Belated Elegy and Eulogy For Sir Abdul Kalam

Professor Abdul Kalam the luminous brilliant star

I pay homage to you from here in Dar

Great brill scientist in the field of Aerospace

A noble man with an intellectual mien and grace

Aeronautics and more were his speciality wow!

He's referred to as India's best known nucleur Scientist.

An inventive mind has passed away now

Lets celebrate and commemorate a great catalyst

He did India proud and did a lot for her

All Indians who know him will concur

Elected as her great President as well

Sad now to bid him adieus and farewell

Yay, the Indian soil has now a brilliant hero in her bosom indeed

I adoringly salute this great man of my race and my creed.

When a scientist dies it is a great loss for us all
May God raise more like him after his inevitable fall

But he can now repose in heaven's lap
On earth though he has left a mighty gap.

God I believe, loves those who utilise His gift of brains
Meditation releases us from earthly fetters and chains

Science and learning works your mind ; the brain needs exercise too
So I thank God for scientists , for scientific minds
That help to illuminate and enlighten this world, for me and you.

A Muslim Girl's Plight

My sisters and I are slaves,
Slaves to a harmful culture
That forces us to marry before we are grown,
At age 14
At age 9
At age 6
At age 5
Our mothers cannot vote
Nor can they save us
From the fearful and evil old mullahs
Who would turn my generation into suicide bombers,
Nor can they save us from the men
Who would have us before puberty,
Who force us into the terribly hot clothes,
Who punish us for being female,
Who deny us education,
Who would stomp on our smallest wish.

To Be Muslim

I cover myself.
They ask, "Why, are you ashamed?"
I say, "No. I'm proud."

I'M a Muslim I'M Not a Terrorist

I am a Muslim, I’m not a “terrorist”.
How can I be a terrorist
when I’m against all kinds of injustice.

I’m against every act of sin and evil.
I hate all kinds of crime and even loathe
what Adolf did to the innocent Jewish people.

I hate what God hates; He (Allah) hates oppression.
I’m against stealing, against taking away
people’s loved ones and belongings for no reason.

I’m against suicide bombings,
against racism, against ignorance,
against self-harm and even derision.

What God hates I hate and God (Allah) hates
oppression. I hate it too when people fight
for foolish nationalistic reasons.

I’m a Muslim; I follow the true religion
of mercy from Allah the Most Merciful
Who simply wants us to answer His Call
to believe in Just One -Just One God of all.

So don’t call me a “terrorist” when I clearly
don’t have a ‘mass destruction’ weapon
and my goal in life is to
be with our God (Allah) in Heaven.

Why Only Muslim Terrorists?

To UN gathering in Newyork, 2005.
(This Poem is dedicated to Dalit human rights
Caste violence: Wednesday, August 31, 2005 (Gohana):
60 Dalit houses burnt down in Gohana, Haryana, India.)

Do you know why matters are pending?
Is nobody has interest to touch them?
Actually a person deals with a matter,
Why does he need it for a benefit?

Who cares about justice?
Thousands files are hiding cases,
They demand to proceed for justice,
Are the concerned people not aware it?

Terrorism is high spotted agenda today,
Poor Dalits are suffering over the centuries,
Their human rights and a terrorising class,
Is still a hiding case as benefit seekers deal?

Are they made options only for Muslims?
They feel their activities are terrorising,
But when they shall feel about Hindu terrorists,
Who burns Dalits houses and rapes them.

Today world’s unanimously adopting,
Why is it on terrorism only for Muslims?
Who shall speak for Dalit human rights?
Why is world blind for Hindu terrorists?

O Muslim

Muslim who influenced by westernize,
Lost name and Identity, drowned in Occidentalize,
Got accuse of terror and blame of activist,
Oh the Muslim, thou lost thy illuminant,

Thou turn away face from lessons of Quran,
Ever thou remembered the moral of surah Aal-e-Imran,
Betrayed thy self through curse deed,
The Almighty bondman what’s thee need,

Lead thou self toward astray,
Turned attention to infidel way,
Forgotten the worry of last abode,
Repent thy sins by viewing this ode,

Eager thyself of virtue, thirst of hay,
Inertial thought turns thou rough and clay,
Vivify thy self, You the Muslim and still alive,
Strong enough as the pillar of five,
Worldly life is not more than amusement and joy,
Be prepare for hereafter, as you have to die.

