Premium Member Death of a Dear Lady

I often passed the time away
walking with you, Natalia,
down on the beach.
The sand, the sun, the surf,
perfection to you.
The breeze with its saliferous scent,
the sound of the swelling billows
as they hit the darkened rocks.

I often remember those walks.
How can I ever forget?
Your sparkling eyes,
that wan smile,
the resignation of life despite
the scar that ran down
one side of your cheek,
a remnant of a useless operation.

Ah Natalia, you always amazed me.
We have been friends, since our childhood days.
Always friends ready to help.
You never changed.
Your staunch attitude and patience,
your failing strength and knowledge
that you had no future to look forward to.
Yes, you amazed me that facing death
you even planned your own funeral.

Till one fine sunny day,
despite the lost battle,
a smile on your face
you peacefully passed away,
surrounded by
your many brothers and sisters,
missed by all and especially
by me. Rest in peace, dear Natalia,
rest in the peace you deserve.

A Letter To My Father

How am I suppose to know you care,
If every time I grieved for you, you weren't there?
I always thought someday you would have came along,
But it seems like i was thinking wrong.

Sometimes I sit and wonder the reason why you left,
And why you made promises you never kept.
I really want to know why you went away,
And why don't you want to come back to stay.
When someone asks about you I tell them a lie,
Then i'll go sit by myself and cry.

Where were you when i was under stress,
Just because i didn't wanted to fail my test.
Mummy was there every step of the way,
But i counted on you to come and save the day,
Even though you weren't in my graduation crowd,
I am still your daughter and i'll always make you proud.

So even though i'm hurt & sad,
No matter what you're still my dad.
I'm proud to be your one and only daughter,
But just remember i'll always love you throughout any matter

                                                                                  Natalia Williams
                                                                                  15 (yrs)

In My Head

Suicidal thoughts kept running through my head
Thinking maybe i'll be better off dead
My life is like algebra hard to find a solution
To me killing myself was the only option
Slowly cutting my wrist with a razor blade
Leaving scars on my skin that will never fade
Whenever i sit an try to figure out why
All i get is flashbacks and a reason to cry

Each day that goes by there is a battle to face
With someone telling me i'm such a disgrace
It's like no one cares about me or my feelings
Because the more i try to change the less they start caring
Calling me names like ***** an hoe and other hurtful thing you won't want to know
I really wish my life could start over
And maybe everything will be much better
But for now i'll stay in this cold hearted world
And maybe i"ll have a story to be told
                                                                          Natalia Williams
                                                                           15 yrs

On the third day of February I started my collection
In my own little room are silhouettes of a dream.
A dream that commenced from a simple attraction
A simple acquaintance that lasted years to stream.

In each day of every month that passed by
I collected over eight thousand images of my dream.
It is an animated dream, a living dream
That kept me alive for so long as years came by.

A dream that brought so much joy and enthusiasm
A dream that became a reality without sarcasm.
A dream that gave birth to my worth
To become an instrumentalist, molded and set forth.

From the very same room where I kept myself dreamy
To the world I imparted peace and harmony
Reminding it's only beauty that the world possesses
All good and all inspiring our world deserves and confesses.

After twenty-two years of silence and devotion
My small room is now open to set my dream untied.
As much as I can keep my clear intention
Unveiling my paintings and sculptures as my first love...
  is now free and unified.

I called my little room "Natalia"...
A room I never had in my life
But in my dreams
She is all mine!

Daddy's Girl

Sometimes i wonder what it feels like to b a daddy's girl
To be treated like a precious little pearl
To feel like princess in a pink little dress
To call on my daddy whenever i'm distressed
So when i'm lonely, sad and blue
I"ll have a daddy i can hold on to
A dad to hold me when i'm cold
And treat me like i'm the only girl in the world
Whenever i'm scared an cant sleep at night
A dad who would tell me everything's alright

A dad who would read me bedtime stories
And draw me rainbows, horses and ponies
A dad who'll protect me from even a bee
A dad who'll be overwhelmed just to see me happy
I wish i had a father who will be all mine
To sing me songs of many kinds
I know its a bit late for that type of wish
But it doesn't matter if he was a fish
I would hug him and squeeze him all through the night
And pray that he'll stay until morning light
                                                                       Natalia Williams

Premium Member Controversy

For Natalia Kills

Are the majority
of things in
life controversies?
It seems like
there is always
another side
of the story
You have to
maneuver delicately
amidst the minefields
of trepidations that
pester your
daily routine
Even simple decisions
can cause angst
Who to go out with?
Where to go? When?
Others are involved
making it hard
to appease everyone
Such is life

Wishes For a Friend

(29/03/2012)

Friends like them are easy to find
Do small talks but never bind
Not complaining here, I don’t mind
They all are okay, pretty kind

Unlike you, girl! You’re one of mine
I’ll erase if any mistake done
As we polish this friendship to shine
Far there, I hope you will be fine

Have a happy and merry life to dive, Risma

*Dedicated to my dear friend Risma Natalia Marpaung.
A friend, a mentor, and a funny story teller.

Revelation

Like a rose by autumn broken,
losing charm of wound in the frost,
so with a tear in me
      your heart -my heart hurts.
And I'm not care not color nor bird,
no feel sorry for this tiny drass,
in each image and star I found
see a shadow of your trail not once,
      captured by the visual fraud,
fly like free butterfly in your sections
and search and call, but you're not
your are not a bird nor a blade, you are
just a piece of my heart and breath....

Natalia’s expecting her very first child
Early morning sickness thankfully it is mild
When feeling first kick, husband and wife smiled

Baby names chosen for girls and boys
Eager friends buy clothing and soft toys
Great excitement at Natalia’s due date
Isaac and Natalia simply cannot wait
No sign of contractions, the time drags by
Next day labor and baby gives a hearty cry
Incredible joy when they take baby home
Now life’s complete with their son Jerome
Getting into routine, they’re finding it strange
Sleep deprivation – both hope that will change!

Premium Member Tragedy At Sea

Natalia Andrea Larranaga Fajardo

Here lies one who died pitifully
She would have sought anonymity,
But publicity stole away her privacy
She threw herself off a ship at sea.
Trying to salvage her favorite flip-flops
And got sucked into the vessel’s props.

Natalia

Natalia,

Lips softer than rose pedals. Skin as smooth as silk. Her hair as light as feathers glimmering in the light of the sun. Her blue eyes are open to the window of her soul allowing me to peer in and see the love held in her heart. I hold my breath and remain motionless as I hear the words being said to me by her. I love you.

Premium Member Two Sides Would Be Wonderful

Some people had two sides; Natalia had at least six or seven.
Attempting to nurture all of them simultaneously was impossible.
She tried to encourage one side at a time.
Other sides waited their turn; some were stamping their feet.
Having two sides would be a relief, and a breeze, she thought.
