I don't drink or do drugs
Then you'd change your words to hugs
Opening your heart and eyes
Finally you would realize
This little girl who raised herself
Without any kind of help
Is gonna stay drug free and clean
Alcohol will not be seen
In her body, I refuse
To be put through the abuse
Like other people from my past
Respecting myself and this task

The Bikini

THE BIKINI
I've decided to get into shape,
Though knowing I'll never be skinny,
Would just like to lose a few pounds,
So I could wear a bright red bikini

The way to lose weight, I'm told,
Is to join a class at the gym,
After a few weeks, they're sure,
I'd be on the right track to slim
.
But I became a little skeptical
When told loose clothing to wear.
If I had any loose clothing,
I wouldn't need to be there!

The first class was absolute agony,
Perspiring and jumping around,
Then onto the treadmill I went,
Hoping I'd walk off a pound.

At last that gym class was over,
I'd really been put through a test,
With aching limbs I was thankful,
I could finally go home to rest.

Dreaming of that gorgeous bikini,
Encouraged me to lose weight,
But after gym I'd be so hungry,
I piled up the food on my plate.

After six weeks of gym classes,
That bikini might be within reach.
Weighing, I stepped on the scales,
With visions of me at the beach.

The hand of the scales moved forward,
I just couldn't believe what I saw,
Expecting to have lost a few pounds,
I weighed even more than before!

Well that put an end to my dreaming,
Of a bright red bikini on me,
It's back to my dark one-piece swimsuit,
Which covers me from neck to knee.
