Best Love Sadness Poems
I love you, I love you, I love you
I wanted new wars and adventure. You wanted soft hands in your hands, someone to hold you tightly in the coldness of the lonely night. You were my Scotland beauty attempting to slow down a man who could not learn retreat.
False illusions of perfect life blinded me. I learn too late, I was betrayed by my dreams. I had love and lost her. I would roam to the small lake and whisper. I love you, I love you, I love you. Secret words fleeing into the gentle breezes.
I told the young couple fighting in a tavern at Fort Lewis. The past is lost. You cannot return to where you are, better to hold on to silence and hold on tighter. Sweet woman saw in my eyes. Deep sorrow of things I have done. She thanks me. Young couple found silence and held hands. She told me, thank you Johnnie. Thank you for interrupting us. I love him, I love him, I love him. I would be alone without his embrace. He heard the words and came to her and held his love. I told them.
A hollow heart is a lonely heart. A sorrowful heart is forever. Love is rare. A true gift given and few appreciate till the love is gone and cannot be found. Better to find the things that made you one. Forget the naysayers and forgive the mistakes.
I went to England. I saw the Ivory Coast of England. I told the walls of white. Tell my Scotland beauty. She was my sweetest hours and best days and nights. I love you, I love you, I love you.
The setting sun upon a long life. Old man is thankful for kind woman and memories of a kind woman who told him.
Can’t live for greed, war and self. You must know life isn’t only you. It is what you do good in your life and what you loved.
In Oland, where the wind meets the sea,
A love story once began for you and me.
We walked along the shore hand in hand,
Promised to love each other, never to disband.
Old fate had a different plan heretofore,
As you were called to heaven's door.
My heart shattered into a million pieces,
As I struggled to accept life's unpredictable creases.
The memories of our love still linger on,
The sound of your laughter, warmth and charm.
I close my eyes and see you in my dreams,
Hoping that you hear my silent screams.
The island of Oland where our love bloomed,
Now seems empty, dark and doomed.
Sadly I know that you're watching over me,
A guiding light, a star in the endless sea.
In the stillness of the night, I talk to you,
Whispering sweet nothings, hoping you'll hear them too.
For love knows no boundaries, timeless as the sky
In my heart, my tears will cry, why oh lord, why oh why
So here's to the love we once shared,
A memory that will never be impaired.
In Oland, where the wind meets the sea,
I'll love you now and for eternity.
Violins whisper on warm summer night
Nightingale twitters a song just for me
Lost and alone I have lost my knight
heartbreaking moment I failed to see.
Birds twitter like whispering violins
Melodious moment soothing my mind
Uplifted I spread invisible wings
Violins and birds create heavenly chime.
Sadness resides in heart that is broken
Final goodbye to my beloved one
It seems that the Nightingale has spoken
Violins whisper as my life moves on.
Beautiful thoughts invade suffering heart
Goodbye my love I feel torn apart.

Loneliness Won’t Ever Leave Us Alone
Loneliness strikes at the very heart of what compels us
as human beings as we seek love and hope in this life.
The magic majesty of life is, at once, all-encompassing,
yet overwhelming, at times, in the world of humankind.
Loneliness may signal a loss of love and a loss of hope
that all is not what it should or it could be in one’s life.
Over time, the spirit of loneliness that may haunt each of
us in our lifetime can devolve into anger and disillusion.
Loneliness, at times, cries out loudly in the depths of our
human soul, and coping with it may be too much to endure.
Where there is love and joy, there can still be a degree of
loneliness that bespeaks a sadness and despair deep inside.
In the true essence of one’s life, this utter spirit of loneliness
is the ugly companion that all of us confront as human beings.
Loneliness lurks in the shadows of our minds and lies ever ready
to strike in moments of anger, despair, sadness, and forlorn hope.
A feeling of deep sadness and despair may never say why all the
tenderness and love that our souls possess will survive as we cry.
A river of tears will help us as we search for that special love in
this life whilst we know that loneliness won’t ever leave us alone.

(Couplet)
through this chilly moonlight
as shadowy trees slow dance
while the past slips into sight
you blew in on a winter's day
dark cyclone bringing change
singing me sweet gypsy tunes
words I would not rearrange
silhouettes in a cabin window
sharing this blazing fireplace
your frosty breezes dying out
warmed by love's sweet grace
but,
with a
lobo wolf's urge to roam
you couldn't stay here for long
on nights like this I remember
how I lost you to the
wild wind's
song
I called but you did not answer me,
You spoke a language I did not understand.
I reached for you and we touched fingertips,
Then swiftly you moved away.
I loved you well, you loved me too,
But you could not hear my song.
Softly I sang it from across the room.
You looked into the mirror and saw only your own face,
Lips pulled into a straight line across your square jaw.
We built a dream together brick by brick
But in a while, you didn’t see me, standing there behind the wall.
I called, but when I spoke, you didn’t understand.
The words fell like pebbles tossed into the wind.
I laughed but joy was gone
I cried but you couldn’t see my tears.
Years passed like soldiers on parade.
Too late, too late, I hear them cry.
I speak a language you don’t understand.
I loved you well and love you still,
But in a different way.
Like one might love his crutches or his staff.
Yet I know you will never understand.
For you can not hear me when I call,
chewing
misery
a dagger
in the morsel
jabbed
slash on the heart
an evil thrall
enslaved
my conscience
my mother the morsel
she rebirthed
as the chicken
i just ate

