" Standing With My Open Arms "
My many mistakes of yesterday
are shadows of the past
the many pains that I have felt
thinking they will always last.
A couple of broken relationships
somehow they went wrong
deep hurting left now from both sides
sounds just like a sad love song.
I am patiently waiting for the day
to leave my past behind
forget about all of the history
and clear my hurting mind.
Standing With My Open Arms
to start a brand new life
saying good-bye to memories
to cancel all of my strife.
Sometimes those old memories
come back with a great force
with my repentence and forgiveness
I can stop it at its source.
I can now fully welcome
each brand new day with glee
by letting him inside my heart
it has set my hurting free.
My many mistakes of yesterday
are shadows that no longer last
the many pains that I have felt
they have all become my past...
