Wise Men Still Seek Him Today

W-hen the fullness of time had come, Jesus was born behind an Inn in a cave-like stable.
I-n the Inn there was no room for the Son of God, no room for the Saviour of men.
S-tar was shining so bright above the stable for the shepherds to find their way to Him.
E-ven angels proclaimed His birth to those shepherds "Unto you is born this day."

M-anger is where Mary and Joseph first laid him. It was filled with hay.
E-very animal there must have known that their Creator had come that day.
N-o one knew the depth of love God had, to give His Son to dwell among men.

S-ame star guided three kings from the Orient, who studied the stars and heavens.
T-hese wise men from the East came saying "Where is He that is born King"
I-n their hands they brought him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrr.
L-ike these three wise men, wise men still seek him today!
L-ove is the reason that God sent His only Begotton Son into the world to save us.

S-eeking for you and me, yes God was seeking for us because we had left Him.
E-veryone, yes, all we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone to his own way.
E-ach one has to make his on decision to follow Him or not to follow Him.
K-ing, born to be a King. King of the ages. King of the past. King of the future.

H-eaven, He came from Heaven to earth to show us the right way.
I-niquity, the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
M-elody, He gives us a sweet melody, we sing many songs of praise to Him.

T-ree, A Christmas tree, the love that Jesus had for us, to die on a tree.
O-nly one life and how soon it passes. Only in life can we accept His Love.
D-eliverance, He came from Heaven to preach deliverance to the captives.
A-cknowlege Him and accept Him. Behold now is the accepted time.
Y-ou, Yes, this Christmas Love was for You. Will You accept this love?

LUNCH BOX

The sandwich was probably only two days old
School had let out for Christmas vacation on the 23rd
And now on Christmas Eve Sam had found it -
lunchbox and all - in an alley behind Clarke’s Super
The kid had taken a couple of bites of the apple – now
gone brown- but left the roast beef sandwich whole
“Too damn much mayo!” Sam frowned
“But boy am I hungry!”

Licorice the cat – so named by the neighborhood kids –
was hungry too and let Sam know it with his most
     plaintiff cry
Sam was street-wise an old cardboard box dweller who
had tenanted many boxes many alleys in his time
Yet this was no “Hello puss whose puss are you?”
     animal summons for attention
The yowl had a bone-rattle desperation Sam hadn’t heard
     before

Licorice blended with the night
But stood out even against the gloom
She was pressed against an empty oil barrel back arched
on the tips of her paws so almost skeletal
Sam couldn’t help but sigh
It was Christmas Eve and despite the location – a forlorn
back alley – a string of lights (from somewhere) were
     blinking
On
Off
On
Off
On
Off
On
The red-green-gold shown against Licorice’s satin fur
Charmed the (already charmed) night
Charmed Sam the Box Man
“Well I’ll be damned!” he gulped
Then threw half the sandwich to the starving kitty
“Merry Christmas old beggar.” Sam smiled

A Christmas Conversation

Daddy, were you alive when Jesus was born?

No honey, he was born a long time ago, over 2000 years ago.

Where was he born Daddy?

In Bethlehem, a small town in the desert in a manger,

Whats a manger Daddy?

It's a place where they kept animals to feed them.

You see when Jesus was born the Inn was full, so
they had to get Mary to a warm place to give birth to Jesus.
that was the only place they could go.

Daddy who is Jesus' Daddy?

God is his Father honey?

But who is Joseph?

The Chosen Father, who God chose to raise him, Mary's Husband

I don't understand Daddy!

God wanted a son, he could not have a son without Mary and Joseph's
help. God asked them both if they would help him, without even thinking
they said yes. God gave to them a great gift, God gave them Jesus.

At that moment God gave us all a great gift, He gave us the Son of Man.

The Son of Man Daddy?

Yes honey, you see God is not Man, not one you can touch, Jesus
was, he healed people who were sick, He showed people how to love God
and how God loves them. There is one more important thing
I want to tell you honey.

What's that Daddy? Jesus did a coupla more things I think are
important, there are many of course but two I like.

Go on Daddy!

Jesus taught us how to love without conditions, like the way I love you
and you love me and your Mom and Brother. But how to love everybody
like that. The most important thing is, is that he died because we humans
broke God's laws, which means we sinned. He died so God would
forgive us.

Wow Jesus really did love us didn't he Daddy...?

Yes he did baby, and the really good thing is he still does and always will.

Come on it's time for bed!

Not until I say my prayers Daddy!

