the homeless man who is begging for money
most believe he must be a drug addict or convict
what if you lost your home, your job, your spouse and alone?
you could end up beside him, lost and hopeless
the cheaters, liars and dishonest people
most think they do not know or associate with them
as they sit in the church pews every Sunday
pretending to be honest, pure and holy
some are teachers, bankers, police officers
a facade to fool the best judges of character
I never knew, I had the strength to write these verse
I always thought silence was a gift
But to believe that freedom of speech is an art of expression
Is just the beginning of happiness?
To have the courage to express one self
Learning to understanding you
Is the key to inner peace
I have always been a coward
Afraid of my own thoughts and shadow
Dancing in the dark
Afraid of the crowd
Sleeping in the corner
Sneaking away
The first to finish
Last to start.
But it’s my destiny to write these lyrics
To allow my voice to tell you a tale
I have always been afraid to write what I felt as words never came easily.
I walk with a frown and I am always falling down.
Tired of getting burn
Always on the run forever holding the gun never seeing the sun
But today am putting my feet firmly on the ground.
If you never try,
you will never fail.
You will also never experience
the thrill of the challenge
nor the joy in reaching your goal.

I thought I'd write another poem,
but really, don't know why!
Cause, I got no inspiration,
but, still I'm gonna try!
I don't know what to write about,
that makes it hard to do!
I might come up with something,
but, it may take a week or two!
It could be something funny!
It could be something sad!
It could be really, really good,
conversely, really bad!
I'm feeling like I lost my touch.
Nothing seems the same!
Writing ain't that easy now,
and I don't know what's to blame!
Before, it wasn't all that hard!
Words, just seemed to flow.
But now, I just can't seem to think!
What's different, I don't know!
I once was happy, writing poems!
I thought it kinda groovy!
But now, it makes me madder than,
a blind man at a silent movie!
But then, someday it may come back!
I never will say never!
Then I can fulfill my lifelong dream,
to be - the greatest poet ever!
It's almost Christmas
Just a couple of months to go
Although it's warm in New Orleans
Could we possibly see Snow?
For years and years having viewed their faces
Their smiles, their joys, in so many places
Oh how I wondered if I would mirror those joys
To forget my past, and it's lonesome destroy
We are told never say never in this world we live
Sometimes around life's corner, shall end ones sieve
How right these words would be, such wisdom prevails
Never say never, let life's winds grace ones sails
Then came the day as I so wondered why
That a Spanish maiden liked, I clicked to espy
Images of Marillion, the singer Fish being his name
As I viewed musical others, we liked just the same
In a polite message I wrote, simply to ask why
Will she answer me I asked, I'll just have to try
A reply I received, declaring reciprocating sounds
For our music was mirrored, now something abounds
Then came the moment that simply captured my heart
Her first word was hello, could a dead life restart
Our visions appeared followed by questions of ask
Two strangers in meet musical tastes being our tasks
Days weeks into months followed amidst track after track
So much was told and shared, her knowledge never lacked
Now when I look back to our music moments shared and seen
Fish and others we thank you, for it's the music of Queen
Poetry feels pitiful besides the brute weight of reality. Why bother these imaginings when there are dishes to be done? That vague window of liberation gets smaller and tighter each day anyway, why the striving and the pushing and the clearing through brush? Why all this concern?
Perhaps it's because, in the end, we know we need the therapy. Someone on the other end, fine. If not, I'll sing in this echo chamber till my lungs grow eyes. (Which will never happen.)

Never say goodbye, because I plan to see you again. Even through death, my life doesn’t
end it begins.
Never let this life just past you bye, I just pray that through your eye’s I never die!
Never let this life get the best of you, because no matter what God is always standing next
to you!
Never allow this message to be taking away, for within you my love will always stay!
Never be ungrateful for this moment here on earth!
Even if this moment fills like it’s nothing but pain and a curse.
Never forget what was given to you, Jesus Christ died so God will see you through!
Never be ashamed to speak about my name, because even in heaven my love remains the
same.
Never let the enemy take: what you have given to me, for it was a promise of love that you
promised to keep!
Never keep me away from your heart, because even the darkest of demons couldn’t keep us
apart!
Never say never because you said never twice, just praise the Lord for giving me this life!
Never say never without thinking it through, just remember that no matter what happens my
love will never change, it will always stay pure and true!
Never just throw me away and keep me in the dark, because forgetting about me would be
the only thing that would tear me apart! So keep me inside of your prayers for everyday that
starts! That way I know that I will always be close to your heart!
R.I.P to those no longer with us!

It doesn't matter who you are,
You can be a shining star,
Just believe in your dreams
And you can go far,
Broadening your horizon
May not be easy to do,
But you're no conquering a mountain
Just the fears within you,
Never stop dreaming in what you believe in,
Never stop believing in what you feel in your heart,
Don't let your peers heighten your fears,
Always believe in what you are able to do,
No matter where life's road may lead you

Why I took him back.....after all that hurt
Why i've had a change of heart
Thou this one I wanted to dart
I did not want history to steal this art
So I opened the curtain and let the light in, which took more than a glance
Then I proceeded to open the window to let the fresh air dance
After opening the window, the birds and butterflies came in, couldn't miss a chance
The scent of the fresh flowers breezed in without tense
And there I sat smiling at the skies, pure with romance
So many words come from our mouth
even sentences some of them so long
but it's generally so easy so to speak
joining words so much like singing a song
But sometimes we speak the word never
promising never to do or say something
we're mere humans who can't keep a promise
so often feel helpless can't do anything
It's a wise thing to never say never
for we are prone to fall in its a trap
you'll be reminded by someone often
never say never before you're given a rap
But no doubt as a human you'll regret
these occasions your tongue lets you down
you hate yourself getting mad within
so silly for you look a real clown
Imprint it fully on your mind
as hard as you can don't ever
the consequences of this happening
so be in charge 'don't ever say never'!

Clever ways you play the game
All the times you lick your lips
Your body makes my hormones click
The never ending sexy touch
The way you move and hold your crouch
The textured ever flowing slits
The way your body spins and twists
Everyday I breathe and talk
Every drop dead sexy walk
All I do is thinking of you
And syrup looking thing like glue
Tantalizing never know what to say
All the times you made my day
Holding you close is one big wish
Something I so much admit I miss
I never thought you would be long gone
But never say never was never wrong
So now I have one last short word
Never say never once ruled my world
