Late at night
          not a sound
                    to disturb

Meditating thoughts
          form reality
                    in a nutshell

Rain simmers
          after snowy day
                    ice jungle

Joys of life
          transverse spheres
                    of peace

Writing poems
          is my therapy
                    from existence

Thoughts of loved ones
          break the panes
                    of serenity

Who knows
          what is at next curve
                    of road

Sipping beers
          exhaustion relieved
                    with a grin

Not enough time
          to fulfill desires
                    driven by Fate

Across Melodic Skies

~

Echoes breath of northern fields
where rhythms form as twilights dance
Alone my love does play for you
on mystic strings of found romance

Neath weathered winds on sunset views
of amethyst and crimson haze
Fluorescent flows in shimmered light
to harmonize these snowfall days

For hear my love, eurhythmic tones
symphonically our song takes flight
Concertos played of purest sound
across melodic skies this night

Melodic Voice

Melodic voice

I heard her
melodic voice
   this morning
as the sun rose
   and my heart
    felt the
dawning of
    perfect harmony

Melodic Echoes

Melodic echoes

I drink in your fragrance,
tasting the flavors, your moistened lips
simmering upon each breath…
warm, offering a honeyed embrace

Porcelain skin, a delicate petal,
sweet jasmine temptation…
melting as one, mouths entwined
drenched in serenity

We exhale softly, faintly
amidst flowering dreams
where passion wafts and
mesmeric breezes drift quietly

While deep within our silence we hear,
not yesterday’s wishes,
but euphoric love…
on melodic echoes of forever

The chiming of wind chimes hanging from my porch,
Calm my soul with the soft tinkling to my ears
As the breeze moves them with melodic motion
Carrying me away from worries or perpetual thoughts
With perfect timing, as trees sway and clouds float by
Each chime beats with my heart, in this precious moment
When my life is as simple as a sweet tune from a breeze
All wrapped in what I hear, with a breath and nothing more
A place where I can rest, in Mother Nature’s chiming song

Melodic Words

Shakespeare, with words, made his quill but dance
Upon parchment and paper, so daintily along
From poems to plays, with tragedies’ glance
Each word, so penned, could be sung in song

Oh, the masters indeed, had a command for the verse
Each line was a moment of life with a sound
Leaving not ever, their readers to thirst
For music was heard through the words, while profound

Alive well today, among the poems of many who pen
Are lyrics, or just writes, that read like a song
Even from those written by you, my dear poetic friends
Are melodies voices that echo and are strong

Melodic Visions

Peaceful clouds floating by, in my
visions they do keep.
Melodic tones softly chime, wind
resting near my feet.
Eerie words confound my brain yet
undoubtedly relax my soul.
Nesting near the blue waters edge,
sun sets on truths untold.

Melodic Muse
________________________

You are peaceful and serene,
babbling like the little stream
How I've grown to love you so
my melodic muse, I've come to know.

You are my favorite song,
and in my arms, you do belong
I paint your picture in my mind
and rehearse the words, line for line.

Oh, what splendor I do feel,
it almost seems too surreal
but it's you, I adore the most
raise a glass, to you I toast.

My beautiful, Melodic Muse
my hearts stings and hurts with a bruise
could you, not see my plea
the love and thought I gave to thee.

How my heart bleeds for you,
and there's nothing, I can do
beautiful, indeed you are
but I now love you from afar.

Why did you have to leave,
where did you have to go
my heavenly melodic muse
from so very long ago.

Melodic Compounds

Keys pressing soft chords on the piano
No colors here, just black, white and gray
A single light shines into the room
Is it possible to sing your heart away?
"All I did was suffer.." she cries in the dark
Her chest rises and falls with the pain
Melodies bouncing off and come floating back
So beautifully resistant, but going insane.
Keys pressing chords on her heartstrings
The pitch giving rise to her tears
Breathing in the melodic compounds
These verses that scream of pain and fear
Dark eyelids hoping for a better vision
Fingertips pressing for some kind of release
Vocal chords rising to the vaulted ceiling
Echoing back down vibrations, and peace.
Keys pressing soft chords on the piano
No colors here, just black, white and gray
A single light shines into the room
Is it possible to sing your heart away?

