O N L Y E V E R W I T H Y O U

Only ever with you, I love to have and hold
into the circle of your arms, I'll unfold;
into your blue eyes' greeting shine, my gold;
only ever with you, I yearn to grow old...

Only ever with you I can write rhymes as such
for you bring my muse from dust to dash, to hush
Only ever with you my being wants to attach
as first step already taken to our primrose path

Only ever with you, tips dance linger to cherry lips
Slow summer hands will roam vast to wonderland
Whence pearl white peel smooches chocolate skin
only ever with you, heartbeats climbs a boiling point

Stars and moon may leave the dark skies
yet, one look at the gleam of your blue eyes
day and night, I see the rising sunrise.
Only ever with you, I will dive to lows or heights

for only ever with you, I'll plunge to infinity.
Prayers plea asking blessings from Divinity
to tie two hearts and two souls in sole unity.
Mindless to whatever is there in humanity

Only ever with you...

Premium Member If Only My Wish Would Come True

Images of children dwelling in developing world
In plight of poverty~~ some two billion strong,
Fly a flag of existence, waving distress unfurled,
Crooning mournful song: is this where we belong?

Struggling in parched lands of bared dreary sights
World they live in is the world they have known,
Where days of emptiness cede to dreary nights
Churning nightmares as dreams vacant bemoan.

Wishing upon an angel~ I would endeavor to plead
For turning places despaired into domains of hope,
For means to educate, learn skills, write and read,
For rewriting will of destiny, while striving to cope.

If I could bend sorrow and the fate of tomorrow
Seeds of knowledge I’ll sow in the dreaded woe
Marveling the fields of wisdom sprout and grow
As minds edified glow, defying misery’s shadow.

My wish for peace echoes benevolence spurred
As hymns of unity in the temple of goodwill toll
And calls of equity from endearing hearts heard
Reverberate harmony in euphony of sublime soul.

I wish upon a candle, for world to join a sing-along
Lauding pledges of love to spur the youth on and on
Cheering to acclaim: this is where the kids belong~
In benevolence of hearts, over seven billion strong.

What Only Angles Hear

Daddy never did understand.
That violence doesnt bring comfort.
A lost soul seeking acceptance from a unwelcome hand.

She was silent no one ever knew.
The secrets behind her bruised eyes.
A shocking victem none but all had a clue.

She cried to empty walls never speaking aloud from fear.
A confession of pain and shattred trust.
this is only what angles hear.

Scars selfinflicted are better than that
dirty feeling.
As she lays a broken shell gazing at the celling.

She questions if others know what will they say.
Doing whatever it takes to stay numb.
Innocence lost a parent should never betray.

The guilt was placed apon the wrong head.
Void of all emotion.
No child should yern to be dead.

At times it gets to uncomfortable so in
another direction we steer.
For at times it's just to painful to stomach.
What only angles hear.

My Only Hope

I fell asleep one dreary day
I lost my will, I lost my way
I ran from all I ever knew
And feared the call I was supposed to pursue.
I drank from wells set on fire
And filled my voids with unholy desires.
I dressed the part to play the role
And slowly began to lose my soul.
But, when your down and
Shadows grow
And you finally have nowhere else to go
The only way to rise again
Is from the power of an eternal friend.
Many leave when you’re at your worst
When your hearts so heavy, it’s about to burst
Many claim so many titles
Their efforts are futile and their time is idle
Their promises bleed through the incisions
For they can’t possibly understand the mission.
Battles have been the hardest at times
And memories have played with my mind
But, I keep marching like any good solider would
Even though most of the time I am misunderstood.
I keep on fighting the forces and the fears,
Knowing one day he will wipe away every tear.
I keep on giving it my best even when it’s not enough
For only one holds my heart when the waves get too rough.
I keep on believing that one magnificent day
I will see true glory wash away my yesterdays
I keep on believing that one marvelous day,
I will see the gates of my destiny enrapture my today.

For the lark she sings in her morning song,
That brightens up my day.
The pitter patter of tiny drops,
Clouds fill the sky with grey.

The dampened ground, that familiar smell,
Now quenched refreshed anew.
Brings forth forgotten memories,
Of a time that I once new.

Like grains of sand they ebb and flow,
Those minutes of the day.
In lines of endless moments,
That brought forth that child at play.

For is this just like déjà vu
For some time I’ve been alone.
Now standing here now humble,
To all these things I’ve known.

With gentle face a youthful pose,
As we danced the night away,
A tender touch a knowing gaze,
No need for words to say.

For what is love but a feeling?
As hearts melt into one.
With the blessings of good fortune,
Now Care free and full of fun.

For they say that hopes eternal,
And all things come to he who waits.
Or is that for other people,
For nothing seems that straight.

Given in reflected thought,
To those oh so special years.
Brought back in just a heart beat,
I wipe away the tears.

Withered meadows of yesteryears ache, recalling memories forlorn,
As discords of then mourn, assailing vibes of now, emotions torn;
Yet I believe, love would have still vouched~ together we belong,
If only you knew, how to strum, sensuous rhythms of our love-song.

Gracing my embrace, lovingly you caress, my jilted sleepless night,
And on every dawning horizon, you still are, the halo of my delight;
As I believe, episode of love, would always write a lovesome theme,
If only you knew, you have long been, epitome of my romantic dream.

You bedazzle my memory, beaming grin of an enamored glance,
Being my Cinderella, avowing to rekindle fairy-tale of romance;
As I believe, you would still be the music, pulses-cadent impart,
If only you knew, you are the seductress, plucking strings of my heart.

In realms of desires, chasing bliss of your love, my passions call-out,
When you are in amorous cuddle, hypnotized by grip of fervent clout;
As earnestly I believe, you would love me still, even from miles afar,
If only you knew, you have been my aura, my fulgent northern-star.

