Premium Member Acquisition of Mortal Knowledge

For the nonce, living soul,

you will breathe in new lessons through our tender tethering

as your seeking thirst is slaked through your skin;

for life's osmosis seeps mortal knowledge not implanted at conception.

*An excerpt from: Odyssey Of A Soul; written June 8, 2018*

The Window

My thoughts today, take me to the window
Yes not those made of glass are of concern
Windows made of words are in my focus
What better way is there for one to learn

The secrets of the universe inside us
A writer can reveal such inner thought
The character of soul with pen, laid bare
With each new line of candor that is sought

A voyeur may find intrigue peeking so
Yet those who write do freely offer page
Their windows open for the world to see
Emotions shared on such a splendid stage

A Little Knowledge

We are judged by lies and by someone else's crimes.
They think they know so much but a little knowledge is dangerous stuff.

They can't forget what others did to them to make the truth appear so dim.
So now we must fight or be in dark light.

Give us people who are strong who know right from wrong,
Give us those who are proud to fight for our youth and for truth.

We stand for freedom of the mind and love of a different kind.
Stand up oh ye brave hearts and do your part.
Let freedom of speech ring because a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Bid Them Return With Knowledge Of Eternity

Send out your best wandering tramps
to the far halls of mortal darkness
Bid them return with knowledge of eternity
and golden words secretly hidden

Beware phantoms will cut and burn
their hides that are soft and tender
Where demonic fires consume each mortal soul
a few hides will there toughen.

Few return but we the living may profit
from dark and deadly encounters
Hercules, half-god more than mere mortal
sowed seeds in man's seeking spirit

Forever we seek the golden chalice
at costs far too steep to bear
Sent courage, blessed gift from the Netherlands
where in darkness, sparks of life blood is kept

Bid them return with knowledge of eternity
Where demonic fires consume each mortal soul
Hercules, half-god more than mere mortal
Sent courage, blessed gift from the Netherlands

Leftover Wine

Leftover wine

Once, you and I, we tried to catch the wind. Once, you and I, tried to touch the clouds. We marvel at our world and we danced freely with the wildflowers and the dancing sea.

You were the prettiest and kindest woman, I ever seen. I loved your silence and I loved your words. I told you. My life is to make you smile, to make you laugh and to make you dance.

You asked me often. What do you need? What do you want? I told you. My only wish is for you to be happy. If I had one wish. The wish would be, for you to find proper place and happiness.

Life is still now for me and the stillness is accepted. I have old memories and leftover wine. I lost my energy of youth and I have accepted less. Sweet lady, savior and sweet wish. You make me remember.

"Let the bells ring, and let the boys sing, the young lassies skip and play, let the cup go around" John Fletcher"

Today I have leftover wine to be shared. Still sweet and tasty to the people needing reasons to smile and be alive. Today I will dance with the moving water of Lake St Clair and whisper to the wind.

We get what we deserve. Bewitching lady, my sweetest breathe and lasting dream. You deserve wild free country, quiet cabin and a garden of wildflowers. Maybe caged man will find this utopia and know what is sweet and kind.

Premium Member Thoughts On Suspense

Suspense is a thing worth not knowing
Dying for the knowledge of the mystery
From novice to brainiac ever flowing,
Slipping into the dark annals of history.

Shudders at the noise of victims’ crying
Suspense is a thing worth not knowing,
Keeping chilblains on the skin denying
Revealing information ne’er extolling.

Red herrings by the hundreds growing
In long heralded stories not so mastered
Suspense is a thing worth not knowing,
Fabled tales of untamed roguish bastards.

Best sellers from all leather anthologies
With black ravens and murderous crowing,
Translated to filmdom with no apologies
Suspense is a thing worth not knowing.

A Word of Knowledge

The Lord gave me a word of knowledge for one
particular person but, it really could be for more.

You are feeling God has abandoned you but, in
reality because you have been in fear because
of circumstances from bad actions and decisions
on your part, you have pulled back from Him.
He hasn’t left you or moved but, you have!

He is saying, repent and draw nigh to God and
He will draw nigh to you. He is waiting to show
you how to pick up the pieces!

God bless,

Abbott Cat

—————————————(Dedicated to our unique cat Gnash)***.
*…..*****….*****…..
Know that Abbott Cat
Had the stride
Of the pure…placing:
Each step forward
With the slightest lift
   of the upper ankle
So to set down his
Paws — first the toes,
Then the heels
As ballet dancers do,
In a gait of grace and
  Blessed dignity…
Like the passing by
Of an acolyte — we
May nod our heads
In respect and
   recognition
    of the passing
     Cross.

Abbott held, so
It felt, some
Secret knowledge,
Some gems requiring
A very regal posture.
To carry the inner
 Cache of
Secrets of heaven;
Some wisdom
 His mews
Could not share?
Still, his noble
Carriage and his
   mystery held psalms
Giving lyrics to his
Every motion, with
A prefacing instant
Of a weightless rise.
And, Abbott
Welcomed
An open lap
To curl round upon:
His black, furry back’s
Cape and vestment-
      muffler tail,
To be stroked
By a gentle hand,
Without precepts…
Over and again,
Like the redeemer’s
Promises, a gracing
Causing Abbott Cat’s
Spirit a wistful smile,
Plus a coded, grateful
Mew…
