Dealey Plaza, are you keeping right on the still unresolved Elm street?

I had a cat, a large one
I thought I loved the cat
The cat thought he loved me too!

Then, one day,
They took the cat away
The cat, with the bassinet, the little furry presence
And Sameeha’s science club chapstick
And I thought I was kissing scientific a book cover
Where he is artistic in a beauty in the other way, rare.

It was a cat. After all, it was just a cat
It had the nicest jacket ,
with hoodies on,
the cat used to sit on time,
the cat
And it had the fish, tummy time, happy face, and everything first time
For I never yearn to come back! For there, to chime!

It is just a known type of pain that I knew for far too long!

On a question paper, pm time, departmental too

Dealey Plaza, are you keeping right on the still unresolved Elm street?
Heavenly God , do you play around heavenly to utter Godsay, is your slip
Where you do not know usually after or before the strait the gate
You never knew Jack Ruby and you never knew Oswald

So you never knew other than too much other than, Please, other tall!

Premium Member Beginning of the Downfall

I was a senior in high school and I still remember
That Friday afternoon in late November
Early dismissal after saying a prayer
Disbelief and sadness filling the air

He was a man with vision and a silver tongue
He was the type of leader who inspired the young
A political wisdom in spite of his youth
They appointed a commission to suppress the truth

A Russian immigrant would be accused of the crime
They had him shot to give the cover up more time
Witnesses died mysteriously over the next five years
Media controls what the nation hears

Too many questions still unanswered today
With government involvement they all got away
The story on every radio and television station
Watching the beginning of the downfall of a nation.

In my heart, I believe Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby
And the American people were all victims of a cover up
By our own government. God Bless JFK.

Everything Is Not As It Seems

Back in '63,
I remember vividly,
only 6 years old,
and watching our
black and white tv,
showing Lee Harvey Oswald
being escorted down the hall,
handcuffed and under arrest,
when out of the blue
Jack Ruby walks up and
shoots him in the chest,
I was little, but knew in my heart
that there should have been
better security and
that dead men can't talk...
then growing up
with the Vietnam War,
still wonder to this day,
what that war was really all about,
and was it all based on money,
especially when I shop for a top,
and see that most of
the clothes are made
in some Vietnamese sweatshop,
hearing people go over
there even for a vacation,
I doubt that its people
who grew up in my generation...
then comes 9/11,
with all the buildings
coming down,
I believe they were detonated,
and that is why when they fell,
they pancaked to the ground,
thousands of innocent people,
burned alive, some jumping
from windows 100 stories high,
you just keep asking,
why, oh why?…
could it all be, just another cover up,
when they smile on tv
and then sweep everything under the rug?
Now all these recent shootings,
at all these different places,
you don't know if its real or not,
or if its a black flag operation,
alls I know is that everything
is not as it seems,
even though its like a very bad dream,
they can't pull the wool over my eyes,
seems to me they want to get rid
of many of our constitutional rights,
and like a detective I like to investigate...
especially when the news comes on
and comes across as fake!

Addendum: This Memorial Day I thank all
the brave men and women who fought in
all of our wars, although to this day I still
wonder what some of them were really
all for? God bless the U.S.A.!

Proven

today it has been proven that our justice system does'nt represent justice. it just
fixes things the way they want things to be fixed. today a murderer was judged not
guilty and will soon walk free from the crime that they commited. they may have
escaped man but they still have to face God. they should have paid man. maybe it
was an accident with choloraform. but everything else she did added it up to
murder. today a jury assasinated justice just like james earl ray killed martin luther
king and just like lee harvey oswald killed john f. kennedy just like john wilkes booth
killed abraham lincoln and all i can say is et tu brute to our judicial system. i must
admit the defence did their jobs well but now they know they did it too well because
the eyes of true Justice will be apon them for their crimes. and so this is how the media planned on how to keep milking this cash cow indefinatly.

History Lesson

HISTORY LESSON

I.

Sweet Joe McCarthy who will fill your shoes
Keeping down the reds and making them sing the blues
Your spirit lives on in these modern days
Teaching us to hate in many different ways.

II.

Poor Lee Harvey Oswald I see you sitting there
Living your life with out a simple care
Sitting quietly behind the grassy knoll
Waiting for the right moment to lie to us all.

III.

Wise ole’ Ronald Reagan you taught me one thing
That life simply has no meaning
By simply doing a good deed
When you can be driven by greed.

