Best Marly Poems

The Neighbor Kids

I got a call one day,
it would be my first babysitting job,
so I was excited and nervous.
I got there 'round five;
the mom was friendly,
I loved her smile,
she'd be back by eleven, she said,
and I waved to her when she left.
The little girl, Marly's her name,
a sweeter cherub one could ne'er find,
I coloured Cinderella and Care Bears for an hour,
then made paper airplanes that went every which way.
I made them chicken,
they said they hated pepper on it,
so I put it away and never saw it again.
They ate for an hour, it was relatively quiet,
and afterward it was time to wake up the baby.
At first I was unsure,
babies are a little tough,
but we didn't turn on the light.
Marly came with me, she told me what to do.
We sang "You are my Sunshine",
and the little one, Lucas,
said to play trains.
We played trains,
and built long winding tracks,
driving Thomas the Train around and around again.
Then it was Cartoon Time.
After three episodes of Spongebob, it was Bed Time.
A change of diapers was next, another new adventure,
and the two elder ones went to bed.
I stayed up with baby,
and he was as quiet as can be.
I nearly jumped when the door opened,
but is was just mom coming home. It all was good,
I told her,
the kids were asleep,
(one in Mommy's bed!)
and the baby was ready to go snuggle up in his crib.
I bid her goodnight and stepped into the dark,
thinking of the fun time I had,
and slipping in the fresh mud on my shortcut back home,
still smiling.

What I Am Feeling Now

A few days of Sunshine a few days of pain
A few days of Joy a few days of rain
A few words of kindness a few words of stress
A few words of peace a few words of meaness
A few tears of happiness a few tears of lamentation
A few tears of celebration a few tears of deppression
A few smiles of mercy a few smiles of condemnation
A few smiles of forgiveness a few smiles oppression

Questions

Bobb Marly
30 April 2011 3:20 PM

Is it the end or the beggining
For He is the beggining and the end

Is death life and life death
His death brought us Life

Is reality a dream
We dream of His reality

Is He in us
Are we in Him

We question for these answers
He answered for our questions

He died for us
We live for Him

To All of My Fellow Artist

Just because you can do something dosn't mean you should
Appropriate times and places must determin if you would

speaking your mind
exspressing your rhymn

letting your feelings flow
exspressing what you know

I will fight because it is your right
I will fight with all of my might

( But why would you want to exspress to those to young to understand?)

Do not awaken lust before its time
It cases a young boys heart to go blind

They no longer see the beauty of her soul
Sexual gratification becomes their goal

They don't learn the true value of a warm embrace.
The magical memory of the smile on her face.

What they will see first are her lower parts .
Instead of the jewel within her heart.

For them true love may always be
A fairytale and mystery.

Lust will be what they know.
And lust will be what they show.

So why show to your child and mine.
Things that are wrong for their time.

Appropriate tiems appropriate places.
Makes our Father proud and puts smiles on faces.

It opens minds and your message will be heard.
People will listen and hang on every word.

They will see your pictures and arts
They will feel it within their hearts.

If you use wisedom and undeerstanding.
God will bless what you are planning.

King James Wisdom

Hateful speech doth not one become
Neither doth a lieing tongue
Filthy language hurteth the ear
Threatening words causeth hearts to fear
A gossips whisper is poison indeed
A flatterers words its caution thou need
Hasty words are ones mistakes
Bragging words doth aggravate
When thou speaketh use wisdom and grace
And thou willst not have egg on thine face

If I Cry Let Me

27 Jan 2017
1:00 PM

If I cry, let me

If I cry, let me cry
Let the tears flow like a river to the ocean wide

Let my sorrow pour out from the depths of my soul
Let it wash away the pain so that love can grow

Let not resentment, dissappointment, failures fears and hate
Block the way of my hearts gate

God has opened the gate and poured forth the flood
To wash away my sin with Christ shed blood

The Cleansing Wind of Change

25 July 2012 8:00 AM
The cleansing wind of change

The winds of change blow into the face of time.
Sweeping away the moments of the present ,
keeping the past from takeing the future.
Each moment struggles when it is born to remain and exist
for it knows its fate and does not want to fade away.
They become but memories some bitter and some sweet and
the wind of change blows forever on, cleaning the way for the future.

To Those Who'Ve Commented On My Poems

Your comments have been ecouragement to me
They inspire and build up and set me free

Without a comment now and then
Discouragement would come and set in

I am so happy that my words are read
I am glad they come to life and not fall over dead

I appreciate you all so much
As we communicate and our hearts all touch

My life is rich and better indeed
For all the love you have given to me.

Sincerely Bobb Marly

Love Like Hate

Those who Love me know me well and they don't believe lies that others tell.
Those who Like me know me some they don't want to believe the liars tounge.
Those that don't like me don't know me enough and are welcome to do so though it
may be rough.
Those that hate me don't know me at all their hearts are closed and two sizes to
small.

6 Am

It's six am and here I am again typeing away on this puter
Talking to no one and yet anyone whom this way will wander

God morning to you I hope your day goes well
May you have many adventures this evening to tell

I hope your sleep was warm and your coffee was hot
May you love all you meet with all you've got

I hope to see and talk to you all
Not on here but face to face and standing tall

Though I love time I spend on here with you
It can not compare to when I am there with you

I Have No Peace In This Life

I have no peace in this life
25 Nov 2018 11:59 AM

I have no peace in this life
In this world there is only strife

Vulgarity and **** they are the norm
Love is cast out and into sin we are born

In this world we do have trouble
We do not live in a magic spiritual bubble

The only true peace is that which Christ gives
That where He is there we may also live

It is so hard to hold on and fight on and carry on
When every thing is greased thick like scum on a stagnet pond

Christ is the light and our only hope
For we all hang ourselves with our own rope

We are selfish and self centered
We are divided and splintered

Each day just gets harder and harder
But the love of God continues to grow stronger and stronger

Yes it is tough and it is sad
But I will still hold on with all that I have

I will run this race and fight this fight
All through the day and all through the night

My one and only goal you see
Is to be with Christ and to help others to see

How Far

14 oct 2012 11:00 AM

How far has the east gone from the west
How deep is the sea of forgetfulness

How is it that the past never escapes me
Why is it that I swim the the sea though its waves terrify me

How foul the vomit of mistakes
How foul that like a dog I return to it

How stinging is the whip of regrets
How much more stinging that it is I who punishes me with it

The east is on the right and the west is on the left
of a cross whos arms will never touch

The sea is as deep as the pool of blood that came from a man
who gave every drop as redemption for us all

The foul stench of mistakes and the sting of regret are cleansed and healed by the stripes and sacrifice of a Christ a Savior who made Himself a sacrifice for all people for all time

Gnarly Marly smelled like barley
Stinking up her old man’s Harley
He was a tough guy who did not mind
Secretly a marshmallow, always immensely kind

They rode their hog in all kinds of weather
Marly perched on the back like a cardinal feather
Her man Chuckie was a rare and odd find
With a Harley that was always waxed and shined
