Premium Member My Heart Regifted

Forgive me for loving you, even though you never asked,
a secret kept like a pebble in my shoe, now smarting.
If heart dares to belong, it's just a weakness from my past.

Make scars worth the fight, put back the pin from grenade you grasped,
moment of truth arrives, met with two lips bruised and parting.
Forgive me for loving you, even though you never asked.

I thought I walked the streets alone, wearing a grotesque mask.
You were inside me all along, sweet message imparting.,
if heart dares to belong, it's just a weakness from my past.

How I've missed your awaited touch, and hoping it would last,
our sun grant'd pardons galore, for love's kindled restarting.
Forgive me for loving you, even though you never asked.

I didn't say why I came back, you never took me to task.
tho' written in an inkling, the tear your eye was guarding..
if heart dares to belong, it's just a weakness from my past.

You never miss something until it goes and die is cast.
Your present regifted, from a long ago departing.
Forgive me for loving you, even though you never asked.
If heart dares to belong, it's just a weakness from my past.

Premium Member The Art of Understanding

You so desperately
Want to be understood
So I wonder
Why
Why do you
Hold back
So much of yourself

I see him digging
Chipping at your edges
Wondering what's behind the facade
He waits between your breaths
Ponders your pauses
Looks for answers
Pardons your harshness

He sees beyond the obvious
Is aware of your audible sadness
The place no one touches
Imperceptibly he reaches
Pushes past your protective
To the deeper you
The precious part
The unknown softness
The magnificence of you
The inner art
The revelation
of an unsequestered heart

For in letting go
You can be freed
Reach out for his hand
Let him take the lead
For he deserves
all of you
You deserve
all of him too
I see
I understand
I know
It's hard to let go
He's patient and will move slow
If you both want it
Love will grow
And you will be
Truly
Finally
Understood

Devils Favorite Things

How can people want rights but they aren't right
While working in the daylight with souls bright as night
The creator shall judge the judges, The evil deserves evil
Good people will get what is equal to their actions
And immoral skin passions have fatal lessons
God has a scale where He weighs & sits
Because everything has equal opposite
We selfish to others but hold our nose when they sell theirs
And not giving pardons while expecting God’s cares
And blessings while leaving others with our bee stings
Now turn to your devil’s favorite things
Praying to join the heavenly choir
But with an evil song you desire
So retire before you join the hell fire.

To be right there's no wrong, the righteous are morally strong
You need more than calcium to be the backbone of society
While society breaks you, to makes you. Surprisingly,
The -able are ignorant and unstable
Unable to add-up in the moral table
Telling fables of multiplication while being divided
Trying to add reasoning in facts provided
Their individualism is subtracting from the fold
Being percentages of a percentage, losing the stronghold
False foundation told about a “Doomed Youth”
While the witty wise horde the fake truth
As the truly righteous shake their head and sings
Go ahead with the devil’s favorite things
Praying to join the heavenly choir
But with an evil song you desire
So retire before you join the hell fire.

The battle of truth lies in the beheading of lies
The Righteous must write us
For justice to be just to us and right us
Bleeding thoughts to think, words to ink
Carving insight to push sanity to the brink
Punching Intel, in mind, for knowledge to sink
Unfold stories consoled foretell tails told
Today's prophets profit profits with souls they forfeit
Crumbling towers with warped foundations
Ripping families but cursed lives they’re facin’
Losing the troubleshooting; uprooting with a booting
Bearing false fruits flawed brings
Now play with your devil’s favorite things
Praying to join the heavenly choir
But with an evil song you desire
So retire before you join the hell fire.

Premium Member Oblivion

To see and yet not see, the world around,
As time passes unattained, unadmired, silent.
A ghost in a realm that seemed to confound.
To which dereliction a truth compliant.
Yearning for yearning is a futile dream.
While gathered thoughts grow from worthless gardens.
Tilled by false promises of self-esteem.
Left with lies of invisible pardons.
To die in a place where life is barren,
And no one understands the crying voice.
From rags to bones a cold lifeless carrion
Died alone to perish, a beggar's choice.

To be an old story that was unheard.
Those around never heard a single word.

