Rendezvous

Pass the field of red clover Down the hill sown in fescue Hides a winding, lazy brook mother Protecting her young aquatic few The tall paper birch shades and hides my lover The lover's tryst, passionate desires coo Pass the field of red clover Down the hill sown in fescue Come away with me, stay with me, lover Your loves bright light to my rescue Joys caress like a kitten's mew Reminiscing bliss; my eternal love and I hover Past the field of red clover. For Jared's Rondel contest
