I am from east you are from... west? North? South?
to whichever place you're from, hear my happy shout! :D
Remember the first moment I said hi and hello
you did not repel instead you appeal like magneto...

You... I never seen. I never heard
but you hug my heart with your words.
You are as yellow as the rising sun
but sometimes sad you make my tears run

with the heart-to-heart stories we share.
Maybe because we are thousand miles apart
defensive barriers and built-in walls we tear
bubbling free is our blossoming fresh start.

There is a clue when you are feeling blue
this when you drew views lacking hues.
Of humour, you may not hear my thunder laugh
nor behold my grin that is whole or half

but so sweet you are always there- a care bear!
Nights and days passed, we want to more than chat
like a meteor, we did try this voice-call...
Spark! I heard your voice, my oh my, I rejoiced!

Your presence a present whenever no one is there
for when I push the button "send", time you spare
to reply, you care... "Thank you" is all I say.
More, you even said: "You'll add me to your pray'r"

Internet signals like unstable ECG antagonizing our talk,
I thank our Dear God our bond as strong as a rock,
months rolled, we discovered we could duet to write
verses singing rhymes, flying high our own kite...

To the whole wide moving world, I want them to know
if persons are honest and sincere they will surely grow
as finding true people-- there are risks. Dig in but do it slow
'cause real persons are as precious as gems that glow

POEM OF THE DAY: JULY 04, 2015

OLIVE ELOISA GUILLERMO

Super Heroes and Super Villains

I remember the days I was like Dracula
Lonely, and sucking peoples blood!
The life force of my victims,
Now that I've realized my true purpose!
Im kinda like Batman saving society at the darkest times,
No jokers just the riddler!
Solving complex codes
Messages from the unknown,
Mr strange- Mr. weirdo just saved
Gotham from its strange outcomes.

Alien invasion:
The intrusion of friends In my work,
Hard work no pay; just more will
More fire: I go supernova,
Writing for justice
The path of righteousness,
Superman and wonder woman's,
The Flash: the lightning of the heart
The light rod of the right hand,
Knowledge so bright:
It bursts through my eyes,
So I wear sun glasses like Cyclopes,

A freak show,
Welcome to Charles Xavier academy for the special,
A mutant fighting for humanity!
The irony behind the talented and the wicked,
So I never stop practicing even though this comes naturally,
Attracting medals and propelling bullets
I'm Magneto: casting magnetic force fields and blocking all hate speech!

I'm the shine: blasting across the Pleiades
Like Silver Surfer- travelling the cosmos,
Conquering planets like Galactus
Searching for more dreams: those gems!
I'm Thanos I wield the universe,
My imagination: altering reality
From the norm to the impossible
Call me Dr Strange-healing
life through metaphysics and alchemy,
learned sorcery from ancient tablets
Humming runes and invoking shadows,
My many bodies of armor: The Iron Man

A nerd to the folks who don't
understand my study of science;
and a humongous ego
To the people who see my dreams-
I go hulk and I smash the abominations,
Haters and enemies be big in numbers
But I have my friends:
The Avengers cheering me on,
more love and more will power-
kinda like Green Lantern fighting Sinestro
Man the envy! But I'll save the world,
My dreams in this battle of self.

Premium Member Toyland Battles

The child, now sleeping, loudly snores.
The nightlight shines there on the wall.
If you could peer under the door,
The sight awaiting would enthrall:
It seems the toys have come to life!

They are engaged in no mere game:
A toyland battle to the death!
The superheroes are to blame;
The men in green have few troops left;
Their losses heavy in the strife.

With Duplo blocks, they barricade,
Regroup their forces there behind.
They inventory their grenades,
Make mental notes of where they've mined,
Prepare to meet their tragic end.

Magneto rises from the floor,
Unleashes his attractive beam;
The troops let out a racous roar,
for they are plastic, it would seem,
thus to his will they do not bend.

A team dispatched to try and flank,
To scale the chair, come from the back.
But Hulk awaits them like a tank,
Behind a pillow, sneak attack.
The spear is blunted, further thinned.

The captain, knowing things are dire,
Determines he will save the men,
and laying bare some lamp cord wire,
he challenges Magneto then;
His sergeant understands and grins.

Magnetic forces back in play,
the soldier runs, flips the switches.
The predator becomes the prey;
Magneto, arcing current, twitches:
a turning point in this grim war.

The flash of light wakes up the child;
she bolts up, eyes now open wide.
The spell is broken; meek and mild,
the toys, inert, lay side by side.
Her head back down, again she snores.

So that's an ABABC DEDEC tail-rhyme, and kind of a fun one!

Premium Member How To Drive a Model 'T' Ford

'Tis a challenge fer the uninitiated to drive a Model 'T' Ford!
There sure ain't no starter, automatic transmission or GPS aboard!
To start it, you must select the magneto settin' and adjust the choke,
Then, at yer peril, spin the crank and pray that yer arm don't git broke!

There's a baffln' array of switches, levers and pedals to operate,
That take a heap of coordination to get the 'T' ready to navigate.
There's three pedals located on the floor - clutch, reverse and brake.
If you know yer left foot from yer right, drivin' the old girl is a piece of cake!