For sure make the "Dreamers" USA citizens
Release Mexican children held in cages and unite with family
Work to achieve Climate Change with advisors and scientist
Form a plan to reduce pollution in the rivers, lakes and oceans
Find ways to help endangered species and loss of habitat
Put a stop to import of trophy hunter kills from other countries
Work to create a friendly relations with Canada and Mexico
Respect the rights and treaties of the native Indians
Put into action an end to police brutality with zero tolerance
Work on how to end racial prejudice for all races and religions
Create a great health care plan for all citizens
Improve relations with allies and all countries of the world
Work on gun reforms making ownership more restrictive
Make prison sentences have no option for parole or pardons

Surfing new releases
On the poetry site
When up popped a new ad
To my sheer delight!
From "Pardons Canada"
All flashy and red
Replete with maple leafs...
Sold! On I read.

"Need a Canadian pardon?"

Rubbing my eyes,
Have I got the whole story?
We're selling a rebrand;
Pardon the new "sorry".

Premium Member What We Gave

It was the year of Nineteen Forty One
when I was a young, new bride,
there was a sneak attack upon our ships
and so many good men died.

Our president announced we were at war
and we knew lives would be changed.
How dare they attack the USA?
Are their leaders all deranged?

Eager to defend our loved homeland,
we volunteered our everything.
What we gave was all but necessities,
to no luxuries did we cling.

Every able man was declared ready
to go fight the enemy.
The women filled essential jobs
to protect our loved country.

We gave up our loved silk stockings
and went bare-legged without shame.
We inked seams up the back of legs
and just hoped pen had good aim.

Most items were carefully rationed,
sugar, coffee, meat and much more.
Groceries were doled out to us,
it mattered not were we rich or poor.

Gasoline enough get to work,
there was none for casual driving.
No new cars or toasters or non-war items
were in stores or show rooms arriving

We learned how to make old things last,
turned our yards into Victory Gardens
and raised our own food for those long years.
Laggards earned no grace or pardons.

Those who gave the most were soldiers,
who were happy to answer the call
and the families they left behind
were the ones who gave their all.

But we all gave for our country.
We united to win the war.
We each gave what we had to give
and would gladly have given more.

Friendship With God

 quatrain with anapestic trimeter

Jesus Christ, holy God, pardons sin;
I give praise and respect to the Christ.
His good grace as I ask - is a win
since for His love, no price would suffice.

In no way does no price mean no cost.
For God’s mercy's a gift He presents.
Left unopened, this present is lost
for eternity – wasted expense.

The real cost for our Lord was His blood;
lives redeemed, sinners suffer no loss.
And our God sends His Spirit to flood
the new life with the pow'r of the cross.

Sin's a breach between man and his God.
He deserves no mere shallow embrace.
No believer with simply a nod
understands the full cost of His grace.

When we forfeit expedience, how
does a friendship with God e'er begin?
Jesus Christ wants obedience now
unto God, the Forgiver of sin.

Hear this proverb and wonder thereof,
A friend's worth, your intent and its end.
Hear it well, "There is NO greater love
than to lay down your life for your friend.”

"NEMESIS"

“Where do Angels go in their dreams?
They go where wolves go to catch foxes,
venturing forth out of small caged boxes
to the Between-Hours of Lost Love Woods”

NEMESIS
is watching her
from his dreams
prowling soft Silver fur
hear his soft-wolf tread,
Nemesis has left his comfortable bed
he is onto her, he is tracking her Heavenly scent

She is Light Angel
spreading luminous wings
shining it all around,
she thinks of escaping
barefoot from this sullied ground;
her skin is cold to the touch,
no longer standing sentry
she's lost in the murky
Between-Hours of Lost Love Woods,

Black Tulips abound

Wolf is stalking her,
her scent makes him wild;
lurking, nearer, ever nearer
invading her dreams of better
neighbourhoods and childish things
simple and clearer, she is
spreading brand new wings to freedom,
away from Black Dogs in their prisons
those kicked out of Heaven,
barking their ignored plea bargains
of rushed stolen innocence, begging -
all of their pardons are lost, 'tis a given,
her hot angel tears turn to frost

Nemesis soft-footed paw,
back arching, he snarls, bares his fangs
then he grins, he's closer much closer
he can feel her in the skin under his fur,
he’s hunting Her down,
breathes his turgid breath
all over "The Lost",
the hidden creatures running quietly wild,
in the Between-Hours of Lost Love Woods;
beckoning her, his low growl ever nearer,
ever never, his hot breath on the prowl
reaching out for her
he’s raging to roar -
in her sees his mirror

There are stories, she hears,
of a Wolf on the loose from his cage in
the Between-Hours of Lost Love Woods -
she forgets the real reason she came,
calmly brings her wings down by her side,
she continues to shine her light all around,
she can feel him

Burning hot breath on her neck,
he growls ever so softly, so clear in her ear,
“Don’t Run Sweet Thing, Don’t Run,
You are found, I am here.”

