Best Locomotion Poems
Yes, love the salty ocean rocky shore,
and gaze at endless blue waves in motion;
with a restless and merciless loud roar,
I adore the wild salty ocean shore.
Waves crashing upon rocks with emotion,
all its foamy frothy saltiness pour;
with birds calling for a great commotion,
yes, love the salty ocean rocky shore.
The waves come for a countless wet encore,
the sound a loud moving locomotion;
while I stand on the rocks wanting more, more,
and gaze at endless blue waves in motion.
Visiting each day with huge devotion,
with salt on my lips I walk and explore;
waves whisper me a harmony woven,
with a restless and merciless loud roar.
In the blue sky ocean birds scream and soar,
sitting with pen finding words unspoken;
oh will not tire of it evermore,
I adore the wild salty ocean shore.
Yes, love the salty ocean . . .

First Place
Law began by living,
locomotion meeting the rails of electric rainfall,
Consequence coursing through interconnected crossbeams
making all form fruit of the first & final recipe,
one great statute spawned from the storm
billowing from Divinity's genius,
everything in the Universe existing to produce,
get busy, get bounce'n, grow wild & now,
receive with wisdom and take as thieves humbled by offering,
the original impulse from a manic God
pregnant from androgonous purpose,
a trillion movements in a single start, a fanatic for feral smarts,
stagnation anethema to the spectacular suspense of survival,
Natural Rights were for me
the moment my blood became mine, became a wet warlord
exerting presence in the wide open wrestle of Universe,
God the shadow & weight of my spark,
the window & scene of my good gumption, of my dusty dream,
self defense a mandate from the magistrate of my heritage,
freedom of expression an obligation humming from ancestors'
anniverseries applauded along the Appain Way headed
not towards Rome but forward to a higher home of honor,
a Law unto myself I am,
eating from the spines of lions,
sleeping atop pyramids built by a billion bones unbroken by battle,
afternoons auction affection for my amusement with discount
and the nights nudge nightmares asunder
with the release of red lightning
spelling the name of Creation in raw neon, breathtaking breakdown,
a script scribbled by a hand having the blueprint of dirt in it's fingernails,
I appeal to Adam, attest in favor of aggression's willpower,
to Eve I beseech, testify to the severity & sanction of self confidence,
let us smash all false law that stands as a wall to our fulfillment,
smack the eggshell of Man's authoritarian angst,
waking into a world of wakeful worries, confined by Common Law, U.C.C.,
walking through waves ment to wreck the arrogant
with a constitution inked by nerves electrified
by entertaining the urgency of a rampaging God,
thought of the great expanse thumping thoroughly through
the expeditions my expectations encounter,
black static undulating around the blue bulb of my brain,
sparks of ultimate consciousness mothering marks of miracles
in the becoming of birthright,

