Open Arms

My heart accepts your apology,
And welcomes you home again.
The love I share is warmer than the sun,
And I too, forgive you of your sins.

These open arms receive you,
I’m ready for the making up to embark.
Clutching you to my chest, I wont’ ever let go,
For these arms are the extensions of my heart.

Wrapping you up the whole night through,
As I whisper in your ear how much I love you.

there waiting for me
on the other side
i like to think
of all those
before me
who have passed
and one day
will line up
by the light
with open arms
to welcome me

Open Arms

Where was I in all this?
Is it that I am with your existence?
Like a refined form you
Live to be strong.
Is that I did not call?
Aspiration was not known.
Munificence is your life lived normally.

Lithe as a feather
Oracle
Ruminate
Effervescent
Noetic
Zealous
Omnipotent boy

Joyous was your creator.
Overwhelmed,
Higher grounds you are to conquer.
Noesis,
Spectacular are the stars
Over yonder in the East in the clouds.
Never ending is your belief in the Almighty God.

Cutie Pie, don’t you die.
Live your life now.
I want to see your life span.
Spread your wings to become a man.

Amazing is where you are.
Mountains you have climb.
Eager to grow
Realizing that you have won.
Rich is your soul.
Intelligence that is given by the Lord.
Crazy you may just perceive the world.
Keep your eyes on the sparrow.

Solidified by faith
Informs acumen.
Family is altogether
Obstinate to reason.
Remove that what is different to unite.

Willing to withstand to not be denied.
Homefront and your people is how you segment.
Is it not you that want splendor?
To be the leader of your ambition,
Eager to growth.

Just is the fulfilled soul.
Rejoice when you know that all things are possible.

Cutie Pie, don’t you die.
Live your life now.
I want to see your life span.
Spread your wings to become a man.

Open Arms

Tears running down a saddened face
Being wiped away by a loving hand.
A hug, a kiss, a warm embrace;
These can change a frown to a smile.
What power we possess without realizing it.
The future of lives we can mold
By showing love and understanding
When our arms are open to hold.

Standing With My Open Arms

" Standing With My Open Arms "

My many mistakes of yesterday
are shadows of the past
the many pains that I have felt
thinking they will always last.

A couple of broken relationships
somehow they went wrong
deep hurting left now from both sides
sounds just like a sad love song.

I am patiently waiting for the day
to leave my past behind
forget about all of the history
and clear my hurting mind.

Standing With My Open Arms
to start a brand new life
saying good-bye to memories
to cancel all of my strife.

Sometimes those old memories
come back with a great force
with my repentence and forgiveness
I can stop it at its source.

I can now fully welcome
each brand new day with glee
by letting him inside my heart
it has set my hurting free.

My many mistakes of yesterday
are shadows that no longer last
the many pains that I have felt
they have all become my past...

These are the Open Arms

By Cherbo Geeplay

You woke me up when I was dead,
teaching the night stars wantonly
to obey the Atlantic; then slashed
my arteries in flight to Lake Piso,
humbling its boundaries, before
fusing them calmly to a gel.
When the elders speak in parables,
it is a mix of pepper soup which the
fufu welcomes and surrounds. As
the deer is trapped in the undergrowth,
so does it wait to be strapped. —These
are the open arms to the farms, mucking
the deserted mansions decked in chocolate
nuts, covered in honey; the lost spectacles
of yesterday is now over. Once gowned with
cluttered cow-webs and peppered with
shrubs, this, before the revival of the
grimy walls, serenade and greened
with lilies whose aroma calls from
a hundred miles to the carpenter
—the tool man and his bride waiting
to be announced as the sun swell
the hilltops, smiling to the boats
sailing on smooth tides.

                ll
Moving quietly to fair waves,
the clouds crushed, hovers,
washing the mud away,
freeing her from the rocks,
bathing the earth and taking
away the dust disguised as
chaffs. the yacht’s inviting voice
is heard throttling along—between
hearty murmurs, chuckling to the
     weaving currents, curving the
Atlantic surf, dancing fervidly,
where the fires meet the pits of
burning woods. The hearth in a
melody on the placid shores of Sinkor,
intimately as Monrovia grins to the Atlantic.

                         lll
Bewitched, racing to the beaches
is a sweetening of the surf stones.
The shells humbled under the rocks.
In trance, the turtles are running
with the whales, the currents,
silvery, the smell of saltwater
overpowering, yet elegant. Your
slender sailing finger rubbing
my rough ankles bring comfort.
—You woke me up when
I was dead, teaching
the night stars wantonly
to obey the Atlantic Bay,
like seashells humbled under the rocks.

