I look for your magic in the moonlight
Listening for the secrets you will tell
I wish for you to be my dream tonight

I do not know if it is wrong or right
You leave me powerless under your spell
I look for your magic in the moonlight

Take control of me I do not wish to fight
You even mesmorize me with your smell
I wish for you to be my dream tonight

I wish to fly on your string like a kite
Tethered to you I am secure and well
I look for your magic in the moonlight

So I travel with you into the night
Nothing compares to the stories you tell
I wish for you to be my dream tonight

You my lover with your eyes shining bright
You lifted me up whenever I fell
I look for your magic in the moonlight
I wish for you to be my dream tonight

All insecurities that hold me- in a flash are gone completely, I break free
I am not powerless or useless, and I am not careless- unless I choose to be
- I am not a hero, not even a zero, however. . this I know
I am me, powerful as that may be

~ A powerful little scribble ~
Always spoken from the heart

Author's Note- Thoughts such as these seem to find my muse at times. In order to display a powerful message.

The Power of a Panic Attack

The powerful palpitations pounding in my chest,
Will my heart with stand this test,
Another attack has just begun,
Abracadabra out it sprung.

Piercing pain constricting my chest,
My ribs collapsing, the attack conquering its quest,
Each breath harder, sharper, shallower than the next,
My fingers hastily clawing at my chests raw flesh.

Panic awakens my pale plain face,
Every gasp leaves a lingering lifeless taste,
Time is of the essence, prayers wont save me now,
The devils claws run deep and are dragging me down.

Awaiting me, a fiery hell of tortured terror,
My lungs burn is my soul to be condemned forever,
Just one deep breath to save my soul hear me saviour,
I beg of you I am not ready to meet my maker.

Finally the attack releases my air way,
The fatal fear and fantasies begin to fade away,
I have survived another panic attack today.

Powerless

Powerless
By Rick Rucker

Do you suppose that Cupid planned my Fate?
And that I only learned it far too late?

Did he search the whole World over, just for you?
Knowing that I could not resist the things you do?

Or, did he change you into someone that I could not resist?
And that I would be a goner once we kissed?

Did he make you far too lovely to look upon?
And once I held you, all my sense would be gone?

Are you really, really what I see?
Or, are you just what I want you to be?

Can a man truly find the object of his dreams?
Can Love really be as lovely as this seems?

Until these questions are answered, I will stay,
Saying grateful prayers, for every single day,

I have no idea what I might have done,
That would have earned me the Love of The One,

The One that makes my world turn around,
The One that keeps my feet clear of the ground,

The One that has transformed my Life,
The One that has consented to be my Wife!

Lightning cut the power off four times this week
As sultry summer storms pass overhead
By candlelight, I write a letter to my sweetheart
Without him, I feel powerless

Without him, I feel powerless
By candlelight, I write a letter to my sweetheart
As sultry summer storms pass overhead
Lightning cut the power off four times this week.

Powerless

She fell in love with him
or so she thought
She didnt realize that she fell in love with a sickness consumed in a mans body
Pleasure intertwined with depths of pain that broke her
He played her emotions as a form of entertainment
Seeing how much he could take her love for granted
How far he could keep his puppet on a string
She loved him so hard it built him into a god
Feeding his empty soul with worship while draining hers
She was the ground he walked on
Making sure to dig his heels in with every step
She was a daisy he so easily plucked away at
Leaving her lifeless with no more love to give
Empty, she walked away
Without her he was nothing

No one is powerless against their addiction.
All that's truly required is to seriously practice self discipline,
and work on those issues of yours unresolved within,
that prompts you to hide behind drugs or abusive drinking.
I celebrated thirty years of sobriety by having a drink.
That was five years ago, and I can count on one hand the drinks I've had since.

Powerless

This rain is coming,
                                             In our life,
                                             As winds blow it forward,
                                             no more strife,
                                             So powerless to fight,
                                             in all it's fury,
                                             In all that we know,
                                             never a worry,
                                             For within is our love,
                                             in all it's fullness,
                                             Our rain of love,
                                             in all it's goodness.

Powerless Without Humility?

I have gladly greeted another glorious day,
dazzling with bright sun-rays and new faith;
and as hope regains its strength with ease,
morning comforts me with a refreshing breeze!

These weapons of hatred I've thrown away,
feeling with a sudden vindication,to be
the victor over the tyrant whose pride isn't burning;
even forgiveness needs no imploring!
Ever rejoice, humble heart and fill me
with contentment;I am shunning hostility
as my fiercest,most belligerent enemy,
who had entrapped me with malignity!

Now, resentment vanishes,leaving no traces;
an exuberant smile reappears on this face:
conflicts so harsh have ended this debate...
there's no minimal animosity to alleviate!

Never forget, forgiving heart, that every sad event
I've been tried for,wasn't a want of vanity;
and will I ever feel unnoticed, lost
and powerless without humility?

Powerless - a Note.

It’s not that God is powerless,
It’s just that God is afraid.
                                                                                     - Ivan Beresford.

Lies Are Powerless Up Against Mistrust

Occasionally right,
However, mostly wrong
Like fraudulent daylight,
Tall tales which suffer long
That frequent deafened ears,
So demonstrates belief.
Anticipating fears
May offer some relief.
While filtering the smoke
Of life's insanity,
The gasping children choke.
From predators prey flea.

Powerless

No one else has brought about this emotion
Your love pulls me into another world with you
It tugs and lingers throughout my being
It instructs me that there's nothing I wouldn't do

For the sake of my sanity I listen to my body
I follow along with my feelings, I comply
The power it has over me is something strong
I am weak to overcome it and I would never deny

You tickle my heart strings with your love
It's an adventure to be along on the ride
Ecstatically wanting to be near you all the time
Wanting to be right by your side

For your love I am blessed forever
It brings me a happiness I hold near
Melodically the rhythm of your voice is with me
Registering a deep heart beat when it's you i hear