To go forward, advance the throttle lever located jes' below the steerin' wheel.
Press the clutch pedal with yer left foot - with experience you'll git the feel.
To back up, stop the car, disengage the clutch and press the pedal fer reverse.
Be sure there's nothin' behind you - you might hit yer mother-in-law or worse!

In an emergency, stomp all three foot pedals to avoid hittin' a telephone pole!
That'll bring you to a joltin' stop and provide you with a modicum of control.
Use the oogah-oogah horn to shoo chickens, cows and goats outta yer way.
If you slaughter a farmer's critters, you'll sure enough have 'ell to pay!

Now you know more'n you ever wanted to know about drivin' a Model 'T',
And you've gained this invaluable enlightenment and it was all fer free!
If you are foolish enough to drive a 'T' I'd advise you to drive with care,
And if I may paraphrase the Good Book - "Gird your loins with faith and prayer!"

Super Heros

What it super hero's really did exist
I totally believe it would be cool until one of them got pissed,
Like the Hulk he is big and green
Then you have the villain's who can be really mean,
Superman flies and has massive strength
In the fantastic four you have Mr.Fantastic that can stretch any length,
And then there is Batman the man in black who knows how to hide
Oh the Ghost Rider who flames and knows how to ride,
The way Spider Man can use his web to swing from place to place
Each one has their own ways of protecting the worlds race,
It would be nice to have fantasy super hero's to be there for us
Like Wolverine who will claw you if you make a fuss,
Cyclopes has x-ray eyes that will burn you if you are bad
And Storm who will brew up a storm if you make her mad,
I do love Night Crawler who teleports totally fast
Magneto who has magnetic powers that last,
The invisible woman you cannot see not even on a wire,
These are fantasy hero's who have been drawn and made to seem real
Of course jean Gray has the power to sense what you feel,
Silver Surfer has a surf board to glide through the cosmos
I do wish all these fantasy hero's were real
But in Reality we have our Military hero's who really know what we feel.

A L O N

O kakapit at tatayo, humakbang palayo dito

Inner Whispers

The Costumed Dream

Seems like I'm falling
in love
     with Bat-Girl
Don't ask me how this happened
       Women in costumes
appeal to me
Not long ago I hugged a woman
in a cat costume
    Comic book dreams
coming through once more
  Green Lantern, Magneto and
       the reat
are competing with me
for the love of
  a costumed woman
I think that "love steeers the star"
  Fantasy women are sometimes
easier to deal with than real ones

Feel Me

I stand alone
Forever growing hunger, impatience
Magneto reception lends her hand to man
Hear my song

During WW II from a frozen aircraft in the Arctic sea
The Nazi General, Schmidt, named as Red Skull sneaky
Stole Tessaract, the eerie relic of godly power untold
He wanted to channel to have the world under his fold.

He was one of the main Marvel universe antagonists
Ensured that Super Soldier Serum in him would exist
For his involvement with Hitler’s covert terrorist regime
Magneto buried him alive, but Crossbones rescued him.

To be a soldier, Steve Rogers, a commoner, aspired often
After a few discouraging initial failures he could get chosen
For the super soldier unique experiment in the US military
Serum injection made him Captain America extraordinary.

Rogers performed astonishing acts of exemplary gallantry
Like when all the prisoners of war he could alone free
Stealthily infiltrating into the fortified Nazi stronghold
Notorious Red Skull constructed in the Hydra base old.

Lest Schmidt used mass destruction weapons with delight
Superhero Rogers attacked him in his aircraft in flight
Fearing disgraceful defeat, and not capable to even retract
Supervillain Red Skull used mysteriously powerful Tesseract.

The mystic force of the contraption opened a wormhole
Sucked into it the Nazi General’s wounded body whole
The aircraft disappeared in the Arctic sea without trace
Rogers remained unlocated, Red Skull vanished in space.

Success of the Tragedy

Like magneto of marvel comics
locked away
Charle Manson has made his escape
How did you do it?
How did you get innocent to kill for you?
Now he sits there in a cell writing memoirs for the government
Now he sits there on camera
with the government
wrapped around his pinky finger

School shootings
and going out of your way to the wrong wars
How else do you get people to kill for you?
they as and study and prodded the genius.....
How else do you get people to fight and stab and gouge and surrender
their free will to insanity

And now everyone at the top reads his books
analyses his ramblings
sings along to the songs written about him
and they know for truly
he is a humbled god

Those tragedys of school shootings
of psychologically tormented children with guns
scared and thrown away with no other way out
was a government success
or was it?

wrapped around the pinky finger of a genius
the guards the politicians
the musicians
the philosophers the poets
the teenagers the parents
the martyrs

The success of his tragedy!

Magneto

He has a mind that bends a steel,
but he does not care for what you feel.
In this world that's so unkind,
he is one of a kind.

He is one who does things with his mind.
You could hardly tell what he hides from behind.
Behind his mystic grin,
you don't know what lies within.

He could toss things without touching.
Unlike a tiger, you can't even see him crouching.
He is strong, as he is brave.
Though, at times, he is grave.

He's both a hero and a villain.
He fights for his world to break out from its chain.
He is the gap between light and darkness.
His end could justify his harshness.