IV.

Honest George W. Bush you are not the only one to blame
For making the youth pawns in your sick game
Spilling blood on foreign soil
Only to bring back opiates and oil.

1963

I wear a veil of iron mesh,
it sheilds me from sensation,
it's like the one that Jackie wore
after Jack's assassination.

I was just a youngster then,
but, deep inside, I knew,
that with that act of violence
came the end of Xanadu.

My childhood innocense was gone
along with Camelot,
Pandora's box had opened wide
because of Oswald's shot.

Our world came tumbling down that day
an avalanche of evil,
it mowed us down, unstoppable
and crushed the souls of people.

The event was filmed and broadcast
and showed repeatedly,
until the images were burned
forever, indelibly.

The coal-black steed was riderless,
a boot in stirrup reversed,
the symbolism so powerful that,
to this day, it hurts.

And John-John with his little flag,
oh, how we ached with grief,
the look on Lyndon Johnson's face,
stunned with disbelief.

Our world received a lethal wound
still gaping to this day
and evil wrapped its tentacles
and many were lead astray.

Oswald shot on live TV!
The man who killed those nurses!
The Boston Strangler whistling,
the Devil loosed his curses.

Shots rang out from campus tower,
they slayed the Reverand King,
and then they killed poor Bobby,
he would never see the Spring.

But Spring would never be the same
once evil was unleashed,
gone were the days when we were safe,
our innocense was breeched.

Then wars broke out and haven't ceased
and millions have been killed,
and poisoned minds bring guns to school
and hearts are hatred-filled.

Innocents abducted,
babies raped and slain,
mothers drowning children,
the world has gone insane.

Don't turn to church to save your kids
so priests can then molest,
the Devil's even infested them,
he's made the church his nest.

Trust no one; lock your doors at night,
don't let your kids run free,
for evil has ensconced itself
and erased humanity.

To Lee Harvey Oswald, My Lover

Fire
Flames – destroying everything –
Flames – I felt their heat –
The whirling world – it cannot stand—
In fevered circuit melts.

Those flames traverse
Throughout my bones,
Rage, hot, across my nerves,
Consuming all the stars I see
In heaven’s stretched-out canopy.

Fire – burning in my soul –
Fire – I felt its heat—
The dervish lust was scarce concealed
When he kissed my feet.

My firm and frail virginity--
My bosom -- plucked by him,
No apples bit in Paradise
More ample with our sin.

Flames – destroying everything –
When true love caught me up
From that false vintage that I quaffed
From a false Loving Cup.

O, you burnt brighter than the lust
That, fiery, op’d my doors;
And in your passion, warm with love,
A galaxy was born.

                                             Jan. 11, 2009 Istanbul
Background for this poem: Lee Harvey Oswald was falsely accused of killing President
Kennedy. I was in contact with Lee only 37 1/2 hours before the assassination. Don't believe
what propaganda-writing paid flunkies have written about me or about LHO. The cover-up is
real, and thinking people now have the evidence on YouTube and elsewhere. See my website
at http://www.judythvarybaker.com for more information. I'm writing this note of
explanation because other poems here also refer to Lee Oswald, such as "The Magazine
Bus," and "Lord of the Galaxies." My book, Me & Lee: How I Came to Know, Love and Lose
Lee Harvey Oswald, will be published this spring by Trine Day Publications. This is the latest
of dozens of poems written about LHO, some of which are published here at Poetr Soup.

If You Could Change World History

If you could change World History

If you could alter World History,
What would you change and why.
Choose with care and astuteness,
Or someone that lived, might die.

Edward John Smith has fallen sick,
So, he cannot Captain the ship.
That Iceberg may well be avoided,
Allow Titanic to complete her trip.

Harvey Oswald has JFK in sight,
But, the President throws back his head.
An Italian Rifle fires clean and true,
Grazed his chin, Kennedy wasn’t dead

The plane made an emergency landing,
In a Cornfield after leaving Clear Lake.
Buddy is bruised but unharmed,
Rock & Roll spared music heartache.

If Adolf Hitler had never been born,
Would the world be a much better place?
Or would another, equally as mad,
Come along and take his place.

It is the year 1066,
Harold Godwinson commands the hill,
Should he survive and win the Battle,
Would England be Anglo Saxon Still?

Imagine Scriptures had not been written,
In one God, would we still believe.
Perhaps we would all be Pagans,
Is that thought too difficult to perceive.