Apologizing To Every Muslim

Apologizing

To every Muslim I know and don’t know,
Whom I have offended in any way:
I’m sorry if there’s anything I owe,
Or if I’ve ever hurt you by mistake,

I’m sorry for any problem I caused,
For any arguments – if we did have –
Please forgive my forgetfulness and flaws,
Forgive if at you I have ever laughed,

I’m sorry if what I did I meant it –
If I did not mean it, I’m sorry too –
I’m sorry I acted like a ‘dimwit’,
Sorry to those I know and never knew.

Forgive – likewise, Allah will forgive you.
Forgive me please. May Allah forgive you too.

Ameen.

She looked into my eyes
There were tears, she wept
She was filled with remorse
But her past was not of her doing

Senseless death is never accepted
Never understood
Her sister is gone, no tear undone
For wanting to smile, to love, be young

Cultures grow old, wither and die
Some linger on, and make us cry
So stand up, when it becomes too clear
Defend those of the weak, those in fear

With voices loud, and filled with love
We shall rejoice, unveil 1000 doves
Kiss away those tears, the pain of so many years
Look into her dead eyes, take comfort, she will smile

From her grave, she will surely see
The anguish left, from barbaric acts
This hatred of man can never last
A child is she, a shining light

Sister, she would grasp your body an soul
And whisper, you must continue this fight
Forgive those who walk in blindness
And cherish those who forgive with kindness

- dedicated to a young girl in Pakistan braver than I

Muslim Woman

I cover my head
I cover my face
I cover my body
Why then am I treated like nothing

Jesus loves you

Muslim Terrorists

© Ben Burton 2-2-2015
The left contends that terrorists are really not Islamic
They're merely masquerading, maybe Christians in disguise
A peaceful man wrote the koran, the prophet named mohammad
While Christians idolize that vicious killer, Jesus Christ

Political correctness was the means by which they cowed us
They made us feel like bullies anytime we used our brawn
Our natural inclination to placate the ones who doubt us
Has led us to this place where we embrace what once was wrong

All muslims stand for peace and they police their members sternly
They make sure all their womenfolk are yoked, except their eyes
And once sharia law has been invoked in every country
The ones who watched it happen can't say squat, no hows or whys

obama must be muzzled or our troubles will continue
Too many so-called moderates won't keep his butt in line
If Carson/ West can somehow get to be on our next menu
We'll have a plan to catch and tan some Muslim terrorist hide

Life of a True Muslim

Life of A True Muslim
I am a Muslim
And God I praise
For all of his blessings
In one God I believe
He is alone God of All His Beautiful Creatures.
He sit in Arsh e Mauala in His Holy Chair
Above one earth and 7 skies.
And watch His all creature from there
Lord of the universe
Compassionate to me
Muhammad the Prophet
Taught me the way
To be honest and truthful
Throughout everyday
The Holy Qur'an
The true guide of Muslims Life .
Its teachings I follow
 without disobeying.
Islam is my religion
Preaches good deeds
And forbidden bad deeds
Mercy and Kindness are its key features
To the right path it leads
Upon all humanity
God showers his Grace
Regardless of colour
Nationality or race
Through working together
Our hopes increase
To live in a world
Full of love and peace
Full of love and peace
I am a Muslim
And God I praise
For all of His blessings

The importance of Islamic regulation
It develops a healthy nation
Whoever fears Allah
Will never harm His creation
One who has Imaan in his heart
Will never lie in his conversation
The person who is good to others
Is the one who gets appreciation
Each and every minute is precious
As we are in an examination
Whoever follows Islamic rules
Heaven will be his destination
O don't waste your precious time
As it is of a very small duration.

If we watch the life of a true Muslim.
His heart is free from greed;
He keeps away from sins,
And shuns all dishonest deeds.

His philosophy is simple,
It is called Islam:
Submission to Allah’s will,
The religion of Abraham.

He declares and bears witness:
There is no God but Allah,
And His messenger is Muhammad ,
The noble son of Abdullah.

Prayers strengthen his morals,
And fasting creates taqwa:
Which is fear of the Almighty;
Yes, it is the right formula!

The commitment to Islam,
He displays in the pilgrimage;
He happily pays the poor due;
With Allah is his wage.

He treats this worldly life,
As only a trifling matter;
His abode is in Paradise,
Forever, in the hereafter.