Black Tulips abound

All is not well
In this kibbutz
Distant thunder
Suffers, pardons

Armour crumbles
In this temple
Does the keeper's
Soul surrender?

Aren't the roots here
In this dark soil
Drinking like some
Suckers should?

And we will stay
In this dim light
Dragging echoes
Somewhere else

Aiming blame
In others' corners
Dowsing these flames
So we can breathe

And the wonder
In our slumber
Dregs our blood
So sick, so sick

Lost Battles

Rubies and blue sapphires all winking in the sun
as they topple down the stream
today the bloodshed’s done.
Lo the fallen kingdom, the people all enslaved
wickedness upon them, not one will be saved.

Royal purple satin, overlaid in gold
carried in a babbling brook,
collecting river mold.
Lo the bloody water, the desecrated field
carrion birds as judges, and naught will be repealed.

Broken swords and broken shields are littered all around,
the body of a crownless king
is prostrate on the ground.
His arms are reaching toward the bank and nothing in his hands
outstretched toward a kingdom lost, upon the bloodied sands.

So kneel and pledge your fealty to the headless royal crown
join it in the depths below,
breathe in - and then just drown.
Or bow your head upon the blocks, the axe above you hangs
hunger for what once was yours, and suffer from the pangs.

No mercy will be given, no pardons and no grace
the foe is screaming at the gate,
“Surrender, show your face!”
The only option left for you is rise and try to run
or join the captive sapphires all winking in the sun.

Lord, I Believe But

 dramatic verse

LORD, your mission I long to fulfill.
I know at times I hinder Your grace.
BELIEVE, You plead. -- I believe until
HELP is put on hold and doubts displace
THOU, God, the one Master of my will
MY deepest need is strength to erase
UNBELIEF -- to wait patiently still.

I need you Savior, LORD, my Surety,
counting it joy when I profess You are mine.
So when I fail to BELIEVE deplorably,
questioning your HELP, asking for signs,
O how very great THOU art, I sing to thee.
In your presence, MY faith I refine
and break off UNBELIEF, infidelity.

Jesus Christ, my unchanging LORD
totally pardons me I know. Once I
made my original choice to BELIEVE,
He’s always been nearby to HELP.
Reprove me, O Holy Spirit, THOU
can remove what I do not need-- MY
self-seeking pride, alas my UNBELIEF.

written 8/16/2014

inspired by:Mark 9:23-24, (when Christ healed the boy of demonic spirits)
23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. 24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Childhood Days

My childhood days
Are my golden rays
When I'm now whining
I feel my childhood smiling
No beating , No pain
No knowledge about cheating , always our reign
We spent our days crying
And whatever we asked our parents kept buying
We played and played - for day and night
And our eyes were always bright
Our eyes spoke of mischief
Our hands held a kerchief
No books , No burdens
Talkative as the youth brooks , as we had pardons
No one ever thought of scolding us
Even though we made a big a fuss
Our innocent faces saved us
But not today , which shows us
Born in a cradle
Fed with a ladle
I wore mittens
Similar to those worn by the 3 little kittens
I knew no one
Except my pa and mum
I was shy
As I did not know with colors I could fly
I loved those times
I grew with rhymes
I was free like a bird
Even in the family herd
But schools spoiled my joy for ever
In the first two stages of kindergarten I enjoyed very clever
The third stage showed me what hell was
And grew as a greater hell in every class
Bags and bags
All those nasty rags
I wish I could go back to my childhood
I can't , but in my school I can enjoy Brotherhood
It would be wonderful to be in our own world
And its possible only in our childhood days
Always cherish your childhood memories.....
which are golden ......