As the wind continue to sway,
We hurt from the inside but the outside can't lay.
Where there is a will there is a way,
But writing a will is a perspective for it seems as the day
Where to each other we have to bid goodbye in a tough say
For we stand too young to die.
When we sight darkness at the end of the tunnel of light
When we stand to condemn that which was upright
When we gather to critize the upright
When,, ,,,even the taboos gets afraid of the night,
My heart sinks for in my heart I sight;
We stand too young to die.
When proportion, emotion, corruption has no contention
Where morality is a cultural notion
Trending economic activity is corruption
The age is not a barrier to 'sips and tastes of death' consumption
And still stand and claim to be a nation
To the end of our race is where we are driven by our locomotion
I still feel,we are too young to die.
I am not planning to be a missionary
For the words I preach were erased from their dictionary
But,
I can't stop to lament
The bitter truth to accept
For we are too young to die
The mistake committed not known to them
On the suffering grid they stand at the helm
Their bridge to the success, sit content in agony overwhelm
And the teachers ,custodians of our culture, sit under the elm
Waiting for the last breath to be their help
For them to fill after life home,
For they know we are too young to die
As the sun set,
They eagerly await to their spirits free let
If I guessed, I would win the bet
For the length of night don't stop the morning light
Where my paper and pen will be my armor at the night
For we stand too young to die.
My days filled with your inspiration
Anticipating our love vibration
That makes my heart start racing
Chasing our dreams with all this sensation
Of our feelings that have come unmasked
Trying to keep our lives on task
Moving forward not able to really grasp
How our love outlasted
What our hearts are telling us so fast
Knowing, whatever happens, will be a blast
from our feelings attached to the past
Believing they were safe to hide
Testing time farther then we can glide
while we deal with life's emotional ride
Asking the good Lord to carry us to the other side
Trying to deal with our passion we just let slide
With all these emotions stuck on high
Our memories very much Alive
Tucked away so deep inside
That has our thoughts all tied up in knots
Finding loves potion
That puts our hearts into full motion
Giving us both this up close notion
Created from our sincere devotion
Has outlasted many things that have come to pass
Holding onto the love that we won't surpass
Our secrets, we carry so real inside
Taking this locomotion on an amazing ride
That allows our friendship to fly
Up in the sky reflecting on high
When our spirits ignite taking flight
To secure all these moments that have been so right
Might have seemed so far out of sight
What we have been missing night after night
Knowing you are my sunlight
That keeps my world so bright
Making our wait so worth the fight
Keeping us both moving forward upright
With our love that we ignite
Every moment with you so full of light
That carries us into the limelight
Inviting our words we recite
On any given day that just takes us away
Where we can sway like it was yesterday
Making it impossible to just let it all lay
Knowing you are in my heart to stay
Keeping our love in play
I wouldn't have it any other way
Today's Sounds
Music rolls off the banjo, bluegrass
Active cheery sound, gland it’s around,
Folk music in little town passed down by word of mouth;
Family remembers and other people too, and songs abound.
Symphony sounds dynamic notes through the grand hall,
Aria Nessun Dorma rapturous great joy emotion,
Opera transports to a lofty feeling, heavenly classical,
Piano music and classical guitar uplifting feeling locomotion.
Listen, echoing 14th century chant cathedral music,
Hymn captivating, baroque music alive to this day,
History’s not historical, it’s not even past; and organ rolls on,
Waltz smoothly wafts across the air through the dance hall bay.
Ice cream parlor music cheerful tunes with hot fudge sundae,
Oldies music reminiscence rock ‘n’ roll, jazz, country and western feeling,
Big band dance music, rhythm and blues, brass band thrill,
Gospel music, spirituals, and blues, highland healing.
Motion picture music score jumps high fidelity positive
Enjoyment, touching stereo button to instrumental music roll,
Relax in the day, easy listening music comfortable rest,
Sound waves motions ear drums, people listen alive soul.
On a planetoid in our galaxy
lives a being of illumination;
spinning stardust from her palms,
in colored chromatic ecstasy.
Like ribbons flowing from her hands
that whip and whirl in lunar-play;
she crafts rainbows in motion,
electric neon swirling bands.
Brilliant cascade of locomotion
bobbing lights in outer space;
look up to the heavens in wonder
at her bright harmonic ocean.

Beyond the horizon
they rolled in rippling
the clouds majestic
flamboyant and spectacular
A gentle rumbling motion
putting on a show
tumbling with grandeur
in splendor blues and hues
Sweeping across the skies
undulating swirls and spirals
flowing shifts and layers
waves of billowy locomotion