If you had altered world history,
How did you change and what with?
Did you consider cause and effect?
Because some that died will live.

Truthbomb

Natural resources plundered worldwide
Everyone's a suspect
Watching us and all we do

Working our fingers to the bone until the day we die
One world government the ultimate plan
Rights to free speech being violated
Lets spare a thought for the third world nations
Disease and death on the daily

Oswald the patsy
Rockefeller Rothschild Rich Rich Rich
Do celebrities really need 20 million dollars per movie
Educate yourself, read a book, open your mind

Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse Contest

Winnie the pooh is an icon
A mascot for a Canadian brigade
Named after the a lieutenants home
With the name of Winnipeg I heard

Mickey Mouse is an endearing fellow
To replace Oswald the lucky rabbit
Minnie his friend shyly says “Hello”
Poor Oswald is no more he’s had it

Wonder what would happen if
Mickey and Winnie were friends
Would Minnie get very jealous
Or would Tigger make amends

Whatever happens to this pair
A legend they have both become
Eeyore, Tigger and Winnie share
Minnie, Donald and Mickey’s home

In the Magic kingdom life is fun
Children gaze often in wonderment
At the rides and games to be won
Goodies to buy until money spent

So off home they go with their bags full
Of sweaters, bags, trainers and more
Most importantly a memory has been instilled
So dreams will be dreamt for evermore

Premium Member Conspiracy Theories

Conspiracy theories are nothing new
I'm sure you know a few
But they can take you down a dark maze
And used by politicians to manipulate you

The moon landing was said to be fake
With wind and shadows on the make
Was it just wishing on a star
And faked to win the cold war

 JFK conspiracy theories still persist
Was it Oswald that did it, or the mob
Or was it the goverment who killed him
 In a sinister plot

Covid 19 has many conspiracy theories
First they said it was a hoax contrived by the media
But it was a deadly virus
 That killed millions

There is one about the Denver Airport
Said to be the Illuminati's headquarters
 Where lizard people live
 Beneath the buildings

The most famous one is that the Earth is flat
Even though proven that its not
 Yet people still believe that
 Are people crazy or what?

There is the theory that the election was stolen
And Italian satellites changed people's votes
And on and one it goes
 Right down the rabbit hole

There is the one that Poetry Soup is run by aliens
 Trying to steal our thoughts
 Don't go running for cover
 That one's just a joke.. :>)

Can a Historian Explain This

Lincoln elected to Congress in 1846
Kennedy elected to Congress in 1946
Lincoln elected President in 1860
Kennedy elected President in 1960
Lincoln's secretary named Kennedy
Kennedy's Secretary named Lincoln

Both concerned with Civil Rights
Both lost children in White House
Both shot on a Friday in the Head

Lincoln shot at the theater named Ford
Kennedy shot in a car called ' Lincoln ' made by Ford
Lincoln shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse
Kennedy shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater

Both assassinated by Southerners
Both assassins were known by their three names
Both names are composed of fifteen letters
John Wilkes Booth born in 1839
Lee Harvey Oswald born in 1939
Booth and Oswald assassinated before their trials

Both succeeded by Southerners named Johnson
Andrew Johnson born in 1808
Lyndon Johnson born in 1908
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe , Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe

Premium Member The Annals of History

Review the annals of history
   Murder upon murder you'll see

Start with Adam and Eve's son, Cain
Who murdered his brother Abel in vain

Then there's Moses, the saintly lawgiver
Who murdered an Egyptian taskmaster and shivered

The greatest of playwrights, Shakespeare, didn't hedge his bets
He wrote of murder in 'Julius Caesar,' 'Macbeth' and 'Romeo & Juliet'

What of Abe Lincoln's assassin, Mr. John Wilkes Booth?
His name lives all these years later, verily and forsooth

There's Lee Harvey Oswald, shot JFK -- ended Camelot
Else his name wouldn't be worth a pee in a pot

Can't forget the serial killers, whose souls are damned:
Richard Speck, John Wayne Gacy, Son of Sam

Not to mention the 'iconic' socialists you all know:
Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, and Idi Amin also

In this century you don't have to rack your brain
We've had Osama bin Laden, Bashar Assad, Sadam Hussein...

As for 'professionals,' Bonnie & Clyde are your bank robbers
And how about ('Scarface') Al Capone for a celebrity mobster?

So, you want your name to be ever remembered?
Just commit a few murders: Behead and dismember!
