Best Out Of Sight Poems

Put Them Out of Sight Now
Lay down your old ink pen...
Rise from the table...
Push back your chair.
Gather them all up...
Put them out of sight now...
Place them safely in the cupboard
Bare.
Wrapped in stiff brown paper,
Strung tightly together
With thin white string;
Turn over the smooth copper key;
Resign yourself, reluctantly,
To quietly leave...

the sun at twilight
leaving a trail of beauty
like smoke from incense

scarlet macaw flight
through deep green on verge of dusk
indigo follows

mysterious bug
fireflies twinkle all the June
in touch with the moon...

Out of Sight
t's dawn again ushering light to mother earth,
Like pregnancy to the young one, its a new birth,
But the sky, so clear
that I gaze into it with deep fear,
so I ask will it rain again,
to drown away my pouring tears and piercing pain.

Long, dark and rolling...

Out of Sight, Out of Mind
I lost a friend; Jason really loved his gin.
One night while he was on a binge.
He walked off into the deep end,
now no one has ever seen Jason again.

I lost a friend; his life was his duffle sack.
One day he headed to Iraq.
I didn’t know...

Out of Sight Out of Mind
You charm me for days with words you text
Then I'm completely ignored, left feeling perplexed
Maybe you're afraid that we're moving with haste
But totally ignoring me leaves me with a bitter taste

If you need your space then kindly inform me so
I have a life and other...

Out of Sight
Elderly Ed Yates had trouble seeing
but he kept on driving unperceiving.
Alas one day he slipped
and he and his car flipped.
The mess he left was beyond conceiving....

Out of Sight, Out of Mind
I thought of you today
 I never imagined I would
Out of sight out of mind
 Or so I hoped

 You flew
 You grew
You were too close to the sun
 I thought I told you
 Not to fall
 Fall to the ground

 Out of...

Out of Sight, Out of Mind
out of mind
out of sight
was what you said last night
as the light was turned off
and I walked away shackled in shameful handcuffs
skillfully placed when I wasn’t looking

out of sight
was what we used to be
strutting our stuff across the stage
like when James Brown was...

Out of Sight
I saw a small child in a department store
Playing in the aisle
He was running here and there
His parents were close by
But they appeared not to care

After all the shopping was done
They realized
They could not find their son

They were stunned and both started to shake
The fear...

Out of Sight, Deep Into Mind
You have come undone
And I was air.
Then I betrayed you- not with a man,
But with a country that owned me blind
And enchanted to the edges.
This alingual scent of a colorless skin
Tamed my cells into being loud
And I am numbed of life now.
I perspire a...

Out of Sight
Out of sight
Out of mind
What a lie
Such a crime
He is thousands of miles away
But his face remains clear
in my mind's eye
I hold him near
I feel his soft touch
His warm embrace
Just thought of it
Bring's a smile to my face
I miss him
I want him to know...

Just Out of Sight
I feel you there beyond the veil
a tenderness never before known

soft moving as a warm spring breeze
your touch I feel so brief

I love you words never needed
your sorrows are mine

even though I can not see
not one tear shed on your cheek

your whispers of...