The chitinous mechanics
of head, thorax, and abdomen,
clicking exoskeletons,
the chirring of dry whispers.
We admire the purposeful
simplicity of the heedless.
Houses crumble as evidence.
Trees rot and give witness.
Caves crawl
with their evidential passing -
they command the locomotion and menu,
of the inevitable.
We who must be consumed,
know that as prey we are not too large,
and so, we lumber on as elephants will,
on their way
to long prepared graveyards.
Whining wailers never know when,
opportune moments ever begin.
An angry man hath his eyes closed,
not a bit of triumph ever he knows.
I smile and nod my gratitude,
to vets in wheelchairs "in their fortitude"
down syndrome children‘s, little aptitude,
courage, in the plight of such magnitudes.
Gratitude begets beatitudes.
Gratefully I recharge my attitude.
I smile when in conflict, I am stewed,
a notion of locomotion, in attitude.
I smile and rejoice in summer’s breeze.
I drink noble coffee in a winter’s freeze.
My conscience is clear I am at peace,
watching each fall the geese fly east.
Gratitude begets these beatitudes.
in diligence, I secure my attitude.
In smiles each day my life is renewed,
by love’s theory of moving subdued.
I praise in amaze on a rainy day,
every mud puddle in which children play,
I love their laughter and frolic, quite gay.
"Gratitude doth beget it's master’s pay."
My life seems to last forever now that I’ve start aging
The sudden onset aches and pains start engaging
My home is in a theme park petting zoo where other animals live and rest
Each day zoo attendants feed, water, and groom us to look our best for our guests
These little creatures called Children come into the petting zoo
With the sounds of ooohs, aaahs of surprise as they walk through
Sheep, goats, rabbits, to feed and interact physically with safety
Some of these little creatures try to chase me, some of us get shaky
A tall creature with a long mane and forelock yells, “Wait a minute baby!”
Is this tall creature going to save me?
A young pony, a true friend is 7 hands at the wither not as tall as me
Wearing a blanket and saddle for a rider to sit, and bridle to guide in safety
Zoo attendants teach the proper ways to handle animals
while brushing my forelock, poll, croup, and withers
They lift my gaskin the area behind my leg between the stifle and hock pointing to my fetlock explaining that is actually more like the ball of the foot on a human
Naming my coronet where it meets my hoof down to my frog; a highly elastic wedge-shaped mass on the underside of the hoof and supports both locomotion and circulation
When all is done the attendant extending a hand placing a treat close to my muzzle treating us with love and kindness, as we bubble full of admiration

With acrobatic locomotion
hovering high above the ocean
the kingfisher hangs ready in the sky
to pounce upon his potential prey
waiting just below the waves
by releasing all his thrust
into a dive.
Splashing through the salty blue
foamy surface matter
catching what he came to find
as schools of moonfish scatter
in all directions near and far
down in their watery grave
the kingfisher rises out of this world
for which he was perfectly made...
A mesmerizing, tantalizing
example of nature's best
colorful flyer moving up higher
near barely a moment of rest.
Providing we humans with so little acumen
for noticing much at all
including the sounds they make all around
before their final free-fall.
Down
once again where a fish is no friend
and waves are made to be breeched
from blue velvet skies
the kingfisher flies
where no other bird or human can
reach.
The delayed train rolled into the train station
A single coach would carry their consternation!
The London underground maze
Hurried into the rat race craze
The engineer forgot the rest of his locomotion!
L&H Limericks - Contest
I have the shape of the institution.
Each email address is a human.
They are known by their words and actions.
The whole wide world is just a fraction
of all I do not know. Expansion
and contraction, breathe in, out, meditation
on existence, non-existence, creation
and duration. I have no explanation
for fusion, fission, taxonomic relations
or artificial classification.
More I do not know: locomotion
by combustion, electron separation
and transportation via superconduction
which supports the idea of the unified nation.
What girls are like behind their eyes. Masturbation
a useful restraint on overpopulation.
The story of a life, my life, any life, cohesion
must be rationed, conjured, a fiction
about a vexed, tenacious town, its rail station
truck stop, high school, night spots, recreations
the temporary citizens enact visions
dream-like orations, ballets, conflagrations
to in the end receive in annals honorable mention
from family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, institutions.
Emotions so fervent, the mind of the dedicated
With a path so rough he wonders how he tolerates it
But he keeps moving with a steady locomotion
Through stormy valleys and turbulent oceans
Once or twice, he may have hesitated
But his reasons weren't languid, unsated
He looked around at his life
Tempestuous eyes making sure his is path right
He stumbles forward though dark unstable passageways
Always facing his goal, vehement not to turn away
He's like a strong tower, beaten but still standing
No one knows when it'll fall or where it would be landing
He's not too proud to tell you that he never cries
But it's a desperate situation when tears leave his eyes
Usually involving the loss of something vital in his life
But with a kings golden spirit he makes that sacrifice
He reaches his goal, basked in satin moonlight
He kept moving, kept the finish line in sight
And at last he can sit on his throne
Smiling because people that told him he wasn't going to make it...were wrong
