LOVE STORIES (6 Haikus)
on one long low string
plumbing the depth of despair
violincello
like sharp pixie nails
teasing hurting sadistic
mascara blue smoke
she says “I love you”
perfumed breath mascara eyes
flask of red red wine
both vulnerable
blue cigarette smoke curling
tears empty bottle
gypsy violin
blue cigarette smoke curling
sans paroles
sorrow and despair?
no! a D arpeggio
sun flowers health life!
As the first red rose blooms
The first bloom of summer__see
It reminds me of you dear
For I know how much you
Love roses especially those of red
I long to see you soon
But our eyes won't gaze soon
I'll have to enjoy the blooms
All by myself__ they are red
Like all my blood flowing see
From my broken heart that you
Broke when you left my dear
I loved you so much my dear
But you found another love soon
I just could not share you
But miss you when roses blooms
There is another that I see
And he really doesn't like red
I'll just dig up roses red
Then I'll forget about you dear
This new person I finally see
I will really enjoy marrying soon
We will marry when pink blooms
Adorn the running rose__ forget you
I'll just forget all about you
Except now when blooms roses red
Next year there will be blooms
Of pale pink everywhere dear
I will enjoy planting them soon
I hope that you will see
All the red roses disappear see
Soon they will go then you
Remember our lost love very soon
Every time you see roses red
You will remember me my dear
You'll remember when red roses blooms
Red roses see over there red
Ones that you really love dear
Full bloom soon red rose blooms
(First try at a Sestina...Thanks for the challenge Jared.)
The red roses are in the vase
On the coffee table,
They were in your hand
On the way home last night.
Their colour shines
As if to show they're so proud.
Silent are the red roses,
They don't want to disturb love.
Is red the colour of love?
Ambitious and arrogant?
Then why do I have this fear of losing it?
My heart deeply asks
What will happen to love
When they wither.
The red roses stand still!
.
My gift to him is simple
Red Hot Cinnamon Sweet Hearts
Hot to match his red hot ways
Fiery hot man
(Fiery has three syllables here..)

Contest:"Red"
Guilt has no imagination.
It arrives in the form of red roses.
I have come to hate red roses.
Guilt has no imagination.
It cries the same tears
and promises the same promises.
Guilt has no imagination.
It's remorse is short lived,
Forgotten within minutes of apology.
Guilt has no imagination.
You buy me flowers,
then you cry, then you lie.
Guilt has no imagination.
It arrives in the form of red roses.
I have come to hate red roses.
RED is steamy, sexy
Filled with love, warmed hearts
Tied together, never apart.
Sweet RED lipstick, kissing
RED hearts floating in the air
Showing each other how much you care.
RED is mad, upset
Full of hurt and pain
Angry, with tears falling like the rain.
Hot, RED in the face
Full of hate,
Crushed, betrayed, very irate.
RED is hot, spicy
It can be sour, or sweet
It can be juicy, or very petite.
RED is tasty
It can be fed
Its warm, beautiful
Thats why I love RED!
He can write most classic words,
filled with passion and Romance,
Whilst She pens a unique verse,
showing him,She really cares.
He can send her a Red Rose,
with his name,on it embossed,
She can send him Hugs and kisses,
Sealed with Love,Wrapped in Red Ribbons.
He can send her,a Huge card,
Saying, from the very start,
She have captured his whole Heart,
even though they are apart.
She can send him a reply,
starting ,'Dear Valentine',
I've been yours along the time,
Will you be Forever Mine?
In Love letters are two Hearts,
tied with Wishes and Hot sparks,
Happy,Happy Valentine,
Sweetest Couple of all time.
Charma
The bright red convertible
His midlife-crisis-mobile.
Traded his faithful pick-up truck
For newer wheels.
Traded his faithful wife
For not as new mistress.
Changing his life , he said,
Changing everyone elses too.
Trying to recapture a youth
He had only had in dreams.
Bright red convertible.
The midlife-crisis-mobile.