I lay claim.
To the spaces between your
breaths that hang suspended like
dust in summer glare.
I lay claim.
To the corners ignored, in which
your shadow glides beyond my
feeble reach.
I lay claim.
To the fading spike of your laugh
that leads me through our closed,
unbuilt days.
I lay claim.
To the scraps of us that now stick
and flutter on winter roads that once
stretched for miles.
I lay claim.
To our solid silences that welded blood
to shape, and sewed adoration to final,
absolute pledge.
I lay claim.
To the story written, the history lived and
the dreams that will all be swallowed
whole.
I lay claim.
To these characters, these pages, these
canyons between our lines that carry our
wonderous, dying years.
Ok. I know you
Don't see me the
Way I see you.
But don't you know when
Your sad it makes me sad too.
And when your happy
it makes me glad.
Watching you
Fight through your
Anger issues I wish
Every time that I
could hold You through.
And darlin don't you
Know when there's
Light in your eyes
It drives the darkness
Far from mine.
I know I shouldn't feel this
Way but the feelings
I have for you are
To deep to escape and
Because I'm always
In the shadows Im
Sorry but you'll never
Know... My hearts to
Bruised to let it go.
A hundred sun's
A thousand tears
10 000 of hope
100,000 loves have passed me by
A hundred times I've sang a song
Of sadness, sorrow and regret
For the loves of mine
I've never kept
For a thousand miles
And across the seas of time
I've long since traveled to the end of life
And rhyme
So when will i be free
To have my love i dream
When will my tears stop their falling.
I've sang the song of chaos long
And hoped that one day that may change
But my lot in life has never been my choice
I've long since been in this world
Where all things don't make sense
The strongest house is made up strong
But the slightest breeze it falls
A house is only strong
When we work as one
The demons voice has oft seduced
My wayward heart with dreams of fantasy
Where is my path gone?
Where will I end up
My path it branches in many ways
Will I ever find my place?
Will I ever be free to love
with one who loves divine.
The five fifty nine bus
went roaming by
on route number nine.
Were you on it
I wonder
are you headed
for Toms River terminal
with guilt on your mind
or does the man your meeting
mean more then tears?
The bus has surely reached
West Creek by now
picking up passengers
on the way. Baleful
how like takes
its twist and turns-
steals the soul
away from another
The Holly bush, the sycamore
tree, the Rhododendron
stay steadfastly the same.
it is we who have changed
like the seasons.I am left
with sparse reasons to hope
except that the
five fifty nine
will return you tonight.
As they walked together, missing her, the daughter asked the dad
“How can the sunrise be so beautiful when I’m feeling so sad?”
How can I find beauty anywhere…in the trees, the birds…the butterflies
when everything is blurry…when tears fill up my eyes?”
“when my world has lost its color…when everything is grey…
when nothing that I see or hear makes my sadness go away?
“This sadness we are feeling,” Dad said…
there is no remedy…
no cure
but the trees, the birds, the butterflies and the sunrise
make it easier to endure.”
We cannot stop sadness from reaching into our lives…
but eventually we learn
If we have love, sunrises and butterflies
our happiness returns.
Her dad is no longer with her
and when she feels sad she smiles as she closes her eyes …
and she thinks of walking with him in the morning…
of sunrises
and butterflies.
A love gone wrong
What went wrong between us? Can you tell me?
I tried to be all you wanted , but you didn't want to see.
I couldn't be myself with you and you didn't even know .
You would say things that hurt me, I didn't let it show.
I kept my feelings to myself, you didn't seem to care.
You didn't even notice that I was even there.
I knew there was something wrong, but I didn't know what it could be.
But now that it is over , I see things differently.
I didn't really know you and you didn't love me.
The angel is gone
she went away
will she return
again some day?
Verse rang true
touched my heart
lady grace right
from the start.
Penned and painted
such loveliness
her impressions of
life I do miss.
She kept me glad
and full of glee
the love has gone
with her poetry.
But still I hear
her gentle sighs
they whisper through
the darkened skies.
The angel has gone
she went away
I hope she returns
to me some day.
