A lonely bard can paint and write more songs,
Which birds loftily warble all day long,
Every note taps the heart of each flower,
Sprinkles dew drops while silent wind meanders.

Her ballad - a gem of all creations,
A home, hollowed not with admiration,
Chasm within draws perfect harmony
For stars to play a perfect symphony.

With knowledge and love, ink surges so deep,
The feather outshines the wind on its tip,
Lifting up dry leaves lying underneath
Every tale is treasured by golden sheath.

Lonely bard pens the lyrics of our hearts,
Where weary souls can find their road to start.

“I am a lonely bard
I have no song to sing.
This empty ballad is my home.
A feather against the dying wind-
-my only expression.”

-by my dearest sis, Poet Destroyer from her poem, “Umbrella”

Note:

This poem is a loving dedication/ homage to my all time greatest & most favourite poet, my loving sis & friend of mine & my number 1 inspiration.

In a mountain valley
on a moody summer day
dark pink and purple clouds loftily hang
above dense dark evergreens
the clouds reflect on the narrow stream
as it winds along the valley floor
a storm is about to brew
swaying of bull rushes
that line the bank edges
among this thick foliage
delicate blue flowers bloom
this wide picturesque valley
has become a boggy area
filled with unknown dangers
no one would dare to thread
beautiful to look at
but like the coming storm
many dangers can unfold.

Premium Member Sonorous Sound

into the clouds
my spirit
flew up high
and then flew
downward fast
and faster
into blue
alabaster

a troubadour of song renown
followed it the way down
happy when both were met
the melodious duo
sang the song my spirit
loftily sought and found
together spread the word
God is Love in sonorous sound

Premium Member Driving in the Snow with One Windshield Wiper

Diagonal snow
Glides effortless through
the countryside of the
Amputee windshield
For the passenger side
Has always had a reticent view

Steam rises loftily
From a topless treat
Of gas station coffee
That which further
Obfuscates the scene

Mousey and silent
Each flake falls
Like the wings of
An owl unhurried
Speckling the air
With flurries of tiny
Feathers

If snow is a blanket, is the
Earth a frightened child?
Is there a force, a specter
So haunting it summons
A crystal storm that beguiles,
Sure, a burden to some
But a spectacle for all.

High beams undress
The night, slipping away
Its silken onyx sundress
In its unblinking gaze I
Recall conversations with
Someone I no longer see
Hoping for fireplace romance
Surrounded in snow globe scenery

I try not to live
in the squall of regret
Even if every drop
Falls so softly, I must
Simply keep my foot
On the petal, and listen
To the engine’s counsel
Its kind whispering pistons.

Be Positive

Putrid pus proliferates/purposely preventing
progression's passionate plea -
stifled cries...

Always ascending...and, assiduously avoiding
any acrimonious amounts accrued along apathetic
apertures..."Still I Rise!"

Incessantly fighting the urge to just drop
out of this rancid Rat Race we call living

Still, to abandon sanguine thoughts totally topples the
tenacious toughness that took time to temper...never stop giving

Enervated entities economically embattled

Man, each day we face trouble/In every Third World A Struggle -
singed and burned I'm like stubble/but, like The Ashes Of The Phoenix
to Resurrect from this rubble

Sometimes I shift towards arrogance; The Good Lord Keeps
me humble

Lifting languid limbs loftily to overcome this present Flood

Be Positive is my motto, the flip side?
It's my Blood...

Lazy Leader

Exorbitant-

extortionist,

self-orient-

red-royalties with,

oil based rents...

Ten-tentacle dresses,

head-level-leftover-ness.

"Instead of shedz we're getting into the mess,"

the fled are those who made precautions press,

loftily next.

Bounties of Nature

Every morning as the sun rises,
So rise the spirits of man-kind
Every time a bud blossoms
So bloom the hopes of defeated mind
Every bend across which the river flows
Shows paths and ways to explore
Every lovely tune that the bird sings
Voice the inner feelings of lonely mind
Every time a bird flies and kisses the skies
Gives wings to those who imagine
Every night as stars shine and moon rises
Loftily rise the dreams of human mind
Rising spirits, dreams and hopes galore
Are the real bounties of nature

Premium Member Deep Soft Trickles

Softly touching deep cords vibrate within,
The song within my heart with golden notes begin.

As sadness flows trickling In Cello magic,
Soul's storm It Is flowing In Violin tragic.

Like a river babbling wild free,
The heart has no bounds where Love has to be.

Sweet dancing upon ripples of air,
A waltz In the clouds with dream's lady so fair.

Flowing Into an open ocean's waves,
Upon your golden heart your dream Love engraves.

Singing echoes haunting our world,
Dream's memories before us unfurled.

Rising salted emotions suffering powerless,
Sadness grows and the heart loses Its prowess.

Baited breaths shawled deep held Inside tears,
Cold Ice cube memories brittle Icing fears.

Floating breeze fluttering gently,
Touching desires In Love's flame diligently.

Touching each string cries out,
What tunes shall these strings shout.

A songbirds lament,
In grief It Is sent.

A piano speaks so softly,
As Its keys play music loftily.