Birds that always sung for you, serenade you, lauding your name,
Spurred by fond recollections, applauding memoirs of love’s acclaim;
And I believe, words unsaid would not be uttering, a sigh of regret,
If only you knew, love we shared, pledges eternal shall never forget.

. . gravity were graceful, giving and gracious
like space, lace and liquid love,

each puzzling piece would fit for us,
and time would trace the importance thereof -

unlike the unlimited heaviness that pulls at me,
i’m holding onto the hope of, if only . . .

Golden sun enlightens contours of violet arc
Painting mauve motifs on canvas of cosmic art
When constellation of dewdrops sparkle on grass
And thoughts of your allure enchant my heart,

As in pristine meadows of sensuous past I walk
Holding hands of dawn to reminisce love that was
When you come along, cheering one more dance--
Oh, how I regret, not kissing that ebullient morn,

Strolling in memoirs of your favorite garden
Where gardenias court scent of rose blossoms,
Crafting ode of love that's silent on fervor--
Alas, you've never heard rhythm of my poem,

Shrouded in metaphors that proffer not a clue
But it's always been true: there's no one but you
For you see it enunciated in language of runes
Where dreams you dream are passing through.

Wish you knew I worship the ground you walk on
And love everything about you just the way you are
And ache for your moon, wish for your stars,
For no one but you makes me feel--I have it all.

only a thought away

"only a thought away"

only a thought away
to see you
to hear you
to feel you
still I search

with all memories
never faded
never gone
my eyes see
my mind feels

as I look around
comfort blankets me
shadowed by essence
of you
of me
of us

with this new way
I'll hold the belief
knowing what I have
knowing what we had

you remain close and
only a thought away

Premium Member It Only Hurts When I Smile

I put a smile on my face when I go outside

My friends all see the pain I try to hide in my eyes

And I try to act like I can make it on my own

Since you've been gone I'm alone

I suppose I'm gonna be here a while

And for the rest . . . of my life

It only hurts when I smile.
.
I thought our love was strong

I didn't think you would leave

I think about about you all the time

Do you still think about me?

and when I think of how I threw us away

It only hurts when I think
.
The first time I laid eyes on you you took my breath away

I lost my breath again the day you walked away

Pain won't go and damage is done

And I just can't feel a thing

It only hurts when I breathe
.
And I see where I went wrong

And I see what I've done

But I don't see you coming home to me

And when I look at it all that way

It only hurts when I see
.
And I just can't live without you

My heart is still in your hands

And there's no "this" left to fix

And there's no "us" left to mend

And I guess I gotta live with it

So it only hurts when I live
.
I put a smile on my face when I go outside

My friends all see the pain I try to hide in my eyes

And I try to act like I can make it on my own

Since you've been gone I'm alone

I suppose I'm gonna be here a while

And for the rest . . . of my life

It only hurts when I smile.

And for the rest . . . of my life

It only hurts when I smile.

I Think Only of You

 My cherished one

What difference does it make

if We are , or if we're not belongers ?

If I'll never see the moon in your eyes

Taste the stars from your lips

Feel your touch 'pon my hair

and your breath on my skin .

What difference does it make ?

When we know ,our quiet thoughts lay side by side

When wherever I am

Its your warmth that descends softly in me .

My first dawning moments , are always filled with you,

and so are those moments before I close my eyes

in the stillness of my room.

My cherished one, I think ...

And when I think , I think only of you

And when I see , I see only you ,

Wandering by in sun-dappled fields

Wrapping my heart ,veiling my soul

lost in the breeze , stealing my dreams.

PS Listening to an italian song calledl 'Grande Amore by Il Volo , it made me think of this....

For Only Love

Only love transcends the infinite skies,
Through portals of passion that resonate…
Vibrations amongst wings of butterflies,
Reaching distant dormant eyes to dilate.

My love shall find your hibernating heart,
Daunting desolate debris building walls…
To paint your smile upon exquisite art,
Our love to bravura in heavens halls.

Whispers of amour in the morning light,
The universe unfolds with surreal…
Secretions of suns amidst darkest night,
Spewing teasing temptations that conceal.

Only love transcends the infinite skies,
Through portals of passion that resonate.

Only Together

You were my raindrop and I was your cloud…
We spoke in whispers that were heard out aloud…
I was your teardrop and you were my eyes…
You saw in colors my dreams pass by…
You were my hands and I was your grasp…
We felt our way through the dark and over the past…
You were the letters and I was the word…
We rhymed our way across the sky like wings of a bird…
Together we sleep under rain that has passed…
Holding each other in a love that will last…

Premium Member The Only Door That Opens

When the only door that opens
is one leading to the past
I pack my bags and grab the wine
and find my way at last

I sojourn deep into the woods
                              of life’s long memories
and picnic on the leaves of love
                            for heart song melodies

And then with each familiar chord
and with each sip of wine
I start to find myself again
                         remembering what’s mine

A blessed life of ups and downs
                          with courage to be found
in knowing that I’ll find my way
                         when I come back around

What We Had Was Only a Tale

Here’s to a love that never existed!
And to the departing you insisted,
Let me give in to all I’ve resisted
It is true through our frivolous trail
Our lives were but a tale;
Though if I hadn’t thought of it
Pure hearts indefinite,
Not mattering even then,
Would I ever believe again?
We never win, we never fail
For what we had was only a tale

I’m lost within a dream never dreamt
Inside a slumber never slept,
And I caress the intricate design
Of the world I can never find
How vast! Yet still it is dying
Fading into the nadirs’ binding
As I fill the world with crying—always crying!
Oh world! Can I ever bring myself to hold
The warm nothing growing cold?
Oh world! Can I not take away
The love I gave with my will today?
We never win, we never fail
For what we had was only a tale