Trickling water streams,
Flowing waves of soothing peace;
Cobblestoned bottom.

A Melodic Spring

Whistling breeze, a pleasing song so dear to me
The sunlit drops dancing upon warm cobble streets
Dancing sakura so pink and pure of a snow below
Small creatures gliding across the pastures beside me
A perfect day to begin a song filled melodic spring

Death of a Melodic Soul

Her depression drones
an endless dirge
and proffers toxins,
sliding between space
that lied between his rhythm and ruin
that rejoiced her melodic destruction.

Embraced by shadows
and loved by not a soul
as the phantom consumes
the entire light
as she lies stripped bare
in a grave filled with bones.

They whisper their tear soaked songs
the intoxicating sweet scent of sorrow,
surrounds .

Ending so artistry,
with the fulmination of stars
a supernova be adorn,
goodbye to the soul
turning to be the artifact of the passage of time
only evidence of her condition
was the grave with her name
itched in bold.

Hold on, stand up, and enjoy the sound
Move in, jump off, just don't sit down
The floor gives way, rewind and replay
Listen to the drum that our love plays
An off-beat number at an allegro tempo
Tick-tock metronome, clock unstoppable
Sensations of vibes coming deep within
Rhythm integrates into my soul & blood
The waves cascading across my eardrums
Drowning my mind in some melodic flood

A band of showy daffodils
Sway and
Their yellow trumpets
Blown by a bellowing wind
The Bluebells ring their dainty chiming bells
Songsters sing a sweet melodic lullaby
Painted Ladies clap their wings
Crickets mark out a Ruthmic beat

Woodpeckers do paradiddles
Bullfrogs provide the bass
Bees fill the rests
Eyes in the sky in profusion
Look down advisedly
Bigfoot listens hidden behind a tree
The stream trails its silver ribbons
Trout jump and splash
The fireflies guide visitors to their seats

The bluebells ring
The songsters above
Sing a sweet melody

Hello, Hello, just a shadow
In a rat race on game show
it’s a rat race on a circus show
Just a game for the cat chase,
In a rat race against the cat chase
In this circus show
On my tiptoe, for Romeo
Under the mistletoe
But the lifeguard let go

Manifesto
I'm in denial
I'm in denial
Hunted by a crocodile

I'm swimming idle
I'm swimming idle.
In denial
In the Nile

Hit the dial, I'm going to go viral
Applying makeup to my face
Laughing at that clown
The image in the mirror is a disgrace

Turn me upside down
So, I can drown with a smile
The vertigo, the under toe
Let the water flow

Not so long ago
But now my manifesto
An aficionado shadow

Hello, hello
I'm in denial
I'm in denial
Hunted by a crocodile

I'm swimming idle
I'm swimming idle.
In denial
In the Nile

Hit the dial, I'm going to go viral
Applying makeup to my face
Laughing at that clown
the image in the mirror is a disgrace

Turn me upside down
So, I can drown with a smile
The vertigo, the under toe
Let the water flow

Turn me upside down
So, I can drown with a smile
The vertigo, the under toe
Let the water flow the dial, I'm going to go viral
Applying makeup to my face
Laughing at that clown
The image in the mirror is a disgrace

Turn me upside down
So, I can drown with a smile
The vertigo, the under toe
Let the water flow

Hit the dial, I'm going to go viral
Applying makeup to my face
Laughing at that clown
The image in the mirror is a disgrace

Turn me upside down
So, I can drown with a smile
The vertigo, the under toe
Let the water flow

Not long ago, my manifesto glowed
An aficionado lost in shadow’s hold
Hello, denial, I swim the Nile’s flow
Hunted by a crocodile, idle and slow
Hit the dial, go viral, my mirror’s a disgrace
Upside down, I drown with a smiling face