Telling one story In tune,
That shall ever be told before moon.

How sweet your beautiful words sung deeply,
How they did touch my tender heart completely.

All Encompassing

It was a romantic endeavor
this quest for vaporous ridges,
as an adventurous spirit crested
already reaching dizzying altitudes,
short of vital breath & intensely high,
yet, there was no returning as the
summit was a mere birds-eye view,
it was the last chance to achieve
brass ring elevations mid skies'
survival beyond boundless frontiers,
towering strength and determination
overcoming fears whilst lack of oxygen
was a matter of achieve/die, win/be buried
ultimate goal was furthermost zenith, 'til
Mt Everest in its infinite nature took grasp of
life and climber's deathly eminent boundaries,
while its unreckonable power commanded an
unsurmountable frigid avalanche 'neath violent deadlocks,
encasing tombs of unfulfilled loftily dreamt expeditions

Ah Margarita

Dark waterfall of soft strands
Playing in the air, loftily....
Dark hollows piercing my heart
White shine-brighter than the sun...
Caricature of the milkiest dye
Rosiest ambrosias, sweet nor'westers....
Angelic face, love supreme
Eve's grace and a hue in cream...
Floating enigma of delight
Captivating perfume of silky nethers....
Encumbering all other damsels
Fairest pearl of the night sky
Outshining the heavens who sculpted her
That is Margarita................
A soul without words
A despair without losses
A bride without the pain
A momentary ray of hope
The sunshine of the day
A melody of mystical times
Margarita is that.............
Masterpiece of my brush
Reflection of my demeanour
Melody of my seasons
That is Margarita...........

Think Loftily

Smartest of men, Einstein; frequently
thinks long hours on relativity.
Forgets his umbrella;
even keys, poor fella.
So, don't be mad I think loftily.

Femininity Unbounded

By Stanley Collymore

If words are the trumpets of the mind and the
eyes the telescope of the heart could it be
that silent thoughts, transmitted yet not
openly disclosed, are the engine to
provide the start of what we
hope to find?

Like an elegant goddess borne loftily
on the stalwart wings of chance
you swept in unexpectedly
but oh so majestically
in a unique, feminine
ballet de dance –
your welcomed presence creating a
charming and exciting situation
replete with its own magical
and tempting expectations.

Premium Member Suburban Saturday

It's Saturday in suburbia U.S.A.
Lawn mowers buzzing, chores underway

Planting and pruning, nourishing flowers that will bloom
To announce and brighten the month of June

Contented cats perch on fences high
Loftily appraising the collared dogs led by

To the dogpark, filled with Frisbees and tennis balls
A meelee of fur, a Fido free-for-all!

Teenagers holding signs - for a small fee, to support their JROTC
They will clean your cars - from grimy to shiny!

Kids on bikes and boards fly down the steep hill
Heedless of danger - transported by thrill

Farmer's markets - trendy veggies and jams, artisanal pleasure
Yard sales - for pennies on the dollar, you could discover treasure

At the local high school field, the softball game starts
Everyone participates - everyone plays their part

As evening folds in, grills are fired up
Smokey meat smells waft by - time to sup!

In suburbia U.S.A
It's just another Saturday

Premium Member Pieces of Alliteration

Flying high on the forty fourth plain
Figuratively free flying
Wings in the air.

Bought the ticket today taking the
Ten to ten in twenty two hours
Time is ticking to that thrilling

Destination Tahiti
Tickling to test the thirst
Touching the tentative torch.

Threatening traffic as the plain takes off.
Super structured systems to take
Special entrance exams is essential.

Aren't articulated articles apparent while
We were watching what was widespread
Watch the skies.

Pertaining to perpetual particulars like
Learning to live luckier and lazing loftily
Was watching movie minding making
Mirrors more a word of sound to mime.

Exposed its mind
All or nothing now is the time to tackle
The RHYME

Teaching signs that's been taught before.
Pick it up from the floor.
One two three four

Counting climbing combining
Estimation escalation.
Do it did it DONE it
Again let's win

Take it turn it toss it
Task is transform it
Twirl it turn it
Task is as is

TRANSFORM IT

*** Trees ***

With or without their leaves,
Call out to me
Especially with a spiritual mystery
That amplifies as I investigate
And admire the vast variety
Of their beauty —
Borne in the costumes
   of their diversity —
Their created, sweeping beauty:

From some with innumerous twigs
   shooting straight, clean
Lines — arrows up into the blue;
To others with gnarly branches clearly
Dancing out from trunks— curving freely;
From those with tops rounded completely;
To others forming spiked, rotated V’s,
Like wearing upside-down crinolines,
   appearing truly
Wind-tossed so loftily
As to hide their heads,
   their crowned peaks;
And,not to be forgotten,
All the evergreens, exquisitely
Full and tall, proud to be seen.
They keep travels looking lush
   throughout every
Season, giving a symmetry
To what we see —
From bright to deep,
From city to country —
Over the rolling landscape scenes
Surrounding us where each
Tree stands growing high
Humming a kind of reverie
They, perhaps, want us to glean
Someday as friends in a sharing reality.
