Whats in a name
As i look on the soup
From various backgrounds
And various nooks
English, Hispanic
French too
How did we get the names
Of me and you
What do they mean
What do they say
After all
Their with us everyday
Mac the son of
MacDonald the name
As all the clans
Use the same frame
Mr Smith of Anvil fame
Mr Miller of flour, grain
Histories past
Honed our names
All of our names are nice in their way
All have History, all have their say
One name on here i like for sure
Its the amazing name
" Kristy De La Keur "
She is a loving mother,
her pain is like no other.
Kids taken all at once away.
A price too steep to have to pay.
Holds her head up high,
when all she wants to do is die.
She thinks her pain is masked,
but as you see, its no easy task.
She's strong and still fights,
even when they say she has no rights.
She dreams of seeing her kids,
trying hard to keep the pain hid.
She goes to court and really fights,
only to come home alone and cry at night.
Still, she continues this uphill battle.
Her confidence, they constantly rattle.
Goes to work and tries to smile,
as her heart is breaking all the while.
Wish I was a much better sister,
who called and let her know I missed her.
I had my own tumultuous issues,
it was she who really needed the tissues.
I just had a crappy, low life man.
By her side her family should stand.
Instead they all give her grief.
Do they not see her pain will never be brief?
No, they all say they are sorry, but they're full of lies.
Didn't they know it was her LIFE in demise?
A better sister, I'll try to be.
Her back she never turned to me.
I hope she knows she's loved and cared for.
Her smile I'd like to see more.
I know that's no easy task.
But that I will still ask.
As they push her to the brink,
She's stronger than she ever thinks.
A combined effort for Kristy.....
We sisters three
Do so decree
That these men
Know their sin.
Reaz, you mortal Fool
Illy was your sacred Jewel.
How could you endlessly cheat
And lead her on with such deceit?
We sisters three
Do so eloquently decree
That these foolish men
Never ever hurt again.
Lamar you are a lazy bum.
To crack you always succumb.
Leerie was a wonderful wife
Yet, your words wound like a knife.
We sisters three
Do so powerfully decree
That these thoughtless men
Feel agonizing pain within.
Daniel the monster you are
Never saw Kristy as a star.
She was just someone to beat
Whenever you felt other defeat,
We sisters three
Do so expressly decree
These imprudent mortal fools
Learn a new set of rules.
We rhythmically dance and sway
While words of ancient knowledge do play
Powerfully upon our very lips
During the Lunar Eclipse.
Our wish we do so prayerfully want
Your dreams we shall constantly haunt
Until you learn that your evil deeds
Will never ever fruitfully succeed.
I see the shadow on the wall,
my breath catches and hope falls.
He has found me I do despair,
The Axeman is standing there.
Hiding in the house all day,
waiting for the return of his prey.
In the pantry watching through the door,
night is all he waits for.
Silently he makes his way through the house,
silent as a deadly mouse.
Started with dad and mom in the bed,
I silently cry as they are dead.
My sleeping sisters and brother,
without their heads I did discover.
My visiting friends he also found,
he killed them too with a squishing sound.
If only the drifting Reverend did not stop,
invited for breakfast by my pop.
My family could have been saved,
now our future is a lonely grave.
He moves in for the kill,
swings his axe with lots of skill.
The flash of steel as all I see,
slumps to the floor is all that's left of me.
The wind blows through Villisca this cold night,
my family died without a fight.
A small and quiet town,
in the night our screams did drown.
Poked by aleera I did jump,
telling the true story that in the night goes bump.
I see the shadow of Kristy De La Keur,
Now her story you'll get to incur.
Thanks to John Loving III and the Haunting Poets,
the true story of the Villisca axe murders you do know it.
Sad the tragedy is too true,
not a fictional killer to go BOO!

