Welcome my dear
what can I do you for?
I offer spells and charms galore

A love philter you say?
I know just the thing
When I am done
to you he’ll cling

When sun takes its bow at the close of day
In a place where ocean waves meet bay
Let curtains close to mortal sight
Behold
desire’s flame ignites

Employing drift wood
in the sand
Inscribe his name
Feel heart expand
Stir 3 times in clockwise motion
Whilst we brew this lover’s potion

A drop of blood
a strand of hair
Will free you soon from your despair
You’ll feel the warmth spread through your
being
You’ll both find this most agreeing

Feel wind’s breath upon thy cheek
Sacred words you now must Speak
Tell the Earth, the wind and fire
Inform the water of your desire

Let Cupid’s compass spin once more
For His benevolence you must implore
East and south
West and north
Spirits of seduction I call thee forth

Hark to the rhythm of the drums that pound
Thrashing out the heart beat
of the one to be spell bound

Whilst the bonfire slowly dies
Images flash before his eyes
Untie him now
He will behave
I have cast a spell
He is enslaved

Hit him now with passion dart
And then my dear you have done your part
All that’s remains is for you both
To gulp it down
Let’s have a toast

Before you do you will pay me now
There are others who need me anyhow
His Affection will grow like weeds
I must away now to do good deeds

Will my enchantment stand the test of time?
I hear you ask, Well they’ll be just fine
Sleep now children in my domain
I promised to free you from your pain
Their lust will last eternally
Till I dump their bodies in the sea

I knew I loved you, I knew I always did, I loved you then,
Every day of then, so much I’d lay down to die.
We had a rainbow, navigating this Earth,
A spectacular, impossible rainbow filling our sky.

I loved you when you tackled my heart, grappled it down,
Held it, stomped it into the ground.
My heart became obedient, yearning for your word,
Patiently waiting for it’s turn to come around.

But you stood, foot firmly on loves throat,
Making sure it couldn’t breathe or move or moan.
You stood as we watched our love quietly die,
Watching as I built our love’s headstone.

But you didn’t realise my love was smart and strong,
That it had planted a seed before it died.
This seed grew into a new rainbow, a new love of my life,
That was strong and honest, it was dignified.

My memories I’ll always respect, always nurture,
Cherish like an honest hands on martial art.
And I’ll always defend my soul with this magical karate,
Used by the formidable love that’s in my heart.

Finding Loves Potion That Puts Our Hearts Into Full Motion

My days filled with your inspiration
Anticipating our love vibration
That makes my heart start racing
Chasing our dreams with all this sensation
Of our feelings that have come unmasked
Trying to keep our lives on task
Moving forward not able to really grasp

How our love outlasted
What our hearts are telling us so fast
Knowing, whatever happens, will be a blast
from our feelings attached to the past
Believing they were safe to hide
Testing time farther then we can glide
while we deal with life's emotional ride

Asking the good Lord to carry us to the other side
Trying to deal with our passion we just let slide
With all these emotions stuck on high
Our memories very much Alive
Tucked away so deep inside
That has our thoughts all tied up in knots

Finding loves potion
That puts our hearts into full motion
Giving us both this up close notion
Created from our sincere devotion
Has outlasted many things that have come to pass
Holding onto the love that we won't surpass

Our secrets, we carry so real inside
Taking this locomotion on an amazing ride
That allows our friendship to fly
Up in the sky reflecting on high
When our spirits ignite taking flight
To secure all these moments that have been so right

Might have seemed so far out of sight
What we have been missing night after night
Knowing you are my sunlight
That keeps my world so bright
Making our wait so worth the fight
Keeping us both moving forward upright
With our love that we ignite
Every moment with you so full of light

That carries us into the limelight
Inviting our words we recite
On any given day that just takes us away
Where we can sway like it was yesterday
Making it impossible to just let it all lay
Knowing you are in my heart to stay
Keeping our love in play
I wouldn't have it any other way

Who hasn’t heard of the notion
The secret recipe for love potion
Can detonate a frenzied explosion
While stirring carnal emotion
Wild winds setting in motion
The sails ablaze on blue ocean
Stars above burn in devotion
Igniting the spark of implosion
Catapulting a heart in commotion

REGAINING SANITY

I wake up to the waft of a warm sea breeze,
The rock and roll of waves entice and tease,
The thunderous African sea crashes down,
But beyond this crashing and prancing,
There is calm,
Where surfers pattern the ocean forming
A majestic human crown!
We go down to the beach, it is early morn,
Sight two whales and a large
Pod of dolphins
Which leap up and dive, repeating this action,
Within a fraction of a fraction
Of a second, until they
Reach their destination.
A wild paradise where seagulls fly above,
Squawking diving and looking eagerly
For their next meal,
Even if they have to steal,
From their comrades!
The tide goes out with a forceful current,
I saw a fin lurking close to shore,
Perhaps two sharks a formidable pair.
But several dolphins narrow their path,
The sharks disappear!
We spend the morning lying on golden sand,
The sea was inviting but the waves
Still crashing, dancing, frothing
And churning.
The suns gentle rays,
Tickled the ocean,
As if they have swallowed
A love potion!
And the water sparkled
Resembling little diamonds
As they bobbed up and down,
The sea looked like a dance ball and
Ladies wearing brilliant ball gowns.
We go back to our flat and sit on our
Spacious balcony,
Watching the ocean and relaxing,
And regaining, redefining our sanity!
Ordered sushi from downstairs and with
A glass of wine,
It’s definitely now siesta time!