Open Arms

He came from a far,
Bearing gifts in a jar,
Presumably with good news,
Little child could only muse,

For all the preparations wrought,
Little child knows not,
Only the guardian relishes,
Meeting with strangers,

Little child gets carried away,
With rage he tries to sway,
Guardian ooh guardian,
But an agreement was already done,

Little child stares at sky blues,
Letting go of reminiscent hues,
And in uncontrollable tears,
Lost deep in despair depths,

Rage outrages itself therein,
Love slowly creeps in,
Little child soundly sleeps,
Comfort envisages in the open arms,

As the night grew short,
Nearer to the destination they got,
His life had just begun,
Witnessed by the rising of the sun.

Open Arms

I touch my lips
A familiar place
where you have been

How strong your
soft kisses were
Breathing life into
the area of my mind
that love had killed

Taking me back to a time
when I welcomed love
Before love murdered
a piece of me
that was alive and free

I feel silly
To have allowed
someone to change who I was

But
I'm so happy now
to have realized
the error of my ways

And at last
I welcome love
with open arms.

I await,
sweet soul sister
'pon summer's day in a sunny city in America
native-born is she, sweet sister of mine
soulful big eyes so kind
an angelic face and cheeks of fuchsia
Rose the name should’ve given
turn red when we played chase
laughing aloud as we ran about our place, our home
radiance she owned, a climbing hybrid
innocence and a joyful smile
she was a stunning flower, unassuming
blooming in all her glory
the beautiful child that I once knew
this I kept inside all the while
to some who grow up in a hurry
a life took that turn tout de suite
free-spirit metamorphosing
when the thorns grew prickly, protecting itself
the crimson rose if plucked shall bleed
on a journey cataclysmic, tabula rasa
a seed, ill-natured unforeseen
nature vs nurture which one should I believe?
chilling vibrations keep on and on, running down my spine
I try forgetting you, as I pray for a way
your unholy decline became the wind of change
whilst an open path gifted unexpectedly
we spoke of the recent death of our father
as we caught up, an abrupt feeling left me
deflecting my life; a total mockery
transcending joy and pain
time heals they say that grief will lessen
It’s such a shame I’ve chosen to hold aloof
yet time won’t let me rest
although my heart bellows it’s best
my strength for this bereavement
diminishing, what’s left of you a catacomb,
a shrine buried in my subconscious
I try to put at ease these cries for help
or are the cries Jesus telling me
there is no real solution
you are one of a kind, an exception
you must want Jesus too
until then, with open arms
I will always be here for you
may you be safe, free from harm
remember me, sweet soul sister of mine

I came to you with open arms
fell in love with all your charms
before they turned a witch's brew
with open arms, I came to

passion can hide the truth of things
an evil heart and what it brings
when hearts of light and dark collide
the truth of things passion can hide

though short and brief our love was fire
we escaped the world with our desire
between our hands, we held our grief
our love was fire, though short and brief

love can be a boiling kettle
where ebbs and flows can unsettle
making lovers too blind to see
a boiling kettle, love can be

you offered me a damaged love
wormwood filled at the mercy of
it fell apart for me to see
a damaged love, you offered me

Open Arms

Judge not
What one seeks
Seek to express
Rebirth
Knowledge
Growth
Truth
Bliss
Joy
Love

Judge not
One's challenges
Weaknesses
Pain and suffering

Judgement lacks acceptance

Instead with open arms wide
Hug acceptance
Embrace one's growth
Embrace one's expansion

With open arms wide
The burning flame of love surrounds
Embrace the purity of love
As you receive
It shall deliver

Marvelous new world movie "Frozen" is in,
And gladly will see it over and over again
While I had waited there for plot to unfold
By a narrator, the story was being told.

Its a musical, cartoon and movie combined
One of best productions you will ever find;
In my mind, it is now a constant memory;
Everything radiated while it was glittery.

As Anderson's great story continues on
Way back into past you will have gone
So many scenes in Far North you can see
Was quite a cold place for you in to be.

Queen was one empowered with wickedness
No part of the movie will you want to miss
And each song sang had such an impact
Held attention forever and never did detract.

Compared to this, there will not be an equal
And it surely does deserve one more sequel;
Full of fine characters with all of their charms;
For it. everyone will wait with wide open arms.

Open Arms

The air is so wonderful touching my face like summer has come.
I will Fly above stars that float in the sky.
I am the truth yes I am I confess it to you today.
Open your arms, give me that hug I want it know.
Eyes are green deep inside the cold face, oh sweetheart have a glance.
A list on a piece of scattered paper tick it please who’s next.
Tick tock of a clock, my little angel’s on the carpet.
Gather together what a celebration we have come to see.
A black sewed up hat worn by my dear mother.
Metal object hitting the hard nails in place together.
