roses are red
violets are blue
only if you knew how in love i am with you,
maybe youd love me back,
maybe love is something you lack
youll lay in bed tonight with a face lit bright,
ill lay in bed with a new thin line on my arm, in red
trust me, you not knowing me is not why i do this
cutting is just my new found bliss.
if people knew, they'd call me crazy,
if people knew, they might care
People say time's a great healer
but my wounds they cut too deep
I still visualise your lying eyes
when I close my eyes to sleep
I found out you were cheating
when I heard your mobile phone
That darn incessant bleeping
and now you’ve wrecked our happy home
You packed your bags without a word
then headed straight out of the door
Your Jekyll and Hyde act was quite absurd,
I've seen it too many times before
Our friends say you are happy now
and you’re missing our 2-year-old boy
Yet you spend ALL your time with that old cow -
you’re just like a kid with a shiny new toy
People say time is a great healer
but my wounds they cut too deep
I still visualise your lying eyes
when I close my eyes to sleep
10-29-17
I blinked
My eyes lying to each other
“did you…”
“no, don’t”
“yeah…but I”
“stop blinking and shut it”
“but that image”
“shake it off”
I blinked again
a tear in one eye.

I'd be lyin' if I said I wasn't terrified, said I wasn't scared.
I'd be lyin' if I said dreams don't come true,to heights I hadn't dared.
I'd be lyin' if I said that I was perfect, my convictios aremy own.
I'd be lyin' if I said I wasn't proud of every seed I've sewn.
I'd be lyin' if I said time doesnt heal all wounds, scars they never close,
I'd be lyin' if I said I hadn"t a burned a bridge or two, still through ashes, once again I rose.
I'd be lyin' if I said I wasnt ready to love again, that you arent worthy of my time.
I'd be lyin' if i sid he didnt make my blue eyes shine.
With my shoulders back, my chin held high, beside him in will stand,
still tryin,
I can't say I don't love him, cause then, I would be lyin'.
She tells me, she loves me, but I know
Her eyes can’t keep a secret and it shows
If she could, I know, she’d let me go
Cause only resentment grows
Lyin’ eyes
Lyin’ hearts
We’ve both given up
But we still play the part
If not for the fear, of a new start
We’d do what’s right
Lyin’ eyes
Lyin’ hearts
Who’ll make the first move
What’s holding us back
This is long overdue
We’ve traded comfort for facts
We’ve wasted more time
Than we may have left
Livin’ aint lovin’ if it’s done so in jest
Lyin’ eyes
Lyin’ hearts
We’ve both given up
But we still play the part
If not for the fear, of a new start
We’d do what’s right
Lyin’ eyes
Lyin’ hearts
Why are we holding tight
To lyin’ eyes and lyin’ hearts
She was called the Lyin’ Tamer.
Absurdity would enflame her.
She could spot a line
way back from foot nine.
She’d decline and who could blame her?
If there is division and indecision in the Church, the Israel of God
It’s our low view of the Law of God?
Oh, many redefine what the law is
Or they say that Christ has done away with it
Is that what Christ said?
Do we not follow what God has said? Are we dead believers?
Can we come from our graves on our own to be receivers?
Some can say an epistle is straw
For believers the condemnation has gone away, not the law
If someone offered dead men, the elixir of life
And held it up and said come forward dead plight
How do we on our own come forward?
How do we who act froward?
Only dead men being called by God can perk their ears
Only dead men being summoned can hear
So, we hear with our ears, then we live it out in our hearts
Because our God is working in the inward parts
For someone to say that the law has passed away
Is to not understand the ever presence of The Life, The Truth and The Way
His fulfillment as a present tense
He comes to our defense
To say that some Old Testament Laws only apply to Israel
Is to have a low opinion of God and His vision visceral
There is always secondary application
God uses anthropomorphic demonstration
If God says something that should settle it
So don’t get high and mighty and meddle in it
But pray for the mettle to defend righteously
Giving a ready answer to those who ask hopelessly
The Church which is the Israel of God
The Church in the Wilderness connects us abroad
All who hear we need to come near and reason together
This is a command not a question of whether
Come now sands of the shore, the unlimited star count
Don’t fight and redefine God’s Law, because we will never surmount
So, is it ok to tell little white lies? Is it ok to be white lyin’?
Is it ok to associate perversion and that roaring lion
With those who are metaphysical scions?
No says The Lamb and The Lion, come to worship at Mount Zion