How bout we Pray together tonight?

I'd like that Daddy!

So would I baby, so would I .

Jump up on my back and I'll give you piggy back ride!

I love you Daddy!

I love you too baby, I love you too.........

My Christmas wish is you all have Conversations like this with your
kids. Trust me they bring tears of joy!

May God Bless you all this Christmas Season as he has Blessed me.

From Mary, Josh, Shay and myself MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR

Joy of Christmas Love

Just as snow begins to drift and fall
Outside still my lover comes to call
Yes the fire is toasty warm, and bright
On my rug we curl up nice and tight
For awhile we kiss and murmur sweet
Casually he gets me on my feet
Hanging in the door there's mistletoe
Reaches for me as our feelings grow
In his arms he twirls me and I sway
Soon we realize Santa's on his way!
Tree lights twinkle bright across the room
Merry Christmas on our lips does bloom
At long last I unfold from his arms
Softly pull away from all his charms
Let us give each other just one gift
On to pretty packages we drift
Very soon it will be Christmas Day
Ending the night,we listen for that sleigh!

The Best Gifts

My youngest child taught me something today
That I had almost forgotten along the way

At this precious age the focus isn’t money
Or finding the promised land of milk and honey

As soon as we decorated our Christmas tree
She placed a gift beneath it saying, “For mommy from me”

It wasn’t a gift from a catalog or store
This special gift was so much more

She ran to her room, found her favorite toy, you see
Then placed it in a cracker box and gave it to me

No wrappings or ribbons just the heart of my child
With glowing eyes and a tender loving smile

That, my friends, is how Christmas should be
Because the best gifts aren’t found beneath the tree

Special welcome friend, come right in to my place of quiet serene.
Welcome to my Holiday home at this special time of year.
Of Master’s love and your’s my friend of wisdom’s grace may I glean,
As we dismiss St Nicholas myth this Christmas season’s cheer.

Three water pots filled of water be ready, heart, soul and mind.
Welcome to my Holiday home at this special time of year.
Welcome is thy mouth, of abundant life spout, pour in new wine.
We shall drink and be merry, wine of Sharon, on midnight clear.

Bright eyed of Christ mass, humbled children, these special gifts I would,
welcome to my Holiday home at this special time of year.
I would this season of bliss would kiss, as the brotherhood should.
Often blossoms love and kindness in this blessed season cheer.

My humble dwelling my log cabin near lively stream of life,
welcome to my Holiday home at this special time of year.
Where the Lamb and Lion lie together having not any strife.
By the virgin void my home serene came on a midnight clear!

Come fish with me in narrow strait beneath arch of heaven’s gate!
Welcome to my Holiday home at this special time of year,
my friends of late let us cleans the slate by dip in narrow strait.
A dip in peaceful river serene clears all the concept’s fear.

Corner stone, concepts rejection the same is heart protected.
Welcome to my Holiday home at this special time of year,
`Tis faith, love material erected, though minds rejected.
Welcome! My eternal Christmas home, of paranormal cheer!

Premium Member Christmas In My Heart

I put up the tree for all to see
although you won't be here with me

The bubble lights are shining bright
I leave them on throughout the night

I decorate with Gold and Red
your favorite colors I think you said

I even placed a dove or two
upon the mantel here for you

I thought we'd share our Christmas dear
instead your there and I am here

The Christmas musics playing low
the fireplace is all a glow

I took and hung some mistletoe
although your kiss I'll never know

I know its over I know were through
I guess I can't help missing you

This Christmas eve when the tree is lit
please think of me a little bit

Although we may be miles apart
I'll celebrate within my heart...

My Saddest Christmas Ever

my saddest christmas ever
has'nt came to be
but in a very few days
it will happen to me

the presents i thought of
will never be bought
the gifts and decorations
have all come to naught

the love i wished to happen
won't happen this christmas day
because the one i loved the most
has sadly passed away

so i have yet to greive
on that wonderful occasion
no one will love me
with such dedication

my heart has need to give
that special kind of love
but with no one to give it to
my heart it seems stopped up

i can only imagin
the fun we would have shared
exchanging our silly presents
showing how much we cared

going out shopping
will be a lonely task
there won't be anyone there
for me to share romance

but still i'll spend this christmas
with her on my mind
i wish she were here
we would have had a good time

so this will surely be
my saddest christmas ever
will my saddness ever leave
my heart keeps saying never

A Wish For Christmas

Oh, I wish you were here on Christmas day
but being miles away, I just miss you today!
Love can become so strange when you're not here,
as I ask the Lord for you to be with me, "dear".