The first time that I was serious
“I would be a good boy now”
My mom said “Non-sense! You never can
Go out and get yourself a sun-tan”
I left that idea for ever
My mom still repents for being so clever!!
And then I was genuine when I said
“From tomorrow I will start studying”
My esteemed teacher said “Non-sense!
Oh you, I know you are joking”
I gave up studying all together
My teacher still wonders why I took her so seriously rather!!
I was adamant when I followed my aim
“I just want to become that”
My father got in between “Non-sense!
For you its better never than late”
So I gave up doing anything at all
He is still sorry for being the reason of my fall!!
I was darn sure when I said
“That’s the horse that will win the race”
My wealthy uncle quipped “Non-sense!
Such waste decisions, tragedy you will face”
Unfortunately that horse went for the kill
And, I of course, was thrown out of his will!!
I was confident when I said
“It’s you whom I would love to marry, cool”
But my sweetheart said “Non-sense!
I just wanted you to pay the bill, you fool”
Sadly enough, her husband died in a year
She still repents – I would have lived longer without fear!!
I knew it when I declared
“It’s going to be a daughter”
But my mother-in-law shouted “Non-sense!
It’s a son who will bring laughter”
But when Angela was born to see
She came with a foot-ball “She would have enjoyed being a male like me!!”
On Angela’s marriage I said
“It’s definitely not a good match”
Angela scolded me “Non-sense dad!
He is a pass-out from a Harvard batch”
He spent all his life in his office
My dear girl wondered if life can get that rubbish!!
On the day the doctors declared me sick
“I will no longer live, Kristy, that’s fate”
All my friends gasped “Non-sense!
For God’s sake, don’t tell that”
The day I died, slow and brave
No one followed my wife to the grave!!
Fantastically as I climbed the slopes of heaven
“Oh! What a busy life was it!!”
God cheerfully said “Non-sense!
You were a moron without wit”
But when I started doing things in heaven
Even He admitted “If this is how you work in mirth,
Thank God!! (oops) you did nothing on earth!!”
"the faint melody of her heart, whispers the soft cadence of her soul." ~ Kristy Waltan
There's a rhythm to my words,
A cadence to my thoughts,
Like the song of the birds,
Music connects all dots,
There's a flow to my verse,
A tempo to my song,
Like musings that traverse
this world in a beat strong,
There's a lilt to my voice,
An accent as I speak,
Like a stranger has choice
'tween metre and mystique,
There's an inflection here,
An intonation sweet,
Like a melody clear,
A canticle complete.

Julie was going south on me
It was too tempting
For her can’t ya see?
It happened slowly
When I was lonely
Relaxin in my bed
The curtains were drawn
And the lights were dim
I pushed my marbles off to the side of the bed
A soft tune was playing
Harmoniously
Mouth wide open she came to me
CHORUS
Cause it was in my head
I imagined the Queen of the bed
I was desperately
Seeking the bees knees
And when I came to
My hands were filled with goo
I wiped the tears from my eyes
And washed away the imaginary lies
Kristy was the sweetest thing
She got up, to fix me some grub
But when I rolled back over again
I could hear the sound of my tub
She drew me in with that imaginary wink
I braced myself against the sink
She went south too, head first with no hands
I was truly the happiest man
Samantha and the others never lied to me
Hell, they didn’t speak that well
In my head I’ve come to find out
That there’s no kiss and tell

The day that I have prayed for,
Has finally come true.
For I am now and forever more,
NO longer married to you.
Over are the days of running scared,
And hiding out of fear.
My head is high and shoulders squared,
Inside and out I constantly cheer.
No more bruises of black and blue.
No more tears will be shed.
The divorce took the years of two
It is if we were never had wed.
No more angst and strife.
No more lies and alibis.
I am no longer your wife.
This leads to my last surprise.
The surname of Shipp which I despise,
Is gone and now for sure,
I here and now arise
Officially forever I am a De La Keur.