He should be happy now
But was he?
Pass the field of red clover
Down the hill sown in fescue
Hides a winding, lazy brook mother
Protecting her young aquatic few
The tall paper birch shades and hides my lover
The lover's tryst, passionate desires coo
Pass the field of red clover
Down the hill sown in fescue
Come away with me, stay with me, lover
Your loves bright light to my rescue
Joys caress like a kitten's mew
Reminiscing bliss; my eternal love and I hover
Past the field of red clover.
For Jared's Rondel contest
So still the night around her
As perfumed candles softly dance
To the breath of tears now falling
Upon the petals in her hands
Glistening drops of memories
Cascade slowly down her face
As she is taken back through time
To a once upon a place
Where once she was a dancer
Upon a stage dressed in his smile
And blood red roses were an offering
With hat in hand,he showed his style
A nearing stranger in the shadows
He faltered from the light
Tossing blood red roses
Then softly whispering goodnight
These moments were so long ago
Still they're etched within her mind
As trembling fingers caress each petal
Her heart,it falls behind
Seeing is believing
She knows now she must move on
Though beautiful memories remain
The blood red roses have all gone
Somewhere in the stillness
Beyond the beating of her heart
There cries a thousand roses
Blood red and torn apart
The bouquet arrived with one red rose, encased in a mass of white, the single rose told of
a secret, always denied by his dear wife.
Like clockwork every month of May the red rose he would save, placing down a wreath of
white, upon his wife's grave.
The White represented happiness, one for every year, he spoke to her so softly saying
"They smell really sweet my dear".
He often talked of his day, his breakfast and his tea, he'd say "conversation's difficult
when the only one who talks is me"
"I always knew your secret, why did you never say? you could of told me anything, secrets
never go away"
He felt a pang of sorrow, one secret never shared, they'd play around it constantly, like
neither really cared.
"You almost once admitted it, remember when we danced, I held you close in my arms, in
love's classic starstruck trance"
He wondered why she held it back, he gave an almost smile, lost in thought he sat with her,
in silence for a while.
"If I could get to talk with you thats the question I would ask, why you never told me,
you'd say cause you never asked"
As he prepared to leave, picked his coat up from the grass, he looked down upon her grave
and said "well I always knew my lass"
20 years she had loved him,and one before she thought he knew, he'd tease of that often,
she denied always it was true.
So in the bouquet he order's are white roses of their truth, and a red one for the single
year he'd secretly loved her too.
Your roses are for your love.
In roses there lies red.
In red is blood, carnelian soul; life, your life, a life you devote so diligently to
another’s; the colour of your ardour, the roses in their cheeks.
In red is the heart, your heart, their heart, the hearts you sold to another pair of
hands.
In red is the acrimony that flushes your eyes, your tongue; the tacit spokesmen of
yet to be hysteria, discord, poison on their voice and aftermath of lachrymose.
Silences.
A petal falls. You forget about love.
A rose withers; personification at its finest.
The gold moon drips drops of yellow
Into the softness of the dark's blue
Velvet petals of red roses release
The sweet smell of their perfume
Within the garden of life and dreams
Love whispers smiles of memories
Desire shadows the mind's eye
Seeing between blinking
We dare to believe the little voices
Inside our hearts that dare to question
Answers to beautiful to believe while awake
One by one the red, red petals fall, fall, fall
Loves me, loves me not, loves me...
Until the bare pedestal of fate
Awakens one from the discomfort
Of a sizzling summer's slumber
Love teases you even in dreams
Dazed and hazed you roll over
Daydreaming of a dream at night
Day dreaming at night
The Alfa Romeo sport flaunting her red
Physical chemistry of love, red-handed;
Whizzes past in frills to blow the mind
Eighteen plus a zero the speeding craze.
A Red riding hood into the city of bears
Busting forth from the red blood heart;
Teddies groan to love in crimson blush
Crush a heart here, one there to bleed:
No damn war fated so many to death;
She does it here without a single shot.