Jesus was at Bethany, in the house of Simon
When a woman with an alabaster flask in evidence
Would anoint Jesus with ointment as expensive as diamonds
Making the disciples incensed with the extravagance

Jesus’ disciples claimed this should have been sold
And given to the poor who deserved such a gift
But Jesus answered them with words to behold
Saying the ointment wasn’t intended for thrift

Jesus told his disciples this woman had anointed His head
For the burial that would be coming they knew not when
He told them that wherever the gospel was spread
This woman would be remembered for this once again

Jesus blessed this woman for her elaborate offering
As she spread the ointment like some would a love potion
Some may wonder if she discerned of His coming suffering
And gave Him her very best as a showing of her devotion

Read Matthew 26:6-13 for the full gospel story

Premium Member Betrayal Is the Bitter Potion

Betrayal is a bitter poison
Hearts that love sometimes endure
At times there is no reason or rhyme
Yet, it always cuts deeply for sure

Betrayal is the bitter potion
Served by your sweetest desire
No reason or rhyme is there at times
Some will say the universe conspires

Betrayal is the unexpected
Un announced, knocking upon your door
At times there’s no reason or rhyme
It causes mayhem; it kills the joy

Betrayal is a silent killer
Insidious, it creeps in your bones
No reason or rhyme is there at times
Beware, it's a demon on the roam

My love philtre

9 drops of vanilla extract..

My true love

Santeria Love Potion Number 9

after all those sleepless nights
i figured it out.
I'm not sick without you
I don't even miss you.
a piece of our sex is stuck in my sinuses;
like a virus is.

i can't remember how it felt to be inside you,
but i can taste it when i spit.
Your sweat a carnal vinaigrette,
lips like mandarin oranges swimming in rose-water.
Soufflé sighs and martini moans.
 pallet full, stomach empty.

Your face is a white blur, no black, maybe grey
no
all these are too colorful.
You're a shapeless cloud of vapor
Refracting headlights on winding lonesome roads in my mind.
Perfume.
Au' du recklessness,
an earthy mix of lavender and salamander slime.
lakewater and sublime sing-alongs.
santeria love potion number 9.

My thoughts of thee
Equal an ocean measured by tears
And all of death measured by fears

My want of thee the sum
Of grains of sand under the sea
The leaves of every living tree

My dreams of thee
More than stars the eyes can see
More than blades of grass that be

My breath having purpose each one
More than raindrops or rays of sun
More than the winning of each heart won

Every beat of my heart
Is a mission for you
Every second I'm near a dream come true

When you die then I'll die
Because there is simply no way
I'll torture myself living without you

Ghazal-The Spell In the Potion

Incited by her Allure Sensuelle...
a vulnerable man is noticed by all.

Quite by nature, I rarely frequent clubs...
loud music turns me into a demon from hell.

She brought me so many Martinis on the Rocks...
I drank them too quickly and took a bad fall.

The spell in the potion must have acted too slowly...
I showed her respect, but she became too sensual.

Discovering the foul play, I was dismayed by her madnesss...
she left in a hurry and disappeared down the crowded hall.

Love Potion Number 9

Wearing thick glasses
and braces on her buck teeth,
Professor Harriet carried
her pile of books while accidentally
stepping into the wet cement,
going into her lab to go wash up,
afterwards she decided to work
on a different kind of experiment,
tired of feeling nutty, mousey,
klutzy and insecure,
she whipped up a concoction
that would surely help her to score,
having a mad crush on one of
the other professors who also
like her had a very high I.Q.,
she wanted a relationship
that was more than "how
do you do?"
taking the lab beakers and
mixing her ingredients,
she guzzled down the
fizzing liquid speedily,
feeling at once more
attractive and confident,
this time when outside she
stepped around the wet cement,
going into the professor's break
room for a bite to eat,
she saw Professor Jerry
and sat beside him in
an empty seat,
batting her eyes and smiling
all the while,
Professor Jerry asked if something
was wrong with her eye,
Harriet nodded no and shook her
hair out of her bun,
swirling her long mane all around
and getting hair in all hers and
Prof. Jerry's open stunned mouth,
she apologized and asked Jerry out,
Jerry blushed, got up, tripped
and fell down,
saying shyly with his buck
teeth, "I guess so, why not!"
Harriet said how about after school,
he fumbled for his composure
and finally said, "alright!"
So a couple of hours later
Professor Harriet got ready
for her first date at age 38,
still feeling attractive and
confident at any rate,
all at once hearing her
door bell ring on time,
making sure she had an
extra dose for her date
of love potion number 9...
6 months later they
got married and settled
in the suburbs,
where today they live with
their 3 little kids who like them
wear thick glasses and
are all nutty brainiacs!