Destination
A historical place
But these Gettysburg landings
A place of race
The signals our droids
To the Kestrels they return
For their cargo on board
To them will be, infinitive burn
Over Pennsylvanian lands
These USAF ships fly
To rid these demons
From you and i
Gettysburg in approach
Their radar responds
Three sisters located
For the earth and beyond
Kristy Krull
On McPherson's ridge
Leaving her carnage
Ending life's bridge
Illyanna
The deposed leader
For her past theatre's
No longer evils creator
Apocalypse Ale-era
Their new Queen
Serving in her evil
Earth's hell Halloween
The Kestrels close in
Illyanna is first
As their missile strikes home
In obliteration burst
Pilots cheer
In their intercom
Freedom prevails
United at home
The next attack
Kristy's caught on the ridge
Again we hit
Her body to fridge
But the Queen is our target
As it has to be
To rid her dominance
Free the land of the free
Radar declares
Her might, but distress
For three Kestrels have named
Freedoms Gettysburg address
In pincer movement
Like theatres before
Three missiles strike
Like never before
Their impacts are different
But their outcomes the same
To free our planet
And return to the sane
Miracles will happen
The water from Lourdes
Led to the demise of these three
Our planet to be cured
For many days and months
Around the table they sat
No longer saying
We'll do this, we'll do that
The structure of talks
Began round the world
Everyone listened
None absurd

I'm in the house all alone.
(She is no where near alone in this house.)
I hear the ringing of the phone.
(And believe me its not just a mere mouse.)
I answer, but oddly there is no one there.
(Not even a dial tone, will she hear on the line.)
I think this is more than the average scare.
(When this is over, not even her body, they'll find.)
I hang up and turn around, eyes open wide.
(My decaying corpse I shall let her see.)
I realize suddenly I'm trapped inside.
(Tell whomever you want, but no one will believe.)
Even though I'm locked inside, I still try to flee.
(I slam the door, there is no escape here!)
Oh why, oh why won't this ghost let me free?
(Oh how I love the smell of her fear!)
Oh Lord I wish I could take back that night.
(She should never have been drinking.)
When I ran her down in drunken delight.
(What was wrong with her, what was she thinking?)
I got out of the car to see what I had hit.
(I lay on the road a crumpled heap.)
In my stupor I pick her up so I can take her to a fresh dug pit.
(She throws me carelessly in the back of her Jeep.)
I now see for the wrong I've done I MUST make amend.
(Breathing hard with sweat beading on her forehead.)
I grab my chest as my life suddenly comes to an end.
(Eye for an eye we're even now that she too, is dead.)

Al-Khahili, You both are next!
I am so many many things
So much to me life doth brings.
I am up and down, happy, sad
I am torn, solid, I am good and bad.
I have been through so many trials
It is a wonder that my face still smiles.
I am a sister and a few peoples friend
I fight for all I love to the bitter end.
I am daughter and a mother
I am all, not just one or the other.
For all my loved ones I will fight
With all I have for what is so right.
Win, lose, or even a draw
I still love them no matter the flaw.
I may sometimes seem I do not care
But believe me I am always there.
I care for all but some days I
Just need not to be asked why
I am not talking to any one
There is no reason, no none.
But there are days when I
Am always stopping by
Just to check on you
And to say" I love you"
I am a unique southern belle
Who knows just how to yell
And who finds a new calling
That others find appalling.
I am fire and I am ice
I am naughty and am nice
But one thing is for sure
I am none other than Kristy De la Keur.
When you were born, I did not know what to do,
You see, I was only just the age of two.
Wherever I went, so did you
You see, we were stuck together like glue.
Then as we grew up, we started drifting apart.
Yet, you see, you were always in my heart.
If I knew what was meant by those mean boys would impart.
They would no longer have a mouthpart.
As adults, we do not always agree.
However, you mean the world to me.
We lost one sister, something no one could foresee.
Grief brought us back together and we set our squabbles free.
Know that no matter what,
We will always follow our gut,
We will never believe the scuttlebutt
That we are told, we will allow the world to shut.
Aleera, you are my sister now and forever,
And these new bonds I do not want to sever.
I will always be here for you whenever,
And these horrible storms we shall, together, weather.