How can we share a love so great in our hearts?
To last forever and never say we'll be apart!
You light up my life when you say "I love you",
and my heart aches and I am feeling so blue!

It's different when you're not talking to me,
a far distance love, do you want to be free?
Please be here for Christmas eve,
up into the sky, you'll fly and leave!

A Christmas Poem For My Wife

“A Christmas Poem For My Wife”

I love and support you until my days are no longer
I will be there with hope and love until we grow stronger

Let us not lose touch with the coming of Jesus and the season
Through all the pain and hurt I will love you until reason

When you put on this ring it was put there for life
And I thank the Lord over and over that He made you my wife

I will be there always even if you push me away
For I see through faith a bright and sunny day

Happy birthday to Jesus He is my life and my guide
Hoping some day in me you will truly confide

So Merry Christmas to you my wife, my Love, my friend
I will Love,Love,Love you until my days come to end

Premium Member Dolly

There was a tree I remember that
Though the house seemed dark I swear.
Father had left us months ago
Now Christmas time was here.

Sister, well, she was only three
and knew not much of presents
I cried for many things that year
one of them loving parents.

On Christmas morning beneath the tree
a special Dolly waited
with joints that moved and eyes of glass
sorrow had abated.

Dolly, well she was an real angel
for she’d brought my Daddy home.
Convinced was I by twinkling eye
and sparkling golden comb.

Magical Dolly with moving hands,
no matter a bit broken,
the token Daddy gave to me
love had truly spoken.

Pleasure-Pain

Once upon a Christmas
We were together
A meeting
A pleasure

Once upon a Christmas
We parted from each other
A parting
A pain

Once upon a Christmas
Two hands held each other
Close to the fire
A pleasure

Once upon a Christmas
Two souls torn from each other
Beyond the cool seas
A pain

Once upon a Christmas
Went for long walks together
In the garden of ecstasy
A pleasure

Once upon a Christmas
Lonely nights away from each other
In a cold house, in a cold bed
A pain

Once upon a Christmas
We’ll again be together
The pleasure and pain
We’ll share with each other.

One Way Love

"Last Christmas I gave you my heart"
a heart so thirsty for your aqua nest,
a nest I thought was just for me
and waited for a nod so many days.

"Used to think that life was sweet"
as sweet as your beautiful face,
a face that soon would smile at me
but in your nest was somebody else.

"If he brings you happiness"
"no, I'll never get the blues"
I am yet to take back my heart
still it is entwined with yours.

"No New Years day to celebrate"
for celebration means you to me,
if you someday give back my heart
along with it,give your heart free.

My Christmas

This Christmas is going to be very special to me,
I have the girl possibly my bride to be.

I refuse to give her nothing but my all,
I love how she throws the snowball.

I love every moment it makes me feel like I can fly,
I will love her till the day I die.

I want to hold her tight,
I want to hold her by my tree with all my might.

I love you so much I feel I can cry this you should know,
Take my hand Larissa Angelica please don’t ever let go.

There’s nothing I want more then Christmas you’re at my door,
You make me so happy you give me something to live for.

I will cry with you I will protect you I will die for you,
It’s Christmas the world is yours that’s what I want to do.

Christmas is usually about gifts, family, & friends,
You are the only one I need as my heart mends.

I always remember what its like to look at your gorgeous smile,
It makes my heart melt & go wild.

I pray which is rare for me,
I pray forever this love will be.

I hate to make wishes & other hopes,
Except this is too special I refuse to be the one who mopes.

I tend to be seen as lost in my faith possibly the end,
Although don’t completely count out it returning once again.

You in my life makes me a believer in some way,
Wearing a cross or Christ head could be today.

It’s scary with the thought of losing my best Christmas gift ever,
On my side the idea of leaving you I say never.

I feel you deep inside I see you & feel great,
Your smile to me is definitely bait.

This year I don’t need to see what’s under the tree with greed,
I already have everything I could ever want & need.

Merry Christmas To Heaven

As we gather around at this time of the year
It makes us wish even more that you were here
We will never grow accustom to life without you
We know that you are peaceful now
Walking streets of gold
Holding hands with the angels
And never growing old
That doesn’t change the void we feel
Opening up the presents
And sitting down for a meal
With each light on the tree that twinkles
We feel that you are close
Wishing we had the time to say that we loved you the most
Now we will share each moment in memory of you
Merry Christmas to Heaven
Merry Christmas to You