The heart of such a Muslim
Abounds with joy and happiness;
Whatever his Lord sends to him,
He accepts with thankfulness.

O Muslim

Come O Muslim, Come Back to Our God,
The Holy Trinity One Lord, Before late it be,
Come O Muslim, Come back before Damnation do thou see

Can you not reason out of heart,
That you have been Misled, O' Torn apart,
Wrapped around the Lie of Lies, did that Bastard Mahomet bring,
A 'Book' so hideous, Hellish Destruction does it sing

We see with our eyes, the Fruits of his Tree,
Bitterness, hatred and bloodshed a-fire ranging sea
No rest at all, this did John speak,
A place of endless misery bloodshed, hatred and tears that fall a'weep.

What O what has this Snake done to you all Ishmaelites?
He has poisoned your minds and hearts,
That thou are blinded by it, thou not see Love
This is your punishment as well as mine,

For Faith in Jesus Christ, God decrease it well,
Now God sends this Curse right from the pits of Hell,
And as all the Saints do Fearlessly Proclaim,
Those who Follow Allah and is False Prophet are Dammed over and over again.

Time will come When Bel will bow,
Time will come When Artemis will die,
Time will come When Lilith will suffer,
Lucifer and his devilish Mohammed will face the Wrath of Yahweh

Then O Muslim, no more shall thou be called so,
Then Son of Ismael, will bow down and reconcile and God will he adore,
My heart till then is torn apart,
To be Roman Catholic and Love a Muslim Girl,
Now I feel Prophet Hosea's pain,
The Pain he felt when God's Cries to his people went in vain.

I hope that one day through her souls will be save,
Now I am the Lamb that God must slaughter to win her heart a-wave,
The day will come when her eyes fills with tears,
Gone will I be then, Done my Work as God's Chosen One.

She'll think back in year, Her torment will be this New Cross She bears,
Her thoughts on God and me alone,
In her age she will die a heart rendered, a-torn.
But this will be a beautiful thing, For she will join me in True Paradise,
And together with the Choirs of the Angels to our Lord and God Jesus Christ Shall we Joyfully sing!

God Have Mercy on the Muslims and Lead them Back to you!
I am your Instrument, Break my heart a'blue!
I am your Chosen Emperor, Sent to Raise the Roman Catholic Faith!
Subdue the House of Hagar, the 'Cross Bearers' shall definitely take!
A gift to the Church a Muslim's Faith,
Sometimes it is necessary on them a War we'd make!

Amen!

Just Saw a Muslim Woman

I know, I know
      that we are fighting
wars with a Muslim nation
      The other day a
young woman with a kerchief
        smiled at me
What am I to make of this?
    How shall I proceed with
         my Zionist ambitions
Night is coming - and blesses
    sleep
  Before I go to Dreamland
I'll give a quick thought
    to peace
Shalom, shalom, SHALOM

“Adults fear their youths who see through hypocrisy and won’t be silenced. Told to stop disrespectful behavior and not to fight ~ though it’s adults who taught them to stand up for what is right”—Poet

There is a book burning
Nine months since the banning of books,
The politics of fear are rising from minds bent
Into a Muslim camp they are sent
Seventeen-year-old Layla and her parents
detained inside, her boyfriend on the outside
Even though they’re citizens. What does he do?
Comparisons to the Japanese camps in WWII
White supremacy, a chilling coincidence?
Should Muslim Americans fight back for their independence?
Parents struggle just for survival,
under an unscrupulous Director and his guard’s evil revival
What takes place in determent is no mystery
It has already happened in history
Truth is hidden by the dictators
Bullies, cowards crass with words cruel, blustery,
Controlling, sparking fear unfettered, in this story
Freedom is traded for a false quote
Fascists and authoritarians never remote

Our voices will not be silenced
Power to teenage protagonists!
As a high school teacher Samira knows,
Teenagers always speak out to those
Show they have power, fear young hope collectively
Our privilege, use it for what’s bigger than we
Conflicts parents who shield their child to the nth degree
Meanwhile those children have gleaned from their parents
“You raised me to ask questions for injustices and now you shut me down”
Marching encouragement, teenage Idealism, hope
Duty to fight for justice is in wide scope
Youth who gaze toward the future can make a difference
They have perceived corruption in their world
They shall fight with persistence, resistance
Young activist with a desire
Unbridled zeal afire
