L o v e, a withering star ~
awakened amidst silence
that swirls through the night sky
like fairy lights,
i l l u m i n a t i n g
the maze of midnight
with kaleidoscopic traces
of what once soared…
But in the chasm of loss and agony,
I found the gossamer essence of hope
from the
glass-winged arms of metamorphosis…

Now I breathe you, organza moonlight,
e c l i p s e d by crimson claws
of condescending constellations,
while faith sleeps within the pale husk
of mythical mists,
drinking pomegranate ambrosia,
from the rose-gold horn
of Persephone’s throne,
as black-magic thickets thrive from
the cursed lips of tendrils ~
harvesting pain,
rustling through the vineyard
of violet orchids
amidst this heart that sings of
evergreen springs,
etched with sins and tears
onto catacomb cellars of wickedness…

Listen to your heartbeat,
there, in the mirroring cadence
of soft-spoken rhymes,
I live and reside ~
wandering through the hallways;
an asylum of metaphors
turning wraiths of words
into wisterias,
whirling in the whimsical wind,
a castle of alliterative archives
emanating empathic embers
that burned capricious chords
to carve calligraphic clemency
with Cleopatra’s gold
seized from the Egyptian deserts…

But it is through the
satanic soul of kohl seas
I found the bluest streak of bliss ~
my Felix Culpa,
sprinkling firefly dust from afar ~
I see you, awaiting the return
of butterflies…
For you and I,
we found L o v e,
inhaling poetic promises,
exhaling toxic tercets ~
with syllables of stressed desire,
you showed me rainbows of sage,
taught me the rhythm of truth,
to silence the thunder
that roars in rage
within the fragile psyche of life,
and in your presence,
I loved and learned ~
to curate colors
from
the ethereal
dreamscape of d u s k…

Premium Member You Are the One

l.
Opening the closet of narra doors, I sweep through
organza skirts and gemmed ringlets; my hair
ruffling aimlessly upon scalloped kerchiefs
smelling decade - old hyacinth, Mom’s favorite
ambrosia: she would lift her anklets
in tiptoed hums, ”night and day, you are the one..”
Evenings touched her candle hands; hands
that soothed wounded knees from  jackstone fights;
her fingers caressing a pony -tailed girl’s wrath
with piano keys rippling into a gentle moan;
“night and day you are the one…”
And i am delivered from my tempestuous rants.

ll.
From nowhere, the porcelain mirror gazed at me;
her rhythm of silence billows, cradling my nights
with each veil of her almond eyes
that enter into my irises: a serene sight
too close, much too tight I clung to her unspoken word.
Through years, I grew like a bamboo shoot: her quiet smiles
and music walked me through reality’s maze.
And how I would wail bearing the grim of hard study,
coughing late, late hours of reading toil…yet,
she stayed like a moth with charm flushed
in a wind of calm gaze, ebbing .

lll.
And only Mom could melt my temper
when my raging soul paused to wonder
at her light’s glow: oh, her feminine beat illumined
more lamplights dancing inside this rebellious head…
and now, she hovers around me.
I become her eyes, chanting, “night and day,
you are the one” ; never balking at my surreal conquests.

She is gone bequeathing warmth into my torched flights
without question; with much love dripping
from her graceful movement, straying all through
these my breaths: “night and day, you are the one…”

               ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dwindling diamond daub, an amber
glittering glow
diaphanous verism of glass
and yet…
wreathed in wisteria-washed linden
a glimpse of
moon-pearled butterflies
fluttering beyond
seventh sky
fine shone ivory organza
faintly floats
in flowy grey garment
              because...
 the mirror failed
                      to release her
Watch the whispering wind
of crestfallen Luna
serenade sonatas to
the saffron sun,
elegance bewilders as a spell
whilst imbued in
Tuscan fuchsia flowers
plated in opalescent enamel
healing in her
sanguine sanctuary
& silvery smooth skin
she is the spirit of Aphrodite
soaked in ivory color
her tears metamorphosing
of...
               ogdoads
                           daffodils.
Venus waltzing with Earth
zeal of unbreakable bond,
floral fragrance felicity
an ageless love tale
sweet lullaby tweets
billets-doux
texts spanning the world
bien sûr we love
extravagance in empathy
exulansis excluded eternally
hunting for heavenly harmony
swirl in seraphic space
as Dahlia sighs reach
esoteric eyes of lotus Luna
breathing silence
virtuoso ululation
for...
        a friendship circle.
Summertime Memories
Memories of a summer time so sweet
Palm trees swaying in a rhythmical beat
Watching waves as they come upon the shore
As a young child I loved to make sandcastles tall.
For windows I’d use the prettiest shells
A piece of driftwood I used for my door
To finish it off a wide moat I would dig deep
The water from my bucket around it I’d poor.
Another summer memory of which I recall
The colourful flowers blooming so tall
Bright red, yellow and pink budding roses
A welcoming sight that summer was here.
I chose pink rose buds and delicate white orchids
A combination of which was a magical sight
Blending so well with my gown of crystal organza
When we married, that warm romantic night.
Safety In Pins
Safety in pins
Her mother bestows her with a pillow
Blooming roses in azure and red
embellished with silken threads
Edged with a
A crystalline river
Making Anuket shiver
"Just stick a pin in it
whenever you worry!"
she says casually.
A worry pillow!
In a cheerful facade
How contradictory
Rose Thinks
Still better than
Biting her tongue.
She sticks the first pin IN IT.
The first flaw on the pillow's
Beautiful Facade.
She pricks the pillow
with a black safety pin
When she dreams of
Fire eating dragons
She sticks another
when her milk tooth becomes wobbly
And another dent on the lovely facade
of the pillow
She sticks another
in a bold colour
when kissing a boy
She sticks an orange
one in securing
her first job.
Attached to a signed contract
She sticks an organza one
at her wedding day attached to
a butterfly confetti.
At her baby girl's birth
She sticks a pink one
attached to a ribbon
The  faded worry pillow
becomes her life story
Every safety pin a dot
for the map of her life.
Oceananigans I and Ii
I.
Ode the thrill of a tango
curled in clutches sleek
Elegance, a prerequisite
Add on a spun euphoria
Nimble is a turgid swoon!
Arms conduct to the aria
New skin, feels no tocsin
It's deeply in a you and i
Glazed, to the tightening
and a strangling organza
Necked into a suffocation
So go the tunnel deaths…
(1/27/2021: '02 Silverton MY; Alameda ...contest theme was murder in the tunnel)
II.
Ornately, I gild over my days a’ la fresco
Carefully, I wield molten gold, enigmatic
Elaborate must these life undulations be
as metallic sheen screens all insipid aura
New cantankerous crack? Just weld upon
and smooth the jagged with flowing flora
Now the feckless plaster sparkles golden
I spurn mawkish, like the silvered literati
glossing my craven, to caverns gleaming
Aurum weaves, in its narcissistic miasma
Nothing malodorous in self-love / loathin’
So imperious my bombastic art, it glazes!
Fabric-- Organza
Luster of ivory
Gleaming through mist- glow;
Caressed by winter’s finery.
Diaphanous nymphet,
Floating in crystal air
Organza ---sheen as bridal grace!
Through My Eyes
Through my eyes…
You are the sunset over a beautiful summer’s ocean.
Your colorful show leaves me breathless
As I lie down to watch you move,
Watch you stretch your arms across the horizon
Draping the wondering clouds
In a masterful orange and purple organza.
And I see them strut across their makeshift ramp
Showing off their new clothes
To the rapture of the waves below.
What a show your presence creates
Through my eyes…
A Soft Bitter Slur
Now, in her solitude she sits draped in mock fur,
As the movie spool ends, silver lights begin to fade,
So, she slurps on her sorrows with a soft bitter slur
‘The sheer backless organza’ – a red-carpet stir,
The true benefits of fame, featuring a chauffeur and maid,
Now, in her solitude she sits draped in mock fur
In ‘Wuthering Heights’, the Protagonist connoisseur,
Violated when the ‘Sirs’ want favours repaid,
So, she slurps on her sorrows with a soft bitter slur
Her fluffy companion gives a discontented purr,
Along with diamond wedding rings, her only accolade,
Now, in her solitude she sits draped in mock fur
Missed out on an award – an offering greater than myrrh,
Behind a painted smile, a cut-throat tool of the trade,
So, she slurps on her sorrows with a soft bitter slur
Then the dreaded moment, as quick as a blur,
At thirty-five, replaced by youth, promises betrayed,
Now, in her solitude she sits draped in mock fur,
So, she slurps on her sorrows with a soft bitter slur.
Premium Member Iris
Dainty as a maiden embellished in deep violet,
She flutters through grassland, emitting a tangy perfume
And her bodice, luscious, drifts on an organza garment
That reflects queenly admiration from a sunlight blessed:
How butterflies wheel around this goddess’s appointed space
Cruising, parading to endow their dear noblest regard,
Till she blushes in a dance to a crowd gasping aloud
To applaud her womanly entrance, her spring's majesty!
Adorned In Pink Organza
Searching the twilight horizon
For signs she's on her way
As I anticipate her rising
Have felt like this all day
The cloud begins to gather
Betwixt the sea and sky
I welcome her arrival
She makes my spirit fly
Just as I start to doubt
That tonight she will come out
A delicate glow
A glow I know
Rises from the sea
Just like the Goddess Amphitrite
Adorned in pink organza
As if she wants to dance all night
Resplendent in her glittering gown
Her dazzling light is beaming down
This ballerina of the sky
I do not blink ~ I am wide eyed
I'm moonstruck and I'm mesmerised
To see such wonder with my eyes
Her beauty seeps inside my soul
I hear sweet music all around
My head is spinning to the sound
For now I'm in another place
Moonbeams lighting up my face
Gazing at this Super Moon
I swoon ~ I may not be back soon…
Written 8th May 2020 ~ after witnessing the hypnotic beauty of the Super Moon
The Wedding of the I
The time’s Organza,
Subtly covered the torso,
       of my being
The bride I am my Beloved
The bride of Love
And when I’m in Love with You
I’m in Love with Humanity
They all came to celebrate!!!
Your shine pulses in my heart
It’s about to blast a word
Only a word for my,
Overwhelming surrenderance
Till I extinguish in the spark
			Of eternity
Dispersed throughout the heaven
Layered in all:
Imaginable semi- imaginable, and
Unimaginable dimensions
For the poor mortals as I
After awakening from this
Divine ecstasy
To remain intoxicated, and
See the diamond tears
Of all those,
In Love
